about everything new and exciting about Lincoln. here on Mitchell Lincoln Boulevard, so this is our flagship sedan, one that I love to drive, so I can't wait to jump into this, let's start from the front.

I'll go ahead and tell you that it has rained a lot. and the pollen was already coming out, so I went and hosed it down to make it

look

a little wet, but other than that, this is the beautiful front, the throwback of a generation of the Continental, this is

2020

and I think they're going to build this. for 2021 I don't know if it will be a model year or just a toning down of this model, but this is the preorder so you can see the standard 19 inch wheels that have black accents or dark satin accents. I think they are the Lincoln calls.

They're pretty smooth and really go well with the standard panoramic roof up top, which we'll

look

at a little bit more in depth in just a minute, and then the piano black accents down here, around the fog lights, of course, they have LED lights. . there and you can't upgrade them, but this is mostly standard booking. Also, underneath is the standard 2.7-liter 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine, plenty of power for this vehicle and as we go down the side you can see the probe is also standard, above the technology package that includes the 360 ​​camera, but also that probe is active Park Assist, in addition to just the proximity detection and of course, that 360 camera here is your front camera and it has a wash.

So if you have some love bugs in Alabama and Florida, it will remove that dirt and dust and hopefully keep you watching what's going on. What's pretty interesting about the front camera, that's where I'm standing here, it opens up to a hundred and eighty degrees, so for the most part you see everything from my hand forward on both sides with that front camera, so it's quite impressive and you can do it at low speeds, of course, while you are driving. Pristine white is one of my favorites. colors and I love how it pops the other one that I love is the ceramic pearl looks great with these wheels and the roof up of course as you can see this is the cappuccino inside and we'll jump to that in a moment.

I also love the use of chrome on the exterior with the emblem here also around the windows and handles or chrome and of course these are just electronic door handles, we probably remember that more from last year and the situation there also this chrome over here. and these are folding mirrors and the mirrors are quite small on this car, continuing the style there, but they also have a blind spot, so even though there isn't much visibility due to the size, you do have some extra protection in the rear . and this whole design is a throwback of course with the top loaded handles of course they have a black label with the suicide doors which is a real throwback but the long sleek body with short windows goes back to the original Continentals. when and I love how they've offered this to us in this generation and I really hate to see it go away but maybe they'll bring it back a few more years or something of course you also have the backup centered. camera, you have an easy access trunk, so it opens completely with just activating your foot and a huge trunk.

I mean, it's like I could. I have to crawl attached to my body almost to get to the back seat, so you have There's a lot of storage space there and of course for this to be our full-size flagship, it needs to have a big trunk like the one the towncar for years and years, so there are a lot of joints here. You can see that this gap is kept covered. so nothing gets caught in it and of course you have quick access to your spare right underneath here and you have a few other panels built in, you know, just to finish everything off with a very smooth, soft touch and additional storage right here and you also have these tie downs and both sides there if you want to hold those things and then you probably saw it before, but it's a center step, but this whole thing slides back, if you notice how it opens up, it's almost all the way to the center part. there from the trunk so when you pick it up you probably won't hit your head and then of course it's convenient as the picture shows that it activates but there's a convenient button there to close the trunk so you don't have to worry. especially with the pollen at this time of year and later in the coming months you don't have to worry about it getting your fingers dirty when you close the deck lid, so the shark fin antenna is of course very black to match the bread oh and it really makes this vehicle stand out when you look at it from the profile and you know this is the Continental like I said it's one of my favorite vehicles and especially with something we're going to jump to the one option that this The vehicle has the perfect seating position, which we will look at here in a moment.

I'm going to miss this beauty, but it's something you can take advantage of now while it's still in production, so let's jump inside and take a deeper look at the luxury of this Continental. Well, before we get in here, I want to show you what this contrast looks like. Of course, we have the illuminated door sills for Lincoln and you can see that this is the perfect sitting position because you see the different leg extensions. here for the thighs and of course the headrest is also one of those and the active motion massage is available and before we go in here, this is how you control all of that here and also on the screen you can configure the seats so that you have a Couple of different options for getting around and I have everything located here so you don't have to worry about digging in there like some vehicles in the past.

I also wanted to touch on this electronic door latch here, only these are softly closed doors so you can see. how it closes itself, see if I can show you again so it closes itself and you don't have to close these doors, one of the benefits of having electronic deadbolts, but also in case the battery dies or something. that you have this version right here for the driver's door so I know that's a question that some people come across so let's jump in of course as you see on that tweeter there's standard premium sound in stock and everything It's a little long and narrow, a little compressed, you have a lot of shoulder room, but what I'm talking more about is the instrumentation, so you can see, this is not as big of a screen as we are used to even on the Nautilus I.

is standard with your active driving screen so you can see that reflection there so it's going to be reflected up there and we'll get it going in just a minute but it's all kind of a throwback you have a smaller steering wheel which of course is good for handling it also has all your controls here and this is a more traditional steering wheel than the new and updated ones that you saw on the aviator and Corsair, let's go ahead and get this going, it's that time of day where some things are going to light up because of the automatic lights, It's okay, I just want to turn it down.

I don't own the rights to that music, so it's all on LCD up here, which is cool, but you can see that all of these gauges are a little bit smaller than some of our others. vehicles, but I think that doesn't take away from this vehicle because I mean I'm back and this is an amazing ride here of course this will tilt and extend so you have plenty of room but look how many spaces there are. that passenger side and I'm sure the seats are in the back too, but I mean this is what you want in a full size luxury sedan from Lincoln - lots of room and everything is very well laid out with the console here of course the contrast colors on the top so if you did that you would know you wouldn't mark it if it was the cappuccino and of course you still have the two openings so you have the top hidden here from this handle and then this handle will open. all up and you can see the full console there also everything is covered but you have the two cup holders that are illuminated of course all this interior lighting you can customize it you can see we are blank right now so it shows up there and then this it's good for your device or cell phone and of course it opens up here to two standard USB or 2.1 USB ports and then your standard DC charger in there so everything looks great with this different type of applique with textured grain appearance and you will see. that carried over here around the seat controls and I'll go into a little bit more depth in another video on the perfect seat position, but just to show you real quick, if I were to press this button right here, I can go ahead and kill. the massage, so if I press it right there I can open it on the screen.

I can go ahead and turn it on, so I'll just press Hello. I can press up or down to turn it off, so I'm going to toggle up and rotate. that one is disabled, so now everything is disabled and I can go back and forth here. I can click to go back to these different settings, as you can see, so I can click back here and I can scroll up and down everything that I need to do right from the door so that it doesn't and it shows me so that it doesn't. I have to worry about, you know, pressing a bunch of these buttons while I'm driving down the road.

I'm already reclining a little.

There are those LED lights that I was talking about and one thing that I like and it's probably due to the electronic latch because it's also on the Aviator, but you haveyour own lock and unlock control so sometimes the back seat passenger is the last person out and they can press that lock too of course if I want to get out I can press the unlock here of course these don't they work if you have the child locks on or the window, these won't work so you don't have to worry about that, if you have kids riding in the back here you can activate it from the front.

In fact, I think I'm blocked. I just remembered I saw the child lock on, but we'll find out. Okay, also back here you have the temperature and fan settings, here are the heated rear seats. You can also control your own panel up here for these vents or in the floor and you also have USB charging back here for the rear occupants. so they can keep their devices charged and where that step is, there is the step that we showed earlier. have a full little armrest and have a little bit of storage space there.
