Bose Smart Soundbar 600 Review And Compared To 300

300 sound bar has been my sound bar and the favorite sound bar to recommend. I really feel that you can't be wrong with the Smart 300 sound bar of Bose. But now, we have the Bose Smart Soundbar 600, which is the successor of the 300. Now, the 600 has a new speaker configuration and now has Dolby atom support.  Then, Toady are going to see the performance improvements from 300 to 600, and if you already have the 300, if it is updated. But in this video, we will only focus on the sound bar itself. Now let's talk first about the design of this sound bar ... 600 is almost identical to 300. The 600 basically has the same footprint of the feet as 300 ... except that it is a little shorter than 300, in terms of length. But in general, the 600 has a decent footprint, and this sound bar is very discreet thanks to its plastic cover that does a really good job by not creating reflections and, fortunately, there are not constantly in the indicator lights that can be distracted in other sound bars.

So, 600 does a very good job simply disappearing when you are watching a movie. The only main difference between 600 and 300 design in terms of design is that 600 now has a grill at the top. And this is where the new upward speakers are located. But we'll talk about that later. Now as with the 300, the 600 is connected through a port of CA ... and fortunately there are no external power bricks for which you worry too much ... which makes the wiring this sound bar in your configuration is a little easier ... and also makes the wall assembly a little easier too. However, in the Bose style, the 600 is not included with a wall assembly kit, which is sold separately.

But something that is now included with 600 is an HDMI cable, which is a good touch because with 300, you would have to buy it separately. And this leads us to one of the main updates in 600 over 300. The 600 now has an HDMI EARC, and combined with the new 600 speaker configuration, it will have a true Dolby Atmos support. But unfortunately 600 still does not have an HDMI in the port. So, if you have a blue ray player or a game console, you will not be able to plug directly to this sound bar. Now that it continues with the issue of connectivity, the 600 has Wi -Fi support ...

So once the 600 is in WiFi, you can control it using the Bose Music application ... but also the 600 has AirPlay 2 support, which is good if it is in the iPhone user that will be able to transmit it. Wi -Fi Network. And this is a big problem because the 300 initially had no support for the cast of Chrome. And if you wish, you can always use Alexa or Google Assistant with her sound bar and use it as a

speaker. Now personally, I do not use voice assistants in my sound bar because I do not want to interrupt the possibility that my film is interrupted ... so personally I do not use voice assistants in my sound bar.

However, if you can't or don't want to connect this sound bar to Wi -Fi ... you can always transmit it using a Bluetooth connection. But having Bluetooth in your sound bar is also useful if you want to let your friend DJ ... but you don't want to share your Wi -Fi password. But independently, I recommend that you connect with the sound bar to Wi -Fi so that you can use the application and control this sound bar, and also so that you can transmit it through airplay or chromecast. But now let's talk about the solid sound about this sound bar.

With respect to the speakers configurations ... Both sound bars have a front -shot tweeter, both have transducers on each side that are triggered at a 45 degree angle and both have low dual cameras with exhaust ports that trigger the back. However, the 300 has a pair of transducers mounted in the front shooting center that flank the tweeter. Where as with the 600 ... it has moved it in the center of the shot transducers to the top to the top ... so now they shoot upwards instead of directly to you. And this new speaker configuration provides the support of 600 atoms of true dolby.

And from the performance point of view, the 600 sounds a little more open than 300. But so that you can listen to itself, we will jump to a sound test. Both 300 and 600 are playing with their shares and both are playing with a volume of 75%. First, obviously anything will sound better than the built -in TV speakers. It is very likely that your TV has a pair of downward shooting speakers that bounce on the table, they will not be as strong as a sound bar and distorted a lot to higher volumes and especially when the bass really starts. Now the performance difference between 300 and 600 is very nuanced.

Both sound bars become equally noisy as each other. Personally, I think that both sound bars will not have problems filling their room with sound and that they will not have problems filling a small or medium -sized room. Both sound bars also took a decent amount of bass for themselves. Now obviously they will not publish both low and an external subwoofer, but you can still feel what is happening on the screen. And again, the 600 has both low and 300. But the main performance difference between 300 and 600 is simply the separation of the instrument. The 600 sounds a little more open than the 300.

Therefore, with 600, things do not sound as together as and thanks to the new trigger transducers up ... you get a sensation of verticality with 600. And even if you are not specifically seeing specifically the content of Dolby Atmos ... you will still enjoy a better separation of instruments in the 600 600 is not a lot of the 300. I feel that if you already have 300, you can stay with it. However, if you are looking for a sound bar, I think it cannot be wrong with 600. Now in this sound test, these sound bars were using their equations of shares. But I likely like to enter and lift the central channel so that the dialogue is a bit more prominent, I like to raise the bass to have more kick during those action scenes, and with the 600 I like to lift the most acute channel so that we can obtain more verticality from this sound bar.

headphones or headphones, you can easily combine them with this sound bar, so if you want to watch a movie late at night, you can fully enjoy it without disturbing anyone else in the house. However, Sync simply is not just for Bose headphones ... You can combine any pair of Bluetooth headphones with this sound bar. And this is a great feature to have alone in case your TV does not admit the Bluetooth connectivity or if your TV's Bluetooth connection has too much latency.

But with all that said, as before, the Smart 600 sound bar of Bose is a very solid sound bar with which I feel that you cannot be wrong if you are looking for an easy way to fill your room or living room of being small or medium with sound. The 600 becomes loud and has a decent amount of bass alone in a discreet package. And thanks to the configuration of 600 new speakers, the 600 has a better instrument separation and has a real support of Dolby atoms.   However,

compared

to its predecessor, the 600 becomes so loud and has both low and 300 ... and although I enjoy the separation of improved instruments of the 600 ...

I do not think it guarantees an update. But if you are looking for a sound bar ... I think 600 is a great option.
