Pininfarina's styling resulted from placing radiators on either side of the engine to reduce heat inside the cabin. The Testarossa was designed as a grand tourer with air conditioning as standard and had a decent front boot and space behind the seats for storage. They sold just over 7,000 cars before launching the first revision in 1992, now called the 512 tr. Welcome to the Lamborghini Countach 5000 qv As you can hear, this is pretty loud. It has a direct tube which makes it incredibly loud. Wow, imagine driving this in 1985. I mean, it looks like a spaceship. Now imagine what it looked like in 1985. What is it like? For driving, although the front tires are quite narrow and the rear tires are huge, so in a straight line you get a lot of traction in the corners, it doesn't fill you with confidence, the visibility is horrendous, as you can probably see from the design. You have these little mirrors made of plastic that you can't really see anything and in the rear view mirror you can't see anything either.
You're simply consumed by the noise of that 5.2-liter v12 engine. You feel like I'm onto something special, I have to say that, but not for obvious reasons. Now what you can't see is that I'm actually driving without shoes because the brake pedal and the gas pedal are so close together that you need racing shoes. with or without shoes, the lack of power steering makes it quite difficult and heavy, the brakes are not bad, not bad again, they don't really fill you with confidence, the brakes stop but require a fairly big push, although the Air conditioning works surprisingly.
It has a dog leg gearbox, be very gentle in first gear to give a bit of acceleration when changing gears, cars don't sound like that anymore, I don't think this would suit someone who is quite tall? 5ft 8in and I fit very well inside, the owner is also the same height as me, but I think if you were 6ft or taller you wouldn't fit in this car, it has a lot of torque, so we are currently in third gear, 3000 rpm . you put your foot down it's not tremendously fast, it's got plenty of power for the day, although 455 brake horsepower, welcome to the

ferrari

testarossa

, an iconic car by any standards, its value is going up and, ironically, ross's first test in The one I entered was owned by My friend Russell who has just sold his car through Joe McCary to Mr Tge, so he is lucky enough to own one of these beautiful classic Ferraris.
I think this is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. Definitely one of the most beautiful Ferraris. I'm serious. It looks awesome today in 2021 and this car first came out in 1984 so it has the flat 12 engine behind you. This enclosed gearbox is not that easy to use unless you are used to it and because it is a dogleg type gearbox, you are not. Always aware of what gear you're in, the steering wheel looks very large but is actually very pleasant to use. What surprises me most about this car is that you can't really hear the engine, let's get into third gear, it's not very loud, you have to give in.
You press the accelerator a little bit before you put it into gear just to help you get into this closed gearbox, so one, two, three, four, fourth into third, press the accelerator. It's a very, very smooth car to drive. It is very easy to drive. You have to remember that the rear is a little wider than the front and it is a fairly wide car. We'll put the measurements on the screen now but it's very easy to drive. It's very comfortable. Very very good visibility. You can see directly from behind. There is nothing to impede your vision.
It's a Very very good cabin for visibility, reminds me of my old NSX, you can see everything. He's really, really good at these classic cars. I tend not to accelerate much in first gear just because the engines are pretty fragile and this car has only had 8,000 miles on it. Ferrari tests the Rossa and Lamborghini Countach first. Many thanks to the owners, Rob and Richard, for allowing me to drive these cars. This one only has 8,000 miles and is insured for £400,000, so thanks to them for providing it. gives me the opportunity to drive two of the sexiest cars on the planet now i don't think there's any debate that they both look sexy some people love

ferrari

some

lamborghini

some people collect both let's move on to the engine now this has a straight through the pipe its much louder and much more heady and exactly what you would expect the

lamborghini

countach

to sound like as the flat 12 on the tesla set isn't as loud now i know as the cars get older and run more and they do as As the miles go on, they can get noisier.
This one might be a little quiet because it's only had 8,000 miles and doesn't have an aftermarket exhaust, but I rolled down the windows and you can't really hear the exhaust. It's much quieter. It's not bad, it means it's actually better for longer trips, you don't always want to have a loud exhaust, the steering is a lot heavier and makes a lot more noise which means you probably won't drive it as often. This car is much harder to drive, but because it's louder and the steering is heavier, it's much more intoxicating to drive. When you drive this car, it is much more comfortable, much more relaxed and you feel like you could drive continents.
You definitely couldn't drive continents with this car, but it's much more intoxicating in terms of looks, I think it's very subjective, I love them both, I absolutely love them both, however this one has the feel of a kit car. Inside and out, if you look at all the finishing touches, it feels like a kit car. It feels much better built even though they are both from the same era. 1988 1986. Final thoughts. I think they are both beautiful. I think they are. Iconic in different ways I think this is a car that if you bought it you would use it a lot more than this one but I don't think you would walk out of the Ferrari with the same kind of feeling as if you had gone to the gym and I also think this is a lot more eye-catching to the view, but both iconic cars I can't see why either of them would be disappointing if you bought them, but one last thought, the owner of this car takes it out. four times a year and has done about 300 miles this year, so I think that shows that although it is a beautiful car to look at, it is quite impractical, it is difficult to drive, this one is easier to use and so So, you're going to get more miles, so if you want something to look good in your garage, if you want something, you can use the test drive.
