Many people will say that it seems like we let a gorilla into the house. If they hear something, they just sit there and watch and look together, even though it's big, it's such a gentle giant that they're always looking out those windows. It's really sweet. We got Drax when he was about eight weeks old. We found out she was pregnant and my belly grew. He was always there, sitting on my lap, lying on my stomach. He was always very gentle with me. He may look big and intimidating, but he has a complex where he thinks he's just a lapdog. Our son has a ball pit for his birthday every time he is in that pool. Drax is there too. I think Drax was a bigger fan of stamps and Mrs. Claus than our own son. This has changed my perspective on how beautiful dogs can be, breaking those stereotypes. I just think there are so many beautiful aspects a child can have with a dog. It's so much fun to watch them grow together.
