Today I'll do a side by side comparison, take a look at the features of each pair of headphones and give them a

quick and, if you're interested in buying one of the next-generation Beats headphones, hopefully in the end. After the video, you will have a better idea about which of these headphones will be the best option for you, so without further ado, let's get started now, as you may have guessed that each of these Beats headphones is packaged almost identically, so I think it makes sense. to unpack both side by side simultaneously, so we have here the 249lb solo 3 on the left and the 299lb studio 3 on the right and the first thing we'll need to do is remove the plastic film from each of the boxes and from the front of the box you can already see how the headphones differ between the two models with the larger headphones presented in the study.

Three on one side we have images of the headphones while the other features a quote from Beats founder Dr. Dre and also shows us at the bottom here the color option, which in this case is matte black for both models , that's the riff, we have a rundown of the main features of the headphones that are largely identical, both the solo and the studio three feature Apple's w1 chip which offers improvements. microphone, built-in music and phone controls, and boasts a massive 40-hour battery life for wireless playback. They also have fast fuel, a quick charge function that allows three hours of playback after five minutes of charging with just three. and after 10 minutes of charging with these Studio 3, these Studio 3 also have an additional function in pure ANC or active noise cancellation.

More Interesting Facts About,

This feature can be activated or deactivated at will, but when activated, the wireless playback time is reduced from 40 hours to 22 and at the bottom of the box here we can see the included remote talk cable which features a microphone in line and music controls and finally we have the micro USB cable to charge these headphones, so even though Apple takes over the manufacturing of Beats, we still don't have a Lightning connector to charge the headphones, a decision that was probably made to not to alienate non-iPhone users, so now we can go ahead and take the box out of the case and, as always, the contents are very well packaged with that simple and clean aesthetic that is typical. of Beats and other Apple products and when we open them we find a cardboard cover with the Beats slogan, but we can remove it with this handy tab at the bottom to reveal the included carrying cases for the headphones that, as with the previous generation, they are quite different between models, so with these only three on the left we have a redesigned soft carrying case and on the right, the Studio Three Beats have a new hard carrying case, but I will leave them aside for now for a quick look. the remaining accessories are in fact identical for both models, so at the bottom we have the remote salt cable with volume control and the in-line microphone, the center button is used to play, pause or skip your tracks, answer our phone calls to hang up and also to activate Siri on iOS devices now, this envelope with the Beats logo will contain all the information on paper and we will see them in just a second.

Additionally, we have a carabiner that can be attached to the carrying case so you can clip on. your headphones to something like a backpack during travel and finally we have the micro USB charging cable which on the packaging of the Studio 3 advertises the fast food function but, interestingly, not with this Solo 3 even though this function Of course, it supports both. models, so looking at the paper information included, first we have the quick start guides which are actually very helpful and I definitely recommend looking at them before using any of these headphones. These are largely identical between the models, with the main difference being that the Solo 3 guide features instructions for iOS 10, while the Studio 3 instructions are for iOS 11, just pick the respective release dates for these headphones, too we have a big beet red label and finally the safety and warranty information and now we can take a first look at their The headphones start with these Solo 3 Wireless so as I mentioned we have a redesigned carrying case.

We still have a softshell carrying case, but this time we have a much more water resistant fabric compared to this softer fabric from the sole to the inside. The material has also changed, there's a little less cushioning now, but for a softshell carrying case I still think the new fabric will offer enough protection, so I'd say these changes overall are an improvement over the previous generation , so now we can open this up and take a look at the matte black finish of the solo three, a new color option for the solo range and it looks fantastic in my opinion.
However, the design of all the button shapes and the folding mechanism has not changed from the solo 2, so on the left earcup we have the integrated music and phone volume control and also the glowing wireless text on The extension board to change the size of the headphones. The dark gray Beats logo is printed on the headband, which again features soft leather padding under the right side and features a gloss, so there are no words printed on the right side. The handset houses the power button from below. You can also see some shiny plastic trim and also the ports with the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and also the micro USB charging ports.
Both earcups feature soft black leather padding that works excellently for comfort as well. To create a great seal against your ear to minimize sound leakage inside the headband, we also have the left and right side indicators, but since the headphones feature symmetrical ear cups, it's really up to you which direction you want to wear them. Which side do you prefer your music controls if you need to change the size of the earbuds and just gently pull down on the earbuds while holding the headband to extend them and then you can slide them back into place and both earbuds in to store or snap. these inside the carrying case one thing I should mention is that it is a little tricky to fit these headphones inside the case, the fit is very comfortable while we had a lot more space inside the carrying case with these individual tubes so now we can pass to the Beats Studio 3 Wireless for which we have the redesigned hard case.
This case will offer more protection because we now have impact resistance as well as water and dust resistance, so you don't have to worry about these headphones getting crushed. When you put them in your bag, therefore, it's a little more awkward to look at them with you, but I have to say that I definitely like the security of knowing that my headphones are fully protected, especially when I pay a premium price for them. Opening up the case we have inside the folded Studio Three, design-wise you'll see a lot of similarities to the Solo Three, including the matte black finish, you'll notice the headrest is a little wider again and features the gray Beats logo and These headphones are generally slightly wider. bigger and heavier so on the left earcup here you can see we have the clickable buttons to control the volume of music, phone calls and Siri and at the bottom we have the 3 headphone jack .5 millimeters, so connect and use the remote talk cable now, something really important.
What I want to point out at this point is that only these Solo 3 headphones can be used with this cable while the headphones are off, a useful feature if your

beats

run out of battery and you want to continue using them with the Studio 3. However, you can't use these headphones while turned off, even with the cable plugged in; In fact, plugging in the cable will activate the headphones if they're turned off, so definitely be aware of that before purchasing them if this is something you're going to do. To want to do it personally, I don't think this situation will ever affect me because the Beats offer great battery life now and I rarely use white headphones and now looking at the right jack again, we have the power button. and below is the micro USB connector to charge the headphones.
The Studio Three headphones are significantly larger than the Solo Three to accommodate the fact that the Solo Three have an over-ear design rather than an over-the-ear design, but feature the same soft leather padding. You may have also noticed that here we don't have the same glossy border around the earcups, instead we have a completely matte finish and with the Studio Three, it does matter which direction you use these headphones because the ergonomic design of the headphones has them. Slanted slightly off center so they fit more comfortably to the shape of your ear, it is possible to wear them upside down, but to optimize comfort it is recommended to wear them as they were designed, by doing so these studio three create an excellent seal around your head to minimize sound leakage and optimize sound output to your ears and with the new active noise cancellation feature activated, you will hardly hear any external sound by simply double-pressing the power button while the headphones are on.
On you can turn pure ANC on and off, the

beats

take a couple of seconds to analyze the environment and then adapt the noise cancellation function to optimize the listening experience. This feature is also easily turned on and off using your iPhone. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about A and C before trying it, but I was surprised at how well the noise cancellation feature worked with ANC on, my beats were able to block out virtually all the sound around me while still accentuating the sound. wonderfully rich and bacey. sound but is traditional from a pair of Beats headphones, the Studio 3 continually adapts to changes in external noise, providing effective and consistent noise cancellation, and since a lot of ambient noise has already been reduced due to the seal formed by the cups. around your head, these headphones provide a fully immersive experience.
In fact, I found that in quiet environments it was not necessary to use ANC and therefore I was able to use the so-called low power mode by disabling it, but for moderate to noisy environments and with ANC. i turned on the studio freeze really came into its element and exceeded my expectations noting a feature shared by both the e solo and the studio three, the quick charge feature certainly lived up to the performance claims after charging me solo 3 for 5 minutes, I was able to achieve just over 3 hours of wireless playback at 50% volume and with the Studio 3 10 minutes of charging again gave just over 3 hours of wireless playback at 50% volume and with active noise cancellation on the bass charging is a great feature and to offer such a long battery life after such a short charging time was definitely very impressive and the final feature i wanted to check out is the USP of these headphones, that w1 chip, so for To pair any of these headphones you simply have to hold press the power button for 2 seconds and the LED indicators will start flashing and with your iOS device or Mac nearby you can see how it only takes a few seconds to locate your device and then a simple tap to pair the headphones and by doing so actually pair the headphones on all your devices associated with that Apple ID instead of having to pair the headphones every time, no longer needing to go into settings to turn on the device and switch between devices now It's a wonderfully simple and quick process.
A simple tap or click will automatically disconnect from one device and pair with another. This works extremely fast and the overall pairing and connection process enabled by the w1 chip is easily the best feature of the headphones. Additionally, the chip also grants improved Bluetooth connectivity and range I. What I was able to achieve using these headphones was truly impressive. I was able to leave my phone upstairs in a locked bedroom. I walked through my entire house through several rooms, even outdoors more than 20 meters away, and did not experience any abandonment. Non-Apple users, of course, won't be able to.
To take advantage of the instant pairing or instant connect feature but can still connect to your Beats headphones, press and holdPressing the power button for five seconds will allow you to enter traditional pairing mode and then you can select the device from the settings menu. So the internal updates are certainly quite substantial and perhaps even justify the external upgrade from the previous wireless-only or studio generations, although we don't really see any differences from the previous generations apart from the new color options available on regarding the design. I really don't think any changes were necessary and both these Studio and Solo Three Wireless headphones are beautiful, stylish pairs of headphones.
Overall, both headphones are made to a very high quality, have a very attractive design and offer a rich and immersive sound experience, characteristic of Beats. They excel in the low end, offering deep, booming bass, well-balanced gloves, and a high-end sound profile. If you are an iPhone user, I would definitely say that these are the best wireless headphones you can buy solely for the fantastic extra. features that are enabled by the w1 chip and that is probably the only reason to justify the high price, non-iPhone users will not benefit from this. I might suggest looking elsewhere because there are cheaper alternatives, like those from Bose and Sony, that will do it.
They offer similar sound quality and battery life When deciding between the zero three and the studio three, there are three main points to consider: Number one, do I want an on-air or over-ear experience? This of course depends on personal preference, but for me I prefer the extra comfort that the over-ear option offers, fatigue will inevitably occur with any pair of headphones, but I found that the discomfort started to set in a little earlier with the solo ones. Three, a common drawback of over-ear headphones. Because they press against the cartilage of your ear, conversely, some may argue that your ears may overheat when using the OVA earbuds.
Mya started to listen warmer after a long period of listening, but not to the point of being uncomfortable and I didn't find this to be a big problem with the Studio 3s and found that when pressing against my ears the solo three number two I want to cancel the noise while I listen to my accounts. The Studio Three is all about active noise cancellation which works surprisingly well and definitely improved my listening experience, but no. That really justifies a £50 price increase over the Solo 3 and this is point number three. The price again depends on the personal choice of whether or not you want to pay the additional cost to buy the Studio Three over-the-air and with noise cancellation for high-end.
Headphones like these Beats you may think is a fair price increase in the current market and overall the Beats Studio 3 would be my choice of headphones between these two options.
