-checking exercise? Well, for me, it depends on your expectations. If you are expecting Mr. Sheyan to be a revelation of the truth, I think this shows that you should really reconsider. But for me personally, and judging by some of the comments I made in a post I made after Zeihan, it's not about knowing the absolute truth. It's about having interesting and provocative ideas. Because in my career as an

economist

, I have never met anyone who could so consistently predict the future in the very specific terms that Mr. Zeehan likes to use, such as “This country will

collapse

in ten years.” I have always taken his extreme predictions with a large pinch of salt, so I am pleased to say that after this

-checking analysis, which was, let's be honest, extremely important, I will continue to follow Mr.

Zeehan in the way that I did. to get a broad view and interesting perspective on world affairs. But if I were doing serious research, I wouldn't trust Mr. Zehan's work too much because I think he is very sloppy. Committed to the

he has been telling for a long time. But yeah, that's my opinion. While I reached out to the Zeehan team for comment before publishing this video, I have yet to receive a response. We hope you continue to do so in the comments of this video. Lastly, I would like to point out that I am more positive.

I think in conclusion this video is more than similar videos that I criticized. For example, Johnny Harris explains economics for two reasons. The first is that they understand the important things quite well, even if they sometimes go to a ridiculous point. The second reason is that Zeihan does not present himself as a teacher or educator, but rather as a reflective analyst. And yes, I think teachers should be held to higher standards because their audience is less experienced. Is this on fire? Or was he being too generous? Let me know in the comments.
