any car i wanted that would be it a Murcielago, this is a cool car and all, but this is with the ticket here, so anyway some of you made some comments in the comments section about the engine being dirty and that's how I received this car. maybe you had been driving and it had dust and dirt and some of you said you should just wipe it down you should wipe it all down and wipe it down but a lot of you don't understand that in the automotive business there are a lot of things of precautions that you have to take I know Leo is a cool guy and wouldn't mind if I cleaned it, but I don't touch people's cars or do things other than specifically what they asked me to do, the quickest way to have a customer's right square in the middle of your butt is when you start cleaning things and you start cleaning and stuff and he says: I have a guy who does that.

I have one or several cars that I'm really not happy with. We are in the middle of an engine swap on this one, we have a new engine waiting and the old one on hold. aside and I'm going to move on to the old engine and go over some details with you, this is the engine, this is a 5.4 3

triton and for me and the years of experience that I have, I've been doing mechanical work for 17 years. This is the trashiest engine I have ever seen and you can take it to the bank. This is the twelfth. I have won $6,200 per figure, that is more than 70 to 80 thousand dollars.

On replaced engines, what happens on these is they have passages that feed oil to the cam phasers and people often, oh, I'll just put in new cam phasers or I'll try this or I'll try that's not the solution you can't. I mean, you can fix it, but it costs them as much or more than replacing the engine. Bad oil changes will cause this and I'll show you here in a minute what sludge is in this engine and it's not from the customer that currently owns the. The car is probably from a long time ago, before he had it, but it clogs some passages here and it doesn't supply enough oil pressure to the phasors and they make noise and rattle and there's nothing you can do but get the engine out of there . and replace it, look at all the sludge that's in here, look, I can stick my finger in it, just look at every little, tiny passage that's in this engine is clogged with this junk and that's the design flaw in these engines, the passages are too small, nothing is needed to clog them and when this happens in an engine, it is a sure way to make it unusable.

Today's modern engines do not tolerate sloppy oil changes. In reality, it should change three to five thousand miles. your oil, I don't care what your service says on your dashboard and this is a test, well I can go 10,000 miles, no you can't, because this is what happens here, a lot of people say, well why don't you can you just fix it? Why can't new cam phasors be installed? A new distribution chain. What good is that when there is still no oil pressure to operate them? That doesn't do anything. I have seen this scenario over and over again.

I have $1,500 at stake. this or 2,000 on two timing components and cam faders and it still plays and I really think I said this is the twelfth and I'm sure there will be many more. I like to do these that I've gotten used to. I know exactly how to get them out, get the others in quickly and that puts money in the bank, so people say Tyler is my college fund for my kids. I would say that now we are going to move on to the new engine and I. I'm going to show you more data so you can hear some noise.

I've got Scott here, he's working on this Viper for my client Bob. We're doing a lot of work on it and it's in pretty good shape but it needs a little more work and done a lot better so you can hear some banging from his stuff out there he's there working this is the new 5.4 a very common sight for my. I have seen many of these. Normally I would use a Jasper Motor, that's what I've used in the past, but this particular customer purchased his own motor and purchased it from Powertrain Products. I've read good reviews and don't see why that wouldn't be an option here. but it seems like a good engine to me, let's put it in and solve this problem once and for all so he can drive it and enjoy this truck with the old one, half of the engine didn't even work.

It got bad enough that all four cylinders in that bank weren't even firing. One of the problems I had with a client is that and I have had this problem every time they say what can we do to solve this problem and I say. new motor for six hundred to two hundred dollars and I think I'm full of money, so they go check, they call their friends, they call this guy, they call that one, they go to different stores and they get the same story and finally they come back to Me and They tell me I can't believe it, you have to have a new engine to fix this problem, but they finally give in, which I hate that they have to realize.

I hate to have to do this for anyone other than to make me money but I hate to see someone have to empty their bank account like this and one question I get is how come people on the road today Nowadays I don't know about this problem, how bad are these Ford engines and I don't know? I don't know why more people don't know that. I see them selling all the time. There is a reason you go to an auction or dealership. A Dodge or a Chevy costs, say, eighteen thousand or twenty thousand dollars for a good price. one used on the f-150 are you one for eleven? there is a reason this is known, this is a known problem but not to the public and I am here to tell you, hopefully it will save you some pain.

I'm not going to make a fuss about being an idiot. I really hope you pay attention to some of this. Don't buy one of these. They can find these engines and browsers. There are F-150. The excursions are different. a lot of engines use three 5.4

s, so I'll show you now more evidence to back up my claims. This is an account I have with identification. You can type in an engine code or a complaint or a problem and what's called pattern faults come up, it's not 99 100% guaranteed, but it's pretty close. I'd say 90+, that's probably the problem and that doesn't mean that's the part you're asking for, that means you already know. where to diagnose where, where, where to focus your efforts and it really saves a lot of time.

This is something I do every time I deal with this situation with a client who doesn't believe what I'm saying is true and then. They read these documents, there are no more questions, they don't ask me at all, so enter the codes p zero zero one two or some of the other codes that are listed with this problem and a guaranteed confirmed solution appears. no, maybe not, you come up with the absolute solution of what stores across the country are doing and what solved the problem. These are stores in a five or six state area. Everyone has reported replacing the engine.

They replace the engine. They replace the engine. motor replace motor replace motor replace motor replace motor replace motor replace motor replace motor replace motor there are all these types on the list these are stores nationwide replace motor replace motor replace motor replace the motor replace the motor replace the motor replace the motor anyway you get the point I want to show you that I wanted to print 29 pages I didn't let it go that far I just planned it with a bunch of them anyway replace the motor replaced the motor, how can you refute that?, how can you fight?, which is all over the country, which right there is just a small print, it actually lists over 500 confirmed fixes, which are not the ones that were reported, they are just the ones that are in the shops. who simply took the time to report it, could probably triple or quadruple that number.

Our documentation is there to say that that is the confirmed solution for this problem, which makes you think that engine there, the new one, will stay fixed just like I did. I told you on old engines it can be fixed but you have to strip it down to the bare block and basically rebuild it yourself and you will have as much money or more than just doing what we are doing here and a lot of your engine will still be the old parts, these companies like Jasper and I'm pretty sure with powertrain products and other companies when they have it all

they will make upgrades or modifications and just so you don't do that again these guys have a five year warranty that comes with it, you can buy a seven year warranty pretty confident that it's going to work pretty well for a long time, so if you have one of these, it's pretty recent, pretty new, and you haven't had it. for a long time, be sure to do oil changes.

I tell customers who have these engines later, even though they've done the upgrades, and even though I tell them to just do a three thousand mile oil change, it might be a little more expensive. front but in the long run it will keep it clean as you've seen here it's just full of sludge the second problem on these 5.4 engines they make some shitty spark plug pieces these are a two piece design all the way in jacket let me get this one out this one It came out pretty well, so as you can see, the dark part is separated from the bright part.

Here there are two pieces and it is very common for you to remove them and leave the dark part. behind the head it breaks and then you have to have special tools and belt removal tools to get it out and we usually charge an hour per spark plug to remove them when they break and I've seen customers who have tried to do their own thing. own spark plugs, they break all eight of them in there and it will take us days to get them all out, a couple of three days because you can't concentrate on one car constantly, you have to go to this car in that car, come back to this one, sometimes we let those things soak, if they leave some of the spark plugs in we will soak them and sometimes we get lucky and they come out, but why in the world would that be?

I mean, there was clearly no Engineering Intelligence in this engine, in my opinion, just in Maya, I'm not an engineer, but in my uneducated opinion, I would say that they just put this together and threw it out the door and said, hey, it works and they did it. she drives. It will last - warranties are up, get it out the door, that's what it is, so here pretty soon we'll put this new engine in and he'll have a good running truck again and that'll be the happy part of this whole scenario. He'll be able to go drive his truck, it'll drive well and run like it should, and even though he'll have to pay a lot of money to get it that way, I guess it's cheaper than buying a new truck, so I'll look.

I'm looking forward to getting it up and running for them and making them a happy customer, so the purpose of this video is to help them. They are in the market for a vehicle just like I did with my Avalanche. I've been 12 of them, so if you have to have this.
