Jun 04, 2021
Today they are not variants, I give you the whole story of each

ghost

driver who loved comics more than I miss good Saturday morning cartoons. I'm your host eros quinones without a doubt the most requested episode over the last few months has been a Ghost Rider story and a Gohan story which we might get to in November but again it might be anyway like I said before , I put off Ghost Rider to start our Halloween themed episodes all October, but since I made you all wait for a minute, not only am I going to tell you the story of the new Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes, oh no, I'm going to give you a brief

history

of each Ghost Rider because, frankly, I think they all deserve it, jumping right into the first Ghost.
history of every ghost rider
Rider was actually Carter Slade, a western character who threw weapons and rode horses and looked like a

ghost

, hence his name Ghost Rider. The overall appearance of him actually reminds me of a Scooby-Doo villain. Come on, Tommy, I'm wrong, but Marv will change anyway. the character name for the ghost

rider

after the motorcycle riding ghost

rider

we all know and love debuted, so the original caped horse riding ghost rider is not the ghost rider with the flaming skull and the motorcycle, but still definitely worth mentioning. Now let's talk about the Ghost Rider we are all familiar with, there have been several people who have taken on this mantle within the Ghost Rider mythology, whether they are anti-heroes or simply villains, but I do my best to keep these episodes going. so as not to get too confusing, so I'll stick to the main four that I think are the most notable: Johnny Blaze, Danny ketch, Alejandro Jones, and the most current jockey, Robbie Reyes.

More Interesting Facts About,

history of every ghost rider...

That being said, let's jump into the meat of the matter with The First Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, who made his first appearance in Marvel Spotlight issue #5 in 1972. Johnny Blaze was the son of a motorcycle stunt rider named Barton Blaze, who worked for a guy named Craig Crash Simpson as a stuntman at Quinten's carnival, but after his father died in a stunt accident Johnny's world was turned upside down by the loss of the only family he had, luckily Johnny was adopted by Crash Simpson and his wife Mona and became very close to their daughter Roxanne. Long story short, Simpson crashed and then finds out that he had cancer and didn't have much time to live, so Johnny didn't want to lose another father figure and decided to do whatever it took to save Crash's life no matter the cost. , the opportunity presented itself when the devil, who would later reveal himself to be the devil.

Mephesto offered to spare Crash's life in exchange for Johnny's soul. The devil's deal also included the condition that he would one day return to collect his fee for curing Crash of cancer. Not surprisingly, Mephesto didn't keep his end of the deal and crashed into Simpson. he died almost immediately afterwards during a motorcycle accident talking about a loophole after the accident death mephesto it was like it was time to collect my fee so he declared that Johnny Blades would become his emissary in the dark hours and in the light he would would join him in Hades. He then attached the spirit of vengeance Zarathos to Johnny Blaze himself, allowing him to become Ghost Rider, as Johnny Ghost Rider inflicts pain on bad guys with penance there, but more importantly he seeks revenge.
history of every ghost rider
The second person to take on the mantle of Ghost Rider is Danny Ketch first appeared in Ghost Rider vol 3 issue 1 in 1990. This is the Ghost Rider that I and many of you grew up with. Danny is actually a long lost brother of Johnny Blaze after Danny and his sister Barbara accidentally witnessed a murder at the hands of the Death Watch, he and his thugs attacked them, they tried to escape but one of the Death Watch men Death shot Barbara in the chest with a crossbow. Needless to say, she was seriously injured. Danny tries to escape from her by hiding in a nearby junkyard while hiding from her, he sees a motorcycle there that looks new and extremely out of place with its hands covered in her sister Barbara's innocent blood.
Danny touches the motorcycle and immediately transforms into the living spirit of vengeance. Ghost Rider has gained this new power. Danny defeats Death. Watch and his men, the police show up and Ghost Rider leaves to allow the police to take his sister to the hospital. For those of you who may be curious, the spirit of vengeance that Ketch possesses was the noble Cael, who was tricked into believing that he was. an ancestor of ketch and blaze only to later find out that mephesto and blackheart lied to him again you think that would be common sense you just can't trust the devil or a demon it's not a good idea people but let's move on to the next ghost rider because we still have two more to talk about and then powers and abilities and of course reading recommendations, but are you enjoying the episode so far?
I thought they could move on. The next Ghost Rider is Alejandro Jones, she first appeared in Ghost. Rider fear in itself number 1 Alejandro was raised in a tomb in South America until he was 18 by a mysterious man named Adam and as far as I know we never get his last name so it will be Adam anyway who he saw forced to join. Johnny Blaze, the Spirit of Vengeance is our thoughts, of an undead guy who works for Adam and calls himself the Seeker. Long story short, Alexander was part of Adam's plan to remove all sin from the earth, but doing so would leave

every

person on earth with a Mindless Zombie in the end, Johnny Blaze stopped her and deprived her of most of Zarathos. .
She has all the power when Johnny Blaze got most of it back, but she still retains a fraction of Zarathos as power, but now let's talk about the Ghost Rider that's in the. currently with agents of shield robbie reyes he first appeared in the new ghost rider issue #1 in 2014, so he is a fairly new ghost rider. Robbie Reyes is a young Mexican-American who takes care of his disabled little brother while acting as his brother's sole caregiver. He is also trying to balance school with his part-time job at the auto shop and at the same time competing in street races. illegal fast and furious style, so one night, in an attempt to make a lot of money so he could move.
He and his brother, far from the high crime of East Los Angeles, Robbie participated in a street race with the stolen 69 Charger because who cares about the consequences apparently not Robbie, at least not in this case, little did he know that the car who stole was haunted by the The spirit of the former serial killer Eli Morrow, the surprising thing is that the serial killer turns out to be Robbie and his brother's uncle, so, being related, Eli's spirit became embedded in the Robbie's psyche, but he fights Eli's evil influence and uses the power of this new Ghost Rider for good with all that said Robbie is not a traditional Ghost Rider because his body is not the host of a spirit of vengeance, but instead His body houses the spirit of an evil serial killer, so he is always fighting the urge.
He kills all life instead of serving revenge, but still he finds a way to do good. Another thing that sets Robbie apart from other ghost riders is that instead of having a hell cycle like most ghost riders, he has a hell charger, which is what appears in 1969. The Dodge Charger he stole transforms and it's awesome. . I've always liked muscle cars more than motorcycles, so this is what interests me now. I must confess I'm not the biggest fan of Agents of Shield but I will say that scene where the ghost pilots flip the car like in the comics, it was amazing,

every

one has a weakness and I guess mine is an infused Dodge Charger.
Before we get into powers and abilities, this episode wouldn't be complete if I didn't at least mention that there was revenge. two to be exact, the first revenge was Lieutenant Baddeley, no, he was the head of the task force created to destroy the ghost rider, but he was never able to complete the task, he was quite frustrated and upset by this repeated failure, he turned to Mephesto and he traded his soul for the power to destroy Ghost Rider, then you have revenge's second deputy, Kowalski, he is a former sheriff's deputy who becomes obsessed with getting revenge against Ghost Rider due to a messy incident on cursed Highway 18 that involved to a cannibal who ate his hand and then after a battle with Johnny Blaze. and Danny Ketch Walski accidentally ends up absorbing some of the flames' power transforming him into the new revenge with that covered, let's get into powers and abilities.
All ghost riders for the most part have the same set of powers, so I'll just generalize it to do so. Easier being a Ghost Rider gives the host several abilities such as superhuman strength, being able to lift up to 25 tons, he also has incredible durability and has even taken hits from beings like the Hulk and simply got back up because his body tissue has been destroyed. transformed leaving only skeletal bullets and other weapons simply passing through him or bouncing off his bones. Ghost Rider's body is virtually immune to all physical injuries and is apparently unable to feel pain and survive any injury unless it is from a forged weapon.
Gosh, it also has a healing factor. Ghost Rider can instantly regenerate any damage caused by any attack, including completely regenerating lost limbs or even regenerating his skull without any pain. The next Ghost Rider can create and control a mystical fire known as Hellfire Hellfire is supernatural. Flame that envelops a person's soul but can also be used to burn their physical body. Riders can use this fire in many different ways, including projecting it from their hands, eyes, mouth, or even channeling it into their weapons, such as their shotgun and me. I can't forget to mention that he is capable of generating incredibly powerful hellfire blasts capable of causing great pain to powerhouses like the Hulk moving on Ghost Rider.
He also carries an enchanted chain that can cut almost anything and can expand in length. At the Ghost Rider's will, the next step is the penitent gaze, this gives the rider the ability to make any individual who looks him in the eyes see and feel all the pain he has ever inflicted on another person in his entire life for all eternity, yes. Let that sink in for just a second. Ghost Rider has also recently shown the ability to increase this size and lastly, of course, there is the hellish cycle of him. He can travel faster than any man-made vehicle.
He can do some crazy things like climb walls. he drives over water and makes incredibly long jumps and everything I just said about the health cycle also applies to Robbie's charger 69 as he also becomes a supernatural vehicle. Now before I give you all the reading recommendations, I just wanted to say, as always, that I know there are several elements I left out of the ghostwriter story, this is just an overview of each main rider, so maybe in I'll go a little deeper in the future by giving each individual rider their own episode, but with that being said, of course, I have to end this by giving some Ghost Rider reading recommendations.
Has Marvel Spotlight, number 5. Ghost Rider Danny Ketch Classic Vol. 1. Ghost Rider Vol. and all new legend of Ghost Rider vol 2 here we have Batman issue 8, this is Monster Men part 4. I have read the first two issues as a series so far and it has been really good so I recommend you check it out here we have Green . Arrow #8 Green Arrow and Black Canary are back where Ali's journey began on the shores of a desert island and we finally have cage number one. I'm really interested in this issue because it's being done by the award-winning creator of Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai.
Jack is writing and drawing it, so I can't wait to see this and that closes out another episode of Baron, but remember you can always like a variant Facebook page to keep up with the show, when everything related to The comics can also continue. Variant on Twitter at Variant Comics or me on Twitter at Arras underline the fan units, but I'll see you next week when I talk about all things comics: more to talk about and then powers and abilities and of course a reading recommendation on River Railroad. provide recommendations Robby participated in a street race with the #69 orange star charger.
