Brett Eldridge - One on One with Kelly Sutton

So this is like a big day. You've got stuff in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Brett Eldredge. i literally walked around here like just a tour fan i mean i can't tell you how many times i waited to look at elvis' car there and like you know the one with junior's boots and i like all these crises i remember and maybe be a piece that someone else remembers and there are multiple pieces of my story and they're already there, that's great, what does the family think about it? I hope you guys love that you're here somewhere, so she was looking for it.

I think you're about to see it right now, but I know my mom calls a lot of days and asks if she should dress up for this. This is a big problem. go and have some fun and check out the exhibit i got my tuxedo i wore at the CM an award i wanted the year i won mm-hmm new artist of the year that was like my favorite talks yeah that was a cool tuxedo and i was like my first legit tuxedo like really nice you know i feel like the last time i had a tuxedo maybe i had one in college but other than that it was like prom in high school i loved wearing Suits, I had tons of shoes at the time, but the tuxedo is like the only outfit you wear once in a while. that was a cajun to wear and then he went on to win it and then all of a sudden they asked if we could take it and put it on display and I was like absolutely yeah it's like I don't want to save my closet I wanted to sit in the Hall of Fame of Country Music all day, take it, who are you next to you?

I'm nice to Ronnie Dunn, man, what's his name? Yeah, I didn't know they were going to do that. on it because it's so surreal because he's one of the main reasons I'm in country music so the way they tied him up and they ta I talked about it and the exhibit would you talk about it? Tell me the story. He used to be my best friend. I have been to high school and several of my friends. We would put Brooks and Dunn. owned by a family called Betsey Oh Bessie we call her Bessie because I don't really know why but she was like that name where she's like some kind of reliable ship that always ends up turning on even though she's kind of old and not very good , OK? so we put a car stereo in the boat and we put brooks and diane work we had to go buy that cd like five different times because we would always wear it out or break it or spill it that or something right and that was like a big part of me life and that was a big part of my memories and why i write songs and why i am before i was a country singer and now i'm right next to Ronnie Dunn and i got to sing with him onstage before and now i got to become his friend and all that. those things then all of a sudden to be standing next to him and the Country Music Hall of Fame and showcasing it's pretty surreal it's cool it's cool tell me about the new single oh man this has been a single I've I'm dying to show people I'm dying to show people this side of my personality.

Many people have seen me in interviews or on social media. They know I'm quirky. madness alive and yeah yeah so i wanted i wanted to put that into a song you know i wanted i wanted to put a crazy entry into my mind you know and you know take a walk in my shoes for a minute and i hope you know everyone accepts their flaws you know accept you crazy accept your quirks things that are awkward or whatever and make them beautiful make them your own thing that's okay screaming is there yeah oh yeah well the screaming came by accident oh it really did a Then it became a thing because I was like if I was fooling around in the studio.

I was like, uh, and I didn't know why I went back to the choir, so I kept going up to the top and I. I look around and keep going and then it came back to the top of the chorus and somehow I landed perfectly on it and we thought we have to keep that and it just became a thing and now it's like man, when you see that concert live , everyone goes crazy and it's so much fun and just an amazing way to introduce my new album so I'm excited and excited, my fans have embraced it and are having fun. with that i watched the video you got those things it never really happened like you dont wear stuff you ain't that clumsy if you dont but you did say ok i definitely am i love playing with fire like you said you know how to play like you know how to make campfires and all stuff and fireworks and stuff so i'd be surprised if i end up with you i know you know how to set my house on fire which surprised me but i haven't done it yet so let's try to go with that let's try to go with that all good good stuff talk to me touring whats going on luke bryan to the lights tour dude and then to the loving hunting and fishing tour every day so now we are finishing up the kill ice for her then we go to May and how we're all together, oh yeah, start that tour. here in Maine, yeah right, May 5th, which I love to play here, are you waiting here with Keith Urban at Bridgestone?

I was there and it was amazing, it was a lot of fun, so to go back and play with Luke and these tourists is a lot of fun. I don't know this is really fun like yeah you can really I mean it's very chill and it feels like summers like summer camp like we just saw you amazing just your friends out there and you just kind of is this loose backstage it's a lot of fun in a great vibe so that's my kind of it's my kind of trip I mean a hutton fishing at 11:00 every day it's kind of summer camp yeah really , I'm like, like, I was texting, they looked at me, I was like when we face him on this tour because I mean he's going to be hot fishing I don't expect us to go hunting like good morning but losses go to fisticuffs, alright it looks good and we all love each other so there's a girl
