fireb0rn's Hollow Knight Boss Tier List

Mar 17, 2024
Hello everyone, how are you doing? God gamer, today I'm going to make a

boss

tier

list

of these 47 different

boss

es in Hollow Knight. It will include all the bosses in the Hollownest pantheon, as well as some of the other bosses that are not included in the pantheon, it will be subjective for your

list

, it will simply be based on how fun I think the bosses are personally, but I'm going to give a judgment on why I think that's the case, so I'll give some reasoning to a point, but it will also be totally biased based on my speedrunning experience, if a boss wastes time, I'm going to hate that boss so just a warning in advance but I hope everyone enjoys the

tier

list and has fun watching it so the first boss we're going to see is Absolute Radiance which is actually the last boss of the game so I think This moss is an awesome boss to play against. a boss evolution that was already pretty fun in the base game, but it was made to be a little more challenging and has basically an extra phase at the end instead of just having a promotion phase, there's like the final platform phase and I think that makes the fight that much more climactic just climbing to the top and then there's that extra phase with that special ambient music that's so awesome, this is an awesome boss and he has so many different attacks throughout.
fireb0rn s hollow knight boss tier list
The stages are unique, really cool, and I love this boss, he's okay, so next up is lost Loskin, this will be a great boss too. I promise I have a lot of bosses I don't like very much, but these two. Both big bosses are such long-lost relatives that it can be a bit trivialized by the descending darkness, but this boss is a great pleasure to fight. The fact that he staggers so easily makes the boss easier if you use a lot of spells. but the staggers also add a certain rhythm to the fight that makes it much more satisfying and the fact that there are constantly those ads that you have to deal with but that also give you soul so you can fight the boss. with more spells I think it's a really cool dynamic and the attacks the boss has are really fun to dodge in my opinion so overall the lost can is a great boss fight.

More Interesting Facts About,

fireb0rn s hollow knight boss tier list...

Well, next we have the brooding molech and I told you I'm. I'm not going to rate all the bosses on the big level, I think the haunting molech is like any boss, it doesn't really do much, it's actually just basic and where the boss is at the beginning of the game means that if you find to Birdwatching Maulik right away, then he'll have so much health that you probably won't be able to kill the boss unless you're pretty good at metroidvanias. You'll say okay, I'll just come back to this boss later and then you go back to the boss later and just completely destroy it because you know it's not very threatening, especially after knowing the mechanics of the game and knowing that you can basically just walk away from it. at any time and heal you. three times in a row, so overall I'm a little confused what this monster is for.
fireb0rn s hollow knight boss tier list
It's also kind of filler in the pantheons, but there's nothing horribly wrong or annoying about it, you just know there's not much to the haunting maulik. Well, next is Oro and Mateo. This is one of the boss fights that were added in the Godmaster expansion and I would say it is definitely a good boss fight. I wouldn't say it's any, it doesn't blow me away. anything less is fun, I like the progression of going from one of the nail masters to fighting two of them at once. It's like a really cool moment when the motto appears out of nowhere and you have to fight both of them also in the quick race it's kind of interesting where you have to focus a little more on the motto because the motto has 1000 hp while Gold only it has 600 and ideally you want to kill them both at the same time so it's something interesting in the speedrun that you have to deal with and it's just a fun boss fight overall okay so next we have Crystal Guardian and I'm going to put this on the decent level because it's just one of those bosses that's really basic and there's not much to it. but I think it has more purpose than the brooding molex, so I'll rate it higher because at least Crystal Guardian exists to teach you the mechanics of a tougher boss and that's a recurring theme in Hollow Knight that there will be improved versions.
fireb0rn s hollow knight boss tier list
The bosses and weaker versions are pretty simple and will teach you how to deal with the harder version of the boss, which is the case with Crystal Guardian, but not really the case with Haunting Maulik. Malik brooding is kind of why. Does this guy exist, crystal guardian? Although it could be, I think there could be a little more to the fight, but he's more like a side boss than anything else and in the quick run it's like he's not even a boss that you just kill. While he's still sleeping, he's been fixed in the latest patch, but it was fun to do.
I definitely preferred to kill the boss while he was sleeping. I'll say it, okay, so next up is Dung Defender, aka Ogrim, if you will. I would say this boss is a good boss, he has a lot of fun attacks to deal with, like the dung balls that move out of the way, some may find them a little annoying but I like the fact that you can cut the balls. in the fight and then juggling the boss too when he turns into a ball, it's a lot of fun to do and the fact that you can descend on the dark boss while he's underground to force him to dig up, I think that's cool too, like but. that they need to make Descending Dark more powerful, but the fact that you can do it and it makes sense is kind of fun with the boss and of course thematically the boss is really fun and cool, I love this guy.
You can't like ogrum, okay, and now we have the polar opposite of the manure defender? We go from being the nicest boss to the biggest shitty boss. I hate bosses with all my heart and soul, okay, and this is partly my speedrunner bias, yes, but even if I wasn't a speedrunner, I promise you I would still hate this boss because bosses They teleport out of the arena and just like you can't do anything about it, it's just not fun, don't do that with your bosses, especially when you're running fast and it's like no old man is doing the pancake attack again.
I guess I'm wasting another five seconds. Thanks boss. It's not great. The boss really isn't that funny. I like having to react. he teleports a little bit but I mean the fact that it's so random it feels bad so I don't like this boss he goes to the lower level okay and now we have the enraged guardian so this is the really challenging version by Crystal Guardian and I much prefer this boss because you can die to it and I like that there is a real challenge involved in this boss fight, but I don't think it deserves to be at the top of the good tier.
Put it at the end of the good level or near the end because the boss is still very basic and I feel like the double damage is like a way to force the fight to be interesting when it really wouldn't be as fun without double damage, like the fights against Challenging bosses, but the attacks just aren't that fun to deal with because they're so basic there's not much to them, but you know I have to rate them higher than glass. guardian so in my opinion it goes at the end of the level well okay next we have failed champion hale champion actually in my opinion it's a pretty good boss fight it might even be at the bottom of cool but the boss fight just has a few flaws that bother me are the fact that you can just equip a tongue twister and a shaman stone and just descend into the boss's darkness four times and then you can dream of nailing him when he's staggered and you can just beat the boss without moving your nail once and that's a bit problematic in my opinion, but if you normally fight the boss mainly with your nail, I think it can be very, very fun and my favorite parts of This fight is The fact that you can use the rocks that fall from the ceiling even when you're far away from the boss to deal damage to him because the rocks actually deal 1.5 times the damage of your nails and I think that's really cool because in the bosses you have to run. away from them to dodge attacks, it usually feels bad that you can't deal damage to the boss while running away from him, but with a failed champion you can deal damage by shooting a rock at him every time you are. ranged and I think that's really cool, other than that I think it can be a little difficult to react to the boss for some players because he moves very very fast and I know when I was running fast I definitely had trouble reacting. for the boss, but the boss is fun, I really like him and I think he belongs in the upper tier of the good tier, maybe even near the end of the big deer, okay, and next we have the baby version of the failed champion, fake night, fake night It's a little hard to judge because it's like a tutorial boss, it's almost one of the first bosses you'll fight, if not the first boss, it actually appears on the map before you even complete that part of the map. so you get to the boss very, very early and he clearly intends to teach you like you know these bosses have telegraphs that you have to dodge to get out of the way of these telegraphs because the telegraphs take so long for the boss to finish his mace and he finishes for about two seconds before swinging and the jumps are very slow so he's just meant to teach you about telegraphs and the fact that they exist, but he's the boss.
It's fun to fight him. I wouldn't say it's fun, but it is. It serves the purpose of it, so I can't really put it on the bad level, but yeah, we'll put it on the decent level. I guess also the fact that you can't get soul from the boss is clever because he forces you to have to do it. actually dodge the attacks you can't just take on the tank and then run away and heal so I think that's definitely a smart way they designed the boss so next we have a very infamous boss within the community

hollow

knight

s and uh. the boss sucks, uh, it just spawns ads and sits there and does nothing, and even the ads aren't very threatening, so in my opinion the boss has this design problem where once you get to the point at which you can shoot the ads, like once you get enough nail upgrades the boss stops being a threat completely, but before you get to that point, if you don't find the nail master and somehow manage to get there to marm by chance the boss just feels almost impossible and the reason is that If you have to take more than one hit to kill the adds it's much harder because the ads are the only threatening thing in the fight it just spawns ads, I said it, a pretty silly fight and in quick races we just killed them instantly. either using the descending dark glitch where we just yell at the boss a couple of times and he dies so this boss isn't that good so next we have gillian gillian is one of the ghost warriors that I would say It's more fun. for ghost warriors, most ghost warriors aren't that interesting, they just have these really basic, like one attack that they do, that increases as the fight goes on and Gilean is the perfect example. a bunch of bouncing projectiles that bounce around the arena and as you lower Galeon's health more of those projectiles appear, but the thing is that with ghost warriors you tend to kill them so quickly that you don't have to learn how to dodge those projectiles. those attacks before you can kill them, so you can go in screaming your heart out a couple of times and the boss is either half dead or completely dead and Killian is no exception to that, overall I think this boss is fun to dodge. projectiles, they are just ghost warriors, they mostly all have the same problem that they are too easy, okay next is the god tamer, so the god tamer is kind of interesting in the sense that there are two bosses at a time and if you kill the tamer, he doesn't disappear.
It doesn't actually end the boss fight, but if you kill the beast, the boss fight ends and a lot of people may not realize that because the beast has less health than the god tamer, it just means that you have to focus on the beast and the players may not know it. that the boss fight is at the end of Colosseum 3, which makes it seem like Team Cherry made the boss pretty simple and easy because they didn't want players to get to the end of the three call and then get killed over and over. again because that wouldn't be a very fun experience but the boss is too simple so I would put this boss on the decent level but not too high on the decent level because there just isn't much to do as the beast spits or rolls and the god tamer practically does that jump attack that's super slow and easy to dodge, so I think they made the boss too easy just because they knew it was at the end of the three call, okay?
Next we have Gorb,so Gorb is another dream warrior and in the base game Gorb actually has such a minuscule health reserve in the dash you just shadow Soul Gorp three times and the boss dies so the boss fight in reality only gathers enough soul. before getting to the boss and then instantly killing him in the base game, he just doesn't have enough health to really be a threat, but I like the way the boss fight plays out, the fact that he gets these, uh, gets. more waves of attacks as the fight progresses, I think the little needles he shoots are fun to dodge, but I don't think the boss is threatening enough and in the pantheons he has a little more health and has that arena with the pillars, so I think that's good, but I don't think the boss is very fun to play against, so I would put him above Gillian, but I can't say he's a good boss, I wouldn't say he's bad either, although he's okay, so than below.
Up is Nail Master Sly and Nail Master Sly is a good boss fight in my opinion, but it has some flaws that I think drag it down a bit, due to the fact that the boss is so mobile and likes to jump around the sand and the boss has a cool theme, all of that makes it pretty fun, but I feel like you have to play the fight super passively, just dodging every attack and hitting the boss every chance you get or dealing damage by tanking all the time and just using invincibility frames to completely trivialize the boss and that's what we do as speedrunners we just stand in front of the boss with a quick slash and just swing as fast as possible and a lot of times you get free stops and the boss staggers to that you can heal yourself if you absolutely have to or you can just like spam spells and stuff while moving for even more damage and I think it makes the boss too easy so it's a little unfortunate that the boss is vulnerable a tank of damage, but otherwise I think Sly is a fun boss to fight, okay, big prince.
He's not everyone's favorite boss. I think a lot of people rate this boss very low, but I'm actually going to go against that opinion and say he's great prince. he's actually a funny boss, it's just that the telegraphs for this boss are absolutely horrible and it's meant to be funny in the sense that oh the boss pretends to do one thing but suddenly stops and just dances. and it hits you with contact damage only, that can be a little frustrating but I think once you learn the telegraphs from the boss a little more the boss can be more fun and I'm at that point where the boss is more fun but I know most of the others.
Players aren't, so I totally understand if you think this boss sucks, but I put it on the good level. I think the Great Prince soda is fun, especially when you run fast and have to be right next to the boss to land a bish chilla and that allows you to deal a lot more damage and it's really satisfying and rewarding when you can do it casually. I don't know if I like the boss that much, but as a speedster I think he's funny. Well next we have Rue's mother or mother brute, I call her mother grass, some people call her mother cross, I think mother grass is the correct way to pronounce it.
I would put this at the decent level, but it depends a little because you have the pantheon. I think the Ascended Pantheon version is a lot more interesting just because of the spikes in the arena, some people may find it annoying but it actually adds a bit more complexity to the fight, such as when performing bounce attacks by dodging from platform to platform. other. It's more fun than just moving out of the way and never risking damage, which is the original fight. The original fight is too simple and easy, but it is meant to teach you the game.
I think they could have done it. it made Grass Mother a little more interesting even, so I'm going to put it pretty low on the decent level. Well, next we have the script for the night of the hive, which is actually a pretty fun boss fight. At first I thought this boss was a little boring, but he has grown up. For me over time, I really like the traps, like when he generates those spike-like things that shoot projectiles. I actually really like that it's really hard to dodge, but when you dodge it, it feels really satisfying and I like the fact that I can interact with them to activate them early, like if you move your nail towards those traps then you can activate them early and I think it's great that you have that option, otherwise the boss is pretty funny, has good music and would do it. put him probably in the middle of the good fight of the good deer, well, so next we have protective hornet, also known as hornet one, the first form of hornet.
I think this is a pretty good boss fight, it's the first boss fight in the game, unless you. We go to the disturbing Malik who actually offers a challenge and is fun and is kind of dynamic with hornets running around the sand shooting projectiles. It's a fun and pretty good fight. I think it's well balanced and I love doing it at any percentage. quick run because it's really satisfying to take double hits or catch her in the corner, it's a good boss fight, um, of course, once you get to the pantheons, it's a little underrated, but in the base game, Hornet One is a good boss fight, okay?
So next we have Hornet Sentinel which is Hornet Two, the hardest version of Hornet and for a lot of people this is one of the hardest fights in the game so naturally I really like this fight. I've made speed runes with this. The boss and all the speedruns have really satisfying fights to pull off so I would actually rank this above the lost relatives and you know the fact that you have to react to what the boss is doing and the fact that it has a lot of steps they make the pace of the fight really fun for me and i also like to double hit the boss with shadow soul and the speed is really satisfying or you can use the descending dark strategies to make it a little easier so It has easier and harder strategies and it's just a really thematically satisfying boss fight, the boss fight is also super cool because she's like protecting the king's mark and everything is really cool boss, I love Hornet too okay, so next we have a broken container, a broken container is the easiest version. of lost skin and it's actually deceptively a little difficult because it moves so slowly that it's very difficult to react, it has the same problem as the fake night, that the telegraphs are so slow that they throw you out of such a broken container that it's kind of For a fun boss fight I definitely put it on the good level and put it on top of something like an enraged guardian, sure there's nothing wrong with the boss, it has fun attacks to deal with, but it's definitely so slow that I feel that the boss is needed.
Go down a level once you get this, the extra speed and all, then you have a really good lost boss kit. Well, next we have Mantis Lords, so this is a good boss fight. I really like Mathis Lords, but I don't think he belongs. the big level, so it's like with a failed champion, it's a fun boss fight, but it has a little flaw in my opinion, so basically if you go into the boss fight right after they control you Mantis, it's also a bit. It's basic, but if you enter the boss fight later, after you've gone through the City of Tears, then the boss fight may be too easy because you may have a desolate dive, possibly even descending into darkness , and you have a nail upgrade, maybe two.
So depending on when you get to the boss it may be too easy or too simple in my opinion, but I really enjoy the boss, it has such a nice pace to it that it's a lot. funny, okay, next we have markov, a lot of people will instantly put markov in the bottom tier, but i'm actually going to disagree. I think markov is the best ghost warrior and the reason I think it is because markov is actually more. As a boss than the other ghost warriors, you can actually die to Markhoth much easier than other boss fights and I think that's a really good thing since the base game Markov still doesn't have enough health if you go into the fight with all your strength. resources, but I think in the pantheons, especially with the Ascended Markov arena, I think the boss is much cooler in that arena and, in my opinion, it offers an interesting challenge, so some people may find the places frustrating and I certainly found it frustrating at times as well, but just strategies like having to pin the boss against a wall and having to weigh whether it's appropriate to go in and attack the boss or stay at a distance and play a little safer, you actually have to do.
I make some decisions and I like that, so I don't think the boss is great, but I think he's definitely good. Well, next we have Marmu, so Marmu is also one of the bosses that many people would put at the bottom. and I don't think Marmou is a good boss at all, so I won't put him in the good tier, but I think he might belong in the decent tier, and it's because Marmu is at least kind of a unique boss fight that I don't think. be unique in a good way, but it's unique, so it has that unique physics where you hit it into a corner and then it bounces back and hits you right in the face and that can be fun, but the fact that it's not an experience of really complete boss makes it a bit boring in my opinion and that's why I would put the boss more or less towards the center or bottom of the decent level.
You know, I would like a boss with marble physics. that only has like a couple different attacks okay massive boss charger this boss is serious business okay he charges you he looks absolutely menacing he does everything he's just a crazy boss level bad he's okay next we have the nightmare king grimm so this is a many peoples close to favorite boss fight if not favorite and i agree this boss is really cool so i remember when it came out the shadowy troop I remember I really fought this boss, he took me like two and a half. hours to beat and keep in mind, I mean, I was already running the game at speed for quite a while, uh, and I was frustrated, I thought, how can you beat this boss?
I remember thinking those thoughts, but the boss is totally consistent once you know who he is. attack patterns and that's something that feels really rewarding learning each of their attacks and being able to punish them and also not getting hit by them constantly because that's important too, but the boss is really rewarding to learn and something that really got me. What I like about this boss as a speedrunner is the fact that you can deal damage to the boss with spells during the balloon phase, so I really like the risk versus reward aspect of dealing damage to the boss during the balloon phase and potentially going through high one phase. by dealing enough damage I think it's a really interesting part of the boss as you run fast okay so next we have no eyes or as I like to call it not fun because the boss is not very interesting or fun to play against he.
I put this boss on the bad tier, but where do we put him above the biggest? I think because he's definitely less of a bastard but also above Flukemar because Lukemarm doesn't do anything. A huge moss charger is at least a little funny. There are no eyes. He's a pretty annoying boss to play against, due to the fact that there is no progression in the fight, it's the same thing all the time and he only has a 20 chance when you hit him for him to teleport, so if he teleports every time . Just once you hit him is so irritating that I hate when that happens, especially during quick runs where you can either instantly kill the boss or just chase him for 20 seconds, depending on how lucky you are and how lucky the boss decides to drop.
You'll be that day so I think not having eyes sucks, that might be my preference as a speedrunner but I certainly can't imagine thinking boss is good ok next we have a nosq so nask when casually playing nosk only had. like two attacks that were like running through the sand or jumping and finally they added a few more attacks for nosq to make it a little more interesting fight and I think they didn't go far enough, I think maybe they could have. done a little more because the boss at the end of the day, even in the current patch, still runs up and down the arena and occasionally does spit attacks, but I'm glad they added more because The boss in the past originally I didn't have enough of it, it was just like running and jumping and that's it, you'd only get contact damage so I'd say this boss is decent, I don't even think it's fun. in the current patch, but he is better than many of these bosses, so I would put him at the top of the decent tier, but in my opinion he is not that interesting andsome of the attacks are a little confusing, like how are you?
You're supposed to dodge them like the explosion attack where he explodes with the infection and shoots those orbs everywhere. I think it's a little unclear how you're supposed to dodge it. I just go down to Darket every time and deal damage to him; otherwise, okay, next. we have ob stagger and the op levels are too basic in my opinion because they only have one attack, they just do the attack and with a timer they will like to start flying again for a while and then they will start their next attack. and that's literally all they do, the fact that there are two of them and the other one powers up and gets a health boost makes it a little more interesting because you want to kill them with about the same amount of health so the other one is in the second phase for a smaller amount of time, but other than that it's like the boss just doesn't do much and is designed like a god tamer, it's designed to be simple and easy because it's at the end. of a coliseum, so it kind of serves that purpose, but the boss alone isn't that interesting, but he's not offensive or bad in any way, he's just decent, so I'd put him in the decent tier right next to Damn, okay?
Next up is Paint Master Shio. This is a good boss. I really like Paint Master Shio. I think it might even be a little underrated for most people. It's a boss that grew on me so casually that I didn't love the boss because it was a little hard for me to remember what each attack color did, I was having real difficulty remembering it. As sad as it may be to say, but once. I practiced more on the boss and started running fast, it became a lot more fun and part of that is the fact that you can have a bish yell over the boss while he jumps over it and you can do that too.
There are also times when using descending darkness is ideal. So it's a boss where you really have to react to the different situations he puts you in and that makes it a lot more fun for me. It's also like a really frenetic pace, it's one of those bosses that you can be dealing with almost constantly. damage and as a speedrunner he's a lot of fun for me, so this is a boss that I think belongs pretty high in the good tier. I wouldn't put him in the excellent tier, but he's a fun boss. I really like it, okay?
Next we have a pure ship, this is my favorite boss in the game and it probably makes sense again for my speedrunner preference because I loved the fight in the base game and then they introduced, you know, an upgraded version of that boss. which I've already been practicing for dozens of hours for the 80 nmg speed run and it's just an amazing boss fight like the fact that you're constantly moving, you're constantly dealing damage to the boss and it has so many different attacks and the rest is amazing, it's a very good boss fight and I like the fact that new attacks are introduced into the fight as it progresses, although I think some of the attacks that are introduced actually make the fight a little easier . like especially the attack that spawns those circles you can just go down in darkness and use iframes and hit the boss like 10 times so it might be too easy and the same with the attack where it spawns swords in columns that attack.
I also hit him like 10 times because of it, so those attacks are a little unbalanced in the sense that you can do so much damage to the boss, which can be rewarding at the same time, but I think those attacks should be a little harder to hit. punish but it's an awesome boss I really like pure ship okay and next we have sisters of battle this is a really awesome fight in my opinion it has one of the best settings in the game and it just has a pacing very fun fight. and I think you'll find that most of the bosses I've ranked above are bosses that you can fight constantly, so these bosses have a much better pace where you have to constantly dodge way and deal damage to them at the same time and, That makes the boss fights a lot more fun in my opinion, where you have to dodge and then stand there and wait, I think that's a lot. less interesting but Sisters of Battle is the exact opposite because you're constantly doing something and that makes the fight a lot more fun and like I said the OST is really sick.
I love this fight okay next we have Soul Master so this is this. a soul master and this a soul tyrant because these are the images on the wiki so soul master is a fight that I found quite fun it's a pretty tense fight because it's very far from the bank like you unlock some shortcuts but you have to do it . Go all the way through the Soul Shrine to reach the boss. I think he's a really fun boss and the fact that there's like the second phase where he just breaks the floor underneath you and you don't know what's going to happen all of a sudden.
It starts as teleporting and crashing into the ground. I think it's a really fun part of the fight, but even the first part of the fight is pretty fun too. I think as a speedrunner I don't like fighting, but as a casual player I do. fight a lot because when you're rushing the fight any boss that likes to teleport away from you is a bit annoying because every time you teleport away from an attack it's a waste of time and you just have no control when the boss teleports away from you. ti constantly is Not very fun, but I would casually rate this boss pretty high and since I have good memories of him in my casual play, I would personally put this in the center of the good deer, maybe towards yes, a little more towards the top of good. venison ok next we have a soul tyrant so soul tyrant is pretty much the same as soul master it's like a harder and faster version which I think makes it more fun but it has the same problem with soul that soul master, that's it.
If you're running fast, you don't like teleports, but I happen to find the boss pretty fun and the fact that everything is faster, more frenetic, has a better pace to the fight, but the fight itself is super similar, so I think I rate the fight similarly, but I'd put this a little higher just because I prefer the higher difficulty of the boss. If we can put it there, thank you, there we go, okay, so next we have the soul warrior. Could you call? This is a boss. I probably wouldn't call him boss because he's more like a mini boss, but he appears in the pantheons, so in that sense I guess he's a boss now, if I rate him among bosses, he has to be. pretty low, so it serves the purpose of being like a filler boss in the pantheons and it's like an interesting mini-boss experience in Soul Sanctum, but I don't think the boss is very fun, I think I'd say probably above groundhog because marmou is a bit annoying, this boss isn't really annoying, but he's similar in being super basic, so I'd put him at the end of the decent tier, not bad, just not really a boss, he just doesn't really do much, okay , next we have the collector.
This one is a little hard to rate because the boss himself doesn't do much, but he spawns a lot of enemies that will annoy the hell out of you. It's smart that they didn't allow you to collect souls from the collector because if you did you could destroy all the adds with spells, but even with the way the fight is currently, you still use spells against Ads like them a lot, so if you place nails dream in the collector, the fight becomes much easier, but if you don't, the fight can be a little more challenging and I think it poses an interesting challenge compared to the other fights, it is certainly a unique fight due because you're forced to deal with the ads, but you can't beat up the Seoul boss to deal with the ads, so it's kind of interesting in that sense, but that being said, I don't do it.
I don't really find the fight fun, so I can't put it on the good level personally, since I don't find the boss that fun to deal with. It's a little awkward with the way the collector jumps and I just don't do it. I find the focus on ads to be so fun, so I'd put it on the decent level. It's still an interesting challenge, but it's not as fun for me. Well now we have the Hollow Knight, so I love this boss. I really really enjoy the boss because in the speed race it is very fun, like in the speed race of any percentage, fighting the boss is a great pleasure and the reason why that is the case is because we simply have a vengeful spirit in the shaman stone and that's it. and with that load, the boss fight is very rewarding due to the double hits because it has a good fight rhythm, you go through the phases every 20 seconds or so, it's a good fight, but most of the time you can think. with a descending maximum dark male enhancement, a bish freak shadow soul and that makes the fight so easy compared to the current patch, they improved the fight a little to make the boss faster, I think they even made the boss was too fast. so it's a bit difficult in that sense, I don't think they made the difficult fight the right way with the improvements in the current patch.
I think they could have buffed his health a bit more and just kept double damage, but maybe not. faster, but that being said, I still have a special place in my heart for this boss because of how much fun speedrunning is for me, so I'd actually put this boss right next to Pure Vessel because I know Pure Vessel is a better boss, but I have so many good memories. I have spent dozens of hours playing against dhk. It's a very fun boss fight. The fact that you constantly deal damage to him. You have punishments for each attack.
It is fun. I love it.. Well, now we have Mr. Traitor. Lord Traitor is actually a pretty good boss, now he's a lot like gnosk in the sense that they patched him up and there are more attacks, but the boss still feels pretty basic even after that and also doesn't do any of his extra attacks. Up to that point, it's still like 90 of the time doing a dash attack or a dive attack, so the Traitor Lord is still kind of a basic boss, but the fact that it does double damage makes it a bit more threatening, so he has a challenge, but I wouldn't say the boss is that fun.
I could put it at the bottom of the good tier, maybe above the enraged guardian because I think it's more fun than the rage guardian, but it's not that interesting of a fight so maybe I'm a little generous, but you know what? the bottom tier good aren't great bosses they're just bosses that you know are maybe a step above decent and I would say Trader Lord is probably a step above decent. Well, now we have the shadowy troop master. This is the most basic and easiest version of Nightmare King Grim, which by default makes it a good fight I would say, but it lacks the challenge that Nightmare King Grim offers.
I remember my casual game, I simply faced Grim and won the fight. and I posted it on youtube and I looked horrible because I was going down and people in my comments were laughing at me and I don't blame them because I wasn't. I didn't have any mastery of the fight but it was like a fun fight, it wasn't bad but it doesn't force you to learn the fight and that's a problem in my opinion, the boss is also meant to teach you the mechanics so that Nightmare King Grim do not do it. I don't like to completely overwhelm you, so the boss definitely serves that purpose and I'd say it's a good boss fight in that regard.
I'd put it here, right under my American Grim. Alright. Umu, the easiest tear of my life, that's right. worse or is it better than a massive moss charger is worse and again this is my speed run bias but umu sucks so i hate this boss in speed run because of course he can do slower attacks at chance and make you waste several seconds. For no reason at all, he can also put himself in awkward situations where it's very difficult for you to get a fast cycle and he's just not fun to deal with. It is the boss who alone takes any percentage of speed. notch and you have to learn a lot, I think that doesn't ruin the sprint and I think it feels rewarding in some ways, it definitely rewards you for your experience, but it's also like a disproportionate punishment for small mistakes, so like you can fail one attack for a couple of frames and that just ruins your entire speed run and that feels horrible so screw this boss also it just happens to not be remotely interesting, I think in the pantheon versions they added an interesting twist to the fight , but at the end of the day it's still two different attacks and most of the time you just stand there and don't get hit so I don't think it's a good boss so it goes on the bad deer okay now we have a king vengeful fly, so this is another boss, in quotes, that was added to the pantheons.
It's like a filler because I guess they wanted to fill the pantheons a little so thatthey were like a little bit meatier, but um bench fly king is not the way to do it bench fly king is kind of boring and you know it's a really frustrating boss in quick runs because you want to get a really specific boss pattern to deal with as much. damage as possible and that's not fun because you're restarting a lot of your runs with this bastard boss and coincidentally it's also not a fun boss because it's awkward because of the flying AI, it just flies away from you and to the side of the screen where it is hard to reach, so it's uncomfortable, it's not fun.
I would say that this boss is actually a bit bad, so this boss will go to the bad level if you call him a boss, I think he is like a mini boss. but however we rate it now, we have Watcher Knights, so Watcher Knights is a pretty difficult boss for most people to face because it's one of those bosses where you face multiple enemies at once and that can be really challenging, that being said, the boss has grown so much on me by doing the quick run, it's the same as when I practice the boss a lot and it's just that the quick run strategies against the observant

knight

s are a lot of fun to pull off, like getting triple hits is like dealing damage to both at once and doing everything very fast, it feels very rewarding so I would put this boss on the big deer I know as casual players who don't run fast and even probably a lot of fast runners.
You wouldn't agree with me, even in quickrunning they can be pretty good, but it's really satisfying to play against them in casual play. I think they are too easy with dark descent and a little difficult without it and shadow soul. I can also trivialize them if you use it well enough, but I personally like the boss, so I'll put him in the gray tier because you know he's on your list. Well, next we have a white defender. The white defender is beautiful. funny boss you know? It's ogrim ogram has a very funny personality and I just like the fact that you're dealing with dung balls all the time because they get shot everywhere and you can cut them up to get rid of them and that's kind of like that.
It's fun for me now, the white defenders, some of his attacks are a little hard to deal with, but it's rewarding to dodge them and go back to the boss and continue dealing damage, so I really enjoy it. This boss has good pacing. I like how when you go to the second phase you have to change how you punish the boss, like when he comes out of the ground every time and you can't trick the boss. with Dung Defender just using descending darkness, so I think this is a really good boss fight, but I don't think I'd necessarily put it in the top tier, but it's a good boss fight, I really like it, okay?
I have winged Nosq, so this is the inclusion in the pantheons that probably left most people confused. He's actually not Nosq at all, actually he's just vengefly king with some Nosk features that actually work a little better than one might expect. I think it's something like that. It's a fun boss fight but it also suffers from the flying AI in Hollow Knight but it's generally not that fun to deal with because the flying AI when it's far away from you moves closer and when it's close to you it moves away so because The way the room is, the boss will be so far away from the center platform that you won't be able to easily jump and attack them because they will be too far away in the corner of the screen, so I don't really like that, I would like the boss to be a bit more around the center platform but I think some of the attacks are pretty fun to deal with but it's not a great boss overall just because it's a bit I like a reskinned bench so I can't really put it above the decent level, but I don't think he's necessarily a bad boss, they just could have done it a little better, I think it's okay, so next up is zero, zero is a Totally pushover with his basic version in the base game, but in the Hall of Gods Zero is a little better.
I really like the ascended arena on him and I like the fact that you can pogo the swords that Xero spawns. It's just a cool thing. of avoiding falling to the bottom of the screen almost never comes into play, but it's potentially something interesting you can do. I like zero a little more than most other ghost warriors. I like sword attack and I just like dodging. out of the way, it's a satisfying thing to do, but only because he's such a pushover for the most part, I'm not a big fan of the boss, but I'd put him at the top of the decent tier and let's rate zot like that. this is the zot at the end of coliseum one because we already attacked the gray prince zot so definitely the coliseum one area and um yeah this boss doesn't have attacks or he has the dash attack, I don't actually remember it because I never do it I've done.
I waited long enough for him to attack, but you know he's not annoying like these other bosses, so do we put him on the bad tier or do we put him on the decent stag? I mean, I feel bad about putting soap on the bad tier, so I know I could technically put it here because it's less annoying than these horrible bosses, but maybe we'll put it on the decent tier just to be nice about explaining it, you don't want to do that. cry, but yeah, I hope you all enjoyed watching. making this tier list was definitely fun to make of course it's totally subjective and even now I might consider making some changes because I'm sorting things as I go so if I could edit it now I might make some changes I'm not too sure what I would do, maybe narrow down the collector a little bit, maybe now that I'm looking at it, but yeah, it's totally subjective for your list just for fun, so I hope I included all the bosses that I'm not completely sure, but I think which included most, if not all, but yeah, I hope you enjoyed watching the video.
Thank you very much for watching and have a wonderful day.
