Darkseid vs Trigon - Who would win?

I've seen a lot of discussion about this particular fight and some of you are saying that Trigon doesn't stand a chance against the new god, the dark side, so I'm here today to try to answer. win between these two classic DC villains.

Plus, I feel like this is a fight we can all appreciate. I'll be using the rebirth versions of both characters, which also encompasses the new 52 and post-Crisis versions. Not that any of these characters have ever been retconned by any crisis event, but hey, right off the bat, I think it's necessary to debunk a pretty big misconception surrounding Darkseid and what his true form entails. Some seem to think that Darkseid always uses avatars or emanations when he visits the regular universe which couldn't be further from the truth, Darkseid specifically tells us directly in the comics that he hates using avatars and almost never uses them.

It's also pretty obvious that when an avatar is used, they are like pre-programmed robots and don't really act like the real dark side at all. The reason Darkseid seems so much weaker when he is in the normal universe is not because he is using an avatar, but because of how the boom tubes work. A boom tube will adjust your size to any destination you choose. we're trying to catch up to him, although Darkseid is significantly larger than the universes and is essentially a living idea beyond all physical limits in the apocalypse, he's not as powerful while on earth, this version of Darkseid is something to which I and others refer to it as diminished.

Darkseid, of course, for all his power, could simply choose to destroy the normal universe any time he wanted if he used the full size of it, that has never been Darkseid's gold. In reality, he prefers domination over outright destruction, but don't worry about this video. Of course, I will use Darkseid to the fullest extent of his power and not to his power. I'll cover Darkseid first and Trigon in the second half of the video. Darkseid doesn't even compare to Trigon. To begin, I am going to review a statement from the monitor that states that the energies animating from Earth are so powerful that at first it could only come from the specter or the demon Trigon.

It seems like, oh, the Specter and Trigon have a similar level of power, not very impressive in the context of this video, after all, we already know that Darkseid should be quite a bit stronger than him. spectrum most of the time, but this statement doesn't even compare the strength of the two at all, it only says that the power that is detected can only be from those two beings, which does not limit Trigon to the level of the spectrum and, as You see, Look, there's a good amount of evidence that he's way beyond this. First, his three children, Shug Ruskoff, and the most notable, Belile Etrigan and Merlin, too. belial and etragon's children have a son named golgotha, i know it seems strange that the belial we normally see is related to trigon in this way, given that he looks completely different in most other comics and you might be fooled into thinking that these are two. different beliales but such powerful demons they can basically look however they want and it is directly confirmed later that ruskoff and serge are his brothers which confirms their relationship so yes trigon is both etrigans and merlin's grandfather and yes, this is absolutely hilarious grandpa trigon here again for Destroy the Universe now Trigon doesn't have many appearances, at least not compared to Darkseid, but they basically treat him as the strongest guy in pretty much each and every one of them, they would call him the strongest demonic entity the earth has ever seen, which includes a host of incredibly powerful characters, including Neuron, the first of the fallen, and of course, Lucifer Ariane, a sorcerer I've talked about before who has fought and defeated to the great darkness, sometimes also known as a demon, but I'm not sure how.

Much of what counts even more impressive than those first three at least is Etragen's own son and great-grandson of Trigon. Golgotha ​​conceived from within the great darkness itself Golgotha ​​was the most hideous monster to ever emerge from the depths of hell Golgotha ​​was so powerful that even just moments after being born, his pallor was too much for hell to contain and he eventually died. I know it seems crazy for Trigon to have this level of power, but these aren't the only times he was shown to be this strong in a revival comic. Baron Winters claims that Trigon threatens to completely destroy the balance between good and evil that he must maintain and would begin an apocalypse that no one, including himself, can extinguish. Both he and Raven continue to say that Trigon was an evil beyond anything they have suffered before, that Trigon will destroy all balance, but he will destroy everything now. He wouldn't see this statement as much under normal circumstances.

I mean, this is relegated to Baron Winter's personal experiences, so it's probably not even that impressive and then. I remembered that Baron Winters was literally there with Constantine and the others directly fighting the great darkness in Swan Thing Vol 2. So when he says that Trigon is the greatest evil he has ever had to face and that he has the ability to destroy it all. Actually, it's a big problem. Aarella would call Trigon the king of demons only for Raven to punish her for downplaying her father by calling him satan only to the hundredth for those of you who don't know the name satan or devil is actually a title. in DC, that's given to the ruler of Hell, who at the time of this statement was in fact Lucifer Morningstar, but old Lucy wouldn't be in charge for much longer and for the record, even if you think it's Neuron or the first of the fallen who was running hell right now this statement is obviously still ridiculously crazy for a trigon now i can't stress enough how much stronger trigon is than his children, i mean, in a comic,literally just kill belial suudge and ruskoff at the same time. time by mistake and you can actually play casually with belial without any problems.

Likewise, in the rebirth, Merlin and Etregon are afraid to face Belisle even together, so it should speak volumes that Merlin and Belial together were able to directly overthrow Lucifer with Belial keeping him in a cage right next to his throne. I'll explain exactly where these guys get this enormous amount of power from in another video, but it's important to note that Merlin is often considered a rival to Mordrew, who I covered recently and is a powerhouse similar in nature to trigon on his own more Later in the comic Belile would literally turn Lucifer into a dog, forcing him to call Belial his master, claiming that he was going to remake all of creation in his image.

This same Belile was called directly. the most powerful being to ever sit on the throne of hell and as if this wasn't enough, after Merlin granted all the power and life force he had left to Etrigan, we were able to easily see him dispatch this dog. lucifer and eventually belial as he currently stands etregon is satan the king of hell grandpa trigon is actually just the nasty alder in relation to literally all of hell and is also reflected in his kingdom which is often said to make even hell seems like paradise in comparison and that Trigon was a demon that no hell would dare to spawn.

The power ultimately responsible for defeating Blaze was also so intense that Raven felt it could only be attributed to Trigon and both Nabu and the black racer saw it as impressive. It should also be noted that Trigon doesn't really fear the Presence at all and definitely sees himself as powerful enough to defeat it, even taunting the strange ghost by telling him that the Presence arranged for him to give Raven to him because the Presence feared what he might do if he himself went looking for her, even Trigon's children can play poker in a realm that is so dangerous that falling into it would prevent even the presence from being able to recover the strange ghost in a later comic.

Trigon was also placed the head of a council that included powerhouses like mr e neuron and blight, the presence would actually appear on this council only for trigon to eagerly start a fight with him, tricon doesn't really give a damn, we don't see the result of this battle. but both Trigon and the presence would show up again later, which is actually pretty impressive for both of them. Darkseid is definitely incredibly powerful, but the level Trigon seems to most consistently be at is far beyond him, even with his soul fire powers that turn him into millions. Darkseid, sometimes more powerful, would be hopelessly outclassed in a direct fight and, as always, try to think about things holistically, that is, from a perspective where he looks at everything at once.

I already know that a small minority of you will rush to the comments to nitpick. some feats i mentioned in the video and i mention some low outliers for trigon. Try to remember that every character with more than a handful of appearances has outliers, including a dark side. It is not enough to point out an inconsistency, he must present a completely holistic view. plot that covers the character in general, if you want to move forward, I will make a specific video on trigon in the future talking about all of his powers and feats and I will debunk the outliers in that video, not here where I don't.

I have time, I can already hear some of you in the comments mentioning the Trigon mix as well and yes that is impressive but it was an injustice and while it is possible that they are the same Mixie and Trigon, we just don't know if I mean that Trigon scales Mixie because of that, it's just another reason for him to be so much more powerful than Darkseid. I already talked about how crazy Mixie is in my video dedicated to him now, although it is true that Trigon is much stronger than Darkseid, that doesn't actually mean he wins.

What many people don't realize is that Darkseid's greatest asset is his intelligence, not his brute strength, and given the right circumstances, he has some warm-up feats that could allow him to deal with Trigon especially. Since Trigon is not well known for his intelligence in the past, Darkseid was able to freeze a divine wave-powered Ares using some advanced technology he had created. I'm still looking into it, but it is sometimes implied that the divine wave is at this level and it's possible that this freezing technology could actually work on someone like Trigon, unfortunately it only lasted for a short time and wouldn't be enough to stop Trigon forever. on its own, assuming it would work on him in the first place, another option Darkseid has under his control.

The belt is the contingency that occurred to him to perpetuate himself in the odyssey of the Justice League. The comic continues, so things could change, but basically Darkseid felt that he was safe within the specifically protected ghost zone that he had created, if this is really true, whatever the technology or means. used to create this would be strong enough to withstand perpetual and would therefore be powerful enough to contain Trigon as well if Darkseid could somehow trap him inside of him. Granted, this is a type of reach. Hopefully this should go without saying, but none of Darkseid's other hex abilities are really going to do anything to someone this powerful, I mean, erasing the omega rays obviously isn't going to work.

Trigon has his own erased from him which is far superior. Being taken to the apocalypse isn't going to do anything. Trigon has returned from Azerath and places like it. the lower realm beyond even that and could easily return from it much like the omega sanction and in the same way Darkseid's ability to seal souls is quite ineffective on a being that has consumed billions and thousands of millions of souls. The last l for the dark side is the possibility of anti-life equation, but that depends entirely on how the anti-life equation actually works, it is possible that the total control that the equation provides is enough for darkseid to gain significant traction within of the collective unconscious, something I'll cover in my DC Multiverse 2 future video and the collective unconscious was used to defeat Trigon before Raven used it when she became White Raven, but this was a power he could only use on Azerath and it only worked that one time when Darkseid also saw the collective directly. unconscious inaction against the ares I mentioned above, so it's something I might think about using.

The problem with this is that Darkseid has been trying to get his hands on the anti-life equation for practically his entire life and has been essentially unable to do so. for the most part and that's even if it works the way I suggest it does here, which I'm not sure will work at the moment. Darkseid has incredible regeneration that is essentially related to his strange spiritual existence as an archetypal being. which against most opponents would probably give him time to eventually obtain the anti-life equation, but trigon literally consumes entire afterlives full of archetypal beings constantly. Souls themselves are archetypal forms that reside within dreams in DC, so Darkseid basically seems a little bigger. spicier popcorn for trigon and could absorb him to the point where Darkseid unfortunately can't regenerate, so while Darkseid has some potential options, I think they are far-fetched at best and require some pretty scenarios. extremes for Darkseid to actually pull them off and as a result, I have to give this one to the red trine man in most scenarios where we would expect to see them fight.
