Final Judgment Launched

May 19, 2024
well let's open our Bibles to the scripture for this morning it is the eighth chapter of the Book of Revelation chapter 8 and I have titled this

final

judgment

released because in simple words that is what we find in this text I was thinking about it even this morning that people They are so worried about what is going to happen to the planet that they are obsessed with taking all kinds of angles and supposed precautions to save the planet. What they should be afraid of is what is going to happen to them. Amen. them and that is why the word of God gives us so many warnings about Divine

judgment

, so many warnings, but this one in chapter 5 of Revelation is really the launching point of the

final

judgment on this world before Christ returns and takes over. control and govern. and He Reigns in His kingdom so this is the final judgment

launched

now we already know that once we enter chapter six of the revelation we enter the revelations that came to John the visions that came to the Apostle John that look at the future final judgment like this The characteristics of that judgment go from chapter 6 to chapter 18 and in chapter 19 Christ comes, in chapter 20 he establishes his kingdom and then in chapters 21 and 22 the new Heaven and the new Earth the majority of this book is details about the coming final judgment, this is a mercy on God's part to give us such a detailed prophecy regarding these characteristics and the details are impressive, as we will continue to see as we go through the rest of the book, let me read you the first five .
final judgment launched
Verses that will be all we can cover this morning when the lamb broke the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour and I saw the seven angels standing before God and they were given seven trumpets, another angel came and stood up. on the altar holding a golden probe and they gave him much incense to add to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that was before the throne and the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the s went up before God of the hand of the Angel then the angel took the sensor and filled it with the fire of the Altar and threw it to the Earth and followed thunder and sounds and lightning and an earthquake now a little climatic background IC final judgment that removes Satan from his place of Dominion in the world and returns that Dominion to the Lord Jesus Christ is taking place in these visions that the holy spirit gives to the Apostle John the end of human control the end of satanic control everything comes to a conclusion when the seventh seal is opened and one way to understand this seventh seal is to understand the Judgment the Bible calls the day of the Lord the day of the Lord that is a very important biblical title it is a term that describes the end of God complete integral destruction and death on earth is the end of everything before the Lord returns, which we will see in chapter 19, he awakens chaos in the world in the form of judgment, that judgment reaches its final stage with the breaking of this seventh seal.

More Interesting Facts About,

final judgment launched...

You could equate this with the starting point of the day of the Lord now that there have been judgments, we have already seen them in chapter six in the first six seals and it could be useful to return to that when the final period of the tribulation is our Lord He called him and the Great Tribulation arrives, the judgment will be unleashed and that is described in chapter 6 when the Lamb of God goes to the throne and takes the property title of the father, we see that in chapters four and five the property title of the universe and it is like a testament sealed seven times only to be opened by the air Christ, being the heir of all, begins to unroll those seals.
final judgment launched
This describes a period of time in the first half of the seven year Tribulation and the Scriptures are explicit about a 7 year Period and the second half is the three and a half year Great Tribulation period, this follows the Rapture. the church, so we are taken out and then the judgments begin, now the sealed judgments we have already seen the first four. are the famous apocalypse depicted in Four Horsemen first there will be a false peace and the arrival of the Antichrist then war then famine and then death the fifth seal is a call to revenge a call to God to bring final judgment on the world ungodly is interesting It's very interesting to hear the saints pray for that right now, instead of for the salvation of people who are lost, they pray for their final judgment and that brings us to the Sixth Seal and I want you to look at that chapter 6 :2 The Sixth Seal.
final judgment launched
I looked and he broke the Sixth Seal and there was a great earthquake and the sun turned black like sackcloth made of hair and the entire Moon became like blood and the stars of heaven fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its unripe fruits when shaken by a great wind the sky was torn like a scroll when it is rolled up and every mountain and island was removed from its places then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and the free men hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains and told the mountains and the rocks to fall on us and hide us from the presence of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the lamb for the great ones.
The day of his wrath has arrived and who is able to stand at the opening of the Sixth Seal you have the launching point of the day of Wrath that not only the Wrath of the one who sits on the throne who is God but the Wrath of the Lamb, that most interesting statement in verse 16, the final wrath is not just the wrath of God, it is the wrath of the lamb and it is designated in verse 17 as the great day of his wrath, so when the Lord breaks the six seals, we know that the great day of divine final wrath is coming and will lead to chapter 8 and the seventh seal.
The seventh seal, as we noted, describes those final judgments under the seven trumpet judgments on the day of the Lord. Let me give you a little background on the day of the Lord is a term familiar to anyone who reads the Old Testament and there are times when the day of the Lord refers to some historical judgment such as the Babylonian captivity judgment on Judah, such as the judgment upon Edom, any act of God in history could be designed and defined as a day of the Lord, a day of the Lord, a day of the judgment of the Lord, but the most common use of the phrase the day of the Lord does not look at a temporal judgment but to the final judgment and the prophets.
I have a lot to say, let me give you a very quick list of prophetic statements about the day of the Lord, this will define it clearly for you. Isaiah said that the day of the Lord of hosts will come upon all that is proud and haughty, upon all that is haughty and will be brought low. Isaiah also said groaning because the day of the Lord is near and then he said, behold, the day of the Lord is coming cruelly with wrath and fierce fury to leave the land desolate Jeremiah said this is the day of the Lord God of hosts a day of vengeance to take revenge on his adversaries Joel says the day of the Lord is near it will come as destruction from the almighty Joel 2:1 the day of the Lord is great and very terrible same chapter verse 31 the sun will turn into darkness the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes the prophet Amos says woe to you who desire the day of the Lord because of what use is the day of the Lord!
The day of the Lord is not darkness and not light Malachi writes that the day of the Lord is a great and terrible day Zephaniah says the great day of the Lord is near it hastens quickly the noise of the day of the Lord is bitter Zephaniah chapter 1 also says that the day is a day of wrath a day of distress a day of devastation and desolation a day of darkness and darkness a day of clouds and thick darkness Zechariah 14 the first verses also Define it in similar terms six times in the Old Testament the day of the Lord is call the day of perdition the day of perdition the prophets said that a final day will come when the Lord will bring his final judgment the New Testament also refers to it four times in the New Testament but I want to take you to one of those times turn to 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 Paul being familiar with the term the day of the Lord not only from the Old Testament prophets but from the Lord Himself writes in 1 Thessalonians 5 and we' Now we will only look at the first three verses as to the times and epics.
Brethren, you have no need for anything to be written to you because you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night while they are saying peace and security, then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman. pregnant and they will not escape. What is notable about this from the apostle Paul to the Thessalonians is that he says that you do not need anything to be. written for you because you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come, this is part of the apostolic doctrine and teaching, you know very well that he uses the Greek word acros, which means precisely, exactly, you know about the day of the Lord and I know it will come like a thief in the night, suddenly, unexpectedly, devastating, how do you know that?
Because that is what our Lord said in Matthew 24:42 and 43. Know that the day of the Lord is approaching. Just something to keep in mind if you return. Until chapter 4 and verse 13 you have the wonderful revelation of the Rapture of the church and it is positioned in a perfect way really because the Rapture occurs before the day of the Lord as we have already talked about many times, but listen. to what it says in verse 13 we do not want you to be uninformed brothers about those who sleep so that you do not grieve like those who have no hope so that you would not need to be informed about the day of the Lord they knew about it but there were some questions about the Rapture of the church which then means it is a separate event and in fact it is so he says let me tell you about this verse 14 if we believe that Jesus died again and again and we also believe that God bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus He will gather those who are believers and those who have died.
We tell you this by the word of the Lord, so this is a new revelation, really, this is a mystery regarding the Old Testament. worried this is a completely different event from the day of the Lord and here is the word of the Lord that we who are alive and remain living believers until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep because the Lord Himself will descend. from heaven with a command with the voice of the Archangel and with the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and who remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to receive the Lord in the air and so on.
We will always be with the Lord, therefore, comfort each other with these words, this does not speak of judgment, this is a very comforting passage that lets us know that the Lord is going to come and take his church out of this world, no. there is nothing about it. judgment in that text, beyond that, after the Rapture has taken place, comes the beginning of the judgments and the day of the Lord. Of course, it culminates in the day of the Lord being near. Ezequiel says he is close. Joel says he's close. Obadiah says it is near Zechariah says it is near it is coming it is near there is an entry in all the prophetic writings that it is a time that we do not know, we cannot know, we are not aware, but we have to live in the In light of reality Coming, verse three of this portion of 1 Thessalonians 5 says that people are going to think that everything is good, peace and security, that is the deception that false prophets will produce in the time of tribulation and also the successes that happen in the world. under the leadership of the Antichrist, but just when they think everything is going well, the peace begins to collapse, as we saw in the seals, it begins with a false peace under the Antichrist and then comes war, famine, death and the prayer of revenge. and then devastating things begin to happen as we read in The Sixth Seal because the great day of the Wrath of God is unleashed.
The first seals, the ones we've reviewed, the first six, occur in the first half of the seven-year tribulation. The middle ground seems to be the abomination of desolation that our Lord spoke of in Matthew 24:15 in which the Antichrist stands as God in the temple and this is an abomination that Daniel spoke of that triggers many things and is a type of the point middle and it is at that point that the Great Tribulation our lord said that the Great Tribulation will be unleashed Matthew 24:21 so all these details are given what we have to understand here is that this is something that was well known and well understood and that look at the scope of this all you have to do is look at verse three destruction will come suddenly like labor pains on a pregnant woman and they will not escape there is no escape this is the last day of the lord the final judgment of the wicked and by the time complete there will be no wicked people living on this Earth.
When Christ begins his kingdom, only believers will enter his kingdom in their natural human form, all the wicked will be destroyed, so let's go back to Revelation. chapter 8 the Lord spoke about this the apostles spoke about this to the point that the early believers knew about the day of the Lord and they knew that it was an inescapable destruction so here is the vision that the Lord gives to John that is really the beginning of the day of the Lord now the judgment of the Lord has been occurring as I said through the first six sealsduring the first part of the time of the tribulation but this is the Great Tribulation this is the final judgment this is the outbreak of the full force of the day of the Lord now there are four words that we will look at to help you through this passage just four words the first word is silence look at verse one when the lamb broke the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour now we know what is happening in heaven, we know because if you go back to chapter 4 you remember that we were taken to heaven in the vision of John and what we saw when we ascended to heaven we saw chapter 4 a gathering of angels a gathering of saints in heaven and all of them verse 8 day and night they do not stop saying holy holy holy is the lord God almighty who was and who is and who has to come and then the living beings other special angels give him glory and honor and thanks to him who is sitting on the throne to him who lives forever and ever and then the 24 Elders representing the church who are present in heaven are They prostrate before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever.
They cast their crowns before the Throne and say you are worthy, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power through You, You created all. things and by your will existence and were created and in chapter 5 we see a similar situation below in verse 9 they sang a new song worthy of taking the book and breaking its seals you were sacrificed and purchased for God with your blood men of all tongue and tribe and people and nation and then in verse 12 more praise coming from myriads and myriads and thousands and thousands of angels. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, power, honor, glory, blessing and everything created in heaven.
He is also responding by saying to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and Dominion forever and ever and then in verse 14 the four living creatures say amen and the elders Fall and Worship what you have is This non-stop worship continues in heaven non-stop coming from angels and saints who are gathered around the throne. Heaven is a noisy place and is full of endless praise, which makes it shocking to see everything stop. In verse one there was silence in heaven for about half an hour in the vision there was dead silence half an hour would seem like a long time when the endless praise stopped.
It would be very natural in the vision for John to say what is going to happen in the world. What could stop the praise of heaven? silence the angels and saints of heaven glorified men and angels saints around the throne doing what they will do forever remain silent what could cause that what would be so amazing so totally dominant so significant that it would silence the praise of heaven well, the answer is given us in the words of Zechariah chapter 3 chapter 2 rather verse 13 is silent Zechariah writes All Flesh before the Lord because he rises from his holy dwelling it seemed as if the God was present receiving all that worship and something changed God took action and it was a awakening coming from his Holiness, he was lifted out of that holy abode, he went into action, this would produce a terrible and amazing reverence and that is why there was silence in heaven, something was about to happen that had never happened in all of history. history of humanity. everywhere in heaven four living beings 24 Elders representing the church countless Angels worshiping playing Harps and suddenly everything is silent what could be so dramatic to silence the praise of Heaven and silence it for a long time the answer is that the final judgment It is about to reach the final and final judgment, I mean, in the final sense, when it ends in a few months there will not be a single unbeliever left on earth, they will all have been killed and catapulted into the Lake of Fire.
This is the event that all of Heaven has been waiting for since the Temptation of Satan felled the human race in the Book of Genesis The Silence of I guess you could say holy reverence holy fear the second word I would mention to describe this short passage is the sounding word We see that in verse two the silence is broken and I saw the seven angels standing before God and they were given seven trumpets. Breaking the silence will be the sound of trumpets. The sound of the trumpets is a loud sound for the intention, obviously, and these trumpets go. to be blown by seven angels this phrase defines those who stand before God you say well, not all angels are before God yes, in a general sense, all the holy angels are in the presence of God, but the language here indicates that these angels They have a specific role of attending to God in close proximity some theologians have actually called them Angels of Presence Angels of Presence Angels who are always in the presence of God We now know that there are all types of angels because they are given different labels, including the There are among the fallen angels, as well as the Holy Angels, there are those angels that are called Powers, those that are called principalities, those that are called rulers, those that are called um dominions, those that are called cherubs, seraphim, archangels, there is definitely a higher arch of angels, but there are angels. of presence we know one of them by name and that is Gabriel because in Luke 1:9 we read I am Gabriel who is in the presence of God this is an angel who deals with God directly this is not a group of angels who receives orders of other superior Angels.
These are the Angels who are in the presence of God. You could say that this is God's angelic cabinet. In chapter 15 we will see seven angels who pour out the seven vials, but they are not designated as angels in the presence of God or who are in the presence of God, so this is a unique group of angels whose function is to place the will of God in immediate action. They are unique in their role as special angels and in this case they are committed to the seven trumpets, what does that mean? Well, trumpets were used in ancient times, certainly in Israel for those kinds of things that you wanted people to know about, so you needed something to get their attention.
A trumpet was blown, for example, to declare war. A trumpet was blown to gather together. the people blew a trumpet to announce a festival or a convocation a trumpet was blown to introduce a king a trumpet was blown to declare a ption to the king who was going to speak and you have that use of trumpets exactly here in Revelation, they are primarily se use for the announcement that is urgent and involves the attention of all and there will be a trumpet that will proclaim judgment there will be a trumpet that will declare war there will be a trumpet that will call the people to an assembly there will be a trumpet that will call for the greatest convocation the kingdom and the reign of Christ there will be a trumpet that will announce the return and Majesty of the king, which is why these trumpets were historically called for those purposes and are so used in The Book of Revelation, seven angels hold seven trumpets that trigger the final judgment.
Now you're thinking what those trumpets are and I'm going to give you a preview because the trumpet judgments are spread over the next two chapters and we'll cover them in detail, but I think it's a general overview. It would be useful here, so let me tell you what happens when the trumpet is blown, a third of the trees, plants and all the grass are burned throughout the Earth, when the second trumpet is blown, a third of the sea is polluted, one third of the ships are destroyed and one third of the creatures that live in the sea are destroyed when the third trumpet is blown one third of the rivers the fresh waters the springs are raided when the fourth trumpet is blown one third of the Sun one of the Moon and a third of the stars all go dark These things have a massive global impact and no environmentalism will be able to understand this judgment when the fifth trumpet sounds.
The demonic hordes will be freed from the hell where they have been enslaved. They are released from hell to torture humanity. It is not allowed to kill people just to torture them and when the sixth trumpet sounds there is a demonic army of several million that ends up killing a third of humanity and when the seventh trumpet sounds this is the announcement of the kingdom of Christ. but from the seventh trumpet come seven bold judgments in the last weeks and days of the day of the Lord so that's what will come when the Angels blow the trumpet now what would you think heaven would be doing?
What would the Saints be doing in heaven? At this point, knowing that this is the day of the Lord, they have been silent for 30 minutes and have been shocked by the reality that the Lord is now going to destroy every unbelieving person on the face of the Earth in the process of destroying the planet, what would be its response well, you get to verse three and the third word supplication, we find here a prayer in progress, you would think that there is a prayer meeting in heaven asking the Lord to wait. I mean, that's how we've all learned to live our Christian lives.
He lives in this world asking God to be merciful proclaiming the gospel hoping that the Lord will be patient and give time for people to repent and of course he does, but this is very different look at verses three and four, another angel came , another angel and stood at the altar. holding a golden censor, this is a kind of priestly posture, it would be what a priest would do when he approached the altar in the temple to offer incense to God as a symbol of prayer. In this case, he is an angel holding a golden sensor, lots of incense.
It was given to him to add to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that was before the throne and the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints went up before God from the hands of the angel so now we find that this It is a beautiful celestial image of intercession with the images drawn from the priest offering incense on the Altar and lighting a fire and the symbol of the flames and the incense Rising speaks of the prayers of the people, that is what it meant in the Ancient economy Testament in this case what this Angel is doing as if he were a priest is added to the prayers of the Saints who are also on the golden altar in front of the Throne and the question is the prayers of the saints who ascended before God something symbolized in the action of the angels, what are their prayers for?
Well first of all, just a footnote, there are some people who have tried to identify this angel as the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no reason to do so, nothing says it is him. an angel and in the Old Testament he is known as the angel of the Lord, but never in the New Testament is Christ referred to as an angel, never and in the Book of Revelation he is clearly identified, there is no veiled identification of Christ and only in the Book of Revelation is Christ identified as the Alpha and Omega Jesus Christ the faithful witness the firstborn of the Dead the ruler of the kings of the Earth the son of man the first and the last the resurrected the Son of God the son of David the lion of Judah the lamb the root of David Christ the faithful and true the word of God the king of kings and Lord of the beginning and the end all those magnificent titles this is not Christ this is an angel who was at the altar Obviously he's an important angel, we don't have an ID for him, but he's holding this golden sensor with incense which, as I said in the Old Testament, was the symbol of prayer and he adds it to the prayers of the saints, so what are they praying the saints? because well we know exactly what they are praying for, they are the saints, you see there, the saints are those saints who are on the altar before the throne, go back to chapter 6 of Revelation and here we find these saints in the fifth seal when the lamb broke the fifth seal he saw under the altar here we are back on the altar the soul of those who had been killed because of the word of God and for the testimony that they had maintained here are saints who had been martyred and entered heaven and who are crying verse 10 they cried they cried out with a loud voice saying until when oh holy and true Lord will you refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who live on earth this is most interesting they are praying for divine wrath they are praying for divine vengeance that is not It is the normal prayer of the saints the saints on Earth we pray for the salvation of the people we are commanded to do that to offer prayers for all so that they may come to the knowledge of the truth we pray for Grace we pray for Mercy we pray for forgiveness and salvation we pray as Jesus did Father forgive them because they do not know what they are doing but at this point in Redemptive history in the future the Saints who are around the The throne have a different request, it is time for God to have been patient, but it is time and they are praying for God to judge and avenge the blood of those who have been martyred.
Prayers for judgment to come. You know you are near the end when Heaven is. crying out for judgment, the shock of the Judgment made them silent for a while, but as it began to sink in and soak in the description of this moment, they began to realize that it is time for judgment and that is why the Prayers of the Angels you could say are added to the prayers of the Saints and that leads to one more word in chapter 8 and that is theword storm look at verse five then the angel took the sensor filled it with the fire of the Altar and threw it to the Earth like a kind of angelic comet and thunder and sounds and lightning and an earthquake followed and with that verse 6 it says that the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them, this is a Divine Fire Storm, a Divine Fire Storm.
He takes all this incense that symbolizes prayers and he wields it as a weapon of judgment, he turns away from the request to be merciful and merciful and throws it to the Earth, he drives it to the Earth symbolic of the devastation that will come in the end. fiery marks of judgment that reminds me of Matthew 13 where it represents the Angels participating in the judgment says in verse 41 of Matthew 13 the son of man will send his angels and they will collect from his kingdom all obstacles and those who commit iniquity and I will throw them into the furnace of fire in that place there will be crying and gnashing of teeth, this is essentially the same responsibility that the angels have, they throw their fire to the Earth, it consumes and catapults people into the Lake of Fire, as we will see in the Book of Revelation all unbelievers will end up in the Lake of Fire the storm generated by this judgment is spoken of with some phenomena thunder and lightning and an earthquake this is just to let us know that in all parts of the planet the result of This will be clearly understood by returning First or Second Thessalonians for a moment, we find this to be a good parallel text: verse seven of 2 Thessalonians says that the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those. those who do not know God and those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction away from the presence of the Lord and the glory of his power Again The Angels involved in the judgment with fire the horrendous judgment will be executed to a certain extent by angelic beings what it marks is the end of all Grace, the end of all patience, the end of all tolerance and the question you ask yourself after looking at that, even before getting into everything else, is because that people would reject their only hope of Escape when the gospel is preached by God's people and even in the tribulation By the Angels the gospel is preached in the last times by Jews and Gentiles throughout the world as we saw in chapter 7 by that when salvation is offered in the midst of the outbreak of sealed judgment why do people reject why they turn their backs on their only hope the answer is in John chapter 3 John chapter 3 you know verse 16 because God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son so that whoever believes in him will not perish but will have eternal life.
All the sinner has to do is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not something he has to spend a lifetime earning and achieving before judgment. facing immediate judgment like the thief on the cross the sinner is called to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and by believing in him he escapes from the Lake of Fire and has been given eternal life verse 17 because God did not send his son into the world to judge the world the first time he came but that the world could be saved through him and it is thus direct, he who believes in Him is not judged, it boils down to the fact that he who does not believe has already been judged, in other words, if you do not believe your judgment already your Eternal Destiny is set heaven or hell everything is based on one thing you believe in the Son of God if you do you receive eternal life if you do not enter eternal death but this is the Judgment verse 19 that the light has come into the world and the Men loved darkness instead of light because their works were evil, they were so in love with their evil that even in that last generation like the present, but even in that last generation with judgment flying around them, they were so attached to their sin that he did not want to renounce it, in fact, it says in the next verse that everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light for fear that his works will be exposed, he does not want his sin to be exposed and does not He wants his sin changed into righteousness why people don't come because they don't want to change their sin into righteousness so what is repentance?
He is saying I don't want my sin I want justice I turn away from my sin that's why the prophets ask why Will you die why do they say turn, turn, turn, why will you die? This is the message the world needs to hear. You're not going to hear it in many places, not even in many churches. Most. I'm afraid they are afraid to preach judgment because. could drive someone away, you would want to think that you would preach judgment because it could push someone towards Christ. God provided the sacrifice in Christ so that we do not need to die in our sins at any time and be sent to the Lake of Fire as We close this, we return to 1 Thessalonians 5 once again and we will pick it up in verse four, the day of the Lord is coming, It comes like a thief in the night, destruction comes, no one can escape, then this wonderful section.
But you brothers are not in darkness, let the day overtake you like a thief because you are all children of the light and children of the day, we are not of the night or the darkness, this does not apply to us, therefore, as we saw in the first part of the service Psalm 27 we run towards God we do not move away from him we want to be as close to him as possible we want to seek his face look into his face and we are not afraid because he is our salvation he is our Defender he is our Rock our refuge our hiding place then now that is true verse 6 so let us not sleep like others but be alert and sober how could you not be alert and sober when you know that this is coming for those who sleep sleep at night and those who get drunk get drunk at night but now that we are of the day let us be sober sober in mind serious in our thinking clothed with the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet the hope of salvation for God has not destined us for wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ who He died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep, that is, when he comes, whether we are alive or dead, we live together with him, so take heart. each other and build each other up just as you are doing too the world should look at the judgment to come with pure panic we look at it with hope because we are not meant to w but to obtain salvation how do we know that because Christ?
He died for us so that we may live together with him, it is with him forever or without him, our father again, your word comes to us as Divine Light, divine truth, its power is palpable every time we read it, it is alive and powerful, sharper than any two. sharp sword pierces short clarifies cleanses cleanses sharpens Comfort depending on our relationship with you for those who are unbelievers those who have not come to Christ May the word terrify them but for those of us who belong to you may the word be a consolation for us who are not destined to the wrath that will never come to us we are children of the day not of the darkness children of the light not of the night and as such we must live thanks for rescuing us from eternal punishment and giving us eternal life we are unworthy but we are grateful and we even now on Earth as the militant Saints who live in the world we join the Saints in glory praising you praising you honoring you glorifying you at all times who have rescued us from sin and death and judgment and made us your beloved children and gave us the promise of a home in your presence in the glory of Heaven May that truth take hold of every heart here for salvation or for sanctifying gratitude we ask it in the name of the savior amen amen
