Baby Snapping Turtle vs Crayfish

s would make good pets. I actually saw this video about a pet snapping turtle. And I thought it would be great. I'm not sure if I'll keep this little one. I have a big enough fish tank for his home, but to start, I'll try to feed him. and I'm pretty sure I know exactly what he'll be hungry for. Let's go fish this little guy. Some crabs. I have prepared this small temporary tank filled with water.

I have a water heater here to make sure it's hot. While we go crabbing, that's where I'll put this little guy. By the way, we haven't named him yet, so if you want to put some suggestions in the comments about what we should call him, he's sticking his head out and blowing a little. bubbles, okay, I'm going to try to do this quickly because it's raining outside, I don't want to ruin the camera or anything, but we're going to try to catch these crabs with this little net that I set up on the tip. From this stick I have a container here with water that has been treated to remove all the chlorine and harmful chemicals, so let's go by the way for all the OG subscribers, those who watched the video where I caught an adult snapping turtle and thought it was a rabbit, well I've since found out it's not, it's actually a snapping turtle.

I'm a little curious if the snapping turtle will try to eat a bigger crayfish, so let's try to catch one, aha, here's a little bigger one, check this out, yeah, here we go, now we're talking, Let's see if we can catch one more, let's do it, yeah here's one, oh and check it out, we caught another alien looking dragonfly larva, we'll do a couple more scoops and then we'll call it a day, I really want to catch a big one to show. Guys, this isn't too big, but wow, it's a fin honestly, although the chances of catching a really big one aren't very high because they usually come out at night, we'll probably catch another small one and that's it.

I hope I haven't ruined the camera for this, I'd say it's a pretty good catch so I'm pretty sure it won't try to eat the big crayfish, but I just want to see it because honestly snapping turtles are pretty tough etc.

Here it comes it's on the move again oh you missed it guys these little crayfish are super fast you won't understand it you won't understand it I don't know if you saw it just sucked up the whole crayfish into what the heck demolished it . I had never seen anything like it. I've read books about snapping turtles that have almost a suction vacuum in their mouth where they suck up water and suck up all the creatures. I didn't know babies could do this. That's what adults do. Maybe I'll try to do it. I'll have another one, but I'm going to log off now, thanks everyone for watching, stay updated.
