It's my honor to stand before you as this year's Valid Dictionary, but being named the top performer in school is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. Don't get me wrong. I'll be slapping Val Victorian every I'm just making a resume for the rest of my life, but I lost my spot, but there are so many talented graduates from this year's class who could be giving this speech right now. I'm lucky to have become friends with Jonathan Web, one of the nicest and kindest musical students you'll ever meet.
You may know him by his stage name Ed Sheeran. I also met James Schwarner, who is currently in basic training and will be attending the United States Air Force Academy this fall. There's Amy Beler, a little bird. she told me that one day she will win the Nobel Peace Prize, we also have Jared enone Wimer, who surprises me, came to the county center today instead of Club Fit and finally we have shayin jenti Shay, I'm not doing any. jokes about you, please don't hurt me. I had help from some classmates who asked to be recognized, but I didn't actually learn their real names in the last four years, so shout out to tall girl Jenga Sanders Diddy EGS.
BD bit Barn Bots and the Goat I also asked people if they would be willing to donate money to AI ramawami needs money for college fund to be mentioned in my speech, but unfortunately I only had two takers, my mom and my sister, who actually took all the money and ran his own campaign. Joking aside, we really learned a lot during these four years and I have truly created so many memories that I will never forget in high school, so I think the best use of this speech would be to recap the amazing four years we have had in freshman year was a blur. , but I would be remiss if I didn't mention our legendary 10th grade student government run cleverly titled Jamar, James Allen Aaron Shang Mike Lewis Ricky D's dream team on Sha Max. and I led an inspiring campaign that included really amazing field trips and promising ping pong tables for the ping pong club and chess tables for the chess club and then we discovered that our only duty was to raise money for the prom, as you may have Guessed, we lost. but in retrospect, thank you all for not choosing us because the current committee led by our student speaker Matt Pad has done an incredible job.
Next year was year two, but no one cares about that, so we move on to year three, the year we all want. Banging our heads against the wall we call standardized testing and finally that brings us to last year when Lakeland Nation came together as a class at our football games, we cheered so loud we broke the stands twice and if we can do that we literally can Do anything. We rejoice together over good news like Catniss every time we win The Hunger Games, we even cry together over tragedies like when Zay left One Direction. I was so excited about it, we really became a Lakeland family this year regardless of our level and I hope this is a bond we can continue for years to come.
I'm expected to make some comment about how well everyone will do in the future, but to be honest, I'm terrified of the future. I can't read in moving vehicles. I put it off too much. on Netflix and I put the word wow in wow, that guy doesn't know what he's doing up there, but I'll do my best to keep the next inspirational part short and sweet because this is where everyone tends to get distracted first. I hope that you all use what you have been given here abroad, the public school education to communicate with the humanity, the compassion and the collective intelligence of the world, as Alex Urban said, wherever you go, walk with a purpose as If there was a place where you should walk with importance as if you were someone.
People should already know this and walk with pride because those are the people others will follow. The most important thing is to give your best in every effort, do things well, but don't do them too well or it can backfire and you will be forced to give a speech in front of more than a thousand people. The second thing I have to say is that after today, after you graduate, it will not be easier, as Julian Huget once said, you are going to have failures, but in the same way you are going to have successes just remember that everything is temporary nothing terrible It lasts forever so hang in there and nothing worthwhile is permanent so hold on when times are tough look at your loved ones who are in this room today supporting you because they are the ones who will get you through it and when times are good look to those same people because they are the ones who make life worth living.
I would like to thank some of those people. Now please give a round of applause after each of the following. Thank you to the teachers and staff, from the teachers, counselors, and principals to the lunch ladies and custodians for helping us graduate today. They really want to see us succeed. Either that or they really want to get rid of us. Thank you to my classmates for what you thought you did that was so special. You are all lovely, wonderful people and I really couldn't have done it without you. Thanks to Google Spark Notes. Yahoo Answers and Wikipedia, thank you so much for helping me get on stage today.
Thanks to my scientific research mentor, Dr. Blitzer, who unfortunately is not here with us today, don't get me wrong, he is alive and well, he just works in New York. City, thank you to my grandparents who came all the way from India to see

graduation

today and who still hit me to this day. Thank you to all the family friends who are here to support me. Thanks to my sister who is coming to Lakeland High School next year, if there are any freshmen in the crowd, don't mess with her because I have a black belt in Taekwondo last and definitely a big thanks to my mom who really I can't thank her enough for everything she did for me?
I have one last piece of advice: always finish what you have started. With that said, miss, can you help me finish my speech? The only known cure for senioritis is postgraduate graduation, congratulations Class of 2015, we did it, thank you.
