like a 10 year old. You are tasked with traveling the land forming a team to finally fight against the strongest trainer, the Pokémon champion, if you have played the games when you hear a Pokémon champion. You might think of Blue or maybe Steven or maybe Wolfie Glake. Well, in Sword and Shield, you have Leon, who brings with him a new generation 8 Pokémon Charizard, so if I wanted to play Pokémon Sword as Leon, what does that really mean? Well, first of all, Leon's team. could be one of the best champion lineups, well any

pokemon

game using this team would probably bring depth and destruction to any trainer it faces so I'll take my team a different route as this will be a challenge .

I can't use elements, including held ones, and then any other rules I can think of. I'll add them later when starting the game. I needed to choose a name and considering we're just Leon, but I better start the game by choosing Score Bunny. and then proceed to jump into an initial battle before moving on to get the pokedex now that I have the expansion pass I have the added bonus of waiting where to spend all that extra money? I have access to some cool new clothing options that should really be in the base game and moving towards route 2.

I learned how to catch a Pokémon. I

beat

Hop once again by using himself against him. I got a magic bracelet and then I got the endorsement from the man himself and Leon pretty much endorses his. own defeat at the hands of himself it is time to leave home on a train and return to better follow in Leon's footsteps. I decided to head to the Isle of Armor to train like Leon apparently once did. It's not like anything really happens in this monotony. Side mission in the middle of the sea, we meet a new rival who wants to fight, enroll in a martial arts dojo and then hit and

an old man, chase him after a fast and slow hit and finally we can choose a new starting lion.

I already got an advantage in the initial selection by choosing Charmander, which left me with only blue Charmander. That being said, I then went straight to exchanging it for a real one over the internet, but this is where the race changed with Charmander at my side. I started to really wonder if anyone really cares about Leon's other Pokémon. When did anyone ever mention Leon Seismitoad or Mr. Rime? So I came to this conclusion: a Charmander is all I need, so you might be thinking this will just be Charizard. run well that's how I like to think of it that's how every gen warner remembers

oh and pikachu gathering the one man army it was time to return to the continent and continue this journey following in Leon's footsteps time really is relative like when we returned to the wild area after months of being away on the island.

Both Hop and Sonia pick up right where we left off and cross what feels like a glorified countryside after the crown tundra. I arrive at Motor Stoke ready to sign up for the gym. challenge, now I had to choose a number and since there was already one chosen, I decided to look for a better one, since the initial game went on long enough. I'm going to do everyone a favor and make this next part quick. I met the team. In the hotel lobby I ran into another of my rivals who had laughed at Hop in another battle who by the way hadn't questioned why I changed my starting Pokémon and then hit the mines if I didn't have enough right now.
I stopped to add one more rival to my list for the battle against Bead and lost trying again, this time I was victorious and finally made it to the first gym, while I like to think I gave Milo a chance with the opener in the form of only base there was. There's just no contest, spamming Firefang took out both Gossip Flair and El Digos with ease, earning our first gym badge. Fortunately, after the grueling initial game, we pick up the pace after the first gym and I can make a direct B-line to the second with just a single Pokémon.
We can get through this double battle and earn myself such a bike anyway. As I cross the bridge, I unfortunately run into Hop, who will stand there menacingly until you run over his entire team. Arriving in Hullbury brings the first real challenge. The water type gym battle before entering, although a change in my clothing attempts to keep the title relevant and now I can face the gym entering without strategy. This seemed like an insurmountable task facing loss after loss, but I was determined. to do it for free with just Charmander, but nothing worked when checking Charmander's potential moveset.
I saw a move that could allow for the greatest winning strategy. You see this move can only be obtained as an egg move and the counter only works when attacked by an opponent's physical move, however when dynamaxx counterattack becomes max knuckle which is an effective move, use max knuckle gives you an attack boost which now allowed me to hit the battleship steadily but I still didn't have enough damage to win so I tried something else, this is where I discovered that tr training increases attack and special attack by a spot. This was all the extra damage I needed.
Three training and two max knuckles take out Golden and Arakuda in single hits, bringing the attack bonus to plus five. A crazy high attack start allowed Charmander to crush the battleship in one hit and collect the second gym badge. Yes, sure it may have been difficult, but Leon's budget continues to prove why Charmander is the only Pokémon you'll need in the mines now, but. With number two at our side we go and we have to fight again. This battle is a complete joke after the difficulty we had in the water gym, as we now have crises, which brings us back to Motorstoke for the next gym, but not quite.
You see, this generation really likes to throw rival battles at you every 10 minutes and this time we had Marnie. I guess it was a little overleveled here, being 10 taller than each of Marnie's Pokémon, which is probably a result of the charm XP you now get. on the Isle of Armor just making the game a little easier because you know it really needed it now with the barrage of rival battles out of the way. I wanted to make one last move before facing the ancient power of the gym. Now you see that this move is a pain to have Charmad alone, as it must be transmitted like an egg moving from shallow water to Lapras and then to Charmander, but this one will have several benefits.
Leon's final Charizard knows this, so I'll save myself some time. the line and two, this cabin destroys fire type Pokémon, it only took two ancient powers to eliminate the nine tails and then only one maximum rockfall to defeat both Arcanine and Center Scorch, easily winning the battle and earning another badge of gym. I debated Charmander's evolution afterwards. this initial trio of gyms, but aside from the second one, I haven't really faced any difficulties yet, the only real goal is to have Charmander fully evolved before the final battle against Leon, so you know I still have a little time to move on.
We need to progress the plot by listening to endless lines of thought-provoking dialogue which, let's be honest, you don't really care about - apparently Sword and Shield finds it necessary to deliver the game's entire narrative in the space of five minutes, so now I have repetitive tension in my right thumb after a quick chat with the champion, we can finally get the ball rolling towards the fourth gym egg. Movements have already been crucial in this race, so I trap the annoying bat, allowing our wingless Charmander to learn to attack with his wings. Getting to the stone side is the home of the fight. type gym, but it would be too easy to jump right in because Hop is here, don't worry, not that this poses a threat to the ultimate line of Pokémon, as the flamethrower makes this battle too easy before we head to the fourth gym .
Wingless Charmander actually finds benefits in his wings and immediately, by using maximum airflow, he can easily hit Ko Hitmontop. Pangoro's dual dark type makes him the perfect target for Max Knuckle and these last two max turns provide some easy attack boosts which I then used. Some training to make sure that after such a far-fetched chaos I wouldn't have any problem turning off the match amp in one fell swoop, I was hoping to do exactly the same thing again this time, the matcha for some reason goes down in one fell swoop and we have another one. gym badge in the bag as I leave the gym I meet Bead who has decided to take drastic measures by trying to blow up a mural just to get our attention, while the team of psychics didn't work before, they obviously don't work here again and our super effective crunchy Charmander makes the job quick and eats up the whole team.
Unfortunately, this guy just doesn't understand that destroying property will actually have some real-world consequences and the guys arrive to take him away. B's destruction blesses us with another history lesson before I can move through the thicket into another gym battle for whatever reason. The 5th Gym Battle in Sword and Shield really wants to make it easier with constant free stat boosts every few turns, which really makes it impossible to lose, so here's the 5th Gym Badge, the 6th. gem takes us back through hammerlock where we meet bead who got an early release with a get out of jail card, then we head to the other side of town for another rival battle against hop, now this fight can be the change of difficulty. a lot of challenges as hop actually brings a pretty balanced team, but i had faith in young charmander and his ever expanding moveset, but for some reason i couldn't get past snorlax this time, trevenant didn't use a confuse ray, which which allowed a free Working on a flamethrower to kill Snorlax took two free abs to take him out with much less trouble on the second try and I wonder why Hop didn't use a potion here, the rest of the team wasn't a problem for the future. champion in the making and now I head to route 8 and find another tm that further bolsters Charmander's already strong moveset and coincidentally this will end up being super useful at the next rock gym.
Arriving in Surchester brings with it the sixth gym now. rock is bad for our fire type and water written jewel, that's really bad, this barbarian was a real problem for our Charmander, apparently barbarian would lead with a shell crush every time, regardless of the circumstances, which would make him he would faster than Charmander and use the razor shell now. Believe me when I say that I tried countless times and not once could I best this barbarian, so I ardently crafted him to trap a drudagon on the Isle of Armor, then passed the dragon's tail to Charmander, use the dragon's tail. dragon would force the barbarian to switch on the restart of the battle. speed him and give me time to bulk up Charmander before facing him again and this was just the answer I needed.
The dragon's tail changed barbarically eliminating the only real threat. This gave me plenty of time to build up Charmander's stats and on its return use a single brick to break and Take It Out, the other Pokémon had very little competition for this powered up lizard and although it faced a terrifying max rockfall, Charmander Brick breaks to win and gets the sixth gym badge in this short period between the battle of the last jump, just go out and catch. a completely new team that is honestly possibly worse than the last, saying that although I would suggest that I found this battle easy and one of my first attempts, right, no, it just didn't happen.
You see, snorlax can paralyze 30 times with a body hit and Obviously, that happened, fortunately, with the double first and the jump team, this gave him plenty of time to develop Charmander's attack laugh and then proceed to use stats of very high attack to eliminate the entire team, which again supports Leon's need for a single Pokémon, oh, and yes, that's good. It's just bad to move along the next route and grab inflatable wheels for our bike. It came to another rival battle against Marnie. Now I won't spend much talking about this, but I have something that is pretty fun.
This part of life really has very few opportunities. to attack with his moveset, sure he can maybe use a fake on the first turn, which he didn't do, but low blow requires the opponent to attack to deal damage and the other two moves are just status based, so obviously this is the perfect time to start. we boost and then proceed to eliminate the entire team by headingto a very long corridor that somehow has the city title, we defeat some female grunts and reach the seventh gym. Battle Docks on paper should be an easy fight, it has no dark type dynamics.
Pokémon and a super effective brick-breaking Charmander on our side, well, at least that's what I thought anyway until I lost to Malamar on the first try. Scrafty's intimidation is just annoying as it reduces your attack, but luckily we also have a flamethrower which is a special. move and has the backstab bonus using only one job, this allows Malamar to be taken out with a flamethrower even if it's not super effective, but I still had a big problem with only 10 hp left and two Pokémon to fight. I started to consider my options for the next attempt but somehow this is where the tables turned, the obstacle didn't use obstruct where it normally would allowing for another easy ko that just left the scout tank and this is where it seems like I used my giant brain scan tank.
Always lead with a low blow in this battle, which would result in death rules, so instead I went for a status move on turn one so the skunk tank couldn't use his low blow and use a flamethrower on the next turn wins the battle somehow. There are times when the return seems reasonable, yes, this was not one of them during the five minutes I spent on Spike Murph to never return. Then I left to hear a loud explosion and I knew it was my champion moment and as you can see. My heroic acts even made the news.
The 8th gym is just a way back to where we already visited, so why should I walk when I can do this in Hammerlock? I get some praise from my friends for taking on the big bad. Bridge Pokémon before heading to the last gym, I left this final gym that requires double battles, so you know, I just took the old hop out of the box just for the sole purpose of using a sacrificial lamp, but this is where the problems finally arose, I couldn't even make a dent. in the first trainer eliminated by a pulse of water, before even reaching the main battle of the gym, I change the movements slightly and then try again, this time I can eliminate the sligoo but I fall before the almighty god pelipper and his pulse of water now I'm going to reiterate that this was the trainer before the battle in the gym, but I wasn't done and I had one last thought: teaching Charmander on a sunny day would remove the rain buff from water-type moves and decrease its base power at 50 which would hopefully give him the bulk Charmander needs to get through the battle, while this would probably win after a few tries.
I ended up losing again, so I did this in retrospect. I'm completely sorry, but there's no turning back now. These increased. Charme

leon

's stats gave the trainer no chance and now it was time to face the gym leader. The 8th double gym battle can be a real pain if you can't control Flygon and it breaks and reduces your attack, but the evolved alien charm just brought it. Too much firepower and this really got ridiculous, hey even the sacrifice jump managed to survive most of the battle as Charme

leon

just hit Ko after Ko Chiralid on the ace uses a very scary looking Max Rockford , but our mvp jump just steps in and takes. the hit like a boss, yeah sure, maybe I shouldn't have had a second Pokémon potentially take the hardest hit, but it's just what happened, so you'll have to accept that there's only laughter left if its influence on the match It hasn't been... there is such a thing as surviving a body press, that's why this wasn't a rock move, I'll never know, a flamethrower wins the battle on the first try and with that young Leon has all the gym badges and a Champion battle is now easily in view by jumping on a train.
We have seen an animation of a sneakily recycled train. I see that it is exactly the same as the beginning of the game, only with changed images. Oh yeah, but before we get to Wyndon we have a big, stupid baby victory path that honestly never takes more than five minutes. Beat, seeing this route always disappoints me, but when you cross that hill at the end you really feel like you've done something good. Winden always looks really impressive in this intro cinematic, but this place actually has about the same amount of content as Evergrand Saying. That pretty much the only thing you can do is go straight to the leagues, so that's what we do.
Marnie's battle starts first and hey, you probably remember that lying part, yeah, that's still here. Well, dynamaxx free max knuckles was going, one hit each. the next three Pokémon and you can probably see why I regret the evolution, now look, even a non-stab move completely destroys the shadow style in one hit, since Marnie has no competition for this charmeleon maybe a little too level, but next was the hot battle pop that has exactly the same team that you have seen before only this time with a slight variation in the moves and how it has fought tirelessly to defeat the only Charmander of the young Lion throughout the game , now it would be different leading the battle with Dynamaxx.
Three unique max moves eliminate the The first three Pokémon come out of just Korvanite and Willaboom and we have the flamethrower coming out of the arena. We are greeted by Leon, who laughs profusely at the mutilation of his brother, but does not know that he is next. This threat must have given Leon when he mysteriously disappears. shortly after this and we have to investigate why, hey, I get it. I'd probably also be feeling scared if a ten-year-old copycat with a single Pokémon had defeated every notable trainer in the region long after killing the entire Steel-type population.
Pokémon and crossing the land and climbing a very tall tower. I only have one coach who seems very angry in my way. You see that Olianna sends frost first, which must have been a mistake, so she corrects it by sending a water-type melodic shot. A few turns to remove, but it doesn't deal a single point of damage, so I'll leave it there. The rest of the battle was very easy. We finally find Leon and we get to see a really sinister scene ending. It doesn't amount to anything, so we just head home as if nothing had happened.
Young Lion is now entering the home stretch, but before heading to the elite four, I grabbed a thunder strike that will tease an upcoming water battle. Oh yes, but in a way. I forgot that Bead was the first of the four fights, but luckily, as always, this team is effortless, the first of the three Pokémon is defeated with one hit and then it's the final Pokémon and we still have Dynamaxx, so Nessa is next and this time me. I'm prepared, sure the second gym battle was tough, but now I have so much utility on my side that there's no way I'm going to lose.
The galicipod is sent first and luckily this makes it very easy for us even though a thunder strike can't hit ko. This Pokémon emerges with less than half HP, so we can deal with it later. Rod Scooter has very little defense, so a single thunder strike is enough and then galicipod returns to die. The search serves as a minor inconvenience. Actually having some defense, so I take it. the safe route and dynomax, a single max beam is enough to take it out and then I use another antipelipper which serves as a four times effective reward for all the trouble this pokemon caused me before taking us to the final pokemon battleship.
There was no way this was going to happen. Pokémon could be defeated with a single hit from Charmeleon, but using a maximum beam brought it closer. Dreadnor uses max rockfall, which should mean it's all over for Charmeleon, but somehow he's able to survive just fine. a full restoration, but this only delays the inevitable as we pick up the wind two turns later. I definitely saw this one being a lot harder but without a classic and lovely electric type move like thunder strike, yeah it probably would have been next, it was b and instead of bringing back the wing attack I had something different in mind using a full fire type suit this type will give you acrobatics which is a move that has more than what it seems, you will see if your Pokémon does not have an item this move doubles its power converting it from a base power move of 55 to 110 either way , this move is a complete mockery of this team, a single hit kills Pokémon after Pokémon until only the matchup remains a single maximum air current, it is not enough to eliminate it, so it becomes the only one.
Pokémon to attack and you may not have it, which leaves only the right hand as the final of the Elite Four, I mean the Champions Cup because it is different in some ways. I've always said that Raihan's single battle version is much easier than the double gym version. battle, but considering how it happened, anything could be more difficult. Toko was first and I had completely underestimated him, resulting in zero effective moves, so I had to weaken him over the next few turns, but having yawned, I quickly tried to kill him before the chameleon fell. Asleep but barely missed it and this probably ended up being a good thing.
You see, Torco could deal little to no damage, so I just predicted the awakening turn and used dynamaxx on Come Flygon, which wasn't a problem to immediately drop to max Wornwind, but next up was Gudra. This very tanky Pokémon had water-type moves at its disposal, so being a little worried about both the surge and the muddy water and its moveset, Reihan decided to opt for the rain dance instead of an attack, so I just swept it aside with the dragon pulse like the guy. who claims to be Leon's greatest rival, you know, I guess it makes sense that the pressure he received from facing the superior version of the Tertinator doesn't really have anything going for him, as he simply falls to a single dragon pulse, leaving only duraladon, this imposing skyscraper uses a maximum rockfall that barely loses the ko and with a sand storm, charmeleon has dropped to free hp, but with how slow this Pokémon is, one more flamethrower cleans it up and finishes the cup of champions without wasting time, I go straight back. onto the field with my team fully healed in the biggest battle of all, but oh no, why does that simple President Rose go on the big screen to blow up the stadium and want to ruin the day by creating a new day?
The darkest day why because the story anyway is a brief reprieve from the battle while Leon runs off to have some champion time or whatever he does and then I go look for a rusty

sword

in the forest in Hammerlock, the President Rose wants to put one last obstacle in our way. So it's only fair that we take out his team of Steel-type Pokémon before heading to the roof. Here we saw Leon trying to catch a legendary with a standard pokeball, which, come on, is never going to work. Leon, what were you thinking? Well, that is unless you're the 10-year-old Pokémon protagonist and just a better Lion because then anything is possible after saving the entire world.
It's important to get a much-needed three-day sleep before finally having the grand finale of Leon versus a 10-year fraud, but before that. can happen so the title still makes sense stop let's be honest this title died a long time ago leon and I mean the real leon here starts with an aegis slash and uses a king shield which only delays the inevitable when the fire explosion destroys it on the next turn. dragapolt is I sent in second place and took this opportunity to start developing Charizard to sweep Leon's team using gigantomax and Max Airstream takes out Dragapult in one hit and this increase in Charizard's speed will mean that nothing can compete now, the Mr.
Rime immediately burns to a crisp. and then comes intellion, leon charizard's extremely wide move pool means we have a grass counter to intelion and a single max overgrowth makes short work of it here, haxorus is sent out as the penultimate pokemon and manages to dodge a blast of fire finally allowing the first. A bit of damage to be dealt to this one-man army trying to use a fire blast next turn isn't enough for a one-hit ko, as it isn't very effective, allowing the saws to metals take down Charizard, this definitely seemed like the end, as a full restoration comes next.
Wildfire takes it low, but luckily two quick slashes in the air create a quick ko that leads to the final mirror battle and to be honest, it's the only one that really matters, as Leon Gigantimax says. We pray that somehow a single ancient power will be able to charge a ko with a single hit. and notmirrors exactly what we did before until haxuris, this time I just used an aerial slash to take him out without taking as much damage as we go back to the Charizards battle again, ancient power can't ko here which means maximum rockfall for sure will be the end, but he doesn't use it, why this gorge, the last obstacle, gives our Charizard a second ancient power to overcome the line and secure the anticlimactic victory that this battle always seems to provide and with which this 10 year old years has worked very hard to demonstrate a very important lesson if you struggle with many of life's obstacles and want to become the best as if no one has been just copying someone else, thank you for watching everyone, this was a long time in the making for me and I hope you can understand that these challenge videos take a lot of time to put together with all the editing and I have worked very hard to make this the best one yet and now this is the part I am going to ask If you liked it, don't hesitate in leaving a like on the video and subscribing as it really helps me oh yeah and follow me on Twitter too because no one does, thanks for watching.
