I have pajamas, t-shirts and also some exercise equipment and as always, the first thing I do. When I start an

al project I simply empty the space I am working on. I personally like to do this just because I want to see what kind of items I have and use. I also want to buy some clothes and also clean the Area I'm working on after emptying my dressers. I'm going to start cleaning with this lady. Meyer cleaned with honeysuckle scent and I'm just using a microfiber or whatever cloth to sweep up all the dust and crumbs I may have, my clothes were kind of overflowing in the

drawer

so I thought I needed more space and bought a foam board. at Target and right now what I'm doing is just measuring the inside of my drawer, the length, the width and also the depth, and I'm going to cut my foam board accordingly to make some

I'm using a tape measure because that's what I found lying around my house, but you can also use a ruler of course, and now what I'm doing is just tracing the exact measurement on my foam board and I'm just dotting little lines with my pen and then I'm going to connect the dots so I can have a straight line and I can start cutting my entire board with an x-acto knife and with a flat surface right now I'm using just a very hard desk type thing to get it between the bed and the foam board and very carefully use your x-acto knife because you have to apply a little bit of pressure so be very careful when you cut the foam board when you have the exact amount of foam board dividers that you are I'm going to put them inside your drawer and I'm just applying a little bit of pressure just because they're the exact measurement I wanted and that's great because they're not going to move, you can also play with the placement of them for any design you want, like this I was feeling a little crafty and adventurous so I'm going to pull out my drawer because I'm going to do a little thing called decoupage and what decoupage is is just sticking a piece of craft paper on a piece of furniture or canvas or whatever, like that I found this gorgeous gift wrapping paper at Marshall's.

It's by Cynthia Rowley. I think it was only three dollars and what I liked about it is that it's so colorful, vibrant and it's actually very thick so it's perfect for this. project, so now that I have the measurements on the side of my drawer, I will cut it accordingly to adhere the wrapping paper to my furniture. I'm using some craft glue and the name is Mod Podge. I'll leave a picture here. and this craft glue is perfect for this type of project and now I'm just placing the paper on the furniture and using some of the foam to secure it.

I'm also using a foam craft brush because it really distributes very evenly. Again I'm using a foam board just so I can remove any bubbles that might get trapped and also to secure the paper well and I also go to the edges so I decided to

organize

my t-shirts by color. I wanted to color coordinate them and it didn't really matter if I mixed and matched short sleeve with long sleeve. I just wanted them to all be the same color, so like I said in the intro to this video, we're going to use Murray. condo folding method and that is a Kumari way so I laid my tea flat and folded the right side of my shirt vertically inwards making sure there are no wrinkles and then I grabbed my sleeve and folded it back and then I'm grabbing the left side overlapping it and making a long rectangle and I'm doing the same with the sleeve and now I'm going to fold it in half starting from the hem to the neckline and then make two more. little folds up you're practically no one it's perfect and tight when you stand it up and it stays in my second drawer.
I have a lot of workout t-shirts and I also have a lot of thick outdoor fleece type fabric, long sleeve type. shirts and since they are a little bulky I wanted to do less folds just to make them a little thinner once folded and sit taller so I just fold them twice also in the second drawer I am using these two boxes and their gift boxes for Carefully group my t-shirts. I got them on sale at Target in the Christmas store for 90% off and it was $3 and I only paid 30 cents so we're going to lay out our shirts like this and they look a little bit alike. you like the way of filing envelopes and that is exactly what Marie Kondo taught us in her book and this type of organization system allows you to save space in your drawers by placing clothes standing up and it also looks more organized you can also use a shoe box that I'm not even using some plastic bags from the Dollar Tree, the point is to use whatever you have on hand.
I also found some makeup subscription boxes I found in my closet and I'm going to repurpose them. I really love how they look. and now I have more room for more workout shirts so I was doing some washing that day and I realized there were more shirts in the wash so I thought I should use the vertical primer which I didn't use. I really use, so the way I'm going to do it is just take all the shirts that I already folded, take them out one by one and fold them so that they are thinner and longer instead of being tighter and very short, so instead of making three folds, I'm just going to make one and look, I'll show you one more time, just a grip like this and it makes it thinner and longer so you can fit more shirts, as you can see, all my shirts now fit all of them. the way up but now since they are thinner I have all that space in the back my third and last drawer holds my pajamas so I'm going to show you how to fold some pajama pants you are going to place the pants on a flat surface and then fold the left leg over the right and the little triangle you're going to fold it inwards as well and then you're going to fold the bottom part towards the waist and then you're going to fold it inwards twice before I show it to you. the inside of my drawers I wanted to show you how beautiful the outside looks before we finish this is a cherry on top you are going to grab your favorite fragrance or perfume right now I'm taking my essential oils because you know how much I love them and I'm adding just a few drops on a cotton pad so we can scent and freshen our drawer and I'm just adding a few drops of different oils that I think smell delicious and to avoid contact with my clothes.
I'm going to attach the cotton pad to the foam board with this clip I found in my office. I also want to do the same thing with my other drawer and the middle one is my gym clothes so I'm putting some energizing blends in there. Like citrus oils, my bottom drawer is my pajama drawer, so I'm putting some lavender oil in there. Having a beautiful and organized dresser will definitely make me smile every morning when I wake up and want to know what to wear. It will be quick and easy to choose a t-shirt. You see, that's what organization is all about: simplifying, optimizing your time management, improving your overall quality of life by being stress-free.
