Sorry, the truck noise is getting hot. Thank you very much for watching them. Let's start the video. Let's start with my personal favorite, the window frame. Make the wreath first at Dollar Tree. I bought one of the Styrofoam wreaths. I don't recommend using the floral foam wreath for this because you will use glue to attach reindeer moss to the wreath. The floral foam absorbs the glue easily and if you use it hot. The glue as I am using it will melt the floral foam so it is best to use styrofoam which is much thicker. I'm just putting glue on top of the wreath and then placing moss on top.

I do this until I get the top. cover and reindeer moss, then I turned the wreath over and shook it to get rid of the moth pieces that are not attached to the wreath because I don't want the wreath to fall off all the time after shaking. I then glue most of the excess moss to the inside of the wreath and the outside of the wreath. I don't worry about putting moss on the back because you can't see that if you want to put moss there you can. I just came in because I can't even see it and I just used a package of reindeer moss, let's start working on the frame, pick up one of these garden fences from Dollar Tree and six of their 8 by 10 frames to paint this.

Using white chalk paint, I painted the fence with rusty Oleum white chalk spray paint and then used Waverly white chalk paint that I bought at Walmart to paint the frames. I used a makeup sponge that I broke in half to paint the frames because I like the texture it gives the frames. I put a sponge on the frame instead of cleaning it that way. I don't get streaks, no matter what kind of paint you use, spray paint, acrylic paint, chalk paint, that's up to you, now is the time. For the frames, use a strong glue to attach the frames to each other.

You don't want this to fall apart and it is more likely to happen if you use regular school glue or don't have enough hot glue. I make sure. Wherever two frames touch, I put glue. Now the little fence I painted has these stakes that go into the ground and I don't want them on my windowsill so what you want to do to remove them is just bend them back and forth. because this will help loosen it and then you can cut it with scissors. If you have very sharp scissors, you don't have to bend it back and forth, but if you just have regular craft scissors, it's easier to bend. from one side to the other, so loosen it, break that plastic and then take a pair of scissors and cut it off once the glue on the frame has dried.
I turned the frames over and glued them to the fence. This time I used hot glue instead of e6000 because I didn't want to wait for the e6000 to dry, so if you use hot glue to attach it, make sure you use a lot of hot glue. Now it's time to join three. I'm using a nautical rope. I have a

dollar

tree

to hang the wreath on. There are different ways to attach the string, but I didn't want any string to cover the front of the wreath, so what I'm doing is placing my wreath on the frames the way I wanted to place it and then cutting the string to where it's long enough. long enough to glue to the back of the wreath to attach the rope to the wreath I put a lot of hot glue on the back of three, place the rope over the glue, let it dry and then apply a lot of glue over the top of the rope, that way there is something on the back of the rope that prevents it from coming loose and that's it for the window frame.
Now moving on to the Dollar Tree planters, you'll pick up these white ones. The pillars are also in black, it doesn't really matter what color you get, it's easier to paint white. Also grab a vase from Dollar Tree and paint it white. I'm using my white chalk paint to paint the vase just because I like it. the texture and it goes with everything else now I take some nautical rope and I glue it around the top of the pillar now that I have that rope I go ahead and attach my vase. I'm using a hot glue gun to make this.
Since I'm impatient, it's probably best to use heavy duty glue alone because it will never fall apart even with hot glue, although it sticks pretty well. The finishing touches to this DIY are to simply glue some string to the top of the cara and then fill it with whatever you want. I was just using a little baby's breath, but you know what kind of suction is. The baby's breath died quickly. I love the look of these vases. I think they match the rest.

ation very well next I will show you how to make the pillars of the candles again.
I'm using the pillars from Dollar Tree if you want to make the full set that I made you will need six of these now I want to paint them to paint. For them I'm using Apple Barrel paints in Antique White and Territorial Beige. I bought them at Walmart and they were only 50 cents each. I pour the paint side by side and then dip a torn makeup sponge in between the paint so there is one color in each. side of the sponge then I throw the sponge around the pillars. I don't mix the paint because you get a better color and texture when you don't mix the paints and just let them mix naturally some areas will have a little more white paint and some areas will have a little more beige paint and this in my opinion , it gives it a more rustic feel, it looks more like a rustic

farmhouse

decor, it just helps it look more aged now to make the pillars taller, all you have to do is just glue the pillars together, it depends on how tall you want them to be, if you want them to be super tall you can glue several pillars on top of each other.
All I did was make two of the tallest pillars, so two of one pillar. You just glued two pillars together and the tallest pillar had three pillars glued together and that was it, you just placed your candles on top or whatever you want and finally you finished the Dollar Tree farmhouse looking lantern. You're going to want to buy seven of their four-by-six picture frames. There are a lot of different four by six picture frames. I just bought these silver ones, they also come in gold just because I like the thickness of them. Now you'll want to take out the inside while you're painting the frame, not to paint the frame, I'm using the exact same colors that I used before on the pillars, except I put in a little more white to make it a little lighter again.
I am using the makeup sponges for painting, they are easy to use and inexpensive and I will prefer to use the makeup sponges instead of the real paint sponges because they are cheaper to get. You can get a large package at Dollar Tree. and just break them in, they do the job the same way painting sponges do, except like I said, painting painting sponges get a little more expensive, it's like you don't get as much bang for your buck as you do with the Makeup sponges, especially when I'm painting small things like this, work perfectly and again I place the makeup sponge over the frame to get the color and texture I want and I don't want streaks if I was just swiping the sponge across the frame.
I'm just going to put in a bunch of stripes after all my frames are painted and dry. I place all the content that came with the frame back into the frame except for that fake image that it came with now I'm gluing the frames together. Together I'm using a hot glue gun to make this. You can use a different glue if you want. I wanted to use my hot glue gun because I have new glue sticks. I bought the Gorilla glue sticks and I really like Gorilla glue. I have heard good things about the glue sticks, I decided to try it and yes they are really good, they are much better than the

dollar

tree

glue sticks, you can tell the difference, you can tell the glue is much more. strong, so I glue the picture frames together to create a square and then I glue a picture frame on top of what will actually be the bottom of this lantern, now the frame doesn't perfectly match the measurement of the four pictures. frames stuck together there will be a little bit of that, so when you peek out you'll end up having to paint over that, so it's not so obvious to create the little X's that I have going through my farmhouse lantern.
I'm actually using that piece of paper, the fake image that the frames come with has white borders on the side of the main image and I just cut two little strips and then glued them to just two sides of the square part of the lantern and then I also glue them to the roof of the lantern for the roof of this lantern. I take one picture frame and put glue on the side, then take the other frame, hold the container for them on top of the ceiling and then place them. I attached them to each other, but secured them making sure they were at an angle to make it look more like a roof.
Once they are attached I apply more glue between the two where they join just because I don't want this to happen. it collapsed on me and then I just placed what I made on top of the lantern and then we have a roof for the lantern. At first I didn't know if I wanted the little X's to be on the ceiling, but then I decided it looked better with them there, so now that's what I'm doing. I'm going over that area that I told you about on the picture frame that's on the bottom that sticks out a little bit with paint to help hide it and then You can fill this with pretty much whatever you want now, the only thing I'll say if you decided to keep the paper in like I did it, I wouldn't necessarily light a real candle in there like I put a real candle in it. but I didn't turn it on.
I would use more of an LED candle if you want it to glow or the fairy lights just because you don't want to set your house on fire, so that's it for this farm, help center video. If we can get this video to 5,000 likes, I will upload another farmhouse decorating video for you guys very soon, thank you so much for watching, I'll see you next time, take care, bye.
