HOW EASILY CAN YOU COMPLETE PROFESSOR OAK'S CHALLENGE IN POKEMON BLACK/WHITE?

Jun 01, 2021
What's happening guys? My name is John and welcome back to another video. In November of last year I accepted the Professorworks

challenge

on Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, which at the time was the most requested video I had ever posted. Although I have accepted sword and shield games during this period of time, everyone has requested it a lot, so take a look at the fifth generation and today we are going to do just that, today we will find out how easy it is to

complete

teacher jobs.

challenge

in

pokemon

black

and

white

considering this challenge as well as the malls/commodities on my channel right now it's not that surprising that you'd really want me to take it but for those who keep up with this challenge on the subreddit you know There are some unique additions that make this much harder than any of the other games we've

complete

d before.

If you have no idea what the teacher job challenge is, I've included a playlist so you can check it out at the top right of the screen to better understand what this video is about, regardless, let's go over the established rules. The first rule is used to capture all Pokémon that are available before each gym badge. The second rule is that you can only capture it. Using a copy of the game means that things like trade evolutions and the exclusive version of Pokémon will not be available, this makes it as successful as possible for everyone and for those who are worried, there will be a lot of Pokémon that we are going to use.

More Interesting Facts About,

I have to understand the third and last rule is that you cannot use exploits or flaws. This is pretty much a staple in every challenge, but I still wanted to mention it before starting this challenge. Make sure to leave a like on the video and subscribe for more content like this and with that out of the way let's jump right into this so our story begins with new fame in a city where we meet sharon and bianca and immediately we can choose our starter you will have to overcome the entire challenge, although everyone evolves at the same level.

The best technical Pokémon you can choose is Oshawott because it can eventually learn a false form and can make the gathering part of this challenge a little faster than the other options, if you are looking to do this as quickly as possible this is probably your one. best option and if I'm honest you'll want to save as much time as you can after a couple of introductory battles and collecting the pokedex we find ourselves in all of this starting with route 1. Although the first two capture areas contain almost the same Pokémon , it's best to not even bother with this area and just head to Route 2 as fast as you can to catch Pokémon at almost double the level you normally find them at after completing a few tutorial sequences and have a quick battle.

We can head to the route to collect our first catches. Here we can catch Pat Rat Lillipop and steal once we reach the end. the route we can jump through Stride City and enter the courtyard of dreams after a couple of matches, we can talk to his npc and receive one of the monkeys according to the starter we chose because I chose Oshawott, here they gave me pants, This brings the total to 5 Pokémon and, believe it or not, these are the only Pokémon we have to catch for the first section of the challenge. You're probably thinking, wow, this has to be the easiest teaching job ever.
I mean, let's catch more Pokémon and let's go. and you beat that challenge in one day which brings me to a very interesting part of the challenge so when it comes to the grinding part we really only have two locations we can train in and those are routes one and two , now we are not strangers. to long grinds and in most games the first section is usually the biggest hoop they have to jump through, but this section is very different from the rest in generation 5, the experience changed forever in the sense that, Instead of each Pokémon you defeat giving you the same experience no matter who takes it, the mechanics were adjusted to include a very influential factor: the level of the Pokémon you fight.
The way the new formula works is that if you encounter a Pokémon that is a higher level than you and defeat it, you will defeat it. You will receive more experience than if you fought at the same level. Gamefreak presumably wanted to add a rewarding bonus for defeating a fierce opponent and for the most part this is a pretty solid feature, although the biggest problem with this addition is the fact that Courage also works in the opposite direction, this means that if you are a higher level than the opponent you are facing, you will actually gain less experience than if you are the same level.
This means that every time we level up. By selecting a Pokémon while working on this challenge, we will eventually reach a point where we will gradually gain less and less in each battle, for example, if we train our starter up to level 35, it will need approximately 3500 experience to reach evolution. Finally if we calculate the experience curve, this means that if we fight a level 7 lollipop in each battle, we would gain 19 xp per battle instead of the 78 we would normally get if we were at the same level, this means that Instead of having to To fight 45 battles to advance to the next level, we will have to do 185, which is more than four times more than the standard experience, so with all this in mind, how can we do this before we turn 40?
Well if you look at my Professor Oak's challenge for ruby and sapphire you will know that collecting rare candies with pickup ability takes up a big part of the challenge and this is definitely no exception, luckily Lily Pop can collect them quite

easily

but that's how it is . It's important to remember that because Rare Candies dropped too frequently in Generation 3, Emerald and onwards, the drop percentage changes depending on the Pokémon's level between levels 21 and 40, there is a four percent chance that Let's get one after every battle and level up. Any higher than that would be extremely suboptimal, that being said the most optimal option for leveling up your

pokemon

may be one of these options, having a squad of level 21 lollipops while grinding each pokemon or just four of them and a lillipup with vital spirit with this ability in your party's first slot, any encounter we encounter will have a 50 chance of being at the higher end of encounter levels, which in turn increases your chances of getting more XP per battle.
I chose this option because it is statistically faster to do, but it still took me a significant amount of time to complete this section. Pat Red and Purlin were the only Pokémon I had to fully evolve from wild battles, as I had a pretty solid chance of getting some rare candies for each Pokémon. I tried to calculate it and got a chance of around 1.9 on each battle, which is definitely nowhere near the almost 5 of generation iii, but I'll take anything that makes this section easier after about an hour and half. For each, that rat evolved into Watch Hog and Purloin evolved into Lie part with this, we only have two more Pokémon that we have to evolve, but when you consider what I mentioned before, you will need to mix a lot with some grinding.
Of those rare candies, I forgot to mention this before, but when it came time to grind the initial lollipops, they took about an hour and a half each, this helped when it came time to evolve one of them to its final two evolutions, which initially It may seem like it would be more damaging considering I'll have an even lower chance of drops in the next section, but considering that leveling up gets significantly easier for each section, it's really not worth leveling up another one from the start, said this, if only our starter took the longest part of the section.
I started by leveling both Pokémon to 25 and then progressively leveled up lillipop until I had enough rare candies to take care of both, although we had relatively good drop chances I still had to do it. get lollipop up to level 28 before i have enough rare candies to take care of oshawa's remaining levels. This process took about six hours for lollipop, not including the first grind until 21, and another four hours to get oshawott to level 25. with this lollipop he evolved into hertier and stoutland and oshawa evolved into a duat and then into samurai, this brings us to a total of somehow only 11 Pokémon and all the Pokémon available before the first batch, while that mess is sorted out things should improve a bit.
It's easier, fortunately they do, after defeating Ceylon, we can go through a few more interactions with the plasma team before we can advance to the west of Striat and City before heading there, now that we can access the courtyard extension of the dreams we can enter. the grass and catch muna when we reach route 3 we have a battle with charon and then we face the plasma team in the fountain cave before we can find Pokémon freely wherever we want on route 3 we can catch blitzel and inside the fountain cave we can catch rocks and rolla and wupa, but if we interact with the dust clouds we can also catch Drillburr because we have completed the team plasma encounter.
We can now interact with a new Shaking Grass to take Audino and Musharna to the Courtyard of Dreams after heading to the end of In the third round we can access the city of Necrean and, unlike the previous section, we can pass through this area to find some more Pokémon. The pinwheel forest contains two sections and until you defeat Lenora you will only be able to battle outside Pokémon. It is also important to note that now that we can access double grass, it is highly recommended that you find everything you can here because there is a good chance that you will find much higher level Pokémon.
Here we can catch a wooden post and throw it into the grass and Through special encounters we can get socks, which brings the total to 23 Pokémon, as well as all the Pokémon we can capture for this section, so although the distance between gyms one and two is extremely small, there are still many high profile matches they will have. evolve but fortunately there are much easier methods that we can now take advantage of now that we have access to the trembling grass we can finally start one of the most popular methods to level up our catches in generation 5.
I don't know battles For some reason, this risky imitation provides an absurd amount of experience with level 15 encounters granting over a thousand XP when you're at the same level, even approaching 30 we're seeing values of over 500 XP which is still leagues better than literally any other encounter At this point in the story, it's important to note that there's still a five percent chance that you can find the semi version of the exclusive shot or sock here, but compared to most areas of shaky grass, this one is one of the best locations to constantly find autonomy, another important benefit here is the ability to heal our Pokémon with a nurse in this area, which also saves an absurd amount of time, although we are already quite close to the Korean city before start grinding, it is important that we return.
Enter the fountain cave and interact with the dust clouds. For each cloud you cycle into, there are 10 chances that you will receive a stone item and the goal is to obtain a fire stone through the process. There are a total of 12 different stones, so it's as expected. which will take you quite a while and it took me almost two hours to find the one I needed after using the item panzer evolved into simiseer now let's actually take care of the grinding section of all the pokemon wood which was by far the The Easiest Pokemon to complete on the list due to its immediate access to Low Kick and eventually Wake Up Slap.
It was pretty easy to quickly work through every strange note I found after about 30 minutes. The wood evolved into a beam, although rock and roll needed quite a bit. the same amount of experience to evolve, the only really useful move it learns is rock blast and as a result it took quite a bit longer to make any real progress after just over an hour rock n roll evolved into bolore blitza era a relatively easy Pokémon to evolve. Train, as you can use Shockwave right away, but you won't learn another stab move until a couple of levels before you need to evolve.
In total, it took about two hours to evolve Blitzel into Zeb Strika Hitov and Drilbert took almost the same amount of work. to evolve, although they both evolve below 30, there aren't many cool moves they can learn and most of the time you'll just be spamming air cutters and digs, which really drags out battles untilyou get something of later moves like slash after two and a half hours for each hit evolved to calm and pheasant free and drilber evolved to excadrill temple, no wonder it took longer to evolve as it was like leveling up a starter again , but fortunately it learns quite a few backstab moves, such as mud shots with bubble rays and even muddy water, which really reduced the number of times I had to heal during this process.
I managed to grab some rare candies, so luckily I was able to skip the last five levels after too. About two and a half hours, temper evolved to palpitoed and then to seismitoad during the grinding sessions. I took wubat on my team and once I leveled up everything else, it only took one level for it to evolve into swubat, this brings a total of 33 pokemon and All the Pokemon you can get before the second batch, after a battle Quickly with Lenore in the museum, we can collect the second badge and head to the intersection of the pinwheel forest to recover the fossil head stolen from the team's plasma while we work.
Through the grass we can grab most of the Pokémon available for this section. Here we can catch the Venipod and two petals for a trade that we'll get to in a moment, since most of you know that this Pokémon evolves via a Sunstone. and this is one of the items you can get as a drop of the clouddust we used before, but if you interact with the trembling grass, there is a 5 chance that you will encounter a liligan, this can still take quite a while to happen, but considering that we're going to need to meet up with pan sage and pamper anyway, there's a nice There's a good chance you'll find one along the way after returning the fossil to Berg and Lenora.
We can exit to the north and take the Skyro Bridge towards the city of Castellia as we enter the city if we stop and talk to this man nearby. At the entrance, he will give us a free evolution stone of our choice because I managed to collect a water stone earlier with the dust clouds. I chose to go with a blade stone to really speed up the grinding in this section, although this area is the location of At the next gym we will be able to move throughout the city and if we head north we can walk directly towards Route 4.
If we go We go into the deep sand we can catch Sandile Darumaka and Scraggy. This will be the last section of the area. Since we are blocked from going further into the area due to construction, if we return to Queen City and talk to this person, we can exchange that second petal we caught for the other exclusive cottony version, now it's time to do some grinding, Although Audino can be found a couple of lovers further up inside the forest, the fact that it only has an encounter rate of 65 makes it much less optimal than simply returning outside like we did in the last section, the easiest Pokémon to evolve. .
For this section it was definitely Venipede at first, it's a bit annoying because it doesn't learn any good moves, but once you reach level 19 it can learn poison tail and then insect sting shortly after. In total, it only took a little less than an hour to evolve into Venipede. In wurlipede and then in Skulloped Darumaka was surprisingly an extremely easy Pokémon to train. I never really knew this little thing had a base attack of 90. When you combined that with the fire fang and finally the fire punch, it just took a little while before. It was a self shot after an hour, darumaka evolved into darmanitan sandal and scraggy took almost the same amount of time and luckily during this grind I collected a decent amount of rare candies to alleviate that level 40 grind when it comes to sandals, you'll probably want to. catch one at the lowest level you can and that's only because it learns bytes at level 4.
This works much better than safety and you're going to stick with that move for a long time until you basically evolve it. The first time, scraggy only really starts with a weak attack, but once you learn how to break bricks, he'll basically take you to the end. In total, it took about four hours to evolve Sandile into crocoroc and crocodile and scraggy into scrafty, the final Pokémon. The one we are going to train is Sawadel and because my friendship evolves, I took him through the grinding process to quickly finish this process after grinding him a little.
Sewall evolved into swadloon and then Leah Vanni to evolve into Cottony. We're going to have to grab a sun stone from the dust clouds, but luckily I was unlucky finding the fire stone, so I managed to grab one on top of the water stone I mentioned before. With all these stones we can turn Cottony into Whimsicott Pan Sage. the semi-sage and mime in semi-pour this brings a total of 54 pokemon and all the pokemon available before the third batch after a few more interactions with the plasma team and defeating burke's gym, we can return north to route 4 and fight against bianca and charon.
Before touching and recording the city, it is important that we head to the west of the desert complex, although it is mandatory to return here later in the story. We still have to catch all the Pokémon in the area inside the desert. We can catch Maractus Dwell and Sigouliff before we get there. Head to the relic castle, we can also grab a couple more on the first floor, we can meet Yamask, but if we talk to this npc we can choose between one of these fossils, since they both evolve at the same level, there is really no disadvantage. either of them, but I personally chose Archan due to his high damage output.
While capturing all of these Pokémon, I managed to find a glowing sand dial in the desert resort, which is awesome considering I didn't find anything else while I was grinding up to this point, there's definitely a nice glow, but I'm not going to evolve this thing. Have you seen their evolutions? After all, now we can head to a relief city to pick up the bike and take a little ride on it. ferris wheel before facing n at this point we are thrown right in front of the gym, but we are allowed to head east or west to catch a few more pokemon through regular encounters in the grass, we can catch trash, tumencino and jealousus , but we can also catch Sinchino and Imoga through the special encounters, this brings the total to 63 Pokémon because Elisa has to activate the drawbridge so we can head to the next city.
We've reached another obstacle in the story, so let's take some time to work on our captures. and see what our top picks are now, although pinwheel forest is still a viable training option. Routes 5 and 16 offer oddno at a much higher level with the only sacrifice being that their encounter rate drops to 85 percent due to the inclusion of vmoga. and cencino, however the good thing is that these strangers do not vary from level 19 to 22, which means that the standard experience rate is almost 1500 experience if you fight at the same level because there really is not a big place to go by bike on route 5.
I would recommend only grinding on route 16 because there is a small strip right in front of the grass that will lead to more encounters on the other side considering we have to go to the pinwheel forest anyway to revive our fossil and get archen, give a little more. It's an incentive to work here, but if you want this done as quickly as possible, you'll probably want to do it on one of the northernmost routes. Dwell was by far the easiest Pokémon to evolve for this section if you catch one at the top level. You'll almost immediately have access to double stab options, and since Odno has a high chance of holding a berry, you'll be healed in battle, making the initial fuel levels significantly easier after about 45 minutes.
Dwebel evolved into crustal archan and troubus were also relatively easy Pokémon. evolve and a big part of that is due to his level of movesets, although Archen may seem annoying due to his defeatist ability, we are still 10 steps away from healing and we also have the eat berry move, which is recommended to just use it if you get stunts at level 28. trubish has access to sludge and eventually sludge bomb later in grinding and while the special attack isn't too good, these moves do massive damage to Pokémon of a level so low after about an hour and a half of each arching evolved as archaeops and trubish evolved into garbador the last two pokemon we have to take care of are yamask and jealousus and although they evolve almost 10 levels apart from each other, yamask has a small issue that makes filth quite annoying umass The moveset is almost entirely ghost type moves and if you look at his moveset for leveling up there are very few tms that are useful and available at this point in the game .
I thought maybe returning would do a decent amount of damage, but I found out that it did. Much easier if I could change trains while I was working on stelosis. This Pokémon also has a relatively weak moveset, but at least scishok is powerful enough to sweep away most strange people. The main disadvantage is that this move has only 10 pp. and the next good move you'll get will probably be Psychic at level 37. After about two hours, Umass evolved into Coffee Grigas and because I gained a lot more XP on my own, it only took me about an hour and a half to evolve into Solosis. duosian and then to reuniclus this brings a total of 70 pokemon and all the pokemon you can get before the fourth batch.
Now that everything is taken care of, we can head to Elisa's gym and collect the fourth badge that allows us to take care of a few more. battles on Route 5, in addition to being able to access the drawbridge of the drift field, if we bike to one of these interactive places on the map, we can catch Ducklit, bringing the total to 71 Pokémon. At the end of the bridge we arrived at Driftfield City to meet. Clay we have to take care of a couple more events in the story before facing him is even an option. Before doing so, if we head to this building we can talk to this npc who is looking for a manchino and if we exchange the second one we captured before, receive basculina and return from here, we can head south, to the outer section of the chamber refrigerator, and the only Pokémon we are going to collect here will be vanilla, which fortunately we can find at a relatively high level. level after completing another team plasma event and having a discussion in the gym, we now have access to face the fifth gem before doing so, we still have access to the northern encounter route, the routes take us to the final location of this section, as We are completely blocked from any new areas until the clay clears the wall to load the stone cave.
That said, there are quite a few new Pokémon to collect here. Here we can catch keroblasts and deer fungus, which brings us to about half the area. Unova Regional Pokedex Now let's take a look at the basic part of this section, although we have advanced only a little in the story, the Odno wild minimum has increased by three, which means that we find level 25 with the Pokémon at the same level than us. You gain barely 2000 experience and even at the low end we're only looking at a couple hundred ultimates. As we begin our list will be basic.
This Pokémon spins at level 47, which is by far the highest level we've ever had. train up to this point, although the avalanche is not necessarily as bad as oh no, yeah, so my game froze in the history of using a nintendo ds. I've literally never had this happen to me and I can't understand it in my life. For my part, why would this have happened? Unfortunately, the last spot I saved was right before I was about to take on Elise's gym, so I lost all progress for this section. It was only a little over an hour at the end of the day, so it's not exactly the biggest business in the world.
I was just really confused as to how something like that could happen. I usually record most encounters before I start working to make editing easier at the end, so at least I didn't miss one Most of this section, well, now that we're caught up, the easiest Pokémon to train was by far , Deerling, while the stats are nothing to get crazy about, has immediate access to a jump kick, which is absurdly powerful even though it doesn't stab you. You also have the takedown and power ball at your disposal, but overall it's a pretty easy routine to beat after about 30 minutes.
Deerling evolved into sasebo because Ducklit gains immediate access to two different stab moves. It was also relatively easy to complete once you have access to air. short at level 27, battles become much easier with possible flinching, but overall this didn't require too much effort after an hour of grinding. Ducklitevolved into mushroom Swanna, it was definitely a pretty annoying Pokémon to evolve now statistically compared to all the other Pokémon. It's not really any different here, but depending on the level you catch it at, you'll have access to only gigadrain, which means you'll have to heal a lot to restore your energy points.
That being said, you should probably catch one before the level. 27, so at least you have a mega drain for the last part of the routine because even though you're pretty close to a pokemon center it gets pretty annoying after a while, after two hours the fungus evolved into mungus, no surprise , Vanilla was by far the most difficult Pokémon. To evolve, this Pokémon evolves to level 47, which is by far the highest level we've had to train up to this point, although Avalanche isn't necessarily a bad move. Freezing Winds' base damage will do much more due to your higher special attack.
Personally, this is another Pokémon that would probably be better if it were trained at a lower level. The only other stat move you'll get during this routine will be the Ice Beam right before your first evolution, but at that point you'll already be dealing a lot of damage to it. Really anything, after about three and a half hours, Vanillish evolved into Vanillish and then Vanillox, bringing the total to 81 Pokémon and all the Pokémon you can get before the fifth badge, after taking care of Clay's gym, We can return to the end of the route. 6 with him so he can open the entrance to Chartstone Cave.
This area has a few story events, but also houses almost half of the encounters in this section. Additionally, we also receive Professor Juniper's lucky egg that will reduce grinding. portions massively for the rest of this run as we progress through the cave we can catch joltik pharaoh seed jingle and dynamo bringing our dax to 85 pokemon after clearing more plasma from the team and having a quick battle with n we get to miss dalton city, which is the location of the next gym for the moment, let's go north and get some more encounters on route 7. If we change the date to a winter month, we can encounter Cub Shoe, which is one of the few Pokémon that we will need.
By changing the time for this race, halfway through this route we can access the celestial tower, which will be the final location for the encounters in this section. Here we can take litwick and elgin on the way to the top, since we will need to bring the bell. Anyway, in order to challenge the gym, the Swiss Mountain is currently locked until we complete the sixth gem, so let's go over the evolutions of this section before jumping into all that, as we hope, this time Ottano is at a much higher level high and ranges between levels 26 to 29 this means we can earn up to around 2200 Lucky Egg will double the experience for each Autum you fight, so although we have a ton of high-profile Pokémon for this section, they are all relatively easy to complete due to the ridiculous experience we get from each Autum.
The easiest Pokémon to train by far were joltik and kubchu, although although Electro Ball only has 10 pp, the fact that this move is based on how much faster it is than you. opponent, the move deals massive damage no matter what level you are at. The bug bite is a great option and as I mentioned above, it has a high potential to heal you after each battle, especially if your joltik has the compound eyes ability on the other hand. Kub Chew is a bit of an interesting Pokémon to evolve, you'll want to catch it in the normal grass as it has access to zero moves in the double grass, but the only one you can get along the way is Iicle Crash, which you can level up in the As you evolve for the most part, Freezing Wind and Brine will be your only options, but considering the Kub Shoe has decently high attack stats, it shouldn't take long to level up after about 30 minutes per evolved Joltik. .
Galvantula and Kub Chu evolved into Bear Tick, although Litwick may seem like another annoying ghost Pokémon to evolve, having acids in flame bursts early on makes this one pretty easy to evolve, the only other option is hell at level 38, so that I would stay with that. Unless you really need it, after about an hour of grinding, the LED awakening evolved into a lamp and because I picked up a dust stone at the beginning of the run, I was able to immediately turn it into a chandelier. Pharaoh's Seed is generally known as a very defensive Pokémon, so as a result its moveset isn't exactly the best for grinding, your main option is Metalclaw, but Pin Missile and Gyro Ball are good backup options.
If you run out of pp when you reach the upper 30s it won't really matter what move you use, but the initial battles can get a little tedious after a little over an hour, pharaoh's seat evolved into ferrothorn, if you get to the right level, elgin You'll start off knowing the psi beam, which is really good considering the next special move you'll get is psychic zoom. the end of the routine, if you desperately need a backup move, the zen headbutt is still a solid option and as usual, it doesn't matter too much once you start hitting the higher levels after about an hour and a half, elgin evolved into bgm tynamo is initially a pretty annoying pokemon to grind and that's almost entirely because it doesn't learn a single move until it evolves.
Spark deals quite a bit of damage and will be your main source of attack, but this Pokémon is still quite fragile. so I would spend the first few levels training him before he could actually fight on his own after a little less than two hours. titamo evolved into electric and with a thunder stone it evolved into electros. Jingle was by far the most difficult Pokémon to evolve, requiring about 10 levels more than almost all the others, as always, rare candies help in the end, but working up to that point can still be very difficult, although you have the option to learn quite a few moves during the routine, chances are you'll stick around. with gear grime for most of the time, once you've got it all down the grind goes by much quicker and for the most part it's a pretty leisurely grind after about two and a half hours the jingle evolved to clang and then to cling clang. brings the total of 98 Pokémon and all the Pokémon available before the sixth patch, after defeating Skyler and her gym, we can meet with Alder and then access the interior of Twist Mountain if you are still playing in a winter month. makes this section much easier to get through, but you have a much better chance of finding cryogenol, which is normally a one percent encounter on any other mother.
Upon leaving the mountain, we are immediately thrown into the city of Icarus, which is the location of the Geminids' next journey. However, the game doesn't restrict us as much this time, so we're going to put in a little more effort than just catching a Pokémon. If we change the weather to anything other than winter, we can venture through Icarus City and catch shells and stun fish, which takes us to over two-thirds of the entire pokedex universe if we head to the top of the city. , we can go to the entrance to the dragon spiral tower and although we can't enter right now, we can still catch a Few outside here we can catch Myanfoo and Drudgin, which is all we can get for this general area, although it seems That's all we can do because we're blocked from the path ahead.
There is one thing we are forgetting. hm for surfing, which means we can go back to a couple of old locations for more encounters. If we fly to Drift Field City, we can surf in the water next to the lighthouse and interact with the ripple holes to grab a couple of new Pokémon. This allows us If we add gelasin and alamomola to our total, heading west of the city will take us back to route six and, if we follow the water trails that run through the entire area, we will be able to access Mr. Alton's cave at as we move through the area.
We can catch Axio before entering the guidance chamber. Once we have a quick conversation with the old man, we can find our first legendary cobalion. Now normally these encounters are quite difficult to catch, but since we can buy special pokeballs like timer and dusk balls, it doesn't take much effort to secure this special Pokémon after just a few throws, we can add it to the total because we start these new side quests , the other two legendaries of the trio are unlocked, but because one is further away in the story than we currently are, we can only return to the first location if we venture through the pinwheel forest and head to the field of rumination.
We met up with Varision, who took the five minutes to also capture the last new location we're going to. The exit for this section will be route 17 and route 18. If we make it to the end of the route, we can collect the hm for the waterfall but also enter this house at the top of the cliff if we talk to this trainer. They will offer us an egg that we will have to hatch after riding the bike for a while. The egg will turn into a larvesta. Now it's time to do some more work, as you can probably see that this section will be the shortest. leveling up section we've had so far and I'm personally okay with that considering everything we've been through, that being said, all of the encounters we have to train for are at a significantly high level so this section still requires quite a bit. bit of effort when it comes to encounters, the level 30-33 audino can be found in the dragon spiral tower.
If you try this in the winter, you'll have the best chance of finding them at level 90, worst case scenario, if you don't like it. You can most likely always train at the last location and still get a lot of experience, no surprise, Mian Foo was by far the easiest for many reasons, obviously a lot of that is leveled, but having immediate access to the power palm and drain punch makes this nearly unstoppable thing against the average autonomous jump kick also available later, but generally these are the two moves you'll use the most after just over 30 minutes of grinding.
Myanfo evolved into Manchow Axey. It was also a very easy Pokémon to train. and for most of you, that shouldn't come as a surprise, the moveset you start with is possibly the one you end up with, as the dragon claw slash and fake punch are extremely useful both in and out of the game. fight, the battle part is still an arduous task. but once you get to the first evolution, you can probably do this blindfolded after an hour and a half of grinding. Axu evolved into Fracture and then into Haxorus. Aside from the fact that Larvesta hatched from an egg, this Pokémon was by far the hardest encounter to finish. which is in the slow experience group, needs a whopping 250,000 experience to level up and a decent amount of that experience is spent grinding it with shared experience.
Another problem is the fact that it only learns one move every 10 levels, but luckily most of the moves like the bug sting and flame charge are useful in battle because I knew the experience would be ridiculous if Larvesta managed to knock out a Pokémon on its own. I set up a little hack to take advantage of it. I set the samurai to be short enough. one level to be knocked out by one hit, but I also use a fake hit, so in case Audino uses knockback, both Pokémon will faint and only Larvesta will gain experience.
Fortunately, it worked after a couple of tries and yes, that's a lot of experience. After about two and a half hours of grinding, the larvae evolved into Volcarona, bringing the total to 114 Pokémon and all the Pokémon available before the seventh batch. Once we defeat Bryson in the gym we start to really get into the story with Team Plasma as a group of story events located in the dragon spiral tower once we are allowed in we can counter go to the first few two floors before the observation ends, summon the legendary Pokémon at the top of the tower from here we can take care of all the events that take place in the relic castle before we can access more encounter sections.
If we return to Icarus City and proceed along Route 8, we can fight Bianca and meet Gettsys on the subway bridge before finally reaching some important parts of our challenge on Route 9. We can catch Pontiard, who completes the penultimate location of this section. Once we get to AppaloosaCity, we have to deal with a few more parts of the story before we can embark on our own journey because this is the home of the eighth gym. We don't really have access to many more areas, but we do have one more location we can visit, although the east one is completely blocked off.
We are free to head north to Route 10 to grab the last Pokémon for this section. Here we can take buffalo and rufflin, which brings us to 118 Pokémon, now let's take care of the leveling process. If you thought the last section was simple, I have good news for you. In total, we only have three Pokémon to evolve and they are all pretty easy. To complete when it comes to fighting Audino, we can find higher levels on route 10, but in turn the encounter rate drops to 80. Personally, I think the dragon spiral tower is a little better, so I chose take less experience for more consistent encounters.
It was by far the easiest Pokémon to train and although its moveset is quite questionable, it was enough to make the dynamic hit pretty easy, it is definitely the best move, but due to its accuracy and pp, you will probably use the magnitude la Most of the bulldozer time or tm you get through the story also works fine after about 30 minutes. Gaulet evolved into Goler Honey Yard, as expected, he was very easy to use from the start, taking two metal claw stabs and safety, but much of his power simply. comes from its questionably high base attack, you have a pretty large amount of power points to work with and considering you resist literally anything the autonomous system throws at you, you really don't need to visit the Pokémon center too much after about an hour and a Half Pawnee already evolved, the bisharp flyer was definitely the most difficult due to its experience gear, but all of that is made up for by its very strong moveset.
If you trap below level 41, you will be able to use Lace Aerial Slash and Aerial Slash to sweep your encounters. You'll start off with a pretty high level advantage, so it won't be long before you can make quick work of your encounters after a little over an hour and a half or so. Evolved into Braviari, this brings a total of 121 Pokémon and all. You can get the Pokémon before the 8th batch, so if you're familiar with the previous challenge teacher I've done in the past, you'll know that the next section tends to be the pre-elite 4 section, since you basically have access to all the areas. .
For now, the only encounters between now and the later game are the ones you can find in Victory Road this time. However, since there is a Pokémon you can collect after defeating the elite four, technically before the postgame there are two final sections. I'm going to group them together for this, but you should be able to figure out which Pokémon I'm talking about once we defeat Iris's Dragon Pokémon team. We've collected all eight badges and are ready to take on the elite four while we're at it. Leaving out a lucid

professor

from the city, Juniper, he will give us the master ball that we will immediately use to take care of a special Pokémon.
If we return to route 7, we can now activate the scene with the roaming thundurus that allows wandering. around the region until we find it, after going in and out of the routes for a moment we can quickly find one and add this piece to the total. Returning to the story path, we move along route 10 and have a few quick battles for its rivals before reaching the gates of victory path, this will be the only new location for this section, since we have visited literally all the others locations that are currently open at this point in the game, if you go around inside and outside, we can catch them.
Heatmore Durant and Dino bring the total to a whopping 125 Pokémon. As we get to the top of the victory path we can take a side path to another small location in this area, we can enter the test chamber that contains our final Pokémon for the victory path. tarakion with a couple of dust balls we've collected our last Pokémon for this section, which means that luckily Dino is the only Pokémon we're going to have to level up at this point, although the section may seem a little daunting because Dino will finally evolves at level 64.
It's really not that difficult with the initial moveset giving you dragon pulse and crunch dealing massive damage, but you'll probably favor crunch due to your higher attack stat once you reach your first evolution in the level 50, it won't really matter what you use at the end of the day, after about two and a half hours of grinding, Dino evolved into z lists and then into hydragon, this gives us a total of 128 Pokémon and all the Pokémon available before Of the elite four, as everyone knows, there is one more Pokémon we'll have to catch before tackling the post-game, which means we'll have to assemble the dream team.
To challenge the elite four because there are so many high level evolutions in this game, we can form a team for one time to cover as many times as we can with our dream team. We have no problem defeating Chantal Grimsley, Caitlyn, and Marshall, which brings us to In the final section of the main story, after Anne defeats Alder and builds her exploding house around the Pokémon League, we can venture into the area. to try to face it. After reaching the upper floor, we meet him and summon the other. Legendary Pokémon Zekrom, although it looks like it might be a difficult Pokémon to catch in the box, legendaries aren't a big deal, so with a few dust balls we've caught the final Pokémon before the end of the main story, at this point the only.
What's stopping us from completing the main story is defeating all of Team Plasma, so with our newly acquired legendary and the rest of our powerful team we've built over our long journey, we defeat N and Getzes and complete Pokémon. in

or at least. At least this section of the game, but as you all know there's a bit more we'll have to do before completing this whole challenge, we're still taking on the post-game now, although it looks like there can't be many. There are more Pokémon available in the game considering that we have visited almost all the places.
I have bad news. One of the cool features included in this game is that once you complete the main story, many more Pokémon from previous generations are unlocked. game, which means we're going to have to visit a lot more areas to collect all the Pokémon we need, so instead of dragging this out any longer than necessary, let's get into a bunch of encounters. To start, let's deal with some of the fishing encounters. All of these Pokémon can be found using the standard fishing method or by casting the rod inside one of the bubbling fishing spots in the water on Route 1.
We can catch phi bass and milotic. Finneon Lumineon Sidra Horse Kingdra and Quillfish on Route 17 Chinchu in Driftfield City Dorado in Striatun City Poliwag Hollyworl and Paulie Wrath in Fountain Cave Polly Toad on Route Six Moody Kingler Clan Pearl Gorbas Love and Relicanto Disco in Rav4 barbouche on route 8 androtini and dragonair in the dragon spiral tower this brings the total to 152 Pokémon, if we return to Twist Mountain we can talk to this trainer who will give us a random fossil every day. This can be a bit annoying because you will surely get reps, but After a little work, we can get Ammonite Kabuto Aerodactyl Lily Anarif Kranidos and Shieldon.
Now let's visit some new areas. Before Elite Four, we couldn't access basically the entire right half of the region, so let's find the long list of new Pokémon. added to this section on route 11 we can catch goldock bligar xangoose saver weasel mcberyl lapras and carvana on the village bridge metapod rapidash pinser sunkern sunflora dunsparce heracross combi vespaquin and cherum on route 12 golbat krobat tangala tangroth swellow soul rock lunatone absol driftblim staryu starmie wingle assistant corsala shelder and cloister in ralph 13 piloswine sneasel delibird jinx seal clefairy lefable ditto metang and the legendary curio in the giant abyss mantike remorade spheel and welmer in della bay trey mancino from munchlax in the city of undella jigglypuff shuckle altaria and tropius on route 14 vulpix ninetails knock towel mistreves miss maggias stantler chimecho bronzong slowpoke slow brother and slow king in the sanctuary abundant firo marowak kangaskhan pupitar and rotom through a ditto trade on route 15 raticate venomoth lydio aryados and craigatune in the graveyard sandslash onyx and clay doll in the relic castle and finally graveler lickatung sableye maw while and ryolu in the challenger's cave, this brings the total to 241 pokemon. yikes, next up are the swarm pokemon, just like the other games, the swarm pokemon changes daily which means you'll probably have to take a bit of time to meet them all here, but luckily they're all pretty easy to find with this, we can add farfetch'd run why not light up hippos stain pineco meinen sentret krogunk pucciana tyrogue paris doduo chopit yanma and manki to the total finally if we head to the wonderful Bridge.
We can buy a magikarp from this guy for 500 before starting the leveling process. We'll need to breed a lot of Pokémon, so let's take a quick trip back to Striatun City after riding our bikes for ages. We can come out of the shell. our eggs to get ratata venonat lidi ba spin iraq krikatot sandshrew baltoy geodude volbeat psyduck bidoof caterpie ponyta cherubi zubat talo drifloon swynub smoochum klepha beldum eagley buff suavloo hoothoot chingling bronzor spiro cubone and larvitar this brings our total to 288 pokemon, which is all the pokemon We may find ourselves in the final section, but if you haven't learned yet, we still have many evolutions left before we finish.
When it comes to evolving your Pokémon, you have the option of facing Elite 4 over and over again. or, as expected, fight autuno on one of the new routes personally, I decided to do exactly what I did in black and white, catch them all and work with audino on route 14 for the higher level captures, but since obviously There are locations that cover all level ranges. that you need, I took advantage of some of the other note locations so that some Pokémon could fight alone, although it's only an 85 encounter rate, the experience heals are so incredibly high that it doesn't matter too much and most of the Pokémon that of all modes you evolve, you are not at too high a level with that in mind, let's take care of the final group of Pokémon after eliminating all our remaining catches, I was able to evolve them to get the wishing money, lantern, sea king, dragonite, floating soul, sharpedo, dugong, metagross. mantine artillery celio wallrain lord whale tyranitar exeggutor wobba fat hippodon fortress ferret toxicroke mightyanna hitmonlee he on top omastar kabutops radilli armaldo rampardos bastiodon butterfree snorlax wigglytuff gyarados parasect dodrio bennett primapepe mammoswine yonmega lickylicky lucario weville and glycor this brings the total to 332 mon and all The pokemon available in a copy of Pokémon white and with that we successfully completed the Professorworks challenge in Pokémon black and white, but how did I do it?
Let's review when I finished my last evolution. I ended up with a time of 124 hours and 35 minutes, which is a little longer than I initially expected and definitely not breaking any records here, but that's normal when you take on a challenge of this size. I know some of you might bring up the fact that I didn't. Do any of the Pokémon in the white forest and there is a good reason behind that every day that the past is in the game, the white forest becomes less populated, which means that less Pokémon will appear in the area because this challenge takes a long time. to be completed unless you play literally. 24 7 By the time you reach the white forest, all the grass patches and Pokémon will be gone because you can only get them back if you connect to another game.
The community decided it's not even worth trying, so I just wanted to clear that up for everyone. Who is curious? Overall, this challenge was pretty fun to do once you progress through the challenge, but I think it's no surprise that the beginning wasn't exactly the most fun I've had playing Pokémon. I want to congratulate Wakanari. for creating the guide for these games and as always if you are interested in trying this out for yourself I have included some links in the description to help you complete this challenge in the best way possible, other than that that is all I it must be said. on how to complete the Professorworks challenge in Pokémon Black and White and that will do it for today's video.
