this

country has to offer we wanted to talk to you about some warnings in most countries we go to there is always some type of scam whether big or small but if you don't catch it early it will actually continue to exist . They add up throughout your entire trip, so we are here to warn you to be prepared and hopefully tell the locals not to do

this

, the more you teach them the less they will do it, many of the scams you come across will be found in all countries are very similar or it will be as if a taxi driver charged you more.

You know we're used to those things. However, this one was very interesting and we didn't realize it until about 10 days into our trip, so who? You know how many times it's happened to us, but basically in Costa Rica and I also heard, because I mentioned this on Instagram, that this is common in many Central Ame

rica

n countries, so it's not like pointing out Costa Rica, but warning you Taurus basically when you go you place the order and you get your invoice, you check your invoice again at the end, that's really all there is to it because they're going to add a lot of items.

More Interesting Facts About,

Ian's birthday had like two drinks and I had one and they charged us for eight so they doubled it and that was a lot for drinks on his birthday on my birthday, who does that? I think they thought we were drunk and wouldn't notice, but Ian came in and it's so funny because every time. This happened and by the way, once we realized it was something that happened to us every day, at least once, somewhere for dinner or lunch, and the craziest part was that this wasn't just one city, we were all over the west coast. from

costa

rica

and it happened everywhere once, we were even with a local and they tried to push us away and I was like: is anyone

ing this?

This does not? Yes, it happened to us in Uvita Santa Teresa Drum La Fortuna La Fortuna Yes, all over Costa Rica and it's very funny because every time we went to confront people, hey, you charged me extra, they knew it immediately, as if it wasn't Like, oh, I'm so, oh, I gotta check they just knew. We caught them, I'm ranting. I am great because I appreciate honesty. If you are a servant and you treat me well, I will treat you well. I'll give you a good tip, but if you try to scam me. Why would I like you after that?

I don't know, you won't get a tip just to let them know that we are very tired because we just took a two day trip to get to Cairo, Egypt. You guessed it in our community tab. Right behind us is an incredible view of the pyramids, the great pyramids of Giza. The second one is not really a scam, but many people like to call it a scam. It's the car rental dilemma in Costa Rica and this is really filtered. towards peak season, which is most things, because peak season is when prices are going to be completely high.
Simply put, in Costa Rica, car rentals are very expensive, so if you see something online and say, oh, this deal, come in, get it, and reserve your car it's just false advertising because when you get to Costa Rica you're basically they put taxes and fees that are mandatory, not only that it is a mandatory government insurance policy that you have to implement on all car sales, rental car sales throughout the country. so every car rental company has to do it and it's a lot of money, it's like 300 to 400 on top of your price, yeah, which is again one of those things, just tell me how much I'm going to pay, yeah, and I'll pay it. but don't catch me off guard because it ruins your entire trip.
This didn't happen to us because we booked through Enterprise and I say this in our top 10 video, but I'll say it one more time and I'm done sharing this because I probably shouldn't, but basically I have a friend who gave me one of her codes. corporate to get a discount on a company. All of those companies have corporate codes, so it's a great trick, we got half our price. we spent fourteen hundred dollars for sixteen days that's a lot of money a lot of money that's a lot of money just a little less than our rent one last thing about

costa

rica is the only national park that made us feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable was the manuel antonio national park in caipos just at the entrance it's not even at the entrance it's a mile from the entrance they have these fake guards they're locals with huge fake license plates and they're trying to force you into their parking lots yeah and they got really mad wanting me to see what you have on your phone, I got it, oh yeah, we'll overlay it, it got really bad with us, they ran in front of our car, they stopped us, they tried to delete the video, make sure.
In order not to stop, the most important tip I have is to tell them that you are going to pick up a friend at the main gate of Manuel Antonio just when we told him they said "oh, go ahead, don't worry, we just left the national park, so you are already". we went to the yeah we already went if you park there you literally have to walk so far there is no transportation so we were looking at these poor people I can't even it's so far like at least a mile yeah they walked like 30 minutes. even before they got to the entrance of manuel antonio so they were sweating even before they got to the park it was so hot like it's not easy to walk in costa rica i think it needs to be spread everywhere so share this with anyone who goes to costa rica because it will make you feel uncomfortable but the closer you get to the entrance there are people parking you can't just walk into the park and park so basically you want to get as close as possible they really need to fix that. so that tourists can enjoy their time there because you are paying to go to the park.
I think when there are times like this, no matter where you travel, it ruins your vibe, yeah, and you have a bad mentality, so we got into Manuel Antonio. which is the number one

visit

ed national park in costa rica we saw a sloth, a lot of birds, I mean you see so many interesting things there, yes, but your mentality got clouded because everyone yells at you, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but let us tell you . you, after spending three weeks, a little over three weeks in Costa Rica, the locals are some of the friendliest we have met along the way, so you don't have to be nervous, just look at your bills, don't be afraid of the Costa scammers. rica is a little more expensive than we expected but any of us should come here there are cheap flights from all the big airports so that's it and I hope you don't think we're being negative because I know you don't always get into these things, but we feel it is important.
