I used two sets of rotating towers from Dollar Tree for the little

lantern

. and four for the big one. I also used this tool from Dollar Tree. You can also get it at a hardware store or you can use any leveler. I opened my Jenga boxes and the way I determined how I was going to size them was one. The vertical Jenga was the same as three, so I determined how big I wanted the lanterns by this measurement. You will also notice that some of them will bring a Jenga piece with writing. I didn't want any to go to waste, so Use them for the base and I use them upside down.

More Interesting Facts About,

You'll also want to inspect them to make sure your Jenga pieces are straight. Some of them are straight on one side and broken on the other, so you can't use them. all off, as you can see here, they don't connect completely, so make sure you inspect all your parts now. I'm going to build my smallest now, my smallest. I just did two vertical Jenga and then I did three. rows of six and I kept removing Jenga until everything fit together, making sure it was perfectly straight. This part is actually very important because you want everything to be nice and level so that it looks nice and not crooked in the end, so before you glue anything.

I'm making sure the jungle pieces I chose fit together perfectly. This is for my smaller Gen gun. It's a row of two, six, six and two. I'm going to do two of these and then for my bigger Jenga, Do three nine nine nine and three and I'm going to do two of these too, one for the top and one for the bottom, so I'm going to carefully set them aside because I want to keep them in the same order and then I'm going to join them together using gorilla

wood

glue. The material is amazing, but instead of using the nozzle, I will spread the glue using a popsicle stick.

In my last tutorial I did this I used the grout and had to sand everything a lot so I thought this would save me some sanding and make sure my

wood

stain would actually apply to the wood so I'm adding glue on all sides of my Jenga piece except the sides that are going to be exposed to the outside and then I press them against the Jenga next to it making sure it's perfectly level and you'll see here that I'm trying to spread it out as thin as possible but making sure that I'm covering the entire Jenga piece so I'm not going to show you how I glue this completely because that would be completely boring, but I do want to show you at least one row and how I'm attaching everything like I said, make sure you're not adding glue to the sides that are going to be on the outside and that everything is completely level and make sure to add some type of pressure so that everything is nice and adhered and you don't have any loose pieces.
Forget to mention that you need to make sure you are doing this on a surface that you don't mind it sticking to, no matter how thin a layer you add it will always seep to the bottom so make sure you have this on. a table that you don't mind having to scrape later when you're finally done. It had glue seeping through the top, but make sure you don't spread that glue, you can always remove it later with pliers or sand. I took it down and now I took my level and moved it a little so that it doesn't get stuck to the table to build the columns for the little ones.
I just need a basic four row column and I made four of these for the little ones. lantern for the large one I made a double column, so I'm going to make six. I'm going to make two identical pieces so you'll see here I'm just putting them together by adding glue to the bottom and I'm actually adding twice as much as this will hold the entire lantern and like I said before you'll see the glue seeping out and You might be tempted to clean it but don't clean it, it's much easier to remove when it's in small pieces like Then I took my love ler and put it next to the column and built another column right next to it.
This saved me a little time so I'm making two columns to make one if that makes sense, so when I have these two I'm going to turn one sideways and make a little L shape. Now I'm going to join them together using my glue to gorilla wood, just like I've been doing with all my other pieces, and I'm going to end up making four of these for my large lantern, since it was much larger than the other one. I felt it was necessary to duplicate the columns once I joined them together. I'm going to double check to make sure they're perfectly level because they're all This is very important to make sure your flashlight is straight and as you can see I have a nice little L shape everything is nice and level and in the end it should have four of these, no matter which direction you place them. face them because you can always turn them over and once you have the shape of your lantern you will know which direction you are going to place, I mean you will see in just a second I will make sure everything is completely dry. and I'm going to take my top and bottom piece and to put them together, what I'm going to do is turn this over and use just a regular box that I had.
Actually, this is a one dollar one.

tree

wall arts and I laid it on its side and decided which direction I wanted it to face so if the biggest part goes in this direction then this part will go in that direction when you make yours at home you will see exactly what what I want to say now I made sure I have the leveler where it needs to be so I can place them correctly and I'm going to use my Gorilla wood glue to make sure that on this piece I have a

real

ly generous amount. I checked both sides. to make sure they were perfectly straight and then I grabbed my top piece just to double check to make sure they fit perfectly.
Everything is dry. I'm going to lift it up and place my other two columns basically mirroring. those are already attached, so I want to make sure that if one side shows the single side of the column, the other side shows it too. If that makes any sense, you'll see in just a second. Now I'm going to take my top piece while everything is still wet and I'm going to add a very generous amount of glue to those top pieces with this. I don't really care if the glue leaks a little because it will leak onto the top of the lantern that no one will see, make sure all the corners are lined up and your lantern looks straight.
I added a little bit of weight to mine and it all dried and this is what it looks like on the double side, this is what it looks like on the single, so you have to choose which way you want to wear it. Now I'm just adding a little bit of weight while it dries and then we'll work on the top, which I'll only take four pieces of. Jenga and line it up like this. I'm going to join those four pieces together using glue. This is actually very easy and I made this same shape and the same amount for both the small and the large one, so I'm going to add glue to the bottom of these two. pieces this is really important and then here I'm just going to add two Jenga pieces without any glue and I'm going to add two more to that side, my last two Jenga pieces will just have glue on the sides so they connect to those top pieces , none on the bottom, because once that dries, you'll want to be able to take out those extra pieces that you added, which are just spacers, so once you're done and it's completely dry, you'll have a nice little top for your lantern and like I said, this is what it looks like when it's single, this is double, so you decide where you want to put your flashlight.
I liked how the simple column looked better, so this is where I'm at. in a position of mine and of course I'm in a position where I use my wood glue for added security. You can add small nails to the columns and the top is totally up to you. This was pretty safe in my book, so I left it. when everything was completely dry I stained it with Minwax dark walnut and just used a regular cheap rag and started rubbing it in there. I'm going to make the bottom part for you, you see why I didn't really want to.
To clean the glue, this is the area where the glue was wiped off and doesn't really hold the stain for the rest of the lantern. He maintained the stain beautifully. I just rubbed it on there and made as many layers as I wanted. I don't really include this in the cost of the flashlight because it is the same dye I have been using from my tray to toriel. I've used this for a lot of things and you can probably make a good number of lanterns using this little stain thingy so here's what it looks like and I went ahead and made both of my lanterns even though some of the areas aren't stained.
I like how they look, this is how they look side by side so you can see a difference and they are both dyed to add an extra touch. I use this rope from Dollar Tree and simply cut a small piece and hot glued it to the top of the lantern. I hot glued it to the inside and once it was done BAM I had a beautiful wooden lantern that can be used as a home or wedding decoration and is super affordable.
