Clues to a Massive Spanish Treasure in the Henry Mountains, great stories by an old timer

Clues to a Massive Spanish Treasure in the Henry Mountains, great stories by an old timer
or in my days I've been looking for volunteers to help me open up Terry Carter's

treasure

vaults of the

treasure

hunters hideout any brave soul willing to risk their lives for a share what's behind the mouth doors walking more the rescues scallywags must believe in my sight yeah what we've got is it's a fact I've gone through the records we've got between two and four tons of gold bars these bars are about as thick as a slice of bread and about half the size of them there there are about 20 ounce bars ago they've got the I've got two of them there they got the

Spanish

markings on them we've got on the trail you do have you do fare we've all got old trail just that a curiosity yeah we got two bars they fell out of the backpacks apparently the Mules died on the trip really they used to go down from the

Henry

mountains

to the Green River through gunshot pass down to never to the Colorado down the Colorado the Gulf of Mexico uh-huh and from there they went to Spain yeah and the King got what they called the Kings fifth horizon for the goal and in return he he sent over his guards to keep the Indians as slaves to mine it and the ones that didn't want to work they hung him they killed him they did this for 200 years and wasn't Indians after 200 years they finally stopped smart enough they rebelled built bows and arrows and Spears they killed all the Spaniards took all the bodies put them in the mineshaft took all the gold they...

figure somewhere between two and two and four tons of gold to the last shipment never made it and they put the gold and all that in the mineshaft and they buried it entrance and I can show you the trail I can say where they ground the or I can show you where they melted it and I think that standards were no different than humans are nowadays yeah oh they did it close to where they were riding it i greased that do you uh well I can take you right to the spot so I know that mine shaft is there someplace and I want to open it up I want I want to go in there but I have to be extremely careful and quiet about it there's like everything else in this earth if you if you do something the government claims that it's not antiquity to it or anything else they will jump in and and shut us down in a heartbeat no matter dudes up doing some exploration work and get in there and dig get it and go then that's something totally different what is that that's down in southern Utah then huh it's in the

Henry

mountains

okay so here just they would blow your totally away I see it it's in the desert but they goes from the desert to the most delicate I've ever been to the top above here you go up Sundance go past Sundance go over to American Fork Canyon dry you know how it's like up there all the trees there yeah yeah well you go from desert in about two miles into timber like that but big timber I'm talking trees that the three of us could not reach and touch...

fingertips really all huge trees increase have you got any you know about rock monuments and stuff like that the Spaniards made have you got any of them monuments like that no yesterday in fact I found rocks and had crosses carved on them there's trees that have dates on them we got some trees there to have dates going 1,700 something really we've got a lot of stuff we got a lot of I mean if you looked around you know you say wow they were here yeah and there's been so many prospectors up there that talked about different things they find here and there there's no doubt about it whatsoever they're all closed mouths well yeah they're pretty much closed mouths oh yeah I'm a

Spanish

treasure

hunter myself so know exactly what you're talking about well I know the dangers I've been in a few of the old

Spanish

mines and who knows of that the dangers have been tripped or or they're marked well enough that somebody don't get hurt okay the Indians didn't do that but the Spaniards did right yeah and I know this pattern they were going to come back and open this mineshaft back up again in the early 1830s and 40s but unfortunately was a group of people called Mormons became hairy about that time period huh and they got a little bit nervous about it and so they just never opened it back up again it was the largest gold producing mine in the history of the world it's on a vein is totally unreal now I've been up there and I've mind...

it really and uh the what they call the alluvial gravels and all that aha a gold their house that is I'd have to get down and show you the stuff that's there you just absolutely totally lost you the biggest problem is nobody knew how to do water management up there there's a tremendous amount of water but nobody knew how to manage the water or anything else so unfortunately they ran out of water early summer and so they couldn't do a heck of a lot of mining with the type of mining that they did they did some hydro mining with the water cannons but that was it only lasted for a couple of weeks they told pulled thousands of ounces of gold out of this stuff huh but I've gone up there and I've mind what they called a million dollar Gulch that's considerably a long ways below where the Josephine is and there's a tremendous amount of gold huh that place is got gold platinum silver Mercury and lots of copper on the ridge there's diamonds on the backside there's coal one of the richest coal really I've ever seen in my life that's interesting and but the

Henry

's they're just interesting period and what I want to do because I'm not a greedy individual I want to find it I want to open it up I want to breastplate a helmet the sword and and then the values I don't care what they do with the rest of them I just want that just uh whatever but the gold just split it up amongst the people involved in it and because it's there...
it is there well let me let me tell you when I documented and everything else and and I got the point I'm almost at the point of marion a

spanish

gal just because she speaks

spanish

so i can go to spain and go through the records the archives try it's given i figure like everything there's family that had

great

fathers and

great

-

great

-grandfather's or something used to be a guard at the Joseph Bede Martinique mine yeah and I was thinking running ads in the paper in Spain and and and and try to locate it but I thought they wouldn't know any more than I do I know the trails are at and where they ground the or at I know yes it's known that everything else oh I broke you found all that you've been you know then you're right they're closed I probably know more than them I would know more than that they have opposite knows they're someplace in Utah on the

mountains

right in the

Henry

mountains

that there that's for a

grandfather died at yeah Noah let me ask you this I know that there's a guy that thinks he has the Josephine appear in upon Hoyt peak you familiar to ladder that there's there to Joseph in mind okay is there a way bill for the Josephine down there because I know Wolverton thought he had a Josephine diner up some books don't you yeah are you looking at him right now no Warburton had a big mine up there and in fact his equipment still up there now work done course he's been dead for quite a while...
right I've got most of the Diaries and everything known from the people down there and everything else that's what got me turned on to this day you know if some guys spent a couple year year to year whatever uh-huh on weekends or whatever just going down there cutting around with the right type of equipment and really started a grid pattern of uh you know just working out from that area just keep on larger and larger until you got it um they could pretty well write their own ticket for that day Ford well let me tell you what I've been working on and it might help you I've been

Spanish

treasure

hunting for the last fifteen years and and I've got a lot of areas where I think there's

Spanish

treasure

s but I never I'm just like you you know it's there but I never did know how to find it so I've spent the last year tracking down ways of trying to find this stuff's and I'm in contact with three people right now that are better teaching me their tricks and so you know we might can take some of these tricks and go and try that besides using the metal detectors and what not so well I know the Indians put a curse on it okay and I know over the years there was the old city called Eagle City up there they have a whorehouse the bar the bank the jail and all assets at the town the remnants of the town is still there was left of it that's what Butch Cassidy Sundance Kid and the whole wall game used to hide out from the policies there I can...
take you right to the town that's below where the Josephine is they talk about the trail the old

Spanish

Trail that they used to follow that went up there yeah the mind wasn't Erica they buried it yeah they didn't know it was there because right nobody even knew from second back there right and they didn't care and it was immaterial and it didn't even matter and it was much easier for them to go out and rob a stagecoach or a train than it was do to go and dig a hole around they didn't care right I do know that we have technology now if we have the right equipment that we can go there and we can find that thing I know it's there without any doubt I know that when you do find it it's going to be one of the most exciting I mean I'm talking about a mind that was producing about about a ton of gold of a week by the records a ton of gold a week that's more than the producing that Kennecott Kennecott mine produces a ton of gold a month they're talking about their old hand Mehmet's where they were using chisels and now much Hammers announce flav labor they're pulling ton of gold out of that a month that's a pretty fair sized mine yeah and but anyway I think it would be exciting for some guys just to go up there and and and apply the dang beam and open it up and and pull it out of there and I think I've long with everybody just uh we're just if we just go exploit your you're pretty trustworthy y'all just grab an...
anybody that you really don't know you're pretty trustworthy because what I do is I just shoot somebody if they cross me I lost eight and a half million bucks here uh about uh about seven years ago dunno about six years ago to a group of people here in Salt Lake I shipped them down thousands of ounces of gold at a Yukon Territory at York in and when I got down here I found out they took the goalie disappear never seen upsets terrible that's what I mean is pretty trustworthy not knowing you know no no because I would hunt them down and sooner or later I'll cross paths travel all over I would shoot them they treat me fair I will treat them beyond fair in fact if we end up with three pieces of gold you get one I get one you can have the second one because it don't matter to me just like I said I'm not that greedy they if you got a million dollars what the hell's good is two million I mean they can see that million dollars borne enough to live on the rest of your life happily and and if you're not crazy and I figure if there's two tons of gold in there and you figure each ton of goals works a little bit over 11 million you're talking 22 million dollars mm-hmm if you divide 22 million dollars two three four five I don't care how many ways you want to go with it you're talking a lot of money and myself I would I wouldn't I would only sell enough of it to play you have to be eating careful on that this way I can give Elise goals...
I've had so much gold in my life and don't even matter if gold you know what to me is not more than another metal that's how I graduated I thought it is just another metal my goal is it's worth a lot more than lat right after I lost I was like you don't have the gold fever then I've ran into a lot of people that are that are crazy to go because they just cause my gold over five take a dang old the ground right somebody's going to pay me for it right and if I got a dig a 6x6 hole six feet deep in the ground I want to dig one whether it's gold like its max out of it right not uh forty trust pound right mm-hmm so that's that's only that that's I guess you'd say my addiction is if I got to work I want to get the best return I can out of it me gold doesn't but another metal and let me ask you about this area is it it's not in wilderness area it's not in well nor fact it's in patented land and it's in BLM land that we've got the water rights and everything on we got back we got playing playing you have so you have the mining claim sport and all that already oh yeah okay oh yeah back we've been mining up there okay yeah I've got gem square mile of land up there Wow huh I've got a little over six thousand acres there's a three million board feet of lumber there but we can't cut it because of the environmentalist okay and but anyways know if you guys are interested in it and you think we could...
put something together I'll take you up there and I'll give you the grand bloom and er I think we can plan a plan of attack we get the maps we can grid it out okay and start right there at the spot and we can just work from that spot in CHEM square feet at a time or however want to do and and just do it until we hit pay dirt that's yeah well I think I think we're interested all we care about my name my friend I don't know that much about mining right one of your knowing I know all kinds of things about metal detectors and

treasure

hunting but I don't know that much about mining it let me run a little scenario by you okay we got it crate and on this Creek there is a dam and this dam is filled clear to the top with gravel sand whatever come down that crack right it's folded at all dam is over 150 years old Wow that was made out of logs it's made in a Gulch that at the top is about 60 feet wide at the bottom it's about 21 inches wide about wide enough for a man to fit down at the bottom very narrow Gorge deep 150 200 feet deep huh okay you show with me you know above the dam everybody that goes up there with to a portable boards dredges map they can all kinds of gold really they get Nuggets up to the size of peas you're kidding on the flight gold everything else in this Creek below the dam they don't get squat because it's all stopped right there it stops right there at that damn yeah what do you think's at the bottom of that...
it's about from the dam back up where the gravel off from the damaged the dam is level but from the dam back it's about a half a mile and it's in solid sandstone uh-huh except for the what's filled up that damn well but I think at the bottom of that dam right there at the bottom want to be filled chuck full of solid gold then that's what I figure friend I know you're that convict Dean have to have semi loads of gold in the bottom yeah 150 years all the gold a lot of saddles brush box are comma latent there all the gold was settled right to the bottom that's where she stops at you know where the water stops flowing that's where everything starts settling the heaviest settles first yeah yeah and uh now that's another little faint in that same theme I could take it show it to you I could get you standing right on it and it will blow you totally away when I take you up there show it to ya I'll tell you what both of ya better wear some suspenders on your pants it's absolutely unreal huh it's it's totally amazed me at the very bottom they got some of the largest uranium mines I've ever seen really yeah I can in fact I could become a very wealthy man just gathering petrified wood huh I get petrified trees not even wood just the tree old Teresa and you want your radium it's only worth five bucks a pound crap anymore yeah worth more than gold huh so we got all kinds of pure uranium down there on the flat in desert Park but...
that whole area I just dick you there spend the day take down the 50 Center and I blow you away now I know that the people the Indians put a curse on the Josephine Dee martinique mine okay I know the water up there is full of mercury and back before the turn of the century even after the turn of the century most people built their homes and cabins alongside the creek so they have water to drink to wash whatever and if they're using that water and fortunately they're getting mercury at it because they had cases of tremendous sickness and death up there and they thought that they blamed it on the old Indian curse because the people would turn gray and then die huh and hides out there and I've been checking this out and they did they had a log desk that's why they abandoned most of the mines up there earlier the death and sickness was so high and I believe if we went extreme the bodies who would find out that they had high levels of mercury atom could be run because there's so much mercury and I could sit there and run that water to a gold Tron and I can collect 3 4 5 ounces of mercury in it in a couple of hours really oh yeah there's probably water right is that you think it's natural you think it's what was left over from the Spaniards I owe the way up there where Wolverton was at they had a big stamp mill it was a mercury stamp mill where they crushed the or then the or went through the mercury and then the mercury collected the gold and the...
light stuff just floated off and I know they had a fire and that stat mill turned over and how they lost all that mercury and they lost there was a 6-10 mill so there's probably each stat mill had probably uh or blast mercury in it I asked is 70 pounds huh so you're talking 280 pounds in each one times six oh there's my mercury yeah I don't know if it's from that or its natural dynabar up there I've never seen signs of cinnabar that I mean Jack behind I do know that there's lots of gold there's lots of shelving there's lots of platinum there's lots of mineral period lots of copper and but that isn't even that isn't in my interest at this point my point is I want to find that Joseph nd Martinique mine after that money is made put together maybe go back there as a hobby but if I made money on it

great

if I didn't make any money I wouldn't give a crap because I enjoyed it beautiful up there this was the creek bridge oh yeah we add we have some hobby miners that come up there and take up there and he one day just right there by the waterfalls he just sat there and set his badge up and and he collected so Oh about uh you know he's gold tubes uh-huh collected uh three-inch the gold one of them and probably half a day early oh yeah wear them one ounce tubes huh yeah he collected you go that up the it's pretty much for Nuggets right there if they've got to go there's a lot of gold there I have no doubts but uh...
somewhere along there at one time there was a big water rush there was a big where these were there the rocks blocked off these canyons were just they were natural dams and if they broke away that a lot of his goals and these veins were exposed and come washing down if all this alluvial gravel it's not very part of bedrock that whole place you go to bedrock some places you're right on bedrock and and it tapers down to probably oh maybe three or four feet deep that's it just three four feet to the bedrock to the bedrock Wow honey much at all ain't nothing up that's nothing down some guys before the turn of century set up a little trommel with a what they call a a is a modified like a gold front it was prancing the name of the Knutson like Knutson bowl but a flat one and they they set it up but the dam broke on them they lost all their water soil equipment just sat there sold is made out of wood and but they did a lot of testicles right on the ridge up there on the million-dollar gulp ssin and it's full of gold it's full of gold they are they put a bridge across that Gulch that just scare the death they just throw it just to walk to and look at it back then they were crazy didn't have heavy equipment when you look at that damn you look at in your sight how in the devil did they build that thing you know it's amazing really I mean they did some amazing things back then did rays and stuff yeah they did it by mules ropes block-and-tackle a...
little bit the mole guys did some amazing things back then yeah anyways why'd you guys figure out what we could do we can go look at the area and then decide how we're going to pack the damn thing okay we knew that would be the starting point and then go from there okay yeah we could do that because I think it'd be very profitable for all people concerned and and because they're just there go out there I think if if nothing else just the antiquities of a being there would be worth a tremendous amount of money if I've talked to some people about the original old

Spanish

swords and breastplates and helmets and that there was a lot of bucks yeah yep the yarn they're worth a lot of bucks yep they uh they said there was like 250 Spaniards they're dead quite a quite a setup that quite a setup they have you found the largest mines of Spaniards had really and oh yeah they had a ship the sat down there and and they hauled every month they had a ship going to Spain and ship coming back and they hauled for time to go so let me let me ask you this how did you find the gold bars they just land there do you have a early Taylor was in Copper Creek was on trail goes down to Copper Creek and one of them was on Copper Creek and the other one was up just go on the crushed Creek just below the bromide basin so you just you found them just by side or you had a detector or the but I could figure out they found like about 30 or 40 of them ah and they've all got the...

Spanish

some

Spanish

markings and I didn't know anything about that I didn't even know nearly squat and has since then my kids on that because they do a lot more running around than I do it found rocks that have these

Spanish

markings on them you know what is cross look the cross yeah what else oh it's that you know what the cross it's it I could draw your picture because I've seen them okay and the marks on the trees the dates on the trees I think that's all this we got is is like seventeen thirty or something like that it's old if I know that we've got onto the tree and I'm just sitting across for Leroy so he knows what it looks like yeah that's the market rookie is that what that is yeah are you from here with that yeah you guys with the lung we that that's Marky the Cheyenne --is-- the

Spanish

marking mr. Markey and up in Medora they had that fun on the log cabin because he was he was the Medora married a Frenchman and Medora Marky is that was his that was one a lot of his stuff well that's I could show you I mean we'd have to scout around and and I know where some of them are some of the rocks have that mark on them I've been told since then that they use them marks to marks trails to where they cast gold at because back then you'll Padres some of them the the miners that Spaniard they weren't the most honest people and these the Stig stuff on ride so they come back later and get it right and so each one of...
them had their own little cash here and there he lay in the hided market so they could find it again and and they said daddy you don't disturb them marks and markings like that because they're they lead to something of more value that's that's right they're out there trail markers that leads you to that's all

great

well but because of so many people's been there and I don't know like my kids picked up some of them rocks major them probably two or three miles down and showed me rock yeah and it don't mean diddly squat to me anymore crying where the hell is that or where it came from I know foul I know we're in the right area that's why I say no we start at the point of origin and and we just do a grid I mean if you're gonna look for something you gotta have some kind of game plan that's right you did got out the right equipment and hooked underground you're right and find the damn thing mm-hmm you're right and I think it would just be absolutely exciting to find it and be very prosperous I mean would it be a profitable like you can believe and I have no interest in mining it I only have interesting going into it bringing out what's in there and doing it as quietly as possible and getting in getting out and that's the end if somebody wants to go back at a later date and play games with it that

great

how'd you end up with the pair how'd you end up with the patented claims on it how did you end up with...
the patented claims on it passed down here well you bought it or partly I did some horse trading and got most of us and there's there's some there that I don't have but I can get it from up above okay there's there's a family up there and I'm not even interested in that I'm not even concerned with that because I can go anyplace up there I want to okay and if we find something then we'll just go down if it's not on our property or whatever we'll go down file with the government or file with the individuals there's only two individuals up there that have proper free individual to have proper after myself and and Bubba I got his card I'm done the whole family and they want to get rid of it they've had the family for over a hundred years and they would like to show it I could probably buy it for like fifty thousand bucks that debt there's the rest of the

Henry

mountains

and half all that patented board from the gold that gold has never showed up and never made it and they bigger because there was no bodies they never find any bodies that the Indians buried the bodies in the mineshaft along with the gold and that's what the Indian children made it they totally killed them all and put him in there and he didn't put a curse on it and the curse so anybody and their posterity if they even bother it will die that's all

great

well I'm not worried pres well I've never found any spooks yet oh yeah well I'll...
tell you what we went into a mineshaft not that one we went went to another mineshaft that a guy come right now in a horse out of that mine shaft about trampled us down scared the crap out of could start where he came from and I thought I'd lost my marbles really and when we got outside we asked the guys off there where'd he go and he said who and the guy on the horse you're kidding and they says Harry nobody come out of this mine shop at you three guys might Wow I said the guy come down there and just about randa's all bound I thought it was a million if I could fare where he came from and what he was doing in there on a horse and they sat and looked at me like I some kind of a nut and the other guy just stopped and he looked at me and they said well maybe we didn't see what we thought we seen I think that's it and so I just let that know that I don't know what happened it I I don't know maybe I was on the wrong sewer pipe oh well uh we could go down there take the detectors to boxes depending how that mine did that's how deep it is that two box will pick up cavett caverns if it's if it's not to you know deep down depends on the mineralization if there's as much gold as you say is there and there's probably heavy mineralization and it'll affect the metal detectors quite a bit okay like this if we can't come up with a proper equipment I was over in Russia uh-huh Leroy knows about this they have a piece of equipment...
there that will go down about 600 feet it's really how long the deposit is what it is and and how everything affiliates depth the size of it what kind of mineral it is on your yeah they've got some equipment there that it makes us look like really a bunch of retards huh I spent quite a bit of time over there rupture and confidence Liberia Oh really when you get around don't ask me only maybe then people when it comes to the technical aspects of life they don't know Sikkim I don't want to come to the real technical workings yeah that they are the most brilliant people ever really huh I mean uh they've got some some gold extraction equipment that if they ever marketed it would totally revolutionized mining as we know it really well you don't need all this crazy stupid equipment yeah I can mine gold dry with their method really and I can mine thousands and thousands of yards an hour and I could separate the gold and silver platinum everything in a heartbeat really problems with forever I asked my brother-in-law about this whose electrical engineer he said the dad I never thought about that that would work well that's they God huh that's fabulous but yeah I just they've got some equipment there that I could get ahold of the people and probably get it I probably might have to even bring whether Russians here to teach us how to run it but well maybe that'd be your best thing to do then well I don't know I feel I don't know what...
equipment we have available to us here if we get big balls still rent lease buy whatever state we need something that we can look in the ground like you can spot fish in the water or well they you know we get a cesium magnetometer and that'll tell you exactly you know where the caverns are worth if there's anything in them but they cost they run there are a hundred and fifty two hundred dollars a day to rent you know son fifty two hundred dollars a day right uh how high do you have to be or how close you have to be to the ground to get to work properly you gotta you got to run them right across the ground right on the surface of the ground right on the surface of the ground they'll go down you know hundreds of feet you know how heavy is this equipment they're they're fairly heavy you know and that would be the fee that would be to provide enough that two guys with backpacks could pack it you got to pack it in to where you're going well we could drive into our work horn but I mean the package to start walking across the ground with it oh yeah yeah you got to do that it took tup to a computer you get a computer printout on them and all that you get to read the printout yeah you got to read the printout you got to do all that and and that that's probably the best way to go but it's it's the expensive us you know you won't try maybe try you know something else we can do right up you know see if we pick up so the other how much would it cost...
to buy a piece or cover like that something like that would cost probably twenty-five thirty thousand dollars at the drop in the bucket okay Wow that's a lot to me what we're talking about if they will go down like what you're talking about you're talking I mean how much would you spend to make a million dollar seriously well if I knew for sure was there yeah I would do it but you know you never you'd have to know for sure you know well you're the main think the historian I don't think the Spaniards and I don't think what I've seen I mean they didn't build place the mill or place to melt the metal because they were just something to do and something to keep the Indians busy well I grew a few there I believe that the Spaniards are there that but how do you know that some some point in time somebody hasn't stumbled into that and already got it out that's that's that's what you don't know well sure yes number one if they would have had done that somewhere along the line somebody I mean the families have owned that for the last 150 years I can document every one of them hey I'm founded Warburton hadn't found it he thought I'd write on the shaft right he found remnants of where they'd been at uh-huh and if you've been reading the history books you'll see that he says they were there right yeah where the mineshaft is I don't know it's been buried meters on it yeah and they killed him all put...
him in the mineshaft and that's it yeah and I've gone beyond him I went back and got the records 1872 year God did for geological exploration uh-huh the

Henry

mountains

it's a

great

big thick book where the government sent in there and they said there's nothing in the

Henry

mouth that is if any value so ever on a bromide and a lot of old

Spanish

Trail yeah and and the Spaniards were

great

for trails they like to have trail door bolts for every place Oh yep they didn't go no place yet they've had a complete people off of it kept it in and uh I know they wouldn't have bail the melting kiln and the grinding pitch and everything else to grind or if it wasn't there yeah I mean they aren't doing that just for sure practice yeah let me let me let me introduce something here when you go down and you want to take some rope so you can climb down damn we also want to take use up a video camera I got one of them I got a video feed you'll really be impressed and a couple of two-liter pop bottles full of hopper water oh yeah because I don't I won't drink the water there I'm sure you there's lots of water I won't even drink the water out of well we did we dug two wells the two wells the prop actually free but the one we take in the floor drop but I wouldn't drink the water of the well it's just murky we'll go through any place water goes mercurial goal but yeah I can I could take you on a tour there that would...
absolutely totally blow your way that you just you wouldn't believe that something like that could even possibly exist in Utah really yeah just it just you can't believe that it could possibly be there what's there I've got a water cannon old water cannon made about the turn of the century note off but a water cannon is yeah bridle yeah one letter lining him yeah the pipes there then still going to it everything highly have for them bad how to get it out of that go I want it I want to put it my yard is there just uh yeah I want that indoor car and I think that'd be neat there that they were water cannon I mean it's a big old water cannon and the I can show you stuff that you look at it just totally amazing just and you stop to think that these people did it by hand and dill and hopes and that you just did they've dug ditches there to move water that you just how did they do that I've tried to dig ditches there with cats and it's unreal it's just so rocky ground I just I don't know how they do it but they've got a maze of ditches up there and and I could supply a lot of Utah with just the water there if we you know just did it promptly but that's that like I said that's not him I'm main concern with that my only concern I want to find the disability market equine and I know it's there and just a matter of having the right kind of equipment that we could we can start grid it out and sooner or later because I'm...

are not that big they're not that big they're not a very big mountain and I know that if we worked an area there we're going to find it if there and when we find it I think it's just gonna like I said you're gonna have to be work suspenders or you're going to be awful embarrassed so let me ask you this and can you uh it's pretty rugged down or or uh can you get into there fairly easy during the springtime or the summertime or get in there where you can take a leg up there and show you Oh probably 90% of what I want to show you but to get to the area well I think the Josephine is know I can't until after June the middle of June or so okay because there's been a menace mouse no affair so so but but in that you're not in about June or July you could take a an older person in there and he could walk around okay or one older person what are you talking about older person now you're talking to - you're talking to senior citizens yeah all you can see us all well uh I don't know exactly I've got a fracture mouth okay let me tell you what I'm thinking of cuz I bought the meanest bowl for ya haha let me tell you what I'm thinking ah yo I don't know know what the condition is out there yo Fitz if it's cliffs you got a you got to do a lot of rappelling or why I don't know what the condition is you know that's what I'm asking y'all can you can you walk around or is there you know I can...
walk you around I can drive you to probably 80% of it we might have to walk a few hundred yards to the balance of it Leroy says you have to man have a rope to rappel no I can walk you down to it I walk you to the dam okay you go in the back way I go either way from the top of the bottom I walk in the bottom or dance and talk no problem let me let me tell you what I'm thinking here I've got a friend who's worked on on recovering a lot of stuff anyways he's developed he spent two hundred and fifty thousand dollars developing a way to find these

s when you take gold say say you take the regular gold nuggets from that area it's not going to work on that because it's it's part of that earth but when you take the gold out you refine it you purify it and you put it back in an area or a different area it's it's a different makeup to that ground in 13-episode and so the earth tries to reject that and it puts out a a field kind of magnetism failed around that this guy's developed the equipment to pick that kind of stuff up and so he can work work the magnetic field first named Richard I might know him uh most people have talked to him think he's nuttier than a fruitcake um I don't know if they do or not don't know I think I know him I've in fact I think I met him a few years ago uh done some oil exploration for some guys uh-huh and we're doing some laser radar mapping uh-huh and they were trying we were trying to get...
him we were trying to hire him but these guys kept giving him the runaround you know and like he was an idiot at night there's not the guy's extremely smart he knows what he's talking about and you're playing games with him and you're going to piss him off he's gonna walk and actually what he did that wouldn't bid he promised the entrance is through I'm thinkin is he's got to be in his early mid fifties ah yeah I'm thinking that every six jeez I don't know exactly how old he is see I'm 92 and and you're how old I'm not you you're kidding no I'm 61 I'll tell you what though you wanna arm wrestle for a cup of coffee you'll buy okay so I'm uh I'm the chief metallurgy started you living them no is that you out there in the borders haha well I'm next now you'd be on a Harvard stop there I am okay and I'm a graduate metallurgist and I know metals and and very well very familiar in fact you show me gold and I if it's unrefined gold down the flaked or nugget form uh-huh I can pretty much tell you words came from because I've been all the way from Alaska clear down into the Mexico up not in New Mexico but down the Mexican border and from California under the Colorado's and so I know gold very well boy I am V yet and if you show me I'll I think called it a few time to testify on some gold that they want to know if I could tell where it came from mister short to mean I'll say...
work huh and it short and I could tell you within a little area that you're real close to what area it came from yep and I've seen a lot of gold I've seen probably the largest mouth of gold that most people don't even know even exists on an orange Switzerland really Houghton and Zurich Switzerland and I seen enough gold that we could probably pave every Road in Shingle every house of gold in the state of Utah still have gold left over really I seen and I've seen three miles three miles of gold it was on there of yeah I think we bought a turn to a pallet I don't remember exactly what it was how many thousand pounds of snotty pallet I think was like 33 34 thousand ounces on each pallet Wow but the general gold supply of the world right there underneath the runway in drinking clothes Switzerland I didn't see at all but I've seen enough I thought wow huh I'd be something just to see that yeah you just look down there and you borrow the I could see it just like looking down railroad tracks they just goes until the tracks come together I look down there and just I just are just amazed I didn't know such as didn't even existed I spent a month in Switzerland and in some dealings with the banks and stuff over there and everyone I got back from Russia but anyways so let me ask you another question how long have you had this property it's been a couple of years now so if you spent much time out obviously spent a lot of time out there I...
have spent one summer all but about a month of it I spent just exploring let me ask you now weird questions at nighttime did you ever see any weird blue or orange lights coming from the ground raking like that yeah up above the ground above the ground just kind of like a halo around the ground there up above the ground uh to be very honest with you never spent any time out there at nights because uh usually we left before dogs out how about during when it was raining or moist atmosphere uh I can ever I know I never paid in attention you say yeah when I thought exploring it was a bright nice sunny day that I just didn't feel like working that day and okay and we just got out kicking rocks and looking for arrowheads and uh and we found someplace whether we know the Indians lived where there's cliff dwellings that nobody's been to whether used to grind their corn haha we found it I had said I destroyers up there that would absolutely blow your way I can show you what we call the holy gully we call the other one little Grand Canyon it's absolutely unreal huh people just don't realize that there or both people would be spending time there and I'm glad they don't know it yeah absolutely gorgeous just we found a place where there must have been a lot of Indians for a long period of time made a lot of areas because that whole Ridge is nothing but chips and broken Arrowhead spear heads and everything like that huh good thousands of them he just uh did some...
real it just it it's an exciting day for you you know we pack them lunches and and that's just uh everybody took a couple two-liter bottles of Pop froze them and so that thought all through the day have something to drink and and went up there we'd have a blast you'd have a blast and it'd be something you'd come home and you tell your wives I want to take you and the kids up there because it's fabulous it's absolutely fab I got a spot up there I'd like to do you turn over to the Boy Scouts because it's a big enough metal up high but they could have a whole state Jamboree they're really oh it's that is the big brass metal huge way of highway you can see clear across the state of Utah during the Colorado and deeper hundreds of miles it fits absolutely gorgeous if there's the snow line well that's just below the snow line just below it and just I could take in mineshaft down there the bones uranium mines you can hide a free bedroom a house-senate really I never know it was even there really I'm talking about huge mines where they had these

great

big diesel trucks and big diesel equipment and they're working and it's such a well it sounds like you got to be in full area there's so much there I mean we can start from the desert and go into the beautiful snow country and and and and go from the modern type of mining to very the oldest type of mining there ever was I mean we go clear back to the Spaniards and...
start that the modern which brought the modern uranium mines and it just it's absolutely unreal phenomenal it's a way where you have a kind of you spin up this you owe us pretty well did I think you're going to show you everything no didn't you could you showed it all but we drove everyone we drove everywhere and a little bit we walked you could yeah there's not too far you get a bit out of the vehicle and walk over to the side and look you can see everything from the vehicle there's no need to be gazing special the car or the vehicle will take you everywhere yeah yeah it's uh there's only one part that's like I said when we get up high into the bromide Basin up there where the Josephine's that up there is uh there's a lot of snow up there okay so up there right now and there's no way to get in there yeah without attracting a lot of attention if we wait till the snow is gone go get the lay off the land get an idea of what we're working with and everything else then we can go in there after the middle of June with no problems at all and it's fabulous absolutely fabulous that but I'd like to show you some of the markings some of the trees and some of the others yeah and let you see them and maybe if we go ahead together and well I've got like I say I've got a lot of friends with a lot of information a lot of knowledge that can help us out I've been tracking down

there ok how's that sound sounds good if you got now - are you the one that found the gold bars oh there's just people that found gold bars ah I found one of them and some other guys found the other one do you still have it or yeah I know with that I don't have it but I heard that I had a problem where you're going and fortunately I stashed it okay and uh I've got to go back get it but I know nobody's bothered and you could play with it if you'd like if you get too fond of it though you might lose some fingers yeah I could understand that no it's Joey when I got I'd like to have the whole pile of them I figure if we split that pile about four or five or six or seven ways that uh I be good now well uh that'd be neat just to see that stuff or you know is how we're going to go beyond looking at it we're going to go beyond a physical possession of it and now what was your name again I'm sorry Keith I forgot to introduce your property I'm turning another guy you're talking to is Terry Carter and who's your partner there Keith that's me Roy okay I'm just visitor I do more sightings as doing anyway always goes around while I'm finding that and kick rocks and cow pies around is he like to explore you like this well I'll tell you what there's a place I'd like to go if you had equipment that would go like 40 or 50 feet underground you know the limbs deposit is the one lender deposit uh uh lens...
deposit is where Mother Earth pushes the gold up sometimes to the surface and some pop some times you know if gold's an inch on the ground yeah you don't know if there's not there right it's not there until you open it up and open expose it right but they deal in the Box down there I searched my south of Las Vegas Las Vegas uh-huh and either lens the box I could take you and put you right on top of but we didn't have the equipment to actually pinpoint it but I can show you some ore bodies there that blow you away and show you some mine shaft that would scare the crap out and I like I'll explore that ground with some equipment that would find him because I know the guy that owns that property that he would kill to have somebody locate him and open him up for him really oh yeah that's a bluff of mine now well that's why the blossom yeah yep now we could have a lot of fun if we be if we could go after that they don't guarantee it because after that you play nothing to play it that's what's fun yeah be able to enjoy life but it's most know that the family's taking care of and deal the play that's what life's about yeah it is I grew that family's taken care of and provided for and did everything else then they don't matter yes I grew that like our topi was like mind over matter not mine I don't matter yeah well okay we'll have to get together ought to get together and show you some pictures of some things...
