HELLCAT REDEYE VS DODGE DEMON

and in today's video I'm going to walk you through both cars and I'll tell you differences and similarities in both cars, so here we have the Dodge

demon

and damn, I can't read it. So right off the bat, the two differences are the hood, you have two hood vents here and here you have a huge one and also something else. You may notice that here it has the SRT and here it has the SRT and the Hellcat logo.

They both also have the same front lip, so these two cars are quite similar, but they do have their differences. The Hellcat Retta makes 797 horsepower at 707 lbs. feet of torque and the devil makes 808 horsepower with 717 pound-feet of torque and with race fuel that equals it to 840 horsepower where the Reta is at 797 with 91 and but right I can't take race fuel , you have to tune it. red eye and changing the PCM to take race fuel like hell in my opinion red eye is really a detuned demon honestly at the end of the day there are some differences that we'll talk about in a moment but it really is a detuned demon so let's start with the red eyes here you have 300 five five around and then when we go to the demon it has 315 around it has drag radials literally front and rear where here it has the front Pirellis and The worst tires ever you could put on a car, but literally the first car ever made that comes with drag radials all over it, literally hell, they're the first to do it, just look at it, they're so incredibly aggressive they also have 18 inch tires. wheels where the red eye is on 20 inch wheels then the devil is why the body and so is the red eye but the red eye could get an option without it where it is not a wide body and that will probably make it around from $7000 cheaper because the wide body kit with wheels and tires like another 7,000 dollars on top of the price here is the demon logo it's literally a demon and all bright red and then the red eye is here it's basically a symbol of Hellcat with a red eye right inside Look at that so when we come back here there really isn't much difference other than these are 305 and these are 315 and these are drag radials and these aren't so there's also this spoiler that you can get with the Red.

I use it like it's different from the previous Hellcat and then the hell it comes with this spoiler that's basically like the Healthcast spoiler and it says SRT here and then here they don't really put SRT because it would be weird. put it anywhere because you see it's tilted down so you would have to put it here and then no one will be able to see it so now I'm going to show you the inside of both cars my red eye is pretty similar. hell because of the options that I have like the Alcantara package so they're going to look pretty similar so let's get into the hell as you can see it's got leather and then an Alcantara all over here and then here you have the Laguna. leather with the demon logo and then you have the suede insert here you also have the Alcantara steering wheel and another thing is the dashboard, it is white and it rates 200 here, so let's look at the demon options here you are going to drag the options that it has. race cooling line blocks ship flight launch control pump here it says activate launch control and then you guys drag mode okay you have custom mode and then you have auto mode yeah those it's the three modes you have in this car so when we go into the red eye you guys I got leather here and then Alcantara here and then the same thing again I got the Laguna leather here and then the suede insert also says SRT and then the Hellcat logo and I also got the Alcantara steering wheel because that's the package I wanted and then If you look at the dash it's red and then in the red Hellcat eyes it says 220 so the readout options you have the custom sport track automatic and then the race options right here you've started the race cooling line lock with shift light pretty much like the demon so now let's see what's under the hood of these two bad boys so here we have the demon with the right eye.

Let's start with the demon first, as you can see, it has the demon logo here and then it's all red if you can see it there. It has a red block, that's how you can really tell the difference between the demon and a normal Hellcat. You have the entry here. You have the air catcher, as you can see, it goes directly to this here and then it says air catcher here and yes. That's it, you have 808 with 93 840 with race fuel, but now let's move on to the red eye, it's going to look pretty similar, so here you have the first red eye right there and then we have pretty much the demon intake and then here.

It's kind of like the air pickup, except it goes to these two vents and then you have a green belt and then if you look closely, there's the red block because this is exactly what's in that, literally, you have the blower from the devil, you have the devil. The engine of everything that's on the block, everything that's in that car is here in the red eye, literally everything, so that brings us to the question of what are the differences between these two cars. Well, there are some. First, the demon has drag radials. around 18 inch wheels so obviously the 18 inch wheels that will help you look better than the 20 inch wheels also have demon springs that basically transfer the weight to the rear where they might pop a wheelie.

Also the demon comes with a box with a different PCM, a different tune that you could run on race fuel, the red eye doesn't and also I think the suspension on a demon is a little different than where it is. makes it run with the nine and six that they claim to run, which really doesn't happen much. I rarely saw anyone get nine on a stock everything, most people who did had to literally change the wheel placed on the back and then push on the skinny pants and then they could run. like a nine nine, I haven't usually seen them run between 10:00 and 2:00 at 10:00 five literally consistently, that's what they've really been running on race fuel, the demon also has a trans brake so you can load more on the demon so you can launch it that's why it launches so hard where the red eye doesn't and then the demon claims 965 to 140 miles per hour and then they claim the eye Rojo serves from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. 131 miles per hour, but a friend of mine just did a 10-5 on the track while fully fueled, as you can see, that's pretty close to what demons do without race fuel, but now I'll tell you about all of them. the similarities they share is literally a long list of similarities they share, so the demon has 25 major component upgrades over the regular 18 Hellcats and then the red eye has the exact same engine as the demon - it's a 6.2 Hemi liters with a 2.7-liter supercharger, the demon and the red eye have 14.5 psi or lose 3.9 psi at launch and up to 55 percent more torque through the torque reserve.

They both have srt power coolers and Ron after coolers which basically cool the car using the AC unit as well. has a 15% stronger chef heavy duty steel bracket also has a 41 spline half shaft that is 20% stronger both have a heat treated cast aluminum drive housing that is 30% stronger both also have two dual stage fuel pumps both also have a high torque converter both come with 8 speed automatic transmissions the demon comes with a 309 rear gear ratio and the red eye comes with a 2.6 or rear gear ratio 309, depending on which one you want when the option is available the demon and red come with line lock launch control electric power steering torque reserve the demon has four-piston Brembo brakes up front while the Reta has Brembo brakes six-piston in the front, the reason for this is that the smaller wheels that come on the Demon the Demon also has a lightweight demon-specific suspension with a unique geometry with extreme strength racing hardware, which is what makes it run the good second stroke that they claim it does, so now what we're going to do is spin both of them. from them we're going to hear the differences if there's a difference in the way they complain, the way the supercharger complains and then I'll show you how the exhaust sounds on both cards.
