now I didn't buy them. I've had these for a while, but I'll use them as a comparison to these to tell you what I like about these. These are your mental deck. These are your

baroque

deck. Obviously, they came in two colors and when I saw them I had to have them because, by the way, I'm a

playing

card enthusiast.

I just want to let you know that I'll be getting David Blaine's other uh gator backs, so I'll be checking them out. those too along with their lion backs and their divided swords. I already have the swords split, but I'm going to get newer packs, you know, so I can go through them and keep them in better condition, but here we are. I have Chris Angel's mental deck, his white

baroque

deck, and his black baroque deck. Now I'm going to show you why I have this here. Well, when I first bought these, I was actually out of the Chris Angel magic kit I had. previous deck but it's practically gone and I'm done I'm almost going to throw it away I still have it but I just don't use it well these

cards

are very difficult to handle well I mean they jump, they jump Okay, okay, these aren't bicycle cards, these They're some second-hand company cards, they feel like, oh man, there was a deck that I always used to use and I can't, it'll come to me, but they're a lot more badass, any magician, any magician who's watching this, will It feels like a half-press invisible deck, but it's a lot rougher and they're just not as durable as it feels.

I like it, it feels like poster paper, you know, just cut up and put in a deck, you know the artwork isn't necessarily the best, but it happens, you know, that being said, when I opened them I was expecting this, no I expected this. These are bicycle cards, they are made of bicycle and the first thing I thought was wow, this is going to be amazing. You know they are much easier to handle. In fact, they can fan. You know, every card here feels. great, I mean it's night and day, you know, looking at the kings and everything, looking at the queens and the jacks and any magician, any card player in general will know that there is a clear difference between the bicycle and any another deck that exists. because of the artwork and the intricacy, when I saw this I was like wow I'm floored so I took them out of the box because I opened the white one first it was literally like midnight I opened them up and at the same time I was like wow this it's absolutely amazing, they handle well, they can jump well, you know, you couldn't get that with these and no, I'm not going to criticize them at all, I love these cards, I love them. the artwork on the back of them, I love the fact that I got to see Chris Angel and see these playing cards and when I finally got a pack of my own I was so happy but these are amazing the best part is I want I mean, there really is no comparison.

You know, I mean, obviously, you know there's an eight of clubs right there, but I've got a king lined up here. You can see that that is the notable king. You know, look at the difference. Okay, this is Chris. Angel's Mind Freak deck this is Chris Angel's baroque deck It's okay, it's, it's, it's night and day compared to everything, much cleaner, everything is much sharper, you know, you know, compared to uh, oh, I don't know, a uh, a four, a four of clubs. right, I mean, obviously you'll be able to tell the difference, you know, compared to, you know, a seven of diamonds, obviously, the font is very different, the color is very different, um and the shape of the stick itself is very different, you know.

Plus, I also like to do that and show you that the king still looks pretty cool, there's all four of them right there and yeah, that was a trick, so my overall rating for these cards is definitely a 9 out of 10. The reason why I give it a 9 out of 10 because I feel like the artwork of the ace of spades on this deck could have been the same as this one and the fact that this is the box for the black deck there is nothing on this is the box. for the white deck there is a design, you know, card collectors and magicians like that stuff, so that's the only reason I give them the nine.

The handling is perfect. The quality is beautiful. I hope he comes out with these in a bicycle form because that would be awesome, but yeah, that's pretty much it uh my thoughts on Chris Angel's baroque deck of cards definitely go out and buy them, they're only eight bucks at Minefreak Live and I would suggest going to Minefreak Live. and buy them because that means you get to see his show, which is still the best magic show I've ever seen in my opinion, so say hi to Chris Angel, say hi to JD, hit like if you want me to do something. more
