DIY DOLLAR TREE SPRING FRONT PORCH DECOR

. I am very excited about this video. I don't know how much DIY I'll be doing yet, but I'll be there. I'll definitely let you know if it's your first time here. Welcome. I think this whole video is all Dollar Tree, so starting with one of these baskets, also one of these serving trays and then a plant hanging chain, these have three. Strands, I'm only going to use two of them, so here I'm just marking where I'm going to connect the string to the tray and also to the basket, and taking my hot tool, I'm going to melt it. hole and you guys, if you don't have one of these hot tools in your crafting arsenal, what are you waiting for? They're not very expensive and I've been using them a lot or I've been using them a lot for some of my crafts, so now I'm just going to take some white acrylic paint and I'm not going to completely cover the basket, but you know, just to give it that worn look and then I'll also do the same thing with a tray. covering the center of the park completely and then taking some tissue paper, taking the excess paint and then just tapping it on the sides and it gives it kind of a textured look once all the surrounding area is the surrounding area, what is this a map once? all that edge, I don't even know what I'm saying now, you see what I'll do once it's all done.

I'm also going to touch it in the center to give it that textured look, so it was originally. I'm going to do this with some jute twine, but I feel like I use so much rope and twine that I decided to trace it with a marker and just give it a different look and then also just to match the black of this Dollar Tree decal and then also in the black one in the next DIY that you will see, I removed some of the links from the chain so that it is not extremely long and then taking some pliers on that loop at the top, I am going to bend it and so I will bend it enough to let it catch on the tray and I'll show you what I mean.

I ended up attaching the chain to one of the slots on the side of the basket so it fits tighter and doesn't move. In this next DIY, we'll grab one of these trellis pieces from Dollar Tree and then I'll use one of these Valentine's Day banners. I'm going to use both pieces by just removing everything, staples, hearts, string, whatever and then taking some hot glue. I'm going to glue them together before I do that. I hurried. I'm going to take my pliers and bend the trellis, so this will be a bench just to be with you unexpectedly.

You are the rules, the only problem with these two. The signs are that they bend, if you can see on the table, they're not completely flushed, they're a little bit goofy. I tried to bend it back as much as I could, but I didn't want to break it. And to keep them together the best I can, I added a giant stick and then grabbed this vinyl siding from Dollar Tree, which I love for the wood grain. I'm taking that piece and a lot of tacky glue. I'm going to glue it to the sign pieces. Look, this will be like the seat on the bench.

The struggle is real my friends, it is currently 10:10 p.m. m. Today we had three basketball games. You and I have been up since 7 o'clock and you know, working. You can see what I'm doing. Okay, you guys saw what I did here, now you see this excess chain that's from the previous DIY, nothing ever works. to waste and these little screws are from a different Dollar Tree sign than the brackets on the back so taking them we'll just screw them in to hold the chain and then also taking this little Dollar Tree welcome sign we'll just stick it on this piece of surplus. fence that is lined with that vinyl siding and then attach the top of the chain to the trellis.

I glue this on top so it doesn't move and then I put some hot glue on that screw and secure it. the chain that way so it doesn't move. I was very lucky because I found these little transfers. I don't know if you have seen them in your stores. It's the first time I've seen them, but I think they're super cute, so I added them to my little welcome sign. I now drink eight of these shot glasses, they come in a six pack. I'm going to glue two of them together and make four sets to make my legs for my um, what do we call it bench? and you can use whatever you want.

I was racking my brain trying to figure out what I wanted to use, but I used what I have on hand. I didn't have to go out shopping. anything new just so you know, work with what you have and it will still come out beautiful, so once everything is glued together, I put on a bunch of hot glue, I'm taking some Dollar Tree chalkboard paint and painting the paws to make you mine again what you ever needed I didn't make that happen I didn't make you smart I didn't make you happy my friends last but not least I'm going to take this candy dish set any serving tray whatever you want call them they're on Dollar Tree in the wedding section and then that vinyl liner had this little cardboard tube in the center, so I'm not going to waste it.

I'm going to cut it out with my Dollar Tree handsaw and then I'm going to be I'm going to say that as my position on my two little features and everything else is pretty self explanatory. I'm super speechless. I don't know what else to say, so I'll let you watch and enjoy the music. Oh, I know things.
