I must mention it. that I'm not one of those irrationally crazy Tesla fans with a nasty vanity plate as the accelerator, in fact I've only driven a few Teslas and don't hold the brand in any higher or lower regard than anything else, except friends this. It's the

coolest

car that came out this year for a little test, consider that tens of thousands of people lined up outside Tesla dealerships to reserve this car sleeping outside the dealerships like it was a Harry Potter movie w

here

was the last time that he saw someone sleeping outside a car. dealership to get a car, let me give you a hint, there is no one sleeping outside the Indianapolis Toyota when the new Highlander goes on sale and it's more that these people were lining up outside these dealerships to give Tesla a $1,000 deposit, not to be able to take it home. a Model 3 today, but with the possibility that they could bring home a Model 3 sometime in the next two years, regardless of whether you like Tesla or hate Tesla, this car is a phenomenon and that's why it's the Coolest car of

2017

or 2018, such as it is.

More Interesting Facts About,

here s why the tesla model 3 is the coolest car of 2017...

I know a little about him, but probably not as much as some. of people watching, so please don't email me and say, "Oh, the windshield breakage is actually four degrees more than what you said. I'll understand that something is wrong. I'm sure this isn't It's meant to be a perfect technical briefing, it's just kind of an overview and with that on the quirks, I'll start with what is perhaps the most interesting thing about the Model 3 and that is just unlocking the door and getting in. Now, onto all the. Other cars, you walk with a key and start pushing the button and open the doors or you leave the key in your pocket, this car you don't do any of that because there is no key, but the key is contained in an application in your phone so I have the owner's phone in my pocket I'm going to walk to the car and it will automatically unlock as I get closer Look at the mirror on the driver's side of the car, it's set to deploy when the doors are unlocked and if. look in the mirror you will see when i unlock as i walk up take a look i can open the owner's phone on my pocket mirror it pops out and now the doors are unlocked and i can get in there is no key i use at any time when you enter this car. and when you want to start and go, you basically put your foot on the brake, put it in Drive and that's it, if you want to close the doors, it's pretty simple, it's basically the exact reverse procedure, just walk away with your phone on. in your pocket and when you get far enough away, the doors lock, the mirrors fold back, which is the state they are in right now and you might be wondering what happens if you lose your phone or if you let someone else drive your car, how?
here s why the tesla model 3 is the coolest car of 2017
Are they going in? Do they have to bring your phone with them? Not at all. This car has a secondary key situation and is basically a small key card the size of a hotel room key that you can keep in your wallet and if you lose your phone or are giving a car to someone else tomorrow, just give it to them. room key and to unlock the car walk to the side, you will notice that it is locked right now because the mirrors fold it, you place the room key here. The mirror deploys and the car is now unlocked.
here s why the tesla model 3 is the coolest car of 2017
I get in, put the room key right next to the cup holders and then it turns on and I can start driving it. Now it's working. The key card does not have a small slot where you can put it. It's on your keychain but you won't want to do it anyway It's a card that fits in your wallet Most owners will just use their phone They'll keep it in their pocket Unlock Lock the doors They come and go and the phone app does that a lot More than just locking and unlocking the doors, for example, the owner can use the phone to turn on the lights in case he has lost the car in a parking lot, in case he has really lost the car, he can use the phone to touch the horn the horn you can also use the phone to open the rear trunk or you can use the phone to open the front trunk you can even use the phone to start the climate control so if you are getting ready to go to work in the morning you can turning on the climate control and having the perfect temperature when you get in the car, obviously the phone can also be used to control various charging functions and even open the charging port and close it again.
I'll show you more about that in a minute and another amazing capability of the phone app is that it can give remote access to the car no matter where you are, so if you lend your car to someone and they lose a little key card, no problem , you can unlock the doors from anywhere. You don't have to stand 25 feet away, you could be in Europe and you can unlock the doors, charge it or open the charging port if you want, it's all possible from the phone app, this is the future, this is how it should be and it means that maybe one day soon we won't have to lug around a giant keychain like this, won't it be nice to return to the charging dock?
You saw it open just a second ago and it was showing you all the things you can use the phone for, but there are about a million ways to open the charging port, all of which are interesting now. If you want, you can just touch it and it opens and you can also touch it and it closes, that's probably the easiest way. but there are several others, my favorite is that you can simply walk up to the charging port with the charger by pressing a button and then it pops open. Now when you insert the charger into the charging port the little status light is a Tesla logo and it flashes green to let you know it's charging, unplug it and it's blue, it's cool to see it change color.
The other cool thing about the charging port, when you just walk away after you've charged the car, it will close automatically so all those ways of closing it and opening it you don't even have to worry about what it's going to do for you now, speaking of that charging port. charging, one of the things I like the most is that it's built into the taillights, so you never really know it was there unless you're actually loading the car, unless you know it's now there in the back of this car and in the trunk. This is not a hatchback although it does look like one in some ways.
It has a normal trunk, although there is one. A couple of things about the trunk that are far from normal, one of them is how high it goes, it goes up to the middle of the C pillar, it's almost like it wanted to be a hatchback but just couldn't, so now the trunk It is open and there are a couple of interesting things worth mentioning inside it, in fact there are three especially notable things inside the trunk, the most unusual to me being the fact that if you enter the trunk and look up at the roof of In the trunk you'll see kind of a little clear grate there, it's very, it's almost like they put it there so people could look into the trunk and see what you're carrying.
Instead, they want to rob you. It's probably there. to dissipate air when you close the trunk because it has to go somewhere. The other two interesting things in the trunk number one is that there is a small area where you can store small items under the trunk floor and I really like the fact that they cover. About this area it lifts up so you can rest it against the roof of the trunk, meaning it's easy to close it again and, speaking of items you load in that area, look at the charger pouch and you'll notice something.
As for the charger bag, it is a kind of material that would slide in the trunk if you go around corners, so Tesla has cleverly equipped it with a velcro, stick it on the trunk and then it won't slide, you will always have your charger stuff now, since we're talking about the rear trunk, we might as well move on to the front trunk or the front as some people call it now, because there's a car that doesn't have a huge combustion engine in the front, they can put a extra. There's a storage chest up here, and it's actually not that big, but it's relatively big.
You can fit some stuff in here and there's a little exhaust light. By law all trunks must have a little way to get out of them if you're trapped inside so they can't kidnap you and put you in the trunk of this car, it's actually really cool on the front, they've integrated it into the normal light from the trunk so the trunk light comes on so you can see what's in there or You can push the trunk light and it's a latch to get out. I'm not really sure who can fit inside this trunk, but I guess they have to no matter how big the trunk is according to the regulations.
A couple of other cool things inside the trunk, one of which has little hooks for grocery bags, so if you don't want your shopping flying around you can use these hooks, just stick them in there. The other thing I find interesting is the firefighter label. This is a label for firefighters. and shows exactly where they have to cut to disable the battery so this thing doesn't explode. Now there's one of those labels on the rear trunk as well, but while the front trunk label makes it look like you can easily turn off the power. supply with I don't know, it's kind of a gardening tool in the back, you need to take a saw to the C pillar and that makes it a little more challenging so that the

model

three doesn't explode after an accident.
When it comes to closing the front, it's actually a little harder than I expected. It initially closes fairly easily, as it does in many other cars, but then when you actually close it, you have to put some force here to sort it out. to get it to close completely now before we move on to the interior of the

model

through a couple of other interesting exterior details starting with the windshield wipers, there are a couple of interesting things about the windshield wipers, one of which is that when they are in they lowest possible, almost under the hood for aerodynamic purposes, removing them from the windshield, letting the air pass over the car makes the car more slippery and increases the range, probably anyway, the most interesting thing about windshield wipers is that for To get them down there they had to give a strange shape to the bottom of the windshield.
Look at this, it becomes like a widow's peak under the hood and it's not even symmetrical, but I had to do that to find a place for the wipers to fit. Another interesting thing about model three. It doesn't say model three on this car anywhere, the only place it says it is when you open the doors, it says model three. just aluminum sill plates other than that you don't know what you're looking at in fact it doesn't even say Tesla it just has the Tesla badge on the front and rear otherwise nothing now it's time to get in .
Model three. I've already shown you how to lock it and unlock the doors on your phone with the little hotel key card, but how about the door handle? Now, if you're familiar with the Model S, the door handle comes right out. In this car I don't do that to open the door, you push the back of the door handle, the front comes out and you open it up. Actually, it is quite simple. Now I'll get into the specific quirks of the interior in a second, but I want to talk about what is perhaps the most peculiar thing about this interior and that is how simple it is when you get in this car, it's hard not to be surprised and you get into all sorts of things. from other cars and there are buttons and switches everywhere. and there's so little to this thing, basically no labels or buttons, nothing to distract you, but this is just a complete 180° turn of increasingly complicated car interiors that you might be seeing just fine, so I've shown you how to get in to the car using the exterior. door handles now it's time to move on to the interior door handles but they're not handles at all this car is way cooler than that and he said they're just little buttons you press it and the button opens the door and also opens it. open it a couple of inches and then you have to do the work from there.
Interestingly, those buttons are electronic, so if the battery runs out they won't work.Fortunately, Tesla has put a manual solution on the front doors. It's right above the window switches. and then you manually open the door in case the battery runs out. The electronic buttons don't work, but mind you, I only said on the front doors, the rear doors do not have manual opening, so you are driving your model 3 and you are in the back seat of the battery device, you will not be able to get out of the rear doors because the button doesn't work and you say you'll have to get in the front seats and use the manual release in the front now.
Interestingly, you're not supposed to use the emergency interior door opener regularly, only in an emergency, because when you use it a small morning light appears on the center display and tells you that it could damage the window edge if you do. you use, which It's interesting now to talk about the windows. I'm going to start this tour of the interior at the rear and one of the most interesting things about the rear of the car is the rear windows that roll down, but not all the way, not even close at all. Actually, it's kind of interesting.
There is still about six inches of window left when the window is fully down. Now the back seat is a bench and it folds down. If you have stuff in the back that's too big for the trunk, there are three seats back here, two on each side. and one in the center and it's quite spacious, this seat moves all the way forward so of course I can lie down but I can even sit behind the driver's seat which position I would say and it would be tight but it would be fine. I'm six foot four now, if you don't have someone in the middle seat you can lower the center armrest, it goes down pretty easily and it's like any other center armrest, it's leather, it's got a couple of cup holders, it's pretty simple .
The interesting thing I think about the center seat is that the center headrest raises, which means you can have someone in the middle and you can give them a headrest and if they're not there, you can lower the headrest for better visibility. Another interesting thing above. Each back window of this car has little coat hangers and when you push them they come out very slowly so you can hang your coats. It doesn't have those handles on the back like some cars have, where you can hang your coats instead of these hangers. they're not what you're going to use, well moving on to the front seats, we've got a few different storage areas, there's a small storage area in the center console, pretty standard, there's the cup holders also pretty standard, there's a storage area in front to the couple which was actually surprisingly deep and then there's my personal favorite which would be the storage area just below the giant center screen.
Now the reason I like this one is because it has little slots where you can put your phone and charge it while you drive. underneath the storage area that plugs into a USB so you can swap it out if you have an iPhone or an Android or whatever. The best thing about this is that you can place your phone there while driving and you will never take your eyes off it. on the road and it will charge a phone and you can use the screen for everything and then when you get out of the car you have to remember that your phone is plugged in there.
It's worth noting though that the lid is a bit finicky, it uses a The magnet stays down and if you press it too hard it goes back up. You have to close it just right for the magnet to hold it in place. A couple more things before we move on to the center screen, which is probably the most interesting part of The Car, one of those things is the hazard lights. Now I think it's a federal regulation that the hazard lights have to be an actual physical button, so Tesla couldn't integrate it into their screen, which has basically everything else, but they didn't want to clutter.
There's a simple interior with a hazard light button, so instead they stuck it on the roof, so if you're looking for the hazard lights on a Model 3, they're here next to the driver's head and on the top of the windshield. It's also interesting and that part of the screen is the levers that come out of the steering column, they have their normal function. The one on the left controls the turn signals and also controls the wipers, annoyingly it's one of those turn signals like BMW that doesn't stay in position, you put it on and then it comes back in the middle so you never know really if your turn signals on or off to the right are the shift lever, you move it from reverse to neutral to drive if you put it in park by pushing the end of the stock and perhaps most interesting is that if you want to activate the cruise or autopilot, you double tap the butt down and that turns it on.
The parasols are also interesting, you open them like any other. Sun visor, but the cover over the visor reflects this flimsy little piece, why is it so flimsy? Because it's a magnet. This way you can look at how it affects your forward visibility with the visor down and next is the climate control vent which is Another really cool thing on this car, I say vent because there's only one it's a control vent giant climate control vent that goes across basically the entire dash and when you adjust the climate settings using the screen the giant climate control event does what you tell it to, but that's not the most interesting part of the climate control vents , the most interesting part is just above the little wooden edge, there is a second grille and that is the one that directs the air, basically the way it works is that the air blows towards you when it is in its default position, it just comes out through the giant vent and it's coming towards you now, if you want it to blow up words instead of events under the board, changing its position, the secondary air vent behind the wooden panel that starts blowing up and changes direction. of the air coming out of the giant vent so it blows higher in the car this is totally crazy this is a strange solution to changing the direction of the air fan how do you control where that air comes out? why that would be the center screen of Of course, the center screen is gigantic, it responds incredibly to your touch and it's completely fixed, you can't move it and it's actually very, very stuck there, even if you want to try to push it and do whatever what to do with it.
It's not going anywhere, it's really screwed together and has amazing functionality, let's take a look first. It's really amazing how responsive this center screen is, better than any other screen in any other car, just move your finger and the map will move without any delay. or delay and of course pinch to zoom works perfectly. This is as good as the screen on the best phones. Next, it's time to cover the items on the bottom, starting with the windshield defogger. Normally it's white but touch it once and it turns blue for cold air, touch it again it turns red for hot air, the next button is the rear window defroster which of course turns red when you turn it on, then there's the heated seats icon, press once for maximum heat and press.
A couple more times to turn down the heat, the next step is the climate control which is incredibly easy to adjust and when you turn it up to the maximum you will be amazed at how much air comes out of that giant center and then it feels like a hurricane inside this car just listen for a second what those weird icons are on the side of the climate controls, that's the position of the center vent, it moves around the dial and it moves around where the air comes out on the driver's side, but the coolest part is if you press this little icon, it splits the air outlet and now you have even more control over where it comes out.
Of course, you have the same functionality on the passenger side, meaning you can have two air vents for the driver and passenger, or three or forward if you split the air vent. Vents, the next buttons are pretty simple, the music icon shows the radio, the phone icon shows the phone controls and of course the volume turns up which is a bit annoying. I think we would all prefer to have a traditional circular dial on the left side. On the screen you have the gear you are in on the warning lights and that is also where the car shows the speed you are traveling on the turn signals.
Please note that it is not directly in your line of sight, you can also use the left side of the screen to open the front trunk, push it and it opens or to open the rear trunk, likewise, push it and the screen opens, It's also another place where you can open the charging port, although it conflicts with the trunk which you can't open. the charging port if the trunk is open when the trunk is closed you can use the screen not only to open the charging port but also to close it and when you do something with the charging port it will show the current charging information of the car which shows its reach. allowing you to choose the percentage you want to charge and providing a scheduled charging option to allow you to take advantage of lower energy rates at night, also on the left side of the screen, swipe and you can find the wiper controls there on the left.
Shared stock with the turn signal, but you can also turn the wipers on and off using the screen, but the most interesting element is the button at the bottom left as it shows the car's settings, this is where you do basically everything, from In fact, this is where you turn the headlights on and off, it's also where you do something really cool, adjust the mirrors and steering wheel. This is by far my favorite element related to the center screen. Now, when you get into the car, you will notice that there are two small wheels. the steering wheel controls the volume of the track, that's probably what you think, but in reality they control a lot of different things depending on what you're doing, if you're on the stereo, yes they can control the volume of the track, but if on the car settings, they can control, for example, the movement of the mirror, move the wheel up or down and adjust the position of the mirror.
Move the small control left or right and also adjust the position of the mirror and of course. the control on the other side of the steering wheel adjusts the other mirror and it doesn't work there look at this put it in steering wheel adjustment mode and those little wheels adjust the position of the steering wheel one of them tilts it up and down the other telescoping it forward and back and yes, as I showed you, the school wheels go up and down, of course, they also go from left to right and they feel very high quality, they don't feel like they're about to fall off. moves or something, you have to admit this is a lot cooler than the volume button on your car's steering wheel, back to the center screen, there's no switch for the dome lights, instead you turn them on and You turn off right here and they respond quickly to whatever you want. setting up the next interesting cockpit is for driving and we should talk about the little setting for creep, creep, it's one of the most interesting things, now that you know how in your car, your automatic car, when you let your foot off the brake, it rolls forward . kind of nice on this car that it's configurable, you can turn it off and then it won't go forward or you can turn it on and then it will go forward like a typical automatic car.
It's something you can change. You can change everything about this car. There's also an Autopilot tab for Tesla's automated cruise control system that lets you set your following distance and there's a safety tab which, interestingly, is how you normally set the handbrake - you won't need one , of course, but it is on. a big hill, you also use the screen to open the glove box of the car, as for the buttons on the top, use this one to lock and unlock the doors. This is the home link linked to your garage door opener and it is aware of your location, meaning it appears. as you enter your neighborhood and feel like you'll want to open your garage door, the last item opens up some model three easter eggs, my favorite is the little drawing program that allows you to paint a nice picture while driving down the street. street, the other interesting one is the planet, push it on the image of your car, it turns into a rocket, push it again and it becomes a car again, another interesting thing on the screen, when you put this car in reverse, obviously, the backup camera. above that's not particularly interesting, but check this out when you get really close to something, it not only starts beeping or shows you with a little red and green how close you are, but it tells you the exact number of inches away of something you are.
You can perfectly park this car in your garage exactly where you want, so that's all the interesting quirks and features of the Model 3. It's surprising how many interesting features you can pack into a compact little sedan.medium size and now it's time for me to do it. do something I know thousands of you are waiting for the chance to do I'm taking the free model on the road I feel like the coolest guy in California right now and this is the kind of place where people are going to recognize this if I was In Texas, people say it's just a Tesla, but here everyone knows the differences, everyone is really obsessed, they're really obsessed, so I'm going to move on, okay, wow, that's pretty quick, let's do it again.
Wow, you know? I drive a lot of fast cars and you know it's not like a Ferrari, but there are two aspects of that speed that are really impressive. Number one is obviously that it doesn't make noise. I mean, it's amazing. You put your foot to the floor and you don't hear anything. The other is that you put the pedal to the metal straight away and you hear it's amazing how fast it happens from things that feel reasonably fast but it's still a heavy car that has to get going where it really feels impressive is when you're going.
At 40 and you put the pedal to the metal, that's where this car is. I think I'm really going to take over BMW and all of them, just those cars have to go down a couple of gears and the engine has to rev up and this thing, you know, you're going 25 26 27 28 Wow, okay, one of the things about What people who have driven this car have talked about is that the center screen obviously occupies the spot where the gauge cluster is, so when I look straight ahead it doesn't show the speed. I'm going to have to look to the side and I find it a little disconcerting.
I think you'll get used to it, and it's worth noting that while it's been a big deal, it's not that weird for Saturn. Ion had the gauges in the middle, the Nissan Quest, the BMW z8, they're not even unusual performance cars, so this isn't the first car where people have to look towards the center, but of course I'm used to it to look straight ahead and I find it a little unusualnow the owner tells me the most unusual part is the turn signals, the speed you get used to quickly and it's like in your periphery, it's a pretty big font and it's right there , in the top corner of the screen, the problem is the turn signals and I can totally see that when you put the turn signal on it's not flashing right in front of your face, it's kind of off to the side and it's a pretty small little indicator that shows that the turn signal is on and then I have to remember that the signal is on the steering, it is quite precise, it is interesting, it responds very well the moment you start to turn the steering wheel, the car starts to turn, even like a lane change or something, and as a result it's very predictable it has a very linear steering feel it doesn't have any link Center vagueness the moment you start turning it it starts turning so it's not like you know your grandpa's old Lexus where you can move it an inch in either direction and nothing happens, it spins pretty fast.
I will say it's very light steering, as is the case in most modern luxury cars, you know, it's not a sports car in that sense, the steering is designed, it's kind of over-assisted designed to do that. It's easy for you to turn I've changed the steering mode to sport the moment you do it, you can feel it's heavier, it's still responsive as immediately as it was a second ago, but it feels instantly, it feels heavier, no, it's still. It's not a heavy sports car, it's not like it's driving like a Miata or something, but it feels like it's tight, it's very quiet, obviously, I mean, it's an electric car, it doesn't have an engine, but it's very quiet. when you're stopped now you hear outside noise you hear other cars passing by it's not bad it seems normal I think the number from zero to sixty doesn't tell the whole story I think the speed really comes when you're going 40 and you get it, that's where you really get they kick if you're in a Model 3 and you approach a guy in a 340 I at a stoplight, you won't beat him, but if you go 50 probably the right quality looks normal we're on a tough road here it's not dramatically comfortable.
I think it looks a lot like a C class or 3 series. The owner tells me this car is 18. The inch wheels are the upgraded wheels and the 18s are supposedly more comfortable, but I don't think it's that bad. I mean, if you're used to driving small 3-series sports sedans, that sort of thing, I think you'll do it. I find it normal, one thing I think is important to note is that there are no creaks, rattles, movements of things inside the car. I don't hear any of that, obviously there is a lot of concern involved about the quality of these cars, we all know that.
Some of the early You know yes, they are quality problems. Actually, I'm not referring to this. This sounds and feels like any other vehicle, any 3 Series C-Class you'd buy off a production line. Visibility is actually quite good. The mirrors are either normally shaped or a little lit, but they show exactly what you'd expect. so you have a lot of visibility from the front to the back, I don't see any visibility problems, obviously this one has this giant panoramic roof, so you can see in all directions in terms of the width of the room, obviously I'm six foot four and so people always email Maskull, I tell you and how do you fit the news into this car.
I fit very well, it's completely comfortable and normal. My knees have a lot of room. I have a lot of space. My legs have a lot of room. Headroom. I have six inches or 4 inches or something above me in a glass ceiling. You know, I wasn't expecting anything crazy. Ultimately, this isn't some weird sports car that's kind of a pain to get into. Now it's one of the things that impresses me. The thing about this car is that it looks a lot like a normal car, which is the point. I think at Tesla you can get all these cool things and you can come out of the future with propulsion, but you don't have to do weird things. commitments, you know, I'm sitting here right now and looking at the thing, it's 271 miles so far, that's a long distance, you don't have to do weird, weird things, like knowing there's a hump in the back because there's some battery.
Situation: It is not a craft, this car is well designed. I think it's a huge compliment that I can pay this car and I feel this way, is that it is a car and it feels like a car that I would personally prefer to have geared directly in front of it. me or at least this one like the mini so Mini has all the things in the middle but then it has a little speedometer and a couple of other things right in front of you and I would rather not love having to look all the way I think it makes it a bit more challenging I feel pretty safe oh wow Wow I mean I didn't really slow down it was a 90 degree turn but with a bit of the old I didn't.
I actually slowed down on mine, took it to 30 or 35 miles an hour and it felt great, the tires didn't go loose and it didn't feel like the tall car that I think it looks good on. I'm going to use autopilot. I'm on the worst road with the worst lane lines. My autopilot isn't exciting anymore, right, everyone gets paid. It was about that and I saw it. He is spinning and losing his leg. These lines are horribly painted, but it's a tannery, better than I expected. I think he is doing a better job of keeping it within the lane lines than Maryland drivers.
I'm also surprised by the build quality. I think it's pretty good. You know there's a little, there's a little problem with the fit of the panel between the driver's door and the pillar. I mean, there are little things here and there, there is a little bit of wind. ROG. I'm especially a little just putting on the steering wheel, it has some plastic. It doesn't look so good Mercedes has this very nice steering wheel and the ship looks like a performance car or a luxury car or whatever, but I think these are minor complaints and I think the complaints I have about this car are outweighed by the benefits, I think the people who made reservations and gave those thousand dollars, and my theory is that they could get one of these at some point.
I think they will be happy with what they are getting and they are. the new Tesla Model 3 I don't care if you like Tesla or if you hate Tesla and I understand many of the arguments on both sides, but you have to admit that this car is a sensation, it is absolutely the most anticipated and coolest car yet to come . In

2017

, I flew across the country just to drive this car and check out its quirks and features, and now to give it an excellent rating, starting with the weekend and styling categories, the Model 3 is attractive, but I don't think than anyone.
I would consider it magnificent or beautiful. It is perhaps a little more attractive than the average and gets an acceleration of 6 out of 10. This is the long range model which is an upgrade and goes from 0 to 60 and in 5.1 seconds the base model will do it in 5.6, the 5.1 second figure gives this car a 5 out of 10. Handling is good, pretty impressive, but 6 and up is sports car territory and it's not up there with light steering in a big four-door car to get around, so which gets a 5. out of 10 below is a cool factor and this one shouldn't be in dispute if this car showed up at your local Cars and Coffee people would say which law firm and Moffat see one of the world's first model threes and gets a nine. out of ten, the same as the Lexus LFA, one less than the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Doge score is dynamic and I suspect this number will change as production of the model three increases and they begin to become more common, since in importance it is not as high as cool. factor, but this is one of the first electric cars with these kinds of numbers that is within reach of normal people, the base model will go 220 miles for $36,000 and for nine thousand more, the long range will go 334 miles, which It's an impressive figure, it's a great deal in the automotive world, then it gets an 8 out of 10, bringing the total score for the weekend to 33 out of 50, then for the daily categories starting with features, the model 3 is loaded with stuff but some things are still delayed as far as I know it still doesn't have a traditional am/fm radio which is supposedly coming soon with an update but this car is the future and it feels like it and it gets a 9 out 10 in terms of comfort, it has a good and solid ride, not like an ultra A high-end luxury car, but a luxury car according to its price and that gets a 7 out of 10.
Quality is a delicate point. The interior is certainly not up to BMW or Mercedes level, especially that relatively ugly steering wheel, but the build quality was not. As bad as I expected the first year of a new model from a new company. I give it a 6 out of 10, but if this car proves surprisingly reliable, I might say practicality is next up in the 3 model. 14 cubic feet of cargo space would give it a 5, but the fact that it's all-electric and long-range easily raises that number to a 6 out of 10. Finally, there is value in the Model 3 is a strange proposition: it reaches from 0 to 60 inches. five point one seconds, which puts it just below a BMW 340i, but it's five grand cheaper, but the interior isn't as nice as the BMW and the model 3 doesn't handle as well, but the model 3 has more technology, more cool technology and The model 3 is the most attractive new model, still the top level model three with all the repairs will cost between sixty and seventy thousand dollars, that is a lot of money, so the value cannot beat a 7 out of 10.
If we add it all up, the total daily score is 35 out of 50, putting it near the top and making it the highest car in its price range, add it all up and the total score obtained is 68 out of 100 , which is by far the best score so far for a car at this price level, it is true that some of the points are due to its cool factor at the moment, so it could drop a little, but it is still a Solid figure with good performances in both the daily and weekend categories, which makes sense, this is a great car in every way.
