I've been calling them since I was a kid and I've really refined a way that makes it feel easy and natural and that's based on one of my favorite practices which is Yoga Nidra and that's what I'm going to share with you today if you have I've been trying to do a project. astral for a while and you are having difficulties. Know that this is a skill and it is a skill that anyone can learn with a little patience and a lot of practice, so preparation step number one is the one you really want to prepare for. for success by preparing yourself and your environment so let's start by preparing yourself and that includes your mindset and your intention so your mindset is absolutely key and it's best to be open to the possibility that anything can happen and at the same time have no expectations and also relax about it, so if you get too obsessed and are trying to force something to happen, you are starting to create tension within yourself, the more relaxed you are, paradoxically, the easier it will be for happen, but having said that, it helps to have an intention so what you want to do once you're out of body you know where you want to go what you want to see it's really important to have something in mind, a goal and write it down so I really encourage you. to have a separate book.

This is my out-of-body diary. All my dreams. All my out-of-body experiences are in this diary. There are many journals that have a dedicated Journal where you write all this. Make a list of goals, it could be meeting someone specific you want to meet, maybe finding a higher aspect of yourself, what I call my higher self, it could be having the experience of flying through the air or swimming with dolphins, both things I've done. and out of body, and I highly recommend both, so write everything down in your Journal, so this is very briefly about preparing your mindset and your intention, so let's move on to preparing your environment and I'll try to go over this.

Quickly, too, it makes a big difference if you have a separate out-of-body scanning area other than your bed and the reason is that we associate our beds primarily with where we sleep, so have a separate area, whether it's your couch or if you have an extra one. room with an extra bed that's great just something separate other than your bed if this is your only option if you only have your bed then try putting your head where you would normally put your feet. I have practiced this way successfully in my life as well. Another reason for this is that many prominent out-of-body scanning authors, such as William Buellman and Bob Peterson, have said that they find it difficult to project the astral walls since they are in their bed with their spouses. by his side, so again, if you have your partner separated. then your spouse is not going to be with you, your partner, so that will make it a little easier now, that doesn't mean it's impossible in your own bed with your partner by your side.
I have projected it many times that way. but this is just an attempt to set you up for success, especially in the beginning, so I personally practice in my bed when I go to sleep with my husband by my side. I also practice on the couch after sleeping for four to six hours, something called weighting. return to bed method which I will talk about in a future video or if I have an afternoon nap then ideally you want to be really comfortable in a quiet room with no distractions and I personally like to practice with an eye mask and also do Make sure you have your Journal next to you because you'll want to write in it when you get back and also make sure you've used the bathroom.
The worst thing is when you can finally carry out the astral project and your body tells you so. You need a Wii so you have to come back and go out for a week so make sure you use the bathroom properly, that's briefly the preparation, let's move on to step number two and that is a state of awake mind and sleep body, essentially you want let your body be deeply. relax while at the same time keeping your mind awake and alert so that your body is relaxed and asleep your mind is awake now there are many different methods to achieve the states but the practice that I use and have always used with great success is Yoga Nidra, so You simply lie down preferably on your back, you close your eyes and you have to remain completely still and you are going to tackle a very systematic practice that helps you descend to deeper and deeper layers of yourself, for me it is one of the most powerful practices not only for obese people but also to help you regulate your nervous system to deal with stress, sleep better and much more, and that's what I love about this method is that even if you don't ask or project, you're still winning. all the benefits of a ninja yoga practice now ninja yoga will take you to this kind of magical in-between state, this twilight state, your brain gets heavy and slows down, your breathing slows down, the hardest part of this whole mind, body awake, dream, stay is in reality.
As you stay awake, you will find yourself drifting in and out of sleep. I have created quite a few guided astral projection meditations using Yoga Nidra and I will link to them in the description below. You will find their different exit techniques. Let's move on to step number three and that is the vibrational state, so once you are in this beautiful intermediate dream state and then you can maintain it, you may start to feel tingles or energy rejections or sometimes you may hear very loud . sounds or roars and it is different for everyone what they will experience in the vibrational state and it is important to note that not everyone has the state but many people do but not everyone will be just a little warning that this can be really scary and quite intense, so when it first happened to me I was 13 and I really thought I was being possessed because I had just seen the movie The Exorcist and for years and years and years I was afraid to sleep, I really avoided it.
I slept because every time I went to bed my whole body shook violently, it was really a violent thing for me that happened and it was really quite traumatic because I felt paralyzed and I couldn't get out of it, I didn't know what was happening. until I read a book by Robert Monroe, his first book, Out of Body Journeys, when I was 19 and it literally changed my life because I finally knew what was happening to me, so Robert Monroe created the Monroe Institute in Virginia and I loved it. I recommend it if you are really interested in out of body experiences that you try it.
I did their Gateway program there years ago and it was amazing, so I can't recommend it enough. Robert Monroe created hemisync, which is essentially binaural beats. He has done so much that he is truly a pioneer in the area of ​​out-of-body exploration. He died in 1995 and he is one of my heroes and really one of my main goals of out-of-body exploration is to meet Robert Monroe on the astral planes and me. I will someday, but I want to get back to you, so if this happens to you and you feel the vibrational state, just surrender to them, you know what it is, it's really scary, especially when you don't know what it is, but you know that this.
It may happen to you, so you can expect it to be welcomed. These sensations relax into them and then they start making them rise and fall faster and faster from your feet to the crown of your head, up and down your body and you are trying to make them reach their peak once you feel that this is your peak, that is your window of opportunity to practice an exit technique. It's important not to do this for too long because if you focus on the sensations that make them rise and fall, they may begin to fade. and then you miss that window of opportunity, now just a little advice if it becomes too much and it's too intense and you want to get out of it but you feel like you can't because your body is paralyzed, then change your breathing as soon as you change your breathing, it will bring you back.
By that I mean speed up your breathing or just slow it down, this breathing pattern is fine for you to be in mind, body, sleep. State in which you are accelerating these vibrations up and down. They reached their Summit, which takes us to step number four, which is the exits. Now there are so many different techniques to separate your energy body, your astral body from the physical body, it will be different for everyone and it will feel different for everyone and it might also be different for you from experience to experience so sometimes you can feel very heavy , you can feel like you can sink out of your body, sometimes you are very light, you can float or sometimes you can just sit and sometimes you can feel like you are instantly in a place as soon as you think about it, so I will do another video at a future date sharing different techniques, but for the purposes of this intro video, we're going to keep it really simple, so you can try sitting or floating and I think that's the easiest, especially at the beginning, or follow one of the techniques output that I have in one of my videos, but it is very important to remember that it is your energy body. or your astral body that is actually moving, your physical body must be completely still so that the physical body does not move, so another quick tip here and it is something that I learned from William Buellman and something that has helped me tremendously over and over. again and it's order. what you want, so if you go out, for example, and you can't see clearly, which often happens at the beginning, now you demand clarity, whatever it is you need, just command it with a very strong intention behind it and you should also know That strong emotions like feeling scared or really excited can bring you back to your body in the blink of an eye, so try to keep your emotions under control.
I know it's hard, but try it, so I've created several videos that take you through all these different steps using Yoga Nidra, if you go through the state of awake mind, body and sleep, we go through the vibrational state, we try to induce it to make it a little stronger and then a different exit technique. You can find all of those videos in the description below, but these videos let you. stay in the experience that you are having so that my voice does not bring you back, so if you are just relaxing deeply consciously, stay and if you are asleep, stay there, sleep well, but if you are out of body, then have a great journey, finally step number five, which is the return, so just thinking about your physical body will bring you back, so when I return, I personally like to keep my eyes closed and integrate the experience, so I just do a mental review where I went from who I saw, what was said and also what I learned, if there is something I want to do differently next time or something like that, first I do a mental check and then I sit down, have a drink of water and, very important, then I just Write it in my journal and I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to have a separate journal because it is not only to remember your experience but it sends a very strong signal to your subconscious mind that this is something important to you and there is something that you want to invite more into your life.
Now there's a lot more I'd really love to share about astral projection, but I want to keep this video relatively short. It's a small introduction, but you should know that you can never get lost. When you are out of body, as soon as you think about your physical body, you snap back in, so if you ever find yourself in a situation where you feel a little scared or anxious, just think about your body and you will come back. Right now, if you are struggling to stay awake in this mind, body, dream, awake state, I highly recommend that you start practicing more Yoga Nidra in your waking state, without the intention of having an out of body experience, just practice .
