I'm making this super short and sweet video for that reason, whether this is your first sale or your 100th sale, when I started my Etsy store, I implemented the strategies and tactics I'm sharing today in this video. This is my quote-unquote bulletproof formula for getting a sale in the next 24 hours. I have found that it works time and time again without failure. Now what I am going to suggest in this video is action, take action, we are not talking about a theory or something that you need to manifest in your head, they are all concrete action steps that you need to take, this is getting out of your comfort zone , there are many things you should take.

I want to get into the third concept, which is adopting a trial and error mentality. This is crucial for any business you start because I have a background in science. I was not formally taught how to do marketing and from the beginning of my career. Atsy Business I saw it almost as a science experiment, so to speak.
I was testing all these variables and trying different things and when I started teaching on YouTube and working with clients one on one, I found a client who told me in our one-on-one meeting. -a meeting, oh you know, I love that you teach that this is a trial and error mentality and I never really thought about aty and print on demand like that until this client said this and I realized that's exactly what that I want people to take as a conclusion when they start a business because business is trial and error, you are going to try things that don't work, you are going to try things that do work and then you will probably start doing what does work. over and over again because it gives you sales, which is the ultimate goal, if it doesn't work, it didn't work and I like to quote this person that I met recently on my husband and I's honeymoon and I heard him say it. many times, but it wasn't until we met this really nice couple that they were talking to us and we were going to ask a question that we were afraid to ask and the couple's husband said, you know, the worst thing they could say is No, I wouldn't.
The worst thing that could happen to your business right now and in the next 24 hours is someone saying no to you and what could happen is someone saying yes and buying from you, so keep that in mind as we move forward in this video. because it's going to come back up so now we're here at the point in the video that most of you probably skipped and for those who didn't, you guys are OG, thanks for watching this whole video if you just skip to this part, that's completely fine, no judgment, but I still think the first part of this video is really good to watch, so I would suggest backing up a little bit because I'm going to reference something I said a little bit.

I was surprised how quickly I got a first sale and then started almost daily sales within the first 2 weeks of having the store. open and these are awkward steps but know that if you do them you may see results, if you implement one of the two methods you will probably see a success rate of one out of two, if you implement both methods we will most likely see a rate very high success rate by achieving a sale in the next 24 hours.
The first part of this method is to request a sale. There are three ways to request a sale. You don't have to do all three. You can choose one. Of the three, the first method is to ask 5-10 friends, coworkers, and family members to shop at your store. Many of you may be sitting here right now, like Heather, this is how you get a first sale in the first 24 hours, but what is it really? It happens and the really nice thing about asking someone is that they can ask you. Hey, I don't see anything in your store that I really like, but can you create this and this product could become a product that ends up selling repeatedly and could also become a bestseller in the future because it is a product that you never thought of in creating now.
If you're still with me right now and saying, "Okay, I have to ask a friend or family member. I'm mortified." I'm terrified of showing anyone that I'm working on a business or an Etsy shop. To buy from it, there is a third way that goes along with this, which is to join communities on Facebook on Discord in niches that you are designing your products for by posting and offer a discount to those groups, since I want to warn here to ask Ask the admins of each Facebook group on each Discord if you can post your small business in them before doing this, but this is a really valid way to post, inform people, and ask for a sale without asking anyone you know. I would have done it this way before because the results were incredible and again going back to that couple I met on our honeymoon. and the husband who told me that the worst thing they could say is that I don't wish I had met that person a while ago because it took me a little while to realize that all I had to do was ask the managers and a lot of managers were happier to say yes, especially when you're building products in an underserved niche, there aren't many products for many niches that people actually want to buy, and if you have that product, an admin is more likely to say yes because they want to share it on your group also the day I posted in a Facebook group I ended up getting over 10 sales that day posting in that Facebook group and if I had been afraid of the answer no then I would have never reached 250,000 income on Etsy which was a take home gross profit of 100,000 kids, if you're sitting here terrified and petrified by the answer no, I want you to get excited about a yes and one suggestion that I have and one pro tip if you got to this part of the video is also to offer the admins a group discount for posting in that group that even looks better for the admins and even complimenting the admins on that post and that's even more.
Goodwill in your favor for posting in the future as well. I know it is the scariest method. but again, this is the way they can start to see results: get out of their comfort zone and do something different that they haven't done before. The second method is marketing. This will seem very simple to many of you. and a no-brainer for others, but for me I started with no marketing experience, as we established earlier in this video, and when I discovered this method, it was honestly a Cher game for my store. I went from having maybe one sale a day to tripling it. my daily sales, this method consists of making flash sales, no matter how simple it may seem.
I started running a flash sale every other day in my business and set my sales for 24 hours. I would offer a 10-15-20% discount. and by activating that flash sale within 24 hours of the sale starting and ending, I would typically have a sale and a few sales by the time I started scaling my business. I would have 10 to 20 sales even when I was implementing the Facebook posts I would publish. On Facebook groups you would typically see 10 sales on an average day if you didn't have an active sale and then you would see 20-30 sales if you posted on Facebook groups and then also ran a flash sale at the same time.
The second part of this method that you can also do is to use Etsy ads, apply Etsy ads in the marketing method, running the flash sale event and then activating ads, this can increase your visibility on atsy and generate more traffic, more clicks. and more eyes on those listings, as much as you're willing to spend the next day on Etsy, you could at least try this to increase your visibility and again you're also increasing your visibility by sharing them with maybe friends, family, coworkers on Facebook. you're sharing on social media, there are many ways that this just boosts your listings on Etsy and you can see a sale in the next 24 hours, so if you made it to the end of this video, generally, these are the two methods that they took my own shop out of its comfort zone they took me out of my comfort zone as a new entrepreneur and having a new shop on Etsy that I didn't know would succeed or fail on Etsy, especially in the beginning stages where I really I didn't want to tell anyone that I had an Etsy shop and I'm so happy when I finally got out of my comfort zone.
