Fresh & Clean Makeup // PAINTEDBYSPENCER

Jun 05, 2021
Hello, welcome back to my channel today with me. I have a fellow

makeup

artist who I connected with on Instagram. She sent me a private message and we decided to create some magic together and complete a

makeup

look. She is absolutely stunning. Her name is Ono y. Because my last video had such a dramatic look, I decided to do something a little more toned down, keep as much emphasis on the skin and keep it

clean

and

fresh

, and pair it with a really easy and achievable eye look. This is really great for any girl or boy who wants to get out the door and wants to have a defined makeup routine that's really quick and efficient, so if you want to know how I created this look right here, keep watching, so to get started , using Fresh Beauty's Rose Deep Hydration Oil Infused Serum and I'm applying it on Ono's face using a makeup wedge.

I'm using a broader stroke because I'm not looking to apply a lot of this, just enough to hydrate the skin and prepare it for the product I'll put on top of it once I've applied the serum evenly. I'm going to use the too faces born this way matte foundation in the golden beige shade and apply it to the skin. Now it wasn't until after applying the serum that I chose to use this foundation and it's important to mention this because normally I wouldn't apply a foundation that has a mattifying formula on top of an oil or serum based moisturizer because we all know that oil and water They just don't get along well and when layered it can sometimes cause the foundation to separate, like if you mix oil and water they separate, but I used a very sheer layer of the serum and I really wanted to try this foundation.

More Interesting Facts About,

fresh clean makeup paintedbyspencer...

I was also faced with sending it to myself and thought let's try it and if things get worse we'll

clean

it up and start again, but luckily that wasn't the case. case, now that I've applied this to the areas I want coverage, it's time to move on to the next step, which is to bring back the contours of your face, so for contouring I'm using Huda Beauty's Tantor and Contour Cream in the light shade. and with the smaller face brush I'm going to start pressing it into the cheekbone area, as I said at the beginning of this video, I wanted to create a really

fresh

and simple look, not necessarily transformative, but just an application that accentuates the natural beauty of our model. features as well as the base, I am not going to use this contour cream much, other than trying to give the illusion of different features.

My main goal with this cream is to bring dimension back to her face and tan it a little as well as cheekbones. I'm also applying this along the perimeter of our model's forehead along her jawline and towards the sides of her nose. , although I want it to have a really soft look, I keep in mind that a lot of this contour is going to need to be blended, so I apply just enough to make sure there is still products in place after blending, but not too much where it starts to look heavy, also whenever my client or the person I'm doing makeup wears a top that has their shoulders exposed, I always apply the product there as well so that the shoulders are cohesive with the sun-kissed look I created in the face once we have placed the contour cream where we want, it is time to start blending.

I'm going to go back to my beauty blender and starting to blend the cream, I know a lot of you enjoy watching this blending process so here it is, okay, so once we have the contour blended out, I'm going to start highlighting using too much face to be born this way in the nude tone. and start with concealing and highlighting under the eyes, you'll notice I'm working in sections so once I have the concealer on I immediately start blending it out before moving on to another part of the face and as a random fun fact, this final The look ends up being probably my favorite makeup look I've created for my YouTube channel so far, which is a little strange given that it's such a simple look, but I'm really happy with the result.
I don't know that I'm a little hard on myself when it comes to makeup. I wouldn't say I'm a perfectionist. I'm just never satisfied with my job. You know what I mean? I'm sure you must be satisfied. To be someone who is watching and can relate at least a little bit, but this is probably why it took me so long to start YouTube. I tried to start a couple of years ago. I filmed over 60 tutorials and I wasn't happy with any of them. so I saved the footage to the archives and put youtube on the back burner and when I started youtube a few months ago I promised myself one thing and that is that no matter how the post turns out, it will go up, jesus take the wheel.
It's all or nothing and it's been one of my biggest personal breakthroughs but I say all that to say that um well I don't know where I was going with that I don't know I'm rambling so embarrassingly um Oh yeah but I love how it turned out this look. Well I'll stop talking and just see how it blends on you guys so once I've blended the concealer and hidden the blemishes a bit I'm going to use makeup forever hd loose setting powder to set everything this is one of my go to setting powders favorites that I use as long as it's used correctly because I know a lot of people are worried that they might have a flashback with this powder, but that's only if I use a lot and bake with it, but you can tell I'm not using a lot here, in fact , I'm barely using anything.
I'm going to use such a small amount of this, just enough to get the results I want, which is a set, matte base that I can apply bronzer and blush over without it skipping and looking cloudy. Now that the makeup is set, I'm going to use the Fenty Beauty Island Tang bronzer to give it a little more. dimension and color in the areas where I had previously applied the contour cream and, like the previous steps, I am not sweeping or dragging this bronzer. I'm using more of a stippling motion and a pressing motion with this brush because I don't want the bristles of the brush to leave a mark or remove any of the foundation, especially since it was only set very lightly with powder, so I'm being very careful with the next step for blush.
I'm using patrick toss double take cream and powder blush. the shade is a fat girl and I'm working this on the cheeks for a look like I'm doing today. I really use blush because I want it to be the focal point of the face. The blush of bright cheeks I also tend. use a lot of blush because somehow I find that at the end of the makeup application the blush always seems to disappear for me, but at the end of this application you will see how beautiful this blush ends up soaking into the skin and As you can see, I am applying this blush on the eyelids, down the neck and shoulders and a little behind the ears to highlight.
I forgot to take the photo of the product. Sorry guys, I was wrong, but what I end up using is the glitter. Becca skin perfecting highlighter in the shade opal. I'll link it below along with everything else. I'm applying this to the high points of Ono's cheekbones along with the center of the Cupid's bow of her nose and a very light amount on her forehead. The advantage of working with matte foundations and powders is that they can really help blur the appearance of skin texture, such as pores and blemishes, and then trick the eye into appearing like you have glowing, healthy, texture-free skin. , you use a product. which reflects light like a highlighter and I apply it to non-textured areas of the face to get the best of both worlds.
I'm also placing this highlighter on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten those areas we're coming back to now. to my setting powder with an eyeshadow brush, I'm just sweeping it over my brows and what this does for me is it completely mattifies the hairs and the skin under the brows, so when I use an eyebrow pencil, The pencil actually adheres to the skin, so it dispenses more pigment; otherwise if I don't set my brows the skin will remain slippery due to the foundation and moisturizer used and then I won't get any color from the pencil because it will just slide off. skin on top of skin, I don't know if that makes much sense, I hope so, but the brow pencil I'm using here is from Covergirl in the deep brown shade and I'm slowly working it through the development of the brows.
To increase the color and shape I want, I'm speeding up this part of the footage just because it's a little tedious and time consuming, but I still wanted to keep the whole process here so you can see how I build the eyebrow once I've created the shape. which I like the most. I am going to strengthen the color of the eyebrows using a dark brown eyeshadow. I generally prefer eyebrows to match the color of a person's hair roots, so you can see that this eyeshadow definitely helps thicken and deepen the color of the eyebrows. to match her hair and then every once in a while I take the spoolie end of my eyebrow pencil to apply the product, so I did the other eyebrow off camera and now I move on to the eyes, the first pigment I'm using. on the eyes is the same Fenty bronzer that we had used on the face before.
I'm lightly covering the upper eyelids with this. I don't want it to be strong or intense, I just want it to be a light wash of color and Also bring this bronzer to your lower lash line and smoke it lightly next. I'm using Lorac's unzipped eyeshadow palette. I know it looks broken. I literally dropped it right when I was taking it out of the package and yeah, the rest is history. Using an angled eye brush, I'm dipping the brown shade into the palette and creating a soft winged liner. Now I know that one of the main requests I get from you is to show you how to do eyeshadow for hooded eyes or how to make eyes look bigger with makeup, which I considered doing to our ono model before I met her and believe me, she does A year or two ago I would have already used a dramatic eyeshadow to create a deep crease and maybe added shine. and thick eyelashes, but I've grown in the sense that I don't feel the need to always do dramatic transformations to prove myself if that makes sense.
By the way, here I'm using the palette glitter to place it in the center. of your eyelids, so like I was saying, for anyone watching who can relate to me with what I was saying, know that I've learned that having moderation and having an eye to know when to stop and put down the brush is in itself a talent. a skill that took me a long time to learn one that I am still learning to this day because you know I love full on glamor but there is a time and a place for everything and when this day of filming came and I met her for the first time, I I knew and didn't want to go overboard with her glamour.
Her eyes, in my opinion, were the most striking and beautiful features of her face. The shape of her eyes says a lot about her. and her identity, where her culture comes from, so why would she want to create an eye shape that makes her look like any other girl? You know what I mean and yes, one of these days, I will be creating a tutorial for hooded eyes soon. ways, but damn, for today it's my channel and it's my name in the marquis, so I'm doing what I want, I'm so dramatic and I'm ranting again, okay, I move on as I talked and talked, I applied the lashes. what is raquel beauty's moonlight style raquel she is an amazing makeup artist and she just launched her own lash line and they are all so beautiful.
I'll link their site below so you can check them out and then I followed up by using an eyelash curler which really helps blend the strip lashes with her natural lashes and now I'm running the Urban Decay Perversion mascara through her top and bottom lashes. Our model barely has any lower lashes, so I dip back into our brown eyeshadow and sweep it along. lower lash line to give it a little more dimension now that we have full eyes, I'm wiping away any product on her lips and then I apply a light amount of setting powder and this just helps with how exactly the liner is applied of lips concept of mine that I was explaining before regarding eyebrows with a morphe eyeliner in the crushed shade.
I'm going to start lining her lips. I opted for this shade because it's a little darker than her natural lip shade and I felt like it was the perfect lip color to top off this look. I'm focusing this product more towards the edges and leaving the center empty. I'm not actually going to wear lipstick today, I'm just going to follow it up with a gloss for shine. and the final step of this look I am using a lush lip gloss in the shade Dolly. If you've seen the video I posted of me doing my makeup, you already know my love for this gloss, I use it on myself all the time.
They're really good guys and they know it's not really my style to offer them products if they like something great if they don't make it great, but really, although this gloss is where it's at, it's a must have for anyone, just try it and be thankful. Later, but this, ladies and gentlemen, is how we transform our beautiful model into a full-fledged covered girl, where are we going, children?
