Basically, I'm going to take this base planter basket and I'm going to make two slices on the sides and there's only about four, maybe five inches long, and then I'm going to add hot glue it into a triangle shape and then loop it over the other side. holding it down until it dries and then stick it on the other side that way you can create whatever shape you want.

More Interesting Facts About,

dollar tree diy spring easter decor 2020 easy diy decor ideas momma from scratch...

I wanted this to be more of a basket look, so I think I achieved it by just making those two slices. Now I'm going to take my flowers. I have some cotton stems, some boxwood and then some lilacs and some tulips. The tulips came from Michaels, they were $2.00 but you get a lot more than you would at Dollar Tree so keep an eye out because it was one of their door smashers last weekend and they may still have them on sale, so they're really pretty and really inexpensive so I'm just taking a foam block that I glued together. that all the way to the base of my little basket here and I'm just alternating all the greenery and flowers in there and you don't need too much to fill this, but I think the different flowers really added a little more depth and interest to your basic little flower box here that we created and then I'm just adding it on some cotton stems that I had.

The next step was to add some ribbon around the basket, so I just made a regular tie. and then a normal bow for this, you can be really fancy and make a couple of loops on your boat, it's completely up to you, but I thought it looked really pretty and then I went ahead and cut the extra one into a V shape at the beginning. I made just a normal slot and then I thought no, I want to shape it there. It's best if you just fold it and then cut it inwards and that's it, then you can go ahead and hot glue it on. a little cord on the back to secure it that way I can hang it on the wall and I love it so next project I will use these pink tulips which are actually from Michaels again they were $2 each and have a tulip larger. shape that costs $4 and I think you get between eight and nine of them so it depends if you want the smaller or larger wreath shape you can pick them up at Hobby Lobby Walmart for a few

dollar

s or even at the thrift store for a

dollar

, that's where I get most of mine from other projects, after you cut the stems you're just going to start weaving them into the very simple vine wreath and I'm going to make mine go in the same direction, you can do whatever works for you, but this is so nice.

I love how beautiful this pink is. Now you can choose any color to sew. It's too bright. You could do it in cream color. You could do it. And, if you want, you can do it in yellow. I thought it just needs some greenery. and you don't have to do this, I think it's beautiful on its own, but I like this boxwood eucalyptus, it's basically like a mix, but it's from Walmart, it's two dollars a package and one package was enough to fill this wreath and then I added some leftover white tulips from the last project in there and just to add a little bit of contrast and then I pulled out a couple and I'm adding a burlap bow here that I had on hand and then I'm taking some.
Dollar Tree ribbon and I just fold it to make a simple bow so here I'm just folding it and then cutting inward that way it creates that beautiful V shape there and then I decided to make a single loop for this bow and I'm taking a little bit of the extra ribbon here and I'm going to fold it towards the middle and I'm just going to stick it there that way it's going to give us a nice, pretty bow. Obviously you can use wire like most people do, but sometimes I just don't feel like taking that extra step and doing it when hot gluing, I just do the same thing and put a little glue on the back and glue it on and this is how this wreath came out, I think it is absolutely beautiful, it has such a vibrant color, you have to tell me what is your favorite project of all the ones I share with you today over the next year, why you will want to create a template for yourself, you can print a bunny. line or you can just do it freehand like I'm doing here and just cut it out and that way you can use it as a template for your fabric.
I ended up using some burlap fabric that I had you pick up at Walmart. Usually $2 per yard, it is very economical and will work for many different projects. Lately I've been liking more muted, more neutral tones so I decided to do this double layered that way and we cut once and then we basically have two. bunnies I'm adding a little bit of hot glue and then a wooden dowel in the middle and then I'm just going to add hot glue everywhere else that way I can apply the other side covering that you can't fill this if you want it to be full it depends of you now.
I'm going to take some hot glue to wrap it around the dowel and then use these three little cubes that you can find at Dollar Tree and you'll just glue them together. Next, down to the base, I take some leftover fabric from another project and I basically turned it into a V and I'm basically making a little bow tie here and wrapping it with a little bit of hot glue and What I like about using fabric and your own template is that you can make them big or small, so if you want a couple of different sizes you can do that, so here I drew a different type of bunny.
I wanted it to be seen a little more. different and again I dropped my own template. I cut this out and left enough so I can fold the fabric that way it will be double sided again. It did not have traditional polyethylene fillings. I just used some batting left over from a headboard I made last month so I just cut it into shape and then added some hot glue and then hot glued both sides of the fabric together and again I'm doing that . for his tummy I also would have liked it to be a little thicker and fluffier but I'm working with what I have on hand I'm trying to do that so if you have leftover fabric at home maybe you can make some really cute bunnies now I'm just taking some twine from Dollar Tree or wrapping it into a bow shape and then I'm going to cut it out and you think it's starting to look really cute now I'm going to put a wooden bunny on it. a taco inside him and that way he will defend me.
I forgot to do that before. I had three cubes glued together and I went ahead and glued the base of the bunny on there and that really worked and then I took another wooden one. pin and I made two of these slices here. I just cut it along the base. I had some hot glue and then I glued it on and that way it helped him stand up a little better and then I also put a cube on the back and that's how the bunny looked. I think they are absolutely adorable and are perfect for a season like Easter where you just want something very subtle, nothing too much for the next project. using this canvas frame, this actually comes at Dollar Tree with a soft canvas cover, you'll just want to tear it off and remove the nails and then I'm using Waverly wax paint, you can find Walmart picks it up.
About two or three dollars and it will last you a long time. The next step was to make a little template of a truck, so I just pulled that out and then drew it on the craft paper. I'm using the craft paper. at Michaels they have so many different options in all the different stores so keep an eye out. I'm applying some Mod Podge to the back of the truck and will apply it to the canvas that Dollar Tree carries. a 2 by 3, 4 by 6 and 8 by 10, that's the 8 by 10 I'm applying it to, the only thing I wish I had done was apply it a little lower on the canvas and maybe a little larger, and I'm Using a marker for this, you can use a paint pen or you can use some wooden letters and glue them on.
It's clear to you. This fountain is similar to the Magnolia sky and then I'll also take some hydrangea leaves and petals and glue them on. With a couple of lilac petals I ended up filling the truck just a little bit, but I think it's really adorable. Now I'm adding some hot glue. You can use e6000 to make this a little more permanent and then I'm going to glue the front to the canvas and now I have a really adorable spring sign to display around the house and you can customize it however you want for the next project.
I'm using this Easter Bunny sign from Dollar Tree. and you're going to want to take off the hands and the backrest and we're actually going to use the back. I just went ahead and took some sandpaper and rubbed it down to get it nice and flat. I grabbed some Waverly chalk paint. the white one and this one is also from Walmart it lasts a long time but you can use regular white acrylic paint just use what you have on hand. I went ahead and covered the entire bunny with it. I didn't make a super thick layer that I wanted. look a little bit more on the rougher side and then you'll grab some twine that you can find at Dollar Tree and start gluing around the edge.
Now you can write whatever you want. I decided to write "He is risen." and I'm trying to imitate the Raiden font here. I took a small twig with some purple and white flowers on it, glued it on and then for the eyeballs, I messed up a little on this part, they are a little too big. and I just used some dollar

tree

twine for this and they just look a little creepy to me. I don't like the shape I made, so don't make round eyeballs, maybe almond shaped or something, so I took a little bit of that. leftover twine and I just traced the edge of his ears onto his face and then I just cut it off and it looks really cute, it's just his eyes that bother me.
I'm choosing these cubes that you can find at Dollar Tree in the craft area and you'll want about six or seven of them for the base and you'll just glue them together. It's very simple. You can't paint this if you want. It is completely up to you to match them and you will match three. closer together because they are alone and basically you are going to make it a T shape with a longer top and you are just going to glue it that way, it basically serves as a support, so add some hot glue or a 6000 and glue the base and that's how the bunny sign came out.
I think he's really cute, his eyeballs are a little drastic for me, they're also a little crooked, but hey, you know he's still cute for the next project, you'll want to use some foam board or some regular wood. If you have regular wood, I would definitely suggest using it. I went ahead and cut two strips at four inches high and then at the length they were I think it says 20 inches give or take 22 inches and then I went ahead and cut another one at 3 inches and then the two sides are also at 3 inches, like this which I'm just using a little bit of hot glue here and basically just putting the side supports on and you're going to want to hold my little helper came and decided to help me here and then you're going to glue the other side on we're basically making a flower pot and then I took the measurement which was approximately three and a quarter for the bottom piece.
I had cut four, which are a little too big for us, which is why Dollar Tree also sells foam boards. You can use regular cardboard, but again, if you have access to real wood. Make it real wood, that way you can use it from time to time and it will last you many years compared to foam boards which are more seasonal, but I just wanted to show you because it's a cheap way to do something. You can also use Dollar Tree mirrors to do this, so I'm adding a drop of hot glue and attaching the bottom base here.
The next step is to use a foam block. I didn't have a ton extra so I cut this one out. below is super messy so yeah you just have to deal with it if you decide to cut it, obviously there are better ways than using scissors. I'll glue it to the bottom of your box and ignore the front. I try to use something else, but I didn't like the way it looked, so I ended up deleting that news and everything else. Now I'm taking that eucalyptus so you can discover it at Walmart, it's two dollars a package and you get quite a lot. you will only need one bundle for this project and i will cut it at the base that way the stems will be nice and long and thenI'm basically going to glue them into the foam and you can do that since they're wired. you can bend them in any direction you want and go all the way down, then I'm going to use some pink flowers from Dollar Tree that they have.
They're very subtle and they're so pretty that they have this kind of penny thing on them and I'm just sticking them in. I also talked about some lamb's ear that you can find at Walmart, it's only 97 cents. I carry two different types, the smaller type is a little better for something like this versus the larger type is better for, like I say, a crown. I'm using white paint. I have Waverly ivory paint and then I have Waverly wax paint here and I. I'm using the Waverly paint that I just bought at Walmart and it's lasted me two years and I have small bottles so I apply the white paint first then I go on to the ivory and then I take some of that wax paint and just apply it with dry brush and now I'm just taking a pen and basically making lines like an overlapping sign here and that's just going to be a base because I'm going to go in now with thread that you can Pick it up from Dollar Tree and I'm going to glue it all the way down.
I'm going to make two strips for the bottom. I'm going to do four to five on the sides and then I'm going to To follow those pen lines that I made with the twine to give it a lot of character and it turned out really good, the next part of this DIY is to take these wooden egg shapes that you can Found at Dollar Tree, they are sold in packs of five. In the package you can also find the felt ones and the telephone ones, so if you can't find the wooden ones, don't worry, it's okay, just get some paper.
I grabbed this paper from a Dollar Tree book and went ahead and made it so the words were vertical versus the egg and took some Mod Podge. I'm going to spread it all over the eggs and we're going to take that piece of paper and press it onto the eggs to give them a whole new look. You can also put Waverly wax paint on these to give them a full wood look if you want or just leave them natural, it's up to you, so I'm going to take some thread and hot glue and basically I'm going to hot glue the shape of the letter that I want to spell and then place the twine on top and then once you've done all that, you're going to take some popsicle sticks and add some glue to the letter. back of the egg, glue that popsicle all the way to the base and you're going to pop them into the wooden box that we just made with our flowers and now you've created a beautiful centerpiece that you can change up for spring, Easter, including summer.
