Gen Z vs Millennials

We are not aware that Generation Z and Millennials have caused this huge discussion online and when I say Generation Z and Millennials I mean some Generation Z teenagers and a lot of older Millennials and today we are going to address a lot of that, but first I want to Talking about what a millennial is and what a generation is, a generation zero, a generation, it's just a generation z, that doesn't make sense, which is why the Pew Research Center defines a millennial as someone born between 1981 and 1996. now, generation z on the other side goes from 1997 to some approximate period like 2012 to 2015.

Dividing groups of people into generations can have many uses. You know, you can see economically how some generations that are born at the same time do better or worse than others. You can examine how a certain generation responds to a historical event that is new versus perhaps an older generation that has experienced more things. I really hated that and it's for a couple of reasons, I think before I criticize I want to emphasize that this is not Gen Z and Millennials at war, but rather a select group of older Millennials and a select group of young Gen Zers arguing with each other. yeah like everyone is arguing, so essentially there are teenagers who criticize people between 20 and 30 for the way they dress, which is like for those teenagers, everything goes in and out of fashion, which you think it's cool right now it won't be cool in 10 years I remember once when I was a kid when shorts that stopped below the knee were a must.

I saw a picture of my dad when he was a teenager and I asked him why your shorts are so short that they look so weird and he said no. I didn't know it was a style back then and I thought I was wrong. Turns out he was an idiot kid, so the most embarrassing thing is the older millennials who feel insulted by this, why do you care if a 15 year old thinks you're cool? This is so embarrassing, oh my god, why would you give it a your time has passed? You're not 20 years old anymore. You can still be cool and older, but you can't be the generation that's doing cool things.

I definitely think the shaming comes mostly from people who are upset by the criticism from millennials, so I guess it's the millennials, but I don't want to say it's the millennials because they're not, but all the statements I'm seeing from the generation Z criticizing millennials are like baseless and weird and it's again, it's like everyone you know is a millennial me, you know, who is also a kim jong-un millennial so how could you say yes Do millennials wear skinny jeans?

I don't think any of us do, but that's probably all we gen z jake pauls and gen z, you know who else is in gen z kids, do they have much in common? Well, probably yes, mentally, probably yes, so essentially I think my take home message is if you're a teenager. I feel very, you know, angry about this millennial Gen Z stuff, a change of style, you get less cool as you get older, your peak coolness is in your mid-20s and then it's downhill after that, I have a sister who is older than me, I'm cooler than her, sorry, it's just the fact because I'm 24 years old. and for my older millennials, this small fraction reacting this way is enough, it's humiliating, you're an adult who cares, they need to go to study hall.
