If you don't have one of those ring benders to make them, it's not a total loss and you don't absolutely need to have one, but it makes your life a thousand times easier. you can use other tools, you can use pliers similar to these that are rounded and you can start rounding your piece, use them on a hammer or you can use a chuck and a hammer and you can get creative with it to just get them round. shape, but it's going to be a lot harder and since you can't heat them without destroying the coating, it makes it a lot harder.
