I'm the basement, so they're like they're up there. I see everything good, very good, by the way, you know, Emily Blunt was here last weekend. This is strange because The Quiet Place, part two, had the big premiere in Nuevo. York like 14 months ago or something and everyone and everyone loved it and then you just had nothing, no one else saw it for a whole year, over a year after that, mate, I probably don't know, that probably never happened. Nothing like that had ever happened before, I mean, that's very strange, yeah, you remember that night in the whole deal, what was going on.

Yeah, well, you remember, I mean, the whole world was in this kind of anxious state and everyone was like this. We weren't sure what was going on and we just went ahead and did the press and everything and then we went to the premiere and people loved the movie and then you had a party and everything right after the movie, yeah we had a We had a party very tense afterward, like we all loved the movie and it was a great response, but it didn't necessarily feel like a priority atmosphere, yeah, no, not at all, and are the movie theaters open now in Ireland or are they still closed? ? there next week, I think oh next week, yeah, oh, very good, okay, so in the movie and I guess, based on that haircut, you're either involved in a lawsuit with super cuts or you're still you're shooting off peak

, I finished um on last Friday, ah, you did, oh, and that's the last season, the sixth season of the show, yeah, yeah, did you grab anything, did you grab a souvenir, a razor blade or whatever set thing, you know, can't I?

I can never really wear a flat cap for walking. I grabbed one of their very well-tailored coats because they are so made for me. It was very beautiful. I took it as a souvenir. I thought it was interesting, especially afterwards. doing all these seasons of PE blinders where you're on that communication app, that app, that meditation app, you read a story about that thing, yeah, yeah, I mean, it's acting correctly reading, I guess it's something similar, but how do you approach it? make it interesting and also try to put people to sleep, yeah, it's a strange direction because you have to be, I guess something appropriately soporific, really that's your that's the direction, it was a very beautifully written story. about Ireland and I'm a big fan of sleep, you know anything I can do to get other people to sleep.

I'm totally in favor of that. It's the only gig I had during lockdown, so I was very happy. It's like one of the most. popular audio pieces on the app, I think well, I think you know, I think Harry Styles is on there too, but he gets more views than me, yeah, yeah, but I feel like he's not putting that many people to sleep. maybe people are tuning into a different person for a different reason with harry, that could be true, i can't live up to that, no, you were in uh, you were in a

when you were a kid, right, that's how you, Uh, your first time. acting background, yeah, yeah, that's really what I wanted to do, like a lot of the actors that I talked to, you know, they're failed or frustrated musicians and that was for a long time during my formative years until the 20, that's what I wanted to do, but it didn't happen that way.

It didn't work. Would you consider yourself a failure or a frustration or both? I think a little bit of both, really, yeah, yeah, what was the name of the

Oh, so we were really into Frank Zappa when we were, I still am, but just as we were, we discovered Frank at sort of that age where you just absorb things and he was the one that blew us away, so we, we, we. I love this Hot Rats album that he did, I think in '69 and there was a record, a song on that record called um sons of mr green jeans, so we took that I know in Pinky Blinders you guys had a lot of acquaintances, uh, cool. musicians who contributed songs to the soundtrack like I think you two did that um who else was on that soundtrack oh man we've been um we've been very lucky well Nick Cave has obviously been very generous with his music , uh, Radiohead would be very generous. pj harvey we have tom waits in his white stripes like you're involved in that as far as contacting these people or talking to them about it.

I do what I can and the times I have met musicians they seem to like the program a lot, maybe it is because of the music or the equipment, I don't really know, but they seem to like it and they have been very generous in providing the music, Like I said, yeah, sure, I mean, no. You know there's every other show that has a soundtrack. I mean, maybe because, like sopranos or something, it's that heavy. You know, we're really looking. It all started with Nick Cave, really that red right hand tuning. that that set the tone, he planted the bad seeds and out of that came a good soundtrack, I don't think I can end it more poetically than that and, by the way, the movie is very good and very scary, a part of a

quiet
