the

glock

g43x

mos let's check it out guys when

glock

introduced their

g43x

it quickly replaced my g43 definitely 10 rounds in the magazine it's a little longer but still more capable so one of the things about this little gun is that it is so slim and it is really easy to

carry

. At the time I was

carry

ing a glock 19 so this really brought it down quite a bit and still had enough capacity where I felt I was confident but now they have introduced the g43x with the mos. and the mos version with optical

sight

s, i mean, that's where a lot of guys go not only for self defense but also for competitive shooting.

It's very easy to see that dot instead of trying to line up the

sight

s, so it's quick. It's actually a little more accurate, this really gives you a lot of options, plus they added an accessory rail which is one of the things the g43x needed and so being a big fan of the g43x I needed one of the versions more. touch with glock they sent it for this test and evaluation and I am going to buy it of course the g43x and this is the mos version that has the modular optical system there is a plate here you can remove it and put a micro red dot on it which is something that many shooters have been doing because the red dot is very easy to pick up and you have one aiming point instead of having to align your sights for two aiming points, it makes it a little more accurate.

glock g43x mos model sight ready carry...

I would suggest you train with it though because it takes some getting used to but that's one of the things a lot of pistols have adopted this style mos or this adapter plate where you remove the cover plate something about the g43 x . It doesn't have adapter plates, but there are a number of optics that fit directly onto it and allow you to co-witness with its ten plus one sights in the magazine. It has the standard glock 10 rail loader with the orange follower and then. the gun is unloaded so this gun has the ndlc coating, it has front cocking serrations, it has an accessory rail which the original g43x g43xs didn't have so it's a nice addition and yet it's still pretty close to the frame in fact here is one of the original g43x and you can see there isn't much difference between the two and that's great because this is a concealed carry option now otherwise it's pretty much the same firearm just It has the MOS version, the grip is very pleasant.

A lot of times glocks have a very thick grip and this gives it a very nice thin grip again, very similar to your g43 and here we have the g43, it's a six plus one and then we have the ten plus one, it comes out as you can. You'll see a little more, but the slides actually switch between the two. You can place this g43 slide on the g43x and vice versa. We've done this several times and of course we have the g48 which is a bit longer. slide and barrel now the barrel is 3.41 inches long it is the glock aiming barrel this particular one has the standard polymer sights for glock but you can get night sight versions and you can change them out.

There are a lot of different accessories for these guns. one also has a kind of beaver tail coming out as you can see and that's the same with the g43 and g42. Now you have the magnetic release here, but it can be switched to the other side, of course, you have your safety here. with the trigger and you have that little blade that protects it so unless your finger is directly on the trigger it won't fire the gun and one thing is they also have a firing pin locking safety here and they call this a pistol sure action and It's safe to carry guys, just keep your finger off the trigger on any firearm you have, but the texture is more subdued than on many of the larger frame glocks, but still has a really solid grip, but because of that.
I have added claw grips to my standard g43x and will probably add claw grips to the g43x mos, but this is a very thin concealable pistol. One thing about this particular gun is that compared to the g19, which has been one of my favorites for years and This is the mos version, you can see, obviously, we have a red dot here. RMR the slides a little longer, but look how much thinner. Same with the g26, much slimmer profile slide so it will be a little easier to conceal. carry and it has about the same grip we have 15 and one here with the g19 we have 10 in one but it is a very thin and very concealable firearm, it is six and a half inches long, just over five inches tall and it is pointed. eight and seven inches wide now I'm going to install the micro red dot.
It doesn't come with adapter plates, but the red dot I purchased will fit directly onto the rail. I chose one of Ritton's tactics. This is the x3 mprd. These are pretty reasonable, it's an aluminum site, but before we do that I want to talk a little bit about the 10 round capacity that we have here and the reasons why they came out with this gun. p365 and you can see this is a 10 plus one and I know I've collected a lot of weapons. I've double checked and double checked the uh to make sure they're downloaded, but here you see it extends considerably beyond ten. plus one ten plus one and this one actually has slide xl.
I know I was changing things up and I thought I had my standard p365, but the important thing is that this here makes it smaller and also makes it smaller. front and in fact they are almost identical to the long sliders, so with the standard p365 it is a little shorter with the slider, but the grip can really be hidden, so when I bought my p365 I ended up carrying it for a while, I know. Sig had some issues so I put it back in and guys I was carrying the glock 26 which is a 10 round subcompact very similar to the 19 it's practically cut off but it was 10 plus one 10 plus one even with this plus . an adapter plate so I actually have 11 plus one on the g26 the only thing is it's a little thicker and I've been used to carrying this one for years but one of the things is the thinness of it made it so much easier to carry, but then the arrival of the Shield Arms s15 charger really changed everything for me.
The 10 round magazine was great, but because it is polymer there is no real way to make it thinner, there is no way to get extra rounds in this magazine. The shield arms came out with the steel mags and we have 15 plus one so when I put this mag in now I have 15 plus one pull out my g19 and honestly they both have 15 plus one I have a little more time. Slip on the g19 and the grip is the same but the thinness is incredibly different and that's one of the great things about this - it's much easier to conceal than the g19 so once that happened I started carrying the g43x as my option. concealed carry piece and I've been doing it since it's very easy to take a 15 plus one in this size and there's nothing even close to that on the market even the sig even with the longer magazines it's still a 12 plus one. but i'll be honest, i carry the sig p365, especially if i want something a little deeper, i carry a little smaller.
The only thing about the g43x is that the grip is a little longer and sometimes that's a little more. It's hard to carry, especially for me, to carry the appendix, so if I have appendix, I carry my p365, but I usually carry this strong side around four o'clock and as far as holster options, I will tell you that I have I've been carrying this stealth rig vent core and uh this is a super comfortable holster to be able to carry around and the mos would probably struggle with this but I'm sure they'll make some that fit the mos

model

and that's one thing .
If you want to be careful guys, when you have holster options, if you are going to put a micro red dot on your firearm, you need to consider that sight now, to me the gen 5 trigger has been improved over the gen 4 and gen 3. Let's just take a look at it, I mean, it's still a polymer striker fire and sometimes the triggers are a little soft. We've taken a little bit of stacking here and then the break reset. there check the trigger weight with our Brownells Lyman trigger gauge five pounds five point nine ounces five pounds point three ounces of course we have the Ritton x3 tactics mprd this is a micro red dot.
I got it from Big Daddy Unlimited and myself. I think it was like 150 dollars, it was very reasonable, but here's the site, it's all aluminum casing and I really like it, so let's try this and see how it works now, unfortunately, here on YouTube you can't show the installations but I'm just going to tell you how to do it, just remove the plate and then two screws are included that will fit flush with the slide and you don't really need adapter plates and I thought that was pretty cool. Guys, if you want to see the installation, we'll have it on gitzone.com and you can see it there, so it'll be pretty simple and straightforward now that we have the site installed.
I love that it really fits with the slide and allows you to co-witness your sights, they are very low on the site, but there they are now, let's go ahead and open this site and see if we can get it. I have a very bright red dot trying to focus on it, it's not that big in real life. Now I just want to check a list of sites that work with the g43x. Most of these are red micro dots and really thin lines. Again, Ritton x3 optics, this seems to be working very well. The protective sights make the rmsc, which is an aluminum body, and then they make the smsc, which is a polymer body, and then also the Swamp Fox Sentinel.
Now they all seem to fit directly you know into your slide and therefore no adapter plates are needed with the sig romeo zero, from what I found they said the screws may be too long so you need to get the screw correct and those are aftermarket also the trijicon rmsc which is what i have actually been. Thinking about it, you have to have an adapter plate and that will raise it a little higher above the slide, so I personally may reconsider because I like the way it fits on the slide. I want to thank Fioci for sponsoring the ammo. all made here in the USA, one of the largest suppliers of ammunition in the USA, good clean burning stuff.
I also want to thank the Lula chargers who make life so much easier. Now, taking this to the range, it was no big deal, we knew what. I was hoping we would shoot the g43x, we put thousands of rounds through it, I carried it every day, but I wanted to see how it did with the red dot and guys, it was just this is a great little optic, we'll do more testing until now , so I don't really want to recommend it yet until we get more ammo through it, whatever optics you put on it here, it's just a great shooting gun.
The g43x has really proven itself and so I like the fact that it is a bit larger. in your hand to some extent because it shoots like a full size firearm, but it's very thin so you feel like you really have a good grip on the gun. um, you know, of course, we've al

ready

done our full review here and Again, I'm going to get claw grips to put on here just because the g43x and g48 frames are a little more slippery than your standard gen 5 frames. I'm not sure why. They decided to do that, but it's still good enough, but I really like it.
I have that extra with Italian grips very easy to shoot firearm with the red dot just ties it all together. I love that it sits very low on the slide so I can access my sights in case I have any kind of problem with the red dot. that's pretty important and then I don't have to put up sights with a suppressor, which I honestly don't like because it just sticks out and it's a point where I can pick something up, so I really love this combination. now for the disassembly we're going to drop our magazine, bring it back about an eighth of an inch, grab these two tabs and pull them down at the same time and then pull the trigger and the slide will come off.
This is a new gun. and I actually got this from glock uh they're really hard to get right now so I was really glad they sent me this for this review and here's the shooter barrel of your glock again it's 3.41 inches long and then we have our slide. and we have our standard copper. You know, this lube always has this copper in it when you first get it. This is where the firing pin block is, so it will prevent the firing pin from firing unless you pull the trigger. Here you can see the frame. and many of you have al

ready

seen this guys, that's all you need to do to reassemble the field strip, just put it in reverse order, put on the barrel recoil spring and the guide rod, this dual captive guide rod will really help control recoil too.
Put it back on your test slide to check its function and we are good to go as far as the price goes these are the same msrp as your glock g43x. You can usually find them in around the 500 range during normal times right now in 2020. It's very hard to find, but that will give you an idea of what to expect if things ever go back to normal. Now guys, there are several different self-defense options. You know they have their p365 which really was a game changer with a much smaller 10 round pistol so you have the Hellcat Springfoot gun shop which has 11 rounds again a much smaller pistol those are great options and if you want to have that extra capacity and I think that's what a lot of people are doing, they like it. that smaller size but still has more capacity than a single stack with the glock g43x, you have its 10 round magazine, which gives it a decent capacity for one of these pistols, but it isYou know a little more here, but for the that use glock this is really a great option and again i have been using the g43x for quite a while but a lot of that has to do with the shield arms 15 plus 1. mags but it's still 10 rounds it shoots like a full size gun which will give you advantages over the sig or hellcat which has a little more muzzle movement and to me this feels a little better in your hand as far as shooting goes.
As far as concealed carry and making it really small, you know it's hard to beat the p365 or the Hellcat, but as far as being able to hit your target, it's also a consideration to be able to take it out and just enjoy shooting it all the time. the scope and of course we all have our different experiences and our different ways of shooting but I really like the g43x, I like the way it shoots, I like the way it feels and of course adding that mos option here is really what I was looking for. because it's cool to see that with the glock guys, to be completely honest, it's very difficult for me to pick up my glock g19, which has been my favorite glock of all time when i have the shield arm magazines on these g43x rubber dummies mos. one of the best training tools on the market and you get ten percent off using the zero zero suit when you click the link below in the description be strong, have courage, God bless America, long live the republic, which is just a plate, here is an Adapter, take this off my glock 19 because it would hold 50 rounds, I have 50.
This will hold 50 rounds, people and the mos version, which is a sighting system of modular optics, no modular optic system that goes down to the range, it's not a big surprise that I've been shooting glock g43xs for so long, but one of the things you'll notice is that it's not that long, which means that the sighting system modular gives you a modular sighting system, modular optical system, the g43x mos, the mos is for the modular sighting system and it's not sightings modular optical system, stupid, it's okay, just calm down, calm down, it's for the micro red dot , it is a micro observation system, right here modular observation system, it is the modular, citing something.
