Divinity Original Sin 2 Builds - Eternal Warrior (Death Knight)

Jun 07, 2021
Defend Original Sin has been out for several months now and I've created build guide after build guide trying to find new and interesting ways for you all to play as party members trying to capitalize on the fantastic gameplay Larian has designed. I've finally made the best

warrior

build you can ever make, I think, and ironically, since this will be my last build guide, I ended up where I

original

ly started. How fitting that the Death Knight is where it all began and is where I have returned alone. this time i made it so powerful it just breaks the game let me explain how the

eternal

warrior

came to be and give you the basics on the build when i started making guides a few months ago i was fascinated with the necromancer skill line and desperately wanted to incorporate them into some kind of main build that could take tons of punishment and at the same time deal respectable damage, unfortunately at that time, although I was on the right track, I hadn't gained that much knowledge about the game, so I made a

death

knight

when still the good was defective, it was defective not because it did not cause respectable damage or could not be punished, but because it did not take into account how important armor is in this game with the constitution of the

eternal

warrior, not only is this mistake rectified , but the skills have been simplified and improved to just the essentials The Eternal Warrior makes use of a decent amount of investment in Necromancer to gain passive healing by dealing vitality damage when combined with living armor The Eternal Warrior can replenish the magical armor offensively allowing them to maintain their position on the battlefield and keep swinging without fear of being controlled by crowds through magical attacks by having very high war and by adding the vampire hunger ability to the mix, the eternal warriors can increasing this healing even further, allowing for greater magical armor replenishment should they need it, the bone cage from the necromancer skill line and the challenge from the war skill line cover the physical armor and reward and the offensive play style, in addition to creating the perfect combination of offense and defense, eternal warriors focus on strength to increase their damage from their war skills and also on three or four points of intelligence to be able to use both strength and intelligence. intelligence based armor, all other points should go to memory for the skills you only need and then with the eternal warriors, use a combination of strength and intelligence based armor to get excellent physical and magical armor, they want to find A balance between the two, if possible, with enough magical armor to have time to replenish it through damage, they should look for armor with two-handed war and necromancer and wits as well.

That's fine, and you'll want to try to get some gear with an arrow point or two. Hydra's third sophist and scoundrel. I want to emphasize that the armor value is more important than the stat bonus since it is obtained in 90% of the cases, so be sure. take whatever has the most armor unless the bonuses are too good weapons wise you want a two handed weapon of some sort trying to get one with a slot for ruin bonuses you want to look for our critical hit chance strength of war steel and two- delivered in that order, ideally you would have at least three of these bonuses listed to maximize your damage;

More Interesting Facts About,

divinity original sin 2 builds eternal warrior death knight...

However, just like Armor prioritized damage above all else, unless you get a weapon with near-perfect bonuses, no lifesteal is directly added to a weapon. the total necromancer and vampire hunger in percentage, the best way to start this build is by choosing the shapeshifter class, taking finesse points and putting them all into strongholds, then put one point in war, one point in a changeling and take the battle, trample the ash from the tentacle. and megaphones then as you level up put one point in scoundrel and one point in hydra sophist to get adrenaline, vampiric hunger and frost armor, followed by one point in war to get more skills there, then put two points in necromancer to get more life, steel and bone cage, then from then on you will place points on the necromancer war at a ratio of two to one until the war is at maximum, only by placing a pointer on the arrow in third place when you are close to acting. two and take a step and transform up to three during the second act as far as talents are concerned.

I would recommend the following opportunist, this will allow you to deal more damage in close combat and is crucial for any damage build mailee that you want to take this talent. during character creation to get the most out of it during gameplay, the living armor combined with vampiric hunger allows the eternal warrior to keep swinging, healing his own magical armor in the process. You should take this talent when you reach level 3. Executioner, this talent works well with this build because it is one hundred percent optimized and allows you to kill targets quite frequently without having to waste unnecessary healing or buffing.

Take this when you reach level eight hot head because you are rarely below 100 percent vitality. The talent improves your damage by increasing your critical take. This one when you reach level 13, the eternal warrior uses mostly war skills, but sprinkles a little here and there in the changeling scoundrel Hydra, the sophist arrow, the third and of course the necromancer, below is a list of skills What will you use? and I'll put them in order, you should get them in the character creation battle, stomp, a good source of AoE knockback with only a slight 10% damage reduction from a basic attack, use this to CC enemies that They have little physical armor, preferably two or more at a time. a tentacle ash of time does extremely good damage and sets atrophy, preventing the target from attacking on the next turn.
You'll generally use this on your first victim, trying to take them down quickly before the enemies have had a chance to group up. Megaphones give you access to the cattail used. to close the gap on your enemies over and over again and has a 1-turn cooldown, so you'll never have mobility issues when in combat starting February 1st now deals physical damage, allowing you to remove levels of armored characters 1 2 3 battering ram only little damage but helps with mobility and is useful for keeping targets down if you can't take them down still usable haste to get in range and then this ability to take down targets with little to no armor physics adrenaline an essential skill to solo on any build, use this when things go wrong for you on the next turn without another action.
Please note that you can use it, then activate the skin graft, and then use it again. However, you will skip the next turn. Frost armor that you will not wear. This is used a lot in the second half of the game, but is great at the beginning, when you don't have as much use for lifesteal, when you need to replenish magic armor or boost a party member if they are low on vampire hunger, this ability allows you to steal life from the start, which will replenish magic armor. Note that you must deal vitality damage to steal life, so activate this only after physical armor has been removed.
Character levels four to eight. Electric attack. This is a great gap closer that also deals up to damage. two targets deal less damage than the full run, but targets do not need to be in a straight line and can also rise or fall in elevation when the cattail is not enough. The whirlwind deals 100% weapon damage to all targets around you and in AoE. positioning is key so use teleport if you want to hit another target, you can pop the skin graft and adrenaline to get back into the phoenix whirlwind, dive into a nice gap closer which costs an AP and is great for the Start of battles, jump into attack and then explode. a defensive skill and hopefully get an attack of opportunity, bone cage, a great skill to upgrade your armor and the more corpses around you the better this skill rewards an offensive playstyle so don't be shy about killing people , teleportation, a big all-around ability both in and out of combat, you'll use this during fights to move enemies within range, so you can Oh, I'm more than one target, ideally three or more uncanny evasion, one of two defensive abilities this build uses that is not tied to offense somehow use this when you have left too many enemies standing or alive to help mitigate the damage you will take during the enemy's round, the challenge of At character level 9 and above as of February 1, this skill now only costs 1 AP, making it viable during almost every war-oriented build.
It improves physical and magical armor, as well as increasing your damage by 15%. for one turn, Skin Graft, this skill works fantastically with this build and now only costs one AP as of February 1st. Use it when you want or need a second whirlwind. another gap closer or if you can get another AoE drop from the battle stone. I want to mention that you can of course add skills to this list, but they are the minimum skills it would take to complete the build, if you were really stingy you could even remove Phoenix's dive and/or lightning attack and possibly teleport or NK knee evasion, although they are very good.
I haven't added abilities like Chicken Claw or Pain Shackles to this combo because while they are useful, they aren't aggressive enough for this Chicken Claw build. it doesn't deal damage and you want to kill things, not just CC them once their armor is removed. Shackles of Pain have the same problem, but it also prompts enemies to attack other party members, which is not what you want them to do if you want to add abilities. For this build, I would suggest not taking offensive skills that only hit one target unless they apply a status effect that prevents them from attacking and I would suggest not taking defensive or utility skills that cost more than one AP, since dealing damage is priority in this whole process.
The build revolves around offense, so learn to play aggressively and try to remove or CC as often and quickly as you can. The best defense is a good offense in this game because when enemies are face up they can't hurt you, this is why I do it. I don't recommend playing eternal warrior with a sword and shield, as you won't deal enough damage to keep your magic armor up and keep enemies down. Learn when to use your abilities and pay attention to your cooldowns. You could, for example, spin two people when you can use teleportation to hit a third or maybe you can fight three targets, but if you phoenix dash first you can hit four.
This is important because living armor becomes more effective the more targets you hit, so you always want to hit as many as possible. As you can to keep your magical armor topped off, the Eternal Warrior's biggest weakness is that he can't replenish his physical armor frequently, so when selecting targets keep this in mind and try to take out the ones that deal physical damage first if you can or minimally. DC. They also learn when to time the bone cage for best results so you can get the most out of it when using it. Another good reason to use teleportation in this build is to bring you objectives because this will keep the bodies stacked in one place.
To gain more bone-caliber physical armor, always try to save an AP at the end of each combat turn to use a defensive skill if you're in danger or to use a utility skill if you're not on the defensive. Skills include bone cage armor frost. or uncanny evasion, while utility skills include defying vampire hunger or skin grafting, if you need more AP to finish your objective before using one of these skills, then blast the adrenaline, finish your objective, and then use a cattail , it is now the best way to close gaps in the game and you will be able to use it every round, so don't waste time with lightning attacks if you can hit the same targets with cattails.
Cattail not only deals more damage but can also cause bleeding, however, keep in mind that you can still use both abilities in the same turn. If you want to hit both targets twice, always remember to prioritize the cattail, if you can hit both targets with either skill, just like with the

death

knight

, you can play this build as an undead, since all lifesteal healing will heal them and there are no skills here. that impact them negatively, I would actually recommend playingas one if it weren't for the fact that elves have the best skill for this build with flesh sacrifice, getting AP and extra damage in exchange for Constitution is too good and keep in mind that you can upgrade this skill with skin graft to which eventually gets even better and I mentioned it before, but I'll say it again here.
Keeping your armor values above zero at all times is of utmost importance, this will prevent you from being crowd controlled and will. will allow you to make the most of your eternal warriors turns, although you are unlikely to make it through the entire game without this, it should be the goal during combat and should dictate what you do next, always remember to save an AP in at the end of each turn for a defensive skill if you need it or a utility skill to prepare your next turn if you're not in danger. It's been a wild ride these past few months and I've also thoroughly enjoyed Divinity Original Sin.
