Apr 22, 2024Hi everyone, I've been making
roast
beef
in the airfryer
recently and it always comes out great. I had never maderoast
beef
before the airfryer
so I was surprised at howeasy
it was and it has been a game changer for me with the air fryer. In this video I will show you how I make roast beef in the air fryer, it is soeasy
that if I can do it you can too, for thisrecipe
you will need the following 800 to 1000 grams or one kilogram or approximately two or two and a half pounds of olive oil to roast beef and about a quarter and a half cup of seasoning to rub on the outside of the meat before cooking. It can be as simple as salt and pepper, for the record I use preheated mccormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning. air fryer at 205 degrees celsius or 400 degrees fahrenheit for five minutes, lightly coat the outside of the meat with olive oil and apply the seasonings around the meat and let it rest for about 15 to 30 minutes, especially if you just took it out of the fridge. after preheating the air fryer, put the meat and cook at 205 centigrade or 400 fahrenheit for 15 minutes that second. The cooking phase is over, take a temperature reading, the temperature should be 50 to 60 degrees Celsius at the thickest part of the meat, this was not and was around 34 degrees Celsius 93 degrees Fahrenheit.
I turned the meat again and cooked it about a third. phase to five minutes at 205 degrees celsius or 400 degrees fahrenheit after that I took a temperature reading and it went up to 51 degrees celsius which would be fine but I wanted to cook a little longer so I turned it over and cooked the meat again at 205 degrees Celsius 400. Fahrenheit for five minutes after I finished I checked the temperature and it was above 55 degrees Celsius which is 131 degrees Fahrenheit at the thickest part of the meat. I took it out, wrapped it in aluminum foil, and let it sit for 15 minutes so the meat could finish cooking. inside and so that the juices are redistributed evenly throughout the meat after the meat has been resting for about 15 minutes it will be ready to serve so cut a few slices, the thinner the better for me and serve them with some sides and with sauce or you can do it. what I make and serve them as sandwiches like this French dip.
