The next question is what type of computer you need, a Mac or a PC, it doesn't matter, the software runs the same. We are using 2020 in this course. 2021 is just about to go well so anything above that kind of time period will work perfect, anything that's pretty old like cs6 you'll just get to the part where it says fix audio okay there's a button and you're not going to be able to do it, you'll have to figure out how to do it on the older version, so maybe an older course for CS6 might be better for you.

Well, let's talk about the hardware where you will need some minimum requirements. terms of your computer or desktop it's ok to run premiere pro it's quite stressful on computers ok so the best way to do it is to switch all the time so google the words premiere pro and

adobe

system requirements will tell you what the minimum and recommended requirements are. They are fine and the closer you are to what is recommended the better, the faster it will run, the minimum it will actually run, you won't have any problems, but it will be painfully slow. Now a frequently asked question is what happens if I am below the minimum.

I have a very old and poor quality laptop, what do I do? It probably still works. I don't know how old and crappy yours is, but I know I have a PC back there. My Lenovo. Let's get started, a question that frequently arises is what is the difference between Premiere Pro and After Effects. If you already know the answer, you can skip this video if you are not sure. Stay, basically, Premiere Pro is video editing and After Effects. special effects, so premiere pro would be something you would use if you're making a how-to video like this, okay, if you're making a commercial, a documentary, a feature film, I can't think of anything else, but that's all it has to do with taking images from a camera is generally fine and making cuts making transitions doing some basic color corrections fixing the audio and then sending it merrily after effects on the other hand it's about motion graphics and kinetic type and if your logo needs to spin and spin and catch on fire for no good reason, that's After Effects.

Premiere Pro does a lot of the simple things you want to do in terms of special effects, it's just the more difficult things you might have to skip.
