gen z vs millennials...

Dividing groups of people into generations can have many uses. You know, you can see economically how some generations that are born at the same time do better or worse than others. You can examine how a certain generation responds to a historical event that is new versus perhaps an older generation that has experienced more things. Listen, I'm not a scientist, so I can't tell you all the good apps, but I can tell you it's not your star. sign, it's not a personality chart, I can't think of a bigger waste of time than arguing about who's cool and who's dumb between two generations and we'll get into that, but I just want to say real quick that I think Maybe I'm a one of the best people to make a video about this because I was born on November 28, 1996 which means I was a little over a month away from being considered generation Z and I think especially people born in like 96 97 I don't really feel involved with this millennial gen z war that's going on online because it's like I don't know, I have things in common with you two, this seems super weird, so it seems to be a big point of contention. between generation z and millennials is that generation z says that skinny jeans and parting your hair to the side instead of down the middle are no longer cool and there are a lot of older millennials who don't seem to like that, so I want introduce you to an older millennial reaction to this criticism you've been getting hey generation z you can suck it you can't tell me what to wear because I've been rocking this side part since you had Kermit in your underwear it was so cute and you can get these tight jeans off my cold dead ass, hey, so generation z, you can't suck it, you can't tell me what to wear, oh, you guys look grumpy, you should take a nap, ah, that hurt me physically, like that What the hell do I really do?
gen z vs millennials
I really hated that and it's for a couple of reasons, I think before I criticize I want to emphasize that this is not Gen Z and Millennials at war, but rather a select group of older Millennials and a select group of young Gen Zers arguing with each other. yeah like everyone is arguing, so essentially there are teenagers who criticize people between 20 and 30 for the way they dress, which is like for those teenagers, everything goes in and out of fashion, which you think it's cool right now it won't be cool in 10 years I remember once when I was a kid when shorts that stopped below the knee were a must.
gen z vs millennials
I saw a picture of my dad when he was a teenager and I asked him why your shorts are so short that they look so weird and he said no. I didn't know it was a style back then and I thought I was wrong. Turns out he was an idiot kid, so the most embarrassing thing is the older millennials who feel insulted by this, why do you care if a 15 year old thinks you're cool? This is so embarrassing, oh my god, why would you give it a your time has passed? You're not 20 years old anymore. You can still be cool and older, but you can't be the generation that's doing cool things.
You don't even have to give them away. teenagers but people in their early 20s, so it's already beyond humiliating that she made this song, um, but especially something like when she said the line since you had Kermit in your underwear, how cute, I love those muppets, but they're not a big thing with generation z you know, I'm sure there are people from generation z who love them, there are two of them, everyone loves Sesame Street, but Kermit is not even my generation, maybe not even the 80s, it's like the 70s and 80s, this generation from someone from Gen Z, hopefully they'll say: Hey, you're 30, that's a little embarrassing, right?
Maybe we shouldn't. I have this argument oh, generation z is still mean to us, what do millennials do to you? school shootings yeah, I don't care about the skinny jeans or the aquiline side part Sandy Hook that's you that's your generation that's your trend whoa what's cool, especially this This argument is not only extremely disrespectful but beyond stupid. First of all, what you first mentioned happened in 1999, which means it would be the first possible year in a millennium in which you criticize a generation for everything bad they've done to you. I need to realize that I don't claim other millennials because they are literally everyone in a certain period of time, they are everyone, so there are millennials who are my best friends, there are millennials who are the worst people to ever walk the earth, like this that brings everyone together and unites The horrible things that happen to your entire generation are so weird and tribalistic and strange, it's like these are very tragic things that happen and what makes you frustrated with who, what are millennials, who is the enemy here.
You know, millennials have a lot of nerve to log on. this app talks about generation z this app we let them be on when we're doing the job you were supposed to do baby you all were supposed to save the climate by starting revolutions and what did you contribute a trade to mumford and sons? brewery on every corner a fucking reboot of every 90s movie because you wouldn't shut up when you said you missed so much when they weren't even good in the first place, you peaked when you were eight so this person seems to be from the generation Z but a little older which confuses me as to why she is so irritated with millennials because I'm sure the people a couple years older than her that she knows from school are millennials and the funny thing about what she said is that everything was bad, it's not that fun, like everything is bad, let's start with generation z, allowing millennials to be on tick tock, millennials are the age range for tick tock, millennials are the ones who created these apps and, again, not that I'm giving him credit. to millennials because that's everyone, if you're in gen z you don't let someone be into something that they made that seems simple when we're doing the job that they were supposed to do, baby, y'all were supposed to they were supposed to save the climate by starting revolutions and what did you contribute I was at least longer than some people from generation z and I don't remember a prophecy that said that millennials were supposed to start a revolution or save the climate we want to try to appoint 20 senators who are millennials name one there is a millennial senator yeah so there is a millennial senator and he just got elected so those are two things that are wrong so all the final things that she lists are things that would probably be gen x because millennials They cannot afford it financially. open a craft brewery, so if you take a moment to think about this battle, you see the seams and everything that everyone talks about and really, both sides like it, why are they so angry?
What did each side do to him? I don't understand why we are so angry with each other. It does not make any sense. There's a really interesting section of this battle and it's people my age who aren't sure how to feel. It's real, that's why people get confused when you say, hey, Gen Z is criticizing millennials, but I don't feel like that's me, it's because everything is made up, it's just that we pick a year and everything is made up, so does it. I delayed Making this video for a day and I'm not happy I did it because there's one more addition that I'm reacting to and I'm not happy about it.
I want to start by saying that I apologize for showing you this. but we gotta show it so here we go what's jinzy trying to cancel eminem generation z is trying to cancel eminem honey that's cute listen kittens let me make this pretty clear, this man was around before you guys were even here, so what are they doing? Everybody crazy 'cause the man was a lyricist while all your rappers are muttering gibberish so I hated what would make someone do that, why would someone do that? Who? Why do you have blind loyalty like this towards Eminem?
He doesn't need you. eminem it wasn't like he didn't know what to say to generation z would you mind picking this up sarah the bad thing i made up a name its sarah her name is cassie so she was away i just want this to stop before it gets become more shameful. I definitely think the shaming comes mostly from people who are upset by the criticism from millennials, so I guess it's the millennials, but I don't want to say it's the millennials because they're not, but all the statements I'm seeing from the generation Z criticizing millennials are like baseless and weird and it's again, it's like everyone you know is a millennial me, you know, who is also a kim jong-un millennial so how could you say yes Do millennials wear skinny jeans?
I don't think any of us do, but that's probably all we gen z jake pauls and gen z, you know who else is in gen z kids, do they have much in common? Well, probably yes, mentally, probably yes, so essentially I think my take home message is if you're a teenager. I feel very, you know, angry about this millennial Gen Z stuff, a change of style, you get less cool as you get older, your peak coolness is in your mid-20s and then it's downhill after that, I have a sister who is older than me, I'm cooler than her, sorry, it's just the fact because I'm 24 years old. and for my older millennials, this small fraction reacting this way is enough, it's humiliating, you're an adult who cares, they need to go to study hall.
Still and you're worried about what they think about the clothes you wear, stop it, stop it now, it's very embarrassing, so thank you for watching this video. I also mentioned it in my last video.
