I only use 120 and 140 grit stones to reprofile, thin and flatten, that's it, don't do anything else with it, so obviously fix the chips, unless you have one of those problems. Don't jump over any of these stones here, so now we'll move on to the next grit, which is 300 grit or so, so we'll start with the sharp and capable 400. It is a fine 400 grit stone, it is definitely true to the grain. It wears down very quickly and it is a soak stone so for 20 dollars it is a fine stone or for less than 20 dollars it is a great stone for that but keep in mind that it is a stone that wears down very quickly you definitely use a knife stone that he exchanged for more than 50.

It will be a little slow and the feedback will definitely improve as you go up the Rockwell scale, it will stay pretty flat if you have a knife that's not too hard and the Ives are too hard, you know, wooded it up to a 62. and a taller one will definitely start to serve and call this stone here, the Chapman tumbler is definitely one of my favorites in this category, the comments here are amazing, the hand feel is really nice.

I really don't have anything bad to say about this stone here. The only negative thing I have to say about a chaton glass stone, especially the 320 grit stone, is that it only gives you five millimeters of stone, so it's not a stone you want to wear or flatten too often. This is your hero 320 CX. fantastic stone now they also make a thinner 320 grit stone but they sent me the brick. I really like it, it's a soaking zone, very positive feeling, the tactile response is incredible, it feels very good in the hands, you know, this kind of stone here is not a corrective stone.

I think it's a decent stone. I think when they cast Sarah, you know, being in the third family, there are a lot of high expectations for the stone, especially for me. one of my two favorite stones are the real Sarah stones, which we'll get to later in the video, they form ters agate stones. I think it's okay. I think it's a little expensive for what they offer. I think if you want. you know, a 320 grit 320 - 400 stone, 320 sea rocks are a much better value and probably even better performance, just as good a performance as the real Sarah.

I feel like there's a trend and I'm going against the grain for some reason, I know it's weird to say, but as a stone I think it's a fine cut stone, definitely very, so I'll give it that, but it's not a feeling of hand, it just doesn't feel like a great hand feel. stone I don't get a lot of pleasure sharpening the stone, that's what I look for when I buy stones, the feel of the hand or you know how good the knife feels on the stone and the feedback, those two things are very important to My speed will be the third thing I look for because speed usually means you have one or two nicer passes, so speed is something I worry about too much, this is not definitive, it excels in speed, but it lacks.

The hand feel and feedback is decent but again the hand feel is definitely not very good at 400 interest rate. The next one we have here is the super stone 400 for 91, now the stone 400. I'm going I'm going to offend a lot of people here, but I really feel like the 90s were the Naniwa brand. You should kill your super stones with grains less than a thousand. It just doesn't make any sense. All grains that are below a thousand are really slow, so this one is extremely slow even for a foreign tribute stone. you're looking twice, I would say closer, double the number of passes needed to get a burr compared to any of these other stones here, so it's a stone that feels very good, feels very nice, it feels very luxurious, it has a very soft touch and it feels flexible while you sharpen it, it charges very fast and that's the other thing about the super stones that I don't like, they charge extremely fast, most of these stones here a as they are loaded and as you sharpen the The law actually makes the stone surface drops never a big problem, but with super stones and yet the particles and abrasives are not released at the same rate as would be expected on a thick stone so the loading of This happens and when you have a lot of loading your sharpening speed definitely slows down so the 400 cream has a really nice tone to it, it's made by Joe Sarah or by Naniwa at the third alignment, so you don't know I haven't sharpened.

You can't beat the speed, the performance, the feedback is just a rock with really good performance. I will offer very different things, so let's start with a pile of stones here. it's the westland e1000 color, it's true to the grain, it's a really nice feeling stone, the wear is not too slow, it's a soak stone, again it's about 20 bucks so for a person starting to sharpen it's a great sum for that feeling in the hand. It doesn't really feel very good, but it definitely gives you decent feedback because it's a very snappy feel and a very crunchy feel and again, a good 1000 stones and it's actually slower than you might think for a budget stone, so Overall, it is decent to choose these crackers on glass 1000.

Well, I did an episode of Shop and Glass 1000 with my sister Sarah 1000. I really liked it. I think it's a great stone. It has a really nice answer. It has a really good tactile feel. I think the only thing it lacks in general is speed. it's about 10% slower than your sera, but other than that it's actually a really good performance tone, it offers really everything you want in a stone, it doesn't load as much, it does load a little, but it loads and it is searched. It doesn't seem to slow down the stone at all, so the overall tactile response is amazing, the in-hand feel is really good and the speed is good.

I wouldn't call it excellent but it's definitely good or above average in terms of overall cutting speed so overall a very good stone, the rear 1000 is a very good performing stone overall, however if you had to choosing between the third 1000 and 800, I would definitely choose the 800. 800 has everything that beats the speed of 1000, it is definitely a faster cutting stone, it definitely feels better. It doesn't feel as soft to me as the 1000 1000 has a bit more of a plush feel to it and that's why it feels good. I won't take it away, but the 800 for me has all the qualities that I would have.

I want a sharpening stone, so overall you won't be disappointed with the stone. I don't think anyone who buys something will be disappointed with it, but I, you know, have the ability to sharpen stones. From my side. From my side. So when I bought Kramer, the Kramer 3000 glass stone I expected to work better than Sorcerer 3000, but it doesn't and that's my problem because I have so many stones here. I'm always comparing things, but let me tell you, if you bought the Kramer 3000 on its own, it's a great stone, you'll love it, it's fast cutting, it has pretty good feedback and pretty good hand feel. a really flat stone, so you don't have to worry about flattening the stone almost ever unless you do it again, you know, Gabor sharpening doing your naga sharpening. The sand ratings that are real are very close to what they perform, what are their stated ratings and the lowest rating is another question, but they feel really good, it's between 2000 3000 4000, it's really up to you, I would say 4000 It's a really strange category, it doesn't really give you the speed of a 2000 or 3000 grit stone and it doesn't give you the brilliance of a 5,000 or 6,000 green stone, although it is a very good stone, however, again, If you're looking for a 3 to 4000 grit stone, you're literally in the middle of what you would consider a polishing stone and a sharpening stone, you know, so it's these two, these two big rings here are kind of weird grades. . but they are still decent in terms of what they offer, the 3000.

I really like the 3000, it really comes close to the overall performance as they went with the Sarah 3000, it has very good response, it has a little bit softer feel than a real Sarah and speed. It is definitely about 10, maybe 20% slower than Mr. Sarah, during sharpening I found that, especially knives in the 62 to 66 category, I had to make an extra pass to get the same bird development as real Sarah, that's not really a problem, although I mean, again, the pass is 30 seconds to maybe a minute and 30 seconds. no more than no more than 30 seconds so overall these two stones I really enjoy the 4000 again it has a very good overall performance I mean there is nothing wrong with the overall performance of the 4000 it just sits too close to a category of 5000 or 6000 and too close to a 1000 3000 or close to 2000 3000, so it really is the oddball in this lineup here.

I don't really see a real use for the 4000 unless you're planning on coming to us an 8000, you know, and this is kind of the intermediate stepping stone, so if you want to go to one thousand four thousand eight thousand or one thousand four thousand. ten thousand that makes a lot of sense because then the 4000 grit stone costs a little less than the five thousand and six thousand stones because they don't have the same polishing agents but they allow you to go up to ten thousand. or grade eight thousand, so to me, if you're looking to get a complete set of cutting stones and you want to get a really good polishing stone, then the 4000 stone will make sense, but as an N stone, as a stone, you stop with you.

I know I'd say that still doesn't mean it doesn't make a lot of sense. The super stone 3000 is a really good polishing stone, so let's talk about feedback. Feedback is almost lacking. Missing in the stone. You definitely don't feel the feedback. at all it is a very soft feeling it is not a soft stone per se but it is a very soft feeling it is a very luxurious feeling it is what I can a little hard I put the polish at 3000 it is phenomenal this polishes more like a six thousand stone grain. I mean it's almost a simple polish and which is really rare for 3000 grit stone.

I don't think any other creature stone really offers polish the way the super centers do if you want a low cost stone immediate, a relatively low cost stone. that gives you a really high polish, so the 3000 makes sense, like for example let's say you want to buy eight thousand rich stones because you want a mirror polish, well actually it's better to buy a 50 $50 $6 super stone because the polish and this This is phenomenal, it will give you a polish of what you would find on a 6000 or 8000 grit stone, so that's what I don't like about these super stones is that they have great ratings unless you've actually used them.

I think anyone who buys Stumbo will be very happy with it. It cuts very well, stays very flat, provides excellent feedback and also a great hand feel. That's why I really like the stone, the feel of the hand on the stone is different from what you would see on Shopton 1000, so this is a suitable sharpening stone for me, again, it's a 2000, it's like was in that low polish, high sharp category and to me the 2000 on this same stone actually makes a lot of sense so I really like the shopton Pro mm, great stone.

This one is so thin that it's really going to suffer in the long run when you're flattening a lot and that's really the only drawback I see.
