x2 at home for joining us tonight happy to have you with us this is the largest US air base in the Middle East it is a logistics center for ongoing US operations in Afghanistan and Iraq it is a key asset for the US military in terms of its air power among other places in the Syrian civil war and in every combat and training mission in the region, this is a huge base, there are like 10 or 11 thousand American troops and the size and importance of this base is even more surprising given what a small place it is because this huge American air base is located in the small nation of Qatar, this really big American outpost in that very small country that sticks out like a thumb into the Persian Gulf, just off the coast of Arabia Saudi, right next to the United Arab Emirates and of course the United States have complicated and textured relationships with all the major countries in the Middle East, but with Qatar we have something very special: we have this huge air base, there are a lot of active duty members American service members who live there full time, that special thing between the United States and Qatar was what made it a stranger moment than usual in the Trump presidency when, just a few months after taking office office, President Trump mustered up the courage to try to pronounce Qatar live and in front of some cameras.

I think for the first time the reason he decided to take the leap and try to pronounce Qatar was so he could proclaim them as a group of terrorists, the nation of Qatar. Unfortunately, he has historically been a terrorist financier at a very high level. This was a somewhat random occasion for the president to mention this. He was standing there in the Rose Garden. Maybe he doesn't recognize the flag behind President Trump where he was staying. in the Rose Garden with the president of Romania when that thing about Qatar, ours, he calls it Qatar, he came out of his mouth like a loose set of false teeth.

However, it was also strange because that comment about Qatar seemed to be completely dissociated from anything else that was happening in American politics in The time I want to make a very fine point about how strange it was that the president decided that day that he was going to denounce Qatar as a group of terrorists, I mean, literally, less than a week later, the United States government sold Qatar a bunch of twelve F-15 fighter jets and twelve and a half billion dollars worth of fighter jets then , where did that Trump thing come from that day with him for no reason denouncing Qatar denouncing this country that has the largest American air base in the Middle East this key ally of the United States in the Middle East, why did he say that?

Elliott Brody Brody was operating some type of defense contracting company. Nader was planning to connect him with a huge amount of contract income, like a billion dollars. on the UAE and Saudi contracts was because his defense contracting company was the largest in the world and he should have those contracts. I don't know, but this is what Brody was supposedly going to do in exchange for getting those contracts in return. For those billions of dollars in contracts, this RNC vice president of finance leads fundraising events for the Trump campaign, Brody would use his influence with the new Trump administration to get the administration to do things that the US government The US would never be willing to do otherwise. but that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates specifically wanted in exchange for their company getting $1 billion in contracts would supposedly try to persuade the Trump administration that the president should start badmouthing Qatar, that the US government should.

The US should turn against Qatar that the US government should break away and start denouncing Qatar, where we have that huge air base. Qatar, this crucial US ally in the Middle East, the largest US military outpost anywhere in the Middle East, those other Gulf countries right next to Qatar, although the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia They see Qatar as their arch enemy they want to turn the US government against Qatar how much would they be willing to pay for that almost anything? presumably well Georgia Nader and Elliott Brody supposedly teamed up after meeting at Trump's inauguration to try to give those countries someone to pay To achieve that result, and that result, the President himself inexplicably spoke in the Garden of the Rosas, next to the president of Romania, on a beautiful day in June 2017, just a few months after his inauguration, out of nowhere, inexplicably denouncing Qatar as a terrorist, it's almost as if you could choose any day on the calendar, you could choose Any day that the Trump administration was in place, just pick one thing that happened that day if you then go back and tell the full story of what led up to that moment in the Trump administration. and what cast of characters made that moment possible, I mean, if you cast it really well and got George Clooney or Ben Stiller to direct it like you could make a movie about any day of the Trump administration that had a more outrageous plot. that anything that's happened in any other US presidential administration since there were automobiles or since America existed, I mean, only the president who makes them is there anyway, but now these kind of endings and the more complete backstory on these ex-cons and these revealed schemes that everyone is starting to get to. some dramatic takeaways when it comes to that sordid little plot to apparently pay for the US government turning on our ally Qatar, well Elliott Brady is no longer the RNC vice president of finance, he resigned from that position when was when he became silent. payments of money to a playboy model with whom he had had an affair, interestingly, his payment of money to that woman was negotiated by the president's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, and another lawyer named Keith Davidson, the two guys who were involved in payments of very similar money from the president.

have been pending against Nader for months, but he has apparently been out of the country and therefore beyond the reach of US federal authorities despite this sealed criminal complaint against him and a sealed arrest warrant filed with the court last April, today fell back into the clutches of US authorities when he re-entered the country he flew to. JFK Airport in the New York City area reportedly sought medical treatment upon landing at the airport. He was arrested and taken into custody. Today he made an initial appearance in the Eastern District of New York, which means that in federal court in Brooklyn the judge who heard his case said he believed Nader is a flight risk.

He wouldn't give her bail today. He ordered him detained overnight and re-evaluated tomorrow. Again, Zamel was the guy who had been offering a foreign election interference effort for sale at that Trump Tower meeting in August and again the Trump campaign says they didn't buy what he was offering, but Nader still paid him two million dollars right after. the election and that payment has still never been explained that same month of December 2016 Jorge Nadir is the one who organized another meeting this one between Jared Kushner Mike Flynn Steve Bannon and the crown prince of the United Arab Emirates who is generally described in the West for his initials mbz that meeting took place again in New York at the Four Seasons Hotel, this was right after the December 2016 election and that meeting ended up becoming kind of a flashing red light for the Obama administration at the time because it was a great protocol violation.

It was a strange thing that the crown prince of this US ally, the top government official, in fact the de facto ruler of that country, would come to visit the United States without telling the current administration that he was going to make a visit, it is something very unusual. The truth is that it is not the way these things are usually done, but in fact, in that meeting that George Nader organized in December 2016 he involved the crown prince of the United Arab Emirates there in person plus all those transition officials of Trump, it was held as a secret, the UAE did not notify the Obama administration that he was coming, they found out anyway that mbz was here and that he took that meeting, but knowing that he had entered secretly to the country to take that secret meeting set off the alarms of the Obama administration a month later, on January 20, 2017, just before the inauguration, Jorge Nadir organized another meeting and this time it was in an exotic place where he was. the Seychelle Islands Jorge Nadir is the one who organized that strange meeting where Erik Prince, the brother of Betsy DeVos, who is the secretary of education, the founder of the controversial security firm Blackwater, the man described in the Moller report is essentially a informal representative of the Trump transition.

The Russian sovereign wealth fund guy was there as an emissary from the Kremlin Nader is the one who brought them all together that's January 2017 later that month Donald Trump is sworn in and becomes president he becomes president Axios continues to report that George Nader becomes president a frequent visitor to the Trump White House during that first year Trump is in office is when Nader and Eliot Brody are apparently trying to pull off this plan where Brody will be paid contracts worth a billion of dollars in exchange for you using your influence to get the President to turn the United States government against Qatar despite the fact that we have this huge air base right there, as we approach the first anniversary of the Trump presidency In January 2018, Jorge Nadir apparently makes plans to travel to Mara Lago to attend what was expected to be beyond. the main festivities at the president's private club in Florida to celebrate his first year in office on the way to Mara Lago.

George Nader now has to transit through Dulles Airport, outside Washington, every time he does, he probably has flashbacks of his prison sentence because back in 1991. One of the times he was indicted on child pornography charges, the way where he got caught in 1991 is that customs officials found child pornography on reels of reel-to-reel tapes that were hidden in candy containers in his luggage while flying from Germany. and while trying to pick up his luggage at Dulles, they searched his luggage and found the child pornography that led to those 1991 charges and subsequent prison sentence. In 2018, FBI agents who detained him at the airport had a search warrant to search his luggage, search his person, and search his electronic devices. It now appears that those search warrants were related to Muller's investigation into foreign interference in 2016. Today's FBI affidavit filed in the new criminal case against Nader describes those search warrants as unrelated to the child pornography, so child pornography is not what they were looking for when they stopped and searched Georg Nader at Dulles Airport last January while he was en route. to Mara Lago, but child pornography is, however, what the government says they found, so to the already absolutely neat and somewhat terrifying story of Jorge Nadir this new twist can now be added.

I mean, it had been widely reported in multiple reputable news sources that when Nader began cooperating with Moeller's investigation, he was doing so under a grant of limited immunity, he was getting immunity in exchange for his testimony, and Moeller's report says blank and black that all but one of the interviews Nadir did with the special counsel's office were under the scope of some kind of bidding agreement meeting, Nadir would have had some kind of immunity in exchange for the testimony he was giving to Muller. , but if all that is true, if Nadir had reached some kind of agreement with prosecutors to avoid being charged. for his own crimes, why did they file a sealed criminal complaint and arrest warrant against him in April of last year, that is, that is the complaint, an arrest warrant that was served today when he re-entered the country, if he had some type of immunity, deal with the prosecutors for what? was the immunity, I mean why wasn't he charged, if he was charged for this, I mean these child pornography charges that he's facing a prison sentence for this, it's a range of 15 to 40 years that you didn't get immunity for this, but you got immunity for something else or you were also given immunity for these alleged crimes, but for some reason that immunity agreement you had has now been canceled either because of something you did or because of some change in the how the Justice Department sees it Jorge Nadir has been one of the most baffling characters and ex-convicts in a Trump campaign that, frankly, is full of them.
