I'll just cover it, try to get it. nice and even and look how it goes, as you can see it looks really good, there are some little brush strokes, but other than that it definitely looks like real chrome. Now we return to the helmets that I let these helmets be drawn for. About three or four days now I'm spraying the clown paint using a 1 mil spray gun, it's a mini gun, then I'm just spraying a nice even coat over the helmets which has given me a great chrome finish, Jessica, now I have let the cream dry for about two days.
Now I'm going to sprinkle some for k-qui. I'm going to do two coats, waiting ten minutes between coats. I'm just using my normal nozzle to build this 1.3 mil batch GTI. spray gum, so I painted the helmets, they look great. I painted my samples. I also painted the bumper bar in chrome. Now this was just silver. The paint was really bad, so I sprayed it black and put chrome paint on it. now I'm going to test it, I'm going to compare it with a real Chrome button bar that is exactly the same shape as this one, so yeah, let's go out and check with a real Chrome button bar.
Look at the comparison, now not this helmet. I'm clear on it, so I'm going to test how your skills were, so I'm going to clean it up with some wax and grease remover and a microfiber cloth just to see how the cream holds up. You can see it even after using chemicals to clean. it and a microfiber cloth basically haven't marked the crime and it still looks as good as when it was sprayed now I'm going to scratch it with the screwdriver to see how it reacts and it's basically reacting like a normal paint. a scratch on normal paint with a screwdriver and it's going to mark it and that's what's happening now.
I'm going to apply some masking tape over the scratches on top of the chrome paint to see if it comes off and it's basically stuck really well so it's good now if it ever gets scratched or the chrome paint starts to peel off the base. It's very easy to touch up, just take your gun and spray the chrome back onto the product. This is also great for touching up chrome wheels if you ever get messed around enough. There you have it, that was the easy chrome exterior paint. I painted it on a few different surfaces and it looks pretty good.
I mean, like a chrome replica. I say it does the job. I mean, I painted this bumper bar and when I held it up. Against the car with the original chrome bumper bar, you couldn't really tell the difference. I mean you can definitely paint it by putting it on the car and I mean it's pretty scratch resistant, you can clean it and it's very easy to touch up so yeah I definitely recommend it to anyone outdoors or indoors. The softening cream is really good as far as brushing it on, you'll probably get a better finish if you spray it with a gun.
I used a 1 mil mini touch up gun and it works great when brushing it on, you tend to get a little streaky, you can get into trouble, so spraying it on will probably be a lot easier and give you a smoother finish. Now you can put a clear coat on it which will protect it a little. More durability, it takes away from the chrome look a little bit, but it's pretty durable on its own, so I'm going to drizzle some caramel on these Chinons in the next video. I'm going to spray the hooves. I'm going to put some candy paint on it. above red gold I'm also going to put some black in there so yeah cheering for that other than that I hope you liked the episode if you want to get some of this easy chrome check out my website mods custom spray, comdata, are in the store. all the prices and information there, if you are in Australia check out the website, you can get scram paint, start doing some chrome, until next time, check out my other videos too.
