for any use you want. I've seen them everywhere, especially online, and some of them are actually very expensive. I actually saw it on Pier one's Instagram and it's this little cart that says it all about the kitchen sink and then I saw another one that was adorable at Michaels and that one was about $30 so I thought why not recreate them using materials from Dollar Tree. In this video I have two Dollar Tree versions and one with a little added bonus that really didn't end up being much more expensive than the Dollar Tree one, so I really hope you enjoyed this video and stick around by subscribing to this channel. once you hit the subscribe button we instantly become best friends best friends yeah and hit the notification bell.

See you every time I post a video, let's go ahead and get started on this project. I'm going to use these cans from Dollar Tree. These are flower pots and you can paint them any color you want, but you will be able to see the flowers and the garden because it is indented, so if you don't want to, you can use something like this or one of the larger buckets, but I can see here that there is an indentation , so you will see it no matter what color you paint it. I wanted mine to look like an

enamel

tub, but I used Rust-oleum z' bright white.

I prefer to use Rust-oleum over krylon when it comes to projects like this, it's just a personal preference but you can use whatever you want so I'm turning it around and tried to remove as much of the decals as possible but no one will see this and I will move on. and spray everything with my spray paint and then I'll go ahead and spray paint the inside. I waited until the spray paint was completely dry before turning it over and painting the inside. It's very cold outside, which means it takes a lot longer. for things to dry, so make sure you're patient with this or you'll end up with a lot of paint drips now that everything is completely dry.

I'm going to go ahead and add my details and you can do this in any order you want. I want paint or feet first, but I wanted to add the feet and for that I used the Dollar Tree Chess Set. Now it will bring 16 of these pieces, which is what I use for the feet, so you can make 4 planters with this and I'm going to attach it using the e6000. I'll leave the link to that little key below because I always get questions and now I'm going to start figuring out where I'm going to put them.

You can mark this with a ruler. You can put them all the way to the edges, but I wanted to make sure they held the weight evenly, so I tried to center them as much as possible. The inside of these chess pieces is hollow, so you're going to apply your e6000 to the edges. The edges are very generous and make sure you allow it enough time to dry because it will hold all your weight so the minimum should be 24 hours and make sure you don't skip the drying time because this is really important once it is completely dry, you should be able to hold it without it falling and it should support your full weight.
Now you can leave it blank, but I'm going to go ahead and outline those letters using an acrylic paint pen and I'll link this below, but you can find it at Walmart. You can also use a Sharpie if you don't want to spend extra money or a very fine brush and paint, so I'll just go over the indentations with my pen. and it doesn't have to be perfectly clean if it looks a little shabby it's okay because it's supposed to look a little worn and if you don't want to do this at all you don't have to, you can even do it. take some sandpaper and polish some of that white so that the original color shows through.
All up to you. I'm working from the outside in so I don't smear any of the letters now because I'm recording this, I can't really move it around too much, but if it's a lot easier for you to turn things around and move things around, go ahead and do that, that's what works for you. makes it easier, it's very difficult to get angles that actually appear on camera, which is why you see me struggling to move this around DR outlined on both sides because it's on the back. I'm going to use an angled brush and some Apple Barrel Matte Black Paint.
This is like 97 cents at Walmart and What I'm going to do is line that lip that you see at the top and bottom to make it look even more like a tub of polish. Now you can go ahead and do this with a foam brush and it will probably make it a little easier. You can even just dip your finger in there and outline it. It's up to you how you want to do it. This doesn't have to look very good either. In fact, the more worn it looks, the better. I did the same on the top making sure it spilled a little to the inside and I'm pretty sure using a foam brush would have made this process much quicker but it's up to you what you use and hit and miss with my brush I'm going to start making little scuff marks, so I'm just going to wet my brush and just a few random little pieces where it looks like the paint might have chipped.
You can also take some orange paint and create little rough spots. I accidentally dipped my finger in paint and created little dots on the other side and I think it looks great so I left a version like this and added my Meyer stuff and my towels and I think this is the simplest version, the cheapest and very cute for the Second version from Dollar Tree I decided to add a faucet using a candy cane that I found on clearance at Dollar Tree. You can skip this step and just buy PVC pipe at Home Depot, but since this is all Dollar Tree, I use this candy cane.
I removed everything. and I cut the bottom. Sorry I lost that footage and since it has all that seasonal writing on there I decided to spray paint it black and for the handles I use these little soap pumps I bought at Dollar Tree. You can also search. I visited your house to see if maybe you have soap pumps that are ready to be recycled and used and then I gave everything a coat of matte black from Risto Liam. This looks shiny when you start spray painting, but dries beautifully. matte tone oh, everything is dry, it's starting to look a little more put together, you can still see the writing and the indentations, so if you prefer PVC pipe, it would probably look a little better, but I think it looks really good for an all over version of the

dollar

tree

.
I'm going to add a strip of e6000 right here because I want it right in the middle and since it doesn't dry instantly I'm also going to add a little bit of hot glue to keep it in place while it dries, I'm going to try to leave this as centered as possible and once it's dry, I'll add my handles using the same mixture of East 6000 and hot glue. Oh, this will overlap just a little bit on the lip, but I feel like it makes it look a lot more realistic and I think it looks fantastic. I think this version would look great next to your sink, so I decided to add my Meyers dish soap and hickory scrubbers.
This video is definitely not sponsored by the Grove collaboration, but if you want to try them out, they have a ton of deals right now or if you sign up, they give you hand soap as well as paper towels, a ton of freebies, and yes You are already a customer, you will get free nut scrubbers. So I'll leave that link below, but I love this version or my not totally Dollar Tree version. I'm going to use the same candy cane, although since it's not all Dollar Tree, you can use PVC pipe and I'll move on. and make as straight a vertical cut as possible using really good scissors because this plastic is pretty tough.
Now I'm going to spray paint it the same color as a tub, but you can spray paint this silver gold whatever color you want your faucet to be. I just didn't want to go through the hassle of matching the same gold as my faucet so I went ahead and did white and when it was completely dry I used this little multi turn hose from Lowe's on the website it says 6:18 but I paid about four

dollar

s for it, so I don't know how true the website is. I added some e6000 to my pipe and placed it and it fit perfectly and now I'm going to connect it the same way I did the other one. one using hot glue and six thousand after seeing them all together.
I regret not painting this matte black too, but I still think it looks super cute. I made sure it was perfectly straight and then used it as a planter, but of course, you can also use it in your bathroom to store hand soap and towels, so that's it. Those are the three versions of the

enamel

ed bathtub. I really hope you enjoyed this video. Be sure to check the description of all items used. Groove's collaborative offering and thank you very much for watching until next time.
