guide, which I'll link in In today's description, we're only focusing on shiny Pokémon, so shiny Pokémon are pretty rare. You typically have a 1 in 4096 chance of finding one or hatching one from an egg; However, through reproduction we could do something called the Masuda

method

to bring them in. The odds drop significantly to one in 682 or one in 512 if you are lucky enough to have the shiny amulet and all you need to do to activate the Masuda method is simply breed 2 Pokémon together that are from different language games, that's all , this method.

In fact, it's been in every Pokémon game since Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Game Freak director Genichi Masuda programmed it into those games, as Diamond and Pearl on the Nintendo DS were the first Pokémon games where you could actually trade with people around the world. Obviously, with that being said, the first and most important thing you'll need to do this method is a Pokémon from a different language game. For example, if you are playing an English game, you can breed an English Pokémon with anything that is Japanese. French Italian German Spanish Korean or Chinese and you will have a higher chance of having a shiny Pokémon.

You can tell a Pokémon from a different language game because, first of all, the name is probably a little different than what you're used to. Also in the right corner of the screen you will see a small symbol that shows what language the Pokémon was originally from. There are a few different methods to get a foreign Pokémon. One strategy I've used to get some foreign Pokémon is to do surprise trades late at night during US time. This nursery is in the bridge field section in the wild area and the reason I like this one a little more than the other one is because you can easily breed Pokémon without paying much attention here if you hold both joiques on the sticks on the left or both sticks on your pro controller on the left, the game has you running in circles as you move your character and move the camera at the same time.

Now this is super good for breeding because it allows you to breed your Pokémon very easily without changing your direction. as you'll eventually have to do when using the daycare on Route 5. Another reason I like this one a little more is because you can run in circles and basically keep the daycare woman in your sight the entire time. If you are doing this now, the reason this is important is because you will be able to easily see when an egg is ready.
