on the hood of the car since I've owned it, let's take a closer look this week it rained a lot while I was driving in the rain.

I didn't realize it, but I must have had an impact with something that got in. sprayed off the road I was washing the car and I noticed that this place would not come out here now if we look at it closely with the reflections, if I can see it here on the camera, there are a couple of Mars near that place. and of course the place itself and I was able to see it in person but I'm not sure if we can catch it on camera or not but anyway the place is here which is missing paint and right next to it there are a couple of Mars here and there's a Here's a little Fleck that I don't know what it is, so I'm going to go ahead and use a little bit of polish on this first to see if I can get these other Mars out and then I'm going to fill this hole in this chip. on the paint using the Doctor Color chip, let me show you all the products I'm going to use today: Maguire's Quick Detailer and a piece of McGwire's clay bar microfiber towel which is to remove all the initial contaminants from the surface and then I have a spray bottle here with 50% isopropyl alcohol and I also have medical color paint and sealant and it comes with a lint-free cloth, a microfiber towel and some gloves.

I'm also going to use my McGuire's 210 polish along with a finishing pad and a microfiber towel and I'll do that after I go ahead and start with the quick detailer, he said my McGuire's quick detailer gives it a quick spray and wipes it off just to make sure get some of the immediate surface here and then I'm going to give it another spray and I'm going to use my clay bar to make sure I remove any contaminants from this area and that's because if something sticks when I go ahead and run the buffer over this, it won't.

I do. I actually have to throw contaminants into the buffer, the buffer should work fine to get any of these Mars out if they are buffered, so I'm going to check that first. I'm going to go ahead and give this white area to have my McGuire polish and a couple of spots of that 210 polish. I'm going to start at 3000 rpm and then increase it to 3800. Now I can wipe off the excess and then evaluate how it looks after I polish it, so I made some. It happens with the polish and that's because I don't really want to remove a lot of paint and I can actually see some marks, it looks like some kind of rock or something hit right in this area and then bounced up and I have no idea where it landed, so I'm going to take out my compound now.

I'm actually going to hit this with 110 in this area with a microfiber pad and then I'm going to go over it again with the polish just to see if I can get some of these Mars out of here I have the 110 compound from my McGuire on this microfiber pad . I'm going to rub it into the pad to prepare it and so it should have enough compound to do the job I want to do, let's start at 3000 rpm and work up to 4800 look closer and I can still see a little bit of marring here, like this that I'm going to take out the 210 with the finishing pad and go ahead and clean up what I just composed so there's a Few Mars here I can see them because of the light that's behind me it actually bounces off but it's harder to see unless you know exactly what you're looking for it's going to be hard to see so at this point I can go ahead and Put the IPA here, the rubbing alcohol and spray the rubbing alcohol over this to make sure it doesn't leave any kind of glaze, it will clean the surface and it's going to make sure that when you go ahead and add paint to this on the pain it's going to bond and not go away so here's dr.
The color chip product I ordered contained the paint and the paint code for this white is c02 so here is the co2 paint and this doesn't have the pearl that this car has because if it had the pearl it reflects poorly you could see this brand much better even after you decided to go ahead and fix the paint chip, so it has a little ball in it, just shake it up. The kit also comes with a couple of squeegees so you have a small squeegee which is the one I'm going to use and there's also a large squeegee here for a larger area and then you have the seal now, this It's half empty because I've actually been using it in my cars for the last six months and that's The reason I'm talking about it today is because I've been very, very happy with this dr. product with color chips on all my vehicles so far so I chose four different paint colors because I have the orange truck I had the red Dodge Dart but I also have black on the car and I chose jet black and this white which is the base color underneath this pearlescent coat, there are several methods to apply this.
In fact, today I'm going to use the palette knife method, so I'm going to pour the paint onto the paint chip and then go over it with a palette knife. the top once it starts to get less sticky and then I'm going to seal the top of this lint free piece of fabric and I'm going to go ahead and wipe it off and that should cover this spot let's see how it works in action. Okay, so I'm going to take this painting. I'm going to go ahead and drip it onto the chip. There's a place. I'm going to take the squeegee and just run it back over the chip.
I'm just going to wipe off a little bit of the excess that I can see here right now with a paper towel and I'm going to remove that excess from there and I'm going to let him have no more attacks. I don't want to. Let it dry completely, but I want to make sure it gets to the point where it's kind of sticky so I can get this excess off here, so next I'm going to shake out my seal act and I've got my fluff. free cloth I'm going to put the stamp right on the lint free cloth, okay a few drops of stamp and now I can go back and forth over the chip pressing very lightly and then once it starts to dry I can continue. over it with a microfiber towel, so come here and at this angle I'll look a little closer.
I can see it, it's right there, but it will be harder to see if you move two feet away from the car, it will be extremely difficult. you really have to climb on top of it to see it and I could probably catch it right there in the reflection, so it's there, it's a big enough spot, but now it's got paint on it, so we're ready to Come on, I'm going to go ahead and give it another cleaning with the act of sealing and making sure I don't have any residue left over from that paint and then I can go ahead and apply a wax or sealer on top. this to protect it and while I had everything out I noticed a couple more chips here and here and here they are quite small but once I got really close to them I could see that they weren't just bugs.
They're actually little bits of paint, so I'm going to go ahead and use the other method that I have here and that is to use the squeegee first, but I'm going to apply paint to it and then I'm going to fill in whatever hole I can. Just take some paint and drip it onto the squeegee and then use the squeegee to fill in any weak holes. I'm going to put some spots of sealant here on this lint-free cloth and then I'm going to wipe it over the surface. nice and smooth, so I don't want to press on any specific area because I don't want to get paint off of the paint chips.
I just want to remove the paint that is on the surface of the bumper. This is actually a It's a difficult angle for me to work with, but let's see what happens. Great, so now we've filled these three pieces with paint so you can go ahead and wipe them down with the microfiber cloth below to use the medical color chip you're in. You'll need to know your paint code when you place your order. There will be a link in the description below that will allow you to find the exact paint color for your car so you can submit your order correctly, so this point.
I'm going to go ahead and let the paint dry for a while before adding any sealer because I want to make sure it dries completely and after that I can apply McGuire's Quick Finish. For now it's just a polymer coat until I finally get I'm thinking about redoing or painting, fixing the rest of the car and at that point I can go ahead and put something like a ceramic coat on the car, but for now, at least these Paint chips are covered and everything is protected. I don't have to worry. As for corrosion, I don't have to worry about it looking worse and yes, I wish I could put pink protective film on the car, but with things like this that happened over time, putting paint protective film on top It will just make things better.
That's how they stand out that's what it is, that's how I'm treating it and if I don't like it over time I can get the panels repainted, no big deal anyway, thanks for looking if you have it.
