When I first heard this quote from Buddha a few years ago, I was confused because although I understood what he meant, I didn't know how I could apply this in my own life. They were given the clear option to suffer and not suffer. I don't think anyone in their right mind would choose to suffer, so how can I choose not to suffer if it were that easy? I don't think anyone suffered more. It wasn't until years later that I found a new understanding of where suffering comes from and was able to stop it at its source.
When I began my journey of self-improvement, I found a lot of different teachings, studies and methods to help people overcome their problems. I read dozens, if not hundreds, of books, studied psychology, went to a therapist, listened to many leaders of different opinion, I tried to change my habits, I woke him up at 4 am, I changed my diet, I became more structured and disciplined, I worked in the shadows, I studied different personality types, I meditated daily. Spiritual retreats following spiritual Masters and researching different ancient religions, so to speak. I've probably tried it. I was desperate to find an answer because I wanted to know how to stop suffering in my own life and help others do the same, although some of those things helped me gradually get better, they didn't stop my suffering completely.
I always felt extremely anxious, fearful, dissatisfied, irritated, angry, frustrated and heavy every day, even after doing all that, I still didn't discover the answer and if being honest, I was even more lost before I started on this Quest. I felt purposeless, hopeless and directionless. I no longer knew what to do, where to look or who to talk to. Here is another example of how we live in a world of thought and not reality if you go up to a hundred different people and ask each of them. them what money means to them how many different answers do you think you will get about 100 different answers money is technically the same but it means something different to each person money could mean time freedom opportunity security peace of mind or it could mean evil greed or the reason why which people commit crimes for now I'm not going to go into what the right or wrong clue is, there is no right or wrong answer, but that's for a different chapter.
Another illustration of this concept is if you analyze a hundred different people and ask each of them what they think of our current president. How many different answers do you think you will get even though we are talking about the exact same person? We'll get 100 different answers because most people live. in your own thoughts and your own perceptions of the world the meaning or thought we give to an event is what determines how we ultimately feel about it that meaning or thought is the filter through which we see life from then on because of This is how we live through a perception of reality and not reality itself.
Reality is the event that happened without any meaning, thinking or interpreting. Any meaning or thought we give to an event is upon us and this is how our perception of it is created. reality is how it is ourslife experience Created from the inside out, it is not the events that happen in our lives but our interpretation of them that makes us feel good or bad about something. This is how people in Third World countries can be happier than people in First World countries and people in the First. World countries can be more miserable than people in third world countries.
Our feelings do not come from external events but from our own thinking about the events. Therefore, we can only feel what we are thinking. Let's hypothetically say you really hate your job and stuff. It causes you an enormous amount of stress, anxiety and frustration, it hurts to even set foot in the building where you work and just thinking about your job makes you furious when you are thinking about your job, you are just sitting on the couch with your family watching a TV show together but you're furious at the thought of your job, everyone else is having a good time except you.
Right now, everyone else in your family is having a different life experience than you, even though the same event is happening. Just thinking about work created a completely different perception of reality, even if you were not physically at work, if it were true that external events made us feel what we felt inside, then you should be a happy camper in your living room. If you are watching a fun TV show with your family every time you do this activity, but that is not the case now, you may be saying that you only feel this way because an external event at your work is causing you stress and anxiety, so I will ask you the question: is it absolutely true that each person feels exactly the same? in the same way about the job that two different people are working on they may be doing the exact same job but they will have completely different experiences of that job it may be the most amazing experience and dream job for one person but it may be the worst nightmare from another person in hell, the only difference between one person and the next is how they think about their job, which determines how they feel about it.
Now let's go back to the original scenario where you hypothetically hate your job, remember how much stress, anxiety and frustration it causes. When you think about it, let's do a quick thought experiment on this by answering the following question: Who would you be without thinking that you hated your job? Take a minute to see what comes up for you and don't move on until you do. that if you don't think about it too much and really let the answer arise from within you. Without that thought, you will most likely feel and be happy, peaceful, free and light, without our usual thinking about a particular event or thing, our experience of it completely alters it.
This is how we live in a world of thought, not reality, and how our perception of reality is created from the inside out through our own thinking. With this new understanding that you have just discovered, the cause of all our human psychological suffering, the fundamental cause of our suffering is our own thinking now, before we throw this book across the room and set it on fire. I'm not saying this is all in our heads and not real. Our perception of reality is very real. We will feel what we feel. Thinking that our feelings are real, that is completely undeniable;
However, our thinking will seem like an inevitable and immutable reality until we begin to see how our reality is created. If we know that we can only feel what we are thinking, then we know that we can change our feelings by changing our thinking, therefore we can change our experience of life knowing that it comes from our own thinking and if that is true, then we are just one step away. thought of experiencing something different and transforming our entire life at any moment. through a state of no thought in short, the moment we stop thinking is when our happiness begins a young monk in the empty boat a Zen story about how thinking is the cause of our own suffering a long time ago a young Zen monk He lived in a small monastery that was located in a forest near a small lake.
The monastery was occupied by a few older monks while the rest were newcomers and still had a lot to learn. The monks had many duties in the monastery but one of the Most important was their daily routine where they had to sit, close their eyes and meditate silently for hours at a time, after each meditation they had to report their progress to their mentor. The young monk had difficulty staying focused during this meditation practice for a variety of reasons which made him very angry after the young monk reported his progress or rather his lack of it to his mentor.

He found such a place on the shore of the lake nearby, brought his mat, sat down and began to meditate, but soon a flock of birds splashed in the lake near where the monk was meditating, hearing their noise, the monk opened eyes to see what was happening although the lake shore was quieter than the monastery there were still things that would disturb his peace and again he became angry even though he did not find the peace he was looking for he kept returning to the lake until one day the monks saw a boat tied to the end of a small dock and at that moment an idea occurred to him: why don't I take the boat and row it to the middle of the lake and meditate there in the middle of the lake there will be nothing. to bother me he rode the boat to the middle of the lake and started meditating as expected there was nothing in the middle of the lake to disturb him and he was able to meditate all day at the end of the day he returned to the monastery this continued for a couple of days and the monk was excited that he finally found a place to meditate in peace.
He had not felt angry and he could continue the meditation practice in a calm manner. On the third day, the monk sat in the boat. He rode to the middle of the lake and started meditating again a few minutes later he heard a splash of water and felt the boat rocking he started to get upset because even in the middle of the lake there was someone or something bothering him when he opened In his eyes he saw a ship heading straight towards him. He yelled: Move your boat away or you'll crash into my boat, but the other boat kept coming straight at him and was only a few meters away.
He shouted again, but nothing changed, so the ship incoming. The boat crashed into the monk's boat now he was furious and he shouted who are you and why did you hit my boat in the middle of this vast lake. There was no answer. This angered the young monk even more. He got up to see who was on the other boat. and to his surprise he found that there was no one in the boat, the boat had probably drifted in the breeze and collided with the monk's boat, the monk found his anger dissipating, it was just an empty boat, there was no no one to get mad at at that moment.
He remembered his mentor's question: Do you know what really makes you angry? and then he asked himself: it is not other people, situations, circumstances, it is not the empty ship, but my reaction that causes my anger. He returned to the monastery and began to meditate along with the other monks. None of this is wrong in any way. The mind is simply doing what it was designed to do when we don't understand that its only duty is to help us survive, then we will get angry and frustrated with it. Every conflict stems from an innocent misunderstanding. The duty of our mind is to maintain us. Long live, the duty of our conscience is to help us feel fulfilled. Your soul is the reason you are on this journey in the first place, to find peace, love and joy for yourself. Your mind has done an incredible job at what it was created to do, but now you can free it from its job because we no longer live in nature where death could be just around the corner in a bush if we continue to use our mind we will remain constantly in a state of fight or flight anxiety fear frustration depression anger resentment and all negative emotions because the mind thinks that everything is a threat to our own existence.
If you want to be free, happy, peaceful and full of love, then you will have to stop listening only to your mind and go further by tuning into something much more. greater that will help you not only survive but thrive chapter 4. thoughts versus thinking stop thinking and end your problems Lao Tzu's thoughts are the energetic mental raw materials from which we use to create everything in the world without the which we cannot experience anything I thought it is important to know that thoughts are a noun and are not something we do, but something we have. A thought requires no effort or strength on our part and is something that simply happens;

This is a great example of thoughts versus thoughts. If I ask you a question, you will surely have a thought that will appear in your mind. They are not intrinsically evil, remember they are the energetic mental raw materials from which we create the world. The moment we think our thoughts is when we begin to ride an emotional roller coaster. When we think about our thoughts, we start to judge and criticize the thoughts and I experienced all kinds of internal emotional turmoil when I asked you how much money you wanted to earn, you had a thought about the amount, that thought was neutral and did not cause any emotional effort, in fact, you might have felt expansive and excited.
Only when you started thinking about that thought of how much you wanted to win, which is what caused the self-doubt, unworthiness, anxiety, anger, guilt or any other emotion you may have experienced, this is what I mean. with thinking that is the fundamental cause of all our suffering having the initial thought of how much you wanted to win did not cause you any suffering until you started thinking the thought of how much you wanted to win there is no need to think about our thoughts or judge them, it is of no use to us You're welcome To do this, we may think that thinking is helping us, but all it really does is make us feel all these unwanted negative emotions and make us create reasons why we can't do it or why we shouldn't want it, the only thing that It was useful and useful was the initial thought that came to your mind when I first asked you how much you wanted to make all the thoughts that happened afterward destructive and useless.
Thoughts create. Thought destroys the reason thought destroys. Did you feel that joy and love before you had that thought or after? Take 10 to 15 seconds to answer that question before continuing. What ideas and epiphanies did you have? They felt that way before they had that thought. If you had that thought, it happened after you felt the feelings. So the thought could not have produced the feeling. This leads us to another truth.
It is not necessary to have thoughts or think to feel positive emotions. The beautiful thing about the truth is that it does not need justification because it can be experienced here and now. It is not necessary to prove it to yourself. Don't even rationalize it and you have just experienced this truth first hand through the experiment we just did. Here's why we don't need to have thoughts or think to feel positive emotions like joy and love. Our natural state of B is joy. love, ecstasy, freedom and gratitude, this may be hard to believe because if it is natural, why don't we feel this way all the time?
I will answer this in a moment if we want to see the natural state of something, one of the best ways is to observe nature and its state in its infancy before it is affected or conditioned by its environment, for example let's look at the natural state of a baby, what is the natural, default state of a baby, assuming the baby was not abused, neglected, or had any problems. Without thought we would have nothing to be aware of. like the DVD that contains all the information so that we can watch the movie on the TV, the TV and the DVD player are like Consciousness, they allow us to have a mechanism to bring the information on the DVD to life so that we can watch and experience the movie. The electricity that is needed to power the DVD player and television is like the Universal Mind in that it is the invisible energy force that connects and powers all things. When we say we want to stop thinking, many people assume that we are trying to stop all thoughts.
In general, this is not what we are trying to do now that you know the difference between thoughts. and think that we are working to allow thoughts to come and flow through us while minimizing thought about those thoughts that emerge. The most interesting and almost paradoxical thing about stopping our thinking is that we do not have to do anything to minimize it other than being aware of it. By becoming aware that we are thinking and that this is the fundamental cause of all our suffering, it automatically makes us aware of that. done and we detach ourselves from it, allowing it to settle and pass.
This requires almost no effort and is done through pure Presence in the moment. Here is an analogy from one of my mentors that illustrates this concept. Imagine that I give you a bowl of cloudy, dirty, murky water if I ask you to. How would you clarify the water? How would you do it? Take 15 seconds to see what answers you get before continuing. Most people say something like filtering the water or even boiling it, which most people don't realize. that if we let the container with dirty water sit for a while we can see that the dirt begins to settle on its own in the water and after a while the water clears itself that is how our mind also works if we let our thinking settle without disturbing it by trying to filter or boil it, the thought will calm itself and our minds will be free of the thought.
The natural state of water is clear and the natural state of our minds is also clear if we do so. Don't bother if life starts to feel confusing, disorganized, stressful, not sure what to do next? Now you know it's just because your thinking is stirring up the dirt, making your mind cloudy and hard to see ahead. You can use this as an indicator to help you realize that you are thinking too much. Once we become aware of the fact that we only feel what we are thinking and that thinking is the root cause of our unpleasant experience, we see it for what it really is. and then we allow it.
Calm down by giving yourself space and little by little we will see how we begin to have a clear mind again. You can also compare thinking to quicksand. The more we fight our thinking, the more it amplifies negative emotions and the worse it gets. From feeling anxious, stressed, joyful and peaceful, we cannot control or prevent the oscillation between thinking and not thinking, but we can minimize the time spent thinking and thus create more moments in which we feel joyful, peaceful, passionate and full of love. Although we are not able to control when we start thinking it may seem like we are cursed with an inevitable destiny it is not something to worry about because we can always return to the state of not thinking it is just a part of our beautiful human experience that can give us the true Peace for us is knowing that we always have this state of pure peace, love and wholeness beneath any thought we may have at any given moment.
That beautiful state that we always want is something we can never lose, only forget, but only because we forget it. It doesn't mean it's not just like when it gets dark and the sun sets we know that the sun is always there we just can't see it if we think that when the sun sets it will never come back then it is understandable that we have many anxious and fearful thoughts about it. The same is true for our state of being, we really are a moment away from remembering that we always have that infinite well of clarity, love, joy, peace and fulfillment that we will sometimes forget, but when we remember and realize that we are trapped in our thoughts when we experience negative emotions that are the only ones that will allow us to return to our beautiful natural state.
All we have to do is remember it, know that this is just our thought and have peace in knowing that the sun is there. It is not gone forever and it will re-emerge very soon. Having that understanding will allow us to appreciate the night for its existence and its role in the universe, from that we can see how it should be part of our human experience and begin to appreciate its beauty as much as the sun Chapter 8. Now let's get back to the question of what do we do with our goals, dreams and ambitions, if we stop thinking as I pondered these questions, an incredible amount of fear and anxiety began to arise because I thought I would have to drop everything and become a monk in middle of the mountains. I definitely wasn't ready to do that as much as I wish I was that enlightened and attached to my life. I really enjoyed being out in the world, experiencing the fullness of life with other people, even if a large part of my life was filled with suffering. what I have discovered about what to do with our goals and dreams with this new understanding, as we mentioned in previous chapters, there is a difference between thoughts and thoughts, the source of the thoughts and the source of the thought are different and the source is what will do will dictate whether it causes suffering or not, similarly, where our goals and dreams come from will determine whether we feel good about pursuing them or not, like everything in this world, there is nothing inherently good or bad, we are just doing things that seed goals, dreams andambitions do not. good or bad, so it's not really about one situation or another, but more about where those goals come from.
There are two sources of goals, goals created from inspiration and goals created from desperation. When goals are created out of desperation, we feel a great sense of Scarcity and urgency feel heavy like a burden, we may even feel intimidated by the colossal task we have just committed to. Imposter syndrome and self-doubt start to set in and we always feel like we never have enough time for anything we do. Life frantically, desperately searches for answers and ways we can achieve our goal faster, always looking outside, never feeling enough or ever getting enough, worst of all if we achieve our goal within a few hours. or days later, all those same feelings.
The deficiencies begin to resurface. We begin to feel unhappy with what we have done, unable to savor our achievements and because what we have done never seems enough, we feel the same about ourselves, not knowing what else to do, we look around for external guidance. to see what others are doing and see if they continue doing the same thing and so we move on and proceed to set another goal out of desperation in an attempt to escape all the negative feelings that eat away at our soul when we dig a little deeper into this type of goals we set, usually they are all means goals and not end goals, in other words, the goals we set in this state of desperation are all a means to an end, there is always a reason why we want to achieve the goal. goal and it's always for something else, for example, we want to create a multi-million dollar business because we want financial freedom or we want to quit our job so we can escape the stress and anxiety that comes from it, we feel like we have to do these things.
Instead of wanting, goals created out of desperation are often realistic and created from analyzing our past and what we thought would be plausible in the moment, feels very limited and limited, although these types of goals and Dreams can excite us in the moment as soon as we start trying to create it we feel a lack and are desperate to make the dream come true, paradoxically if we end up achieving the goal created by desperation we end up feeling emptier than before the next logical thing we tend towards What What we have to do is create an even greater goal out of even greater desperation to hopefully make us feel whole inside.
This is how most of us set our goals and how we live our lives. I also don't say this to criticize or judge at all. but to reveal the reality, the only reason I was able to describe it in painful, excruciating detail was because that was my life. Here's the good news. It's not your fault that you set goals that way, if that's the case, and there is a way out. It is through creating goals and dreams out of inspiration rather than desperation. When we create goals out of inspiration versus desperation. It is a completely different story in this state we are creating because we feel deeply moved, inspired and expansive.
It feels like a calling rather than an obligation. It feels like there is a powerful life force that comes from within us and wants to express itself through us to manifest in the physical world. That's why painters paint, why dancers dance, why writers write, why singers sing, even if they never get paid or make a living. from there we feel drawn by a force to create something that we gravitate towards we feel compelled to do so when we feel like this we are creating from a place of abundance rather than lack. The most amazing thing of all is that in this state we are not creating for any reason other than simply because we want to, we are not creating because we feel like we have to, we are creating because we simply want to and there is no other reason why we are not creating these goals for be able to do something else. or use it as a means to get something else we want.
This creation comes from a place of fullness and abundance. It is an overflow of love and joy for life. This is why most of us want or have children. It is not to be able to milk. our children for their money once they are old enough to work and hopefully use it as a retirement plan. We want to have children because we want to share the abundance of what we have with them and it comes from a place of sharing what we have. a lot of Compared to trying to get something out of them, this feeling of deep inspiration is incredibly difficult to describe because it doesn't come from this world, it doesn't really come from us, but through us, from something bigger than us.
I like to call this divine inspiration because the ideas and vision of what we want to create seem much bigger than what we could have imagined or devised on our own, since divine inspiration does not come from us, but from something bigger, It does not analyze or rely on data from the past or what. you or anyone in the world has already achieved divine inspiration it is what happens when you create innovative creations and inventions that seemed impossible not long ago it knows no limits or restrictions it is an incredibly expansive force that energizes and uplifts us making us feel like we are At the height of life in this state, we feel complete, full of unconditional love, joy and peace, we do not analyze, compare, criticize, judge or rationalize anything, but we truly live, love, share, give, create, grow and We nurture, it truly is one of the greatest feelings we can experience and it is truly a gift that we can experience the Divine as humans and it is because we are from the same source that everyone has experienced this deep feeling and desire to create something wonderful in the world before.
In the next paragraph I encourage you to try this theory, pause here and spend a few minutes thinking about times in your life when you felt an overwhelming feeling and desire to create something magnificent because you felt deeply inspired and called to do it, it doesn't matter if you actually did it. Whether you created it or not, but think about a time when you felt that the feeling of creating from inspiration is simply not one of the most amazing feelings in the entire world. Most of us feel this divine inspiration, but then we repress it as soon as we start thinking about doing it, we start having doubts, we rationalize why we can't do it, we tell ourselves it's not realistic, how we should focus on more things. important and that we are not good enough to do it as soon as we start doing it.
Thinking about the idea that we want to create it completely turns off the source of that inspiration and we go back to living life as usual. Returning to the feelings of Doubt, anxiety, frustration, sadness and feeling confined, trapped and frustrated with our lives, we can only follow one calling at a time, whether it be inspiration or despair, in the present moment, the two cannot coexist at the same time. time, but we can fluctuate between the two. two, depending on how much thinking there is when we stop thinking, we don't stop having goals and dreams, we actually return to our true nature and start creating goals and dreams out of inspiration versus desperation, we start allowing thoughts from the universe. come to our mind to lead us to divine inspiration to create something that has never been created before in the world when we follow divine inspiration we feel alive, joy, love, peace and fulfillment, then how can we know When is a goal or dream created? of inspiration or despair a simple way to know if a goal or dream is created from inspiration is to remember the distinction between thoughts and thoughts goals and dreams that come in the form of thought are created from inspiration goals and dreams that come from Thoughts are created out of desperation, usually when we think or analyze, judge, criticize, rationalize and use our past to try to create our new goals, but this way of creating goals feels extremely restrictive and limiting, we generally don't feel good about creating these types of goals. and when we chase them we don't feel very good either, since everything is due to desperation.
Another way to identify the two is to feel how you feel energetically. Goals and dreams created out of desperation will feel very heavy, exhausting, confining, and empty. I feel a lot of scarcity, fear and stress because we have to do it or are forced to do it with these types of goals. It seems that if we do not achieve this there will be dire consequences, hence the high pressure and what is at stake. I'm sure you can see now how this can create a feeling of despair. Furthermore, we feel that we are trying to achieve these goals to escape our current situation and get out of something our goals created in this state are usually middle goals, meaning that we want to achieve these goals so that we can do something else afterwards, such as having the goal of leaving our job, most likely you have this goal because you want to do something that you really enjoy, but you can see what this goal of leaving your job is like.
Usually you set just a medium goal so that you can do something else or have a goal of making a million dollars because you want to have financial freedom and travel the world. These objectives are always a means to an end and not the end itself. There is always a reason why we want to achieve these goals and that makes us feel very empty inside. I want to emphasize that none of these goals are inherently bad or that we shouldn't have these goals of wanting to make money or quit our jobs if these goals are created from an inspiration that is completely different, it just depends on the source of the goals and not necessarily the goal itself.
This is an important distinction to make, otherwise you will spend most of your time debating and stressing over whether or not this is the right goal for you, there is no right or wrong goal, only goals created from the inspiration or despair, it just depends on how you want to feel inside and when you are aware of these two types of goals and how they manifest, then you can achieve it. being able to feel blissful while creating amazing things in your life, on the other hand, goals and dreams created from the inspiration that comes from thought feel very light, energizing, uplifting and expansive, we tend to feel excited, joyful and Most importantly, inspired.
We don't feel like we have to create it, but we want to do it. Instead of feeling like you need to do it, you feel inspired. There is virtually no pressure because we are not trying to get out of something or escape our current situation by achieving this. Objective: There is no scarcity or urgency because we don't feel like we are creating from a place of lack but from a place of abundance and we just want to share it with the world because it comes from inspiration, we are not doing it. getting something out of it in order to do something else is not an objective means but simply an end in itself there is no reason why we need to create it we are not creating so that we can feel complete but we are creating because we feel complete and want to give from that place without expecting anything from it.
I'm sure by now you can see the big difference between the two and you can tell what type your goals are currently in if most of your goals are in the despair category don't worry because most people have goals created out of desperation, including myself before I knew a better way, so how do we create goals and dreams out of inspiration versus desperation? Creating goals and dreams from inspiration is not something you have to try to do. Naturally, we have thoughts of infinite inspiration all the time. If you look at children, they naturally have the wildest dreams and imaginations about what they want to do.
It hardly even registers in their minds that they can't do something most of the time. The only difference between us and children is that we have learned to shut down all these inspirational thoughts that contain our dreams, hopes and goals that we really want to see manifested in the world. Our minds are more filled with reasons why we can. More than just thoughts about what we want to create, we innately have an infinite flow of inspiration coming through us, but we block that flow as soon as we start thinking about the thoughts we have, causing self-doubt, self-sabotage, and anxiety. the flow of inspiration to create like a river the river always flows until man puts something there to block it like a dam, then when the dam is there we wonder why there are so many fish dying, animals disappearing and strength decreasingwhen all we have to do is return the river to its natural state and everything will work perfectly fine the way nature designed it.
The same applies to our minds and our goals that we always dream of, having big goals and knowing what to do at all times when we are. We tap into our inner wisdom and our inner intelligence, free of thoughts if we simply don't think about our thoughts. Any type of thoughts about dreams, goals and desires that arise naturally are all from the Divine and this is how goals are created out of inspiration versus desperation. The question that helps me a lot to resolve my thoughts and take advantage of the unlimited well of possibilities of what I can create is that if I had infinite money, I had already traveled the world, I was not afraid and I did not receive any recognition for what I do, what would I do? would do? do or what would create whenever we ask questions answers always arise, it is impossible for our brain to hear a question and not give an answer, so when you ask yourself this question, anything that starts to arise without any manual thought will be from the Divine and from inspiration versus desperation, the way you ask the question is extremely important because it eliminates most of the thinking, fear, criticism and external reasons of why you would want to do something, so focus your answer on what you really want to create generally.
It is for no other reason than simply wanting to create it because it is fun without any influence from the material world. Try asking the question and see what comes up. We've been dating indefinitely for six years and every few months after that, the first time I asked her I asked her why she loved me and even up to this point she still says the same thing. I don't know, I just know. I love you so much, this bothered me a little for so long because I didn't understand why she didn't know why she loved me. I could list 50 reasons why she loved her, but she couldn't even list a few at all times. For the years I loved her so much and didn't really care that she didn't know, I just accepted it and continued to love her anyway because I couldn't help it.
It wasn't until months ago that I realized why she couldn't think of reasons why she loved me. I began to question her reasons for loving McKenna. Then I had an epiphany that changed my life forever. I wondered if I loved her because of her laugh or because she loves to help other people, what happens if one day she doesn't laugh or help someone that day? Do I stop loving her if she doesn't do the things I said were the reasons she loved her? Would I notice if not? I create reasons why I loved her, so my love for her is conditional on those specific traits or actions and if she doesn't do them, then I don't love her.
This, of course, is not true. At that moment I was amazed. Inspiring insight that McKenna couldn't list the reasons why she loved me because her love for me was unconditional there were no reasons why she loved me because if she had reasons it would mean that she only loved me if I exuded those traits or doing those things that She had it in mind Her love for me is not based on my mood or what I did Her love for me goes beyond all reasons and does not come from a place of reciprocity She doesn't love me because I love her Neither do I.
She loves me for what I can do for her. She is experiencing so much love within herself that it is an outpouring of abundance of love that she is giving to me unconditionally, trying to articulate the feeling of this and where she is coming from. Probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my life because I'm trying to describe the indescribability of this experience.
