May 31, 2021
Welcome to Early's wrinkled headquarters. Let the old trampling fire be here. Welcome back. Thanks and I'm here with my friend Sal. I'm here and that's because we just launched a bunch of new things on the Jemma comm

cupcake

website. You may have seen snippets of some of the videos Sally has been making while I was away and I thought about it. It would be really cool to show you how to use a particular item and that is this

piping

nozzle set. Yes, this is amazing. I have used it several times in videos before, but we will show you how to use them all in others and get great

decorating

skills, so in this kit we have the round nozzle, a multi star nozzle, a classic type of star nut or a nozzle of rose and a petal nozzle along with a beautiful reusable

piping

bag so you can wash it and use it again. and a pair of air, which means you can very easily switch from one mouthpiece to the next and you know there are so many piping roses out there that you don't have these.

The techniques that we will show you today, you can use the different nozzles. Also, it's not all about this, we just want to show you some interesting tips. Really, this will just help you get started. Are there five really basic ones that everyone should have in their closet or draw? Yes, totally, so we. I'll start with the round nozzle because it's like one of the essentials, not only can you use it for

cupcake

s and cakes, it's also great for meringues, you already knew that new unicorn poop, macaroons and caps, yeah this is ace. nozzle that we have to have, so we'll start with the classic swirl, we'll start by squeezing a nice blob in the middle of the cupcake, spreading it out a little bit, lifting it up and sweeping it, and there you have a classic kind of well, that's what we mainly use in the bakery , yeah, it's pretty nice and round, it's not too much I think, but I know a lot of people like to have any kind of Whitney, Pooh emoji, so it's pretty simple, it's a lot to say and we.

More Interesting Facts About,

buttercream piping cupcake decorating masterclass cupcake jemma...

We're going to start in the middle of the cave the same way we did now, so squeeze in the middle, make a layer, then lift the nozzle, continue bringing it to the center, squeeze and consistently the entire time and then sweep up in the middle. up and there you have lots of lovely layers of

buttercream

that look an awful lot like a food emoji but it's pretty good for the tall hats when you dip them in enjoy yeah yeah this is really great for that so that's the mouthpiece number one, Gemma. you are next, I am next and I am using the second most popular novel probably in the world and certainly in the bakery and that is the normal type of classic star nozzle, it is a six point nozzle, it is really useful only for bonito swirls.

You can also make flowers with it, you can also make it on large cakes to give them pretty ruffles and I'm just going to show you two recent ways to use it starting with the classic one, so just like with Sally's first one, squeeze out a generous blob. to start and then in the same way build it up a little bit ending in the middle at the top and then sweep it gently. I love this, it goes well with this one and the first one as a classic cupcake. It looks yes, it is beautiful. I put it on you and the color is very pretty Gemma, yes, what's your next trick?

The next one is basically the same, but with a different grip, so you end up having more ruffles, I think, and more ruffles, copy everything perfect and at any time yes. You feel like you just want to practice and not waste the Pixo frosting, grab some greaseproof paper or a clean surface and you can practice placing the new pin. I'll scrape it off and use it again and actually this one. one does it, it seems very simple, but it takes a little time to get used to. You know, this one is really good for practicing, so we're going to start on the side and not the middle for this one and I'm going to work on it a little bit. slower squeeze out more frosting as you move to create this beautiful ruffled effect and then keep the same direction just rotating all the time ending up on top take it off and I think this one looks a little more decadent than the other one obviously because there's more, I think so, it looks like some sort of frilly swimming huh, so next we'll do the multi stunner and a little top tip that I just saw Gemma sneeringly do off camera: she cleaned the top of the mouthpiece with a little bit of paper and it's really important to keep your nose nice and clean because if you have any kind of dry ice on it it's really going to affect the way it comes out yeah and also sometimes it just squeezes out on its own and you don't want to start with something that has already oozed out.
Yes, you will end up with a knot or a regular shape. Yeah, we're not quite over it, so multi-star, that's all we're going to do. start again in the center, squeeze nice and big, go around the edge and squeeze consistently the entire time, then work your way up to the center all the way to the top and sweep. I love this, I think it looks very elegant and that's it. Like a temple, you know? I realize it, but you go clockwise and then I untie myself. It's like turning the ends of our bags differently to the right.
The next one of these is a little more fun, so we'll do a squeeze. in the middle, give it a little pressure as you pull it off and then we'll go around the edges completely. You could leave it like that, but I like to go into spaces by layering it with a lot of little spots, maybe. one besides that: how fun Gemma is. I love her and it seems like she is a character. She looks like a cactus. I take drugs. I think a cactus is the name of a cactus anyway. On the contrary, the tyranny that we have been told, but. very pretty and it's like it's like a tentacle yeah you like to spray it gold really some girly spot anyway I would love to spray this girl well next is the petal nozzle which is a little intimidating , I think some people because it can be used. making flowers, which can be a little daunting, but I'm going to show you two really easy ways to use them, so the first shape I'm going to make is just a very simple multi-petal flower, so with the thickest part of the nozzle on the outside and thin partners inside.
I'm going to create little petals going around and around to make a layer and then I'm going to change my colors for a little more drama and use the same position. just go over and do another layer with it and then to finish it off, just to make it look a little bit more like a flower. I have some small beads that I'm going to place in the middle and I think they look very pretty. really nice and it's quite simple - it didn't actually seem too technical because I'm the same, I find it a bit daunting, don't stop, not that I've stayed away from it, yes I'm trying but no.
I love it, yes, I'm going to make another one that is similar, but with the nozzle upside down, with the pointy part facing out, so we'll start by making a more or less outer layer and as you can see, I'm moving it very slowly but moving it a little bit just to create these lovely little ruffles and then instead of taking it off, I'll go ahead and then finish it off neatly and then if you want you can put in some little pearls. also oh oh pretty, it would be really good for a cupcake with flowers, like a vanilla or lavender rose, maybe yes, yes, you know, you can actually think with all this, no, you could create some kind of bouquet or maybe turn it over. yeah, and another one that's really good, something simple, a little bit simpler than getting a floral effect, is the Rose mouthpiece and you may have already seen Jemmy use it the time we do this thing at the bakery, super, super simple, but it gives a great effect, so we'll start in the middle, so start in the middle with a nice big blob and then you'll wrap around it staying very close to the center each time, letting the shape wrap around itself and believe this. a really beautiful rose and I'm going to sweep it in the same direction and that's very simple but it looks very elegant and elegant and you know what I love about this one too is that it looks amazing, but you have We almost didn't use icing, yeah, to the others, so it's very quiet.
Lastly, we'll be making something that looks like a hydrangea and Gemma has done a more in-depth

masterclass

on piping KY

buttercream

. I guess we'll leave that. below, but we'll start with a little bit of mud in the middle giving a little flounce like Gemma did in one of the previous ones and as we get it out we'll go over all the little spots that will give a little bit of pressure when you pull. top and then more layers again and one in the middle and there it looks super pretty and what's really nice to do is tone it while putting two different types of colors or slightly different strains of the same color. the piping bag is what I do in the hydrangea video so we'll definitely put a link to that in the description box below, obviously this is just ten things you can do with five tips and there are millions, maybe millions, but there are many. models out there, you may not have these.
I want to see what you guys come up with even if it's these nozzles that you have because there are tons of things you can do and make sure you take lots of pictures.
