Liver really... here we go... First, the good: the flavor is surprisingly uniform and smooth. None of the flavors: Flavors that are too strong seem to overpower everything else, you get asafoetida. There's definitely like garlic in there, a kind of burnt garlic, but in a fun way, and it's not overwhelming, it can be overwhelming, the liver is invincible and that's really what I was most worried about. So yes, the taste is very pleasant. It's earthy but doesn't have that metallic taste that some livers sometimes have. It has an earthier, grassier flavor and you get that smoky touch.

Now it's not very good, I don't like liver. I'm sorry I ruined things. I just don't like liver. The texture is like this: I expect very chewy meat and mushrooms. It's kind of rubbery, then porous, and then dissolves into the gravel. :x This is not a good thing. It also gets stuck in the teeth. I'm not a fan of that. I would definitely choose something that resembled a sirloin. But you know that's what it is. Now when it comes to figs and cheese, I mean it will be delicious, I know it. very good. The only thing I really like are these two things, the saltiness of the feta cheese and the sweetness of these figs.

There was an old tree stump in his town and he decided to knock it down and pull it out of the ground, but he couldn't. The tree immobilizes his arm and he cannot get it out, so the dogs of the night sneak up on him and the lions or wild beasts come and devour him. So we don't really know the moral of this story, except that you don't know that if you put your arm inside a dead tree, you could get trapped and eaten by animals. I think it's a good moral, it's a good moral. Anyway, make this meal or at least part of it, and we'll see you next time on Tasting History.
