When we are parked in an RV, we put all the seat belts away and hide them. Under the cushions the driver has a seat belt and also the 10 passengers have seat belts, five on each side where we eat and set up a table, a nice long table in the middle we also have visitors. I can sleep two people in each one. on each side the sofa converts into a bed by pulling on the slat in the bottom section once you pull it out and release the back cushion it converts into a bed if you had small children you could probably fit up to four we don't do that we leave it in livingroom. space like the sofas and here is our bookshelf, sit here with our coffee, tea or whatever your favorite drink is, very bright talk here, I was raised by deaf parents and if you know there is always light, they need brightness, these are the lights off. sides, you can imagine that it is very bright at night, people look wondering what is happening with the brightness, the wood, the luminosity in a restaurant that is dark, you know, deaf people never do that because it is very difficult to communicate in the darkness and that is growing.

asl bus conversion tour family of 10...

I was very used to what I hear, but I'm still used to it, so if I see a dimly lit restaurant, I usually don't want to go there because of the sweaters, the hats during the winter and cold weather and in the summer. when you need lighter equipment that can also go there musical instruments guitar violin we have eight children and they have different musical interests my father helped me build the cabinets when I was a child, dad worked making sailboats and made cabinets so he was able to help me build this is a piano in the kitchen, so here we have the bowls, the plates, the cups and all the other things that we have, forks, different tools, knives, here we have the cookbooks, vitamins, teas, spices, salt, pepper, This is a must in the southern US, okay, we have. a very elegant five burner stove on the bus we have 10 people so we cook a lot and most of the time on the bus we cook, we eat, we enjoy talking, music, everything, so we don't have an oven but we have the hob . toaster oven we can bake small things maybe a small chicken you know small things if we need something bigger we have a dutch oven we have the pots and pans we also have a crock pot and the oils are also stored there my wife needs a sewing machine so sewing machine sew fabrics we have a serger she is crazy here we have seeds nuts and that is our tupperware drawer the vitamix we always have to have it for the sink we have a double there are always a lot of dishes you know sometimes we will use disposables, but we try to use less waste .

The refrigerator is a full size residential refrigerator. It is not a full size RV refrigerator. We have meats and plenty of room for ice cream. This is our water filter that is filled from the top and filtered through. All the way down, you'll notice that in RV parks the water has a funny taste, it's like a bleaching chemical, so this reduces that taste and makes it more enjoyable. Different RV parks have strict rules set by towns and cities that require them to add a lot of bleach. and we will try to keep the chemicals out of our body, that's why we use that, we also have our fruit racks, we caught a rat, we were wondering how the hell they were chewing the fruit and we thought how does a mouse get there, finally I found out it was a rat climbing up how honestly I have no idea but we caught the rat bye this is our two in one washer dryer it is included in one it has a high efficiency of six hours sorry my spelling efficiency uses less. water but it has a long operating time it's just a plug it has no ventilation so it's good these are very popular in Europe and also in Asia the United States and Canada are starting to buy them more here we have our clothes prepared for each child that's all that's it for clothes that's it we have less clothes so when a shirt wears out we donate it and we buy new and we replace it and we replace it we don't let it build up and get out of control and here's our pantry we have onions . we have canned goods, we have fruit, also these are our homeschooling materials, books, pencils for writing here, we have towels, they are called Turkish towels, they are small, compact and easily fit ten towels, so they take up less space in the closet, it dries quickly, right? super absorbent, you know, okay, but it fits perfectly in our small space.

Here we have our cast iron skillets, so now that was the front. Now we want to show you the back, where we sleep and where the bathroom is okay, so whenever. At bedtime we hook the curtain and that divides the space, it keeps it dark in the back and we can keep it a little brighter in the front while the kids are in bed and we can still hang out and this is the hook, it just hooks like that. Hi, I love you, I love you, okay, so these are the first beds, the older kids, this is Toby t-o-b-y, so each kid has a bookshelf with an outlet for the iPods for games and music, so this is the light from the hallway.
We also have an outlet for vacuuming and all that. So we have one, two, three, four, five, six, six, so the kids have plenty of space to play. You can see the headroom. Lots of space to move around, play, read, toys and Lego Barbie games. We have fun lights so that each child can have their own. creativity and finally the parents sleeping area, it's not that fancy, just get into bed, plus we have another bunk bed above the feet and that's his bed, he sleeps there, the parents clothes are on that back shelf , so we also have fans, these can be used. as you drive the bus they open towards the back so you can reverse the airflow in whichever direction you want depending on your needs whether it's hot or cold and it's also remote controlled and for fun we'll open the hatch emergency, it's an emergency escape. so all the windows can be opened in case of an emergency, if there was a fire or any type of emergency, each window can be opened and become an emergency escape.
Okay, now we're going to show you the bathroom, the toilet, so this. It's like a barn door, so the shower, the wood we use is cedar, it's waterproof, the shower has hot and cold water and we also have the faucet for the kids to brush their teeth or wash. I never use it but the kids use it during the shower we just push the faucet to the side and that's how we put the shower curtain up it's like a vacation you know a little luau on the beach and now the toilet is called a toilet recyclable compost diverts or divides the poop from the p, the p goes to the front, it is diverted to the gray tank and then to the sewer connection and the poop goes directly to the bucket and when you finish in the bathroom you just take a handful of the sawdust and throw it away on top of the poop, that reduces the smell, if a child messes up or makes a mess, it's very easy to clean with just a quick wipe and that's fine, so now we want to show you the storage under the bus. water electricity how propane works so the first bay is probably considered the garage and storage take a look well then there are eight batteries of 100 amp hours each if we are not in a trailer park let's say we are in On a farm or at a free federal campground we can use our batteries when we are in an RV park and we can plug into the outlet we run directly to the 30 amp breaker, most buses run on about 50 amps, we built this bus and We put 30 at that time in Canada, we never thought we would deal with the heat and really need extra air conditioning, but in the south it is so hot that we probably should have done 50, but 30 is enough, so when we use the batteries, I have to transfer to the inverter which changes the batteries from 12 volts to 120 volts AC.
Okay, we'll show you the other side of the hot water tank. We will show you on the other side how hot water works. The tank works and so do the propane tanks so this hot water tank is on demand meaning it is not constantly boiling and the temperature goes up and down when you ask for hot water it knows you want hot water and turns on the gas when you turn off the hot water. the gas is cut off, saving you money, it only boils when you ask for hot water, it never boils, it is tankless so I want to show you how it works without a tank, so inside that chamber is the fire and the cold water enters the copper pipe at the bottom it wraps around that combustion chamber as it travels through, around and up, when it gets to the top it comes out hot and that's how it works, it comes out through the floor and under the bus and we'll take a look at it. we have two 30 pound propane tanks that last forever we only use them for cooking and hot water we don't use them to heat the bus or as a heating system we have small heaters this is just for cooking and hot water these are the tools and different stuff, spare parts, okay, it's hot, oh, it's over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, very hot, I'm sweating, so that's the utilities and the garage, the middle bay is more just storage, it's like three by three, we can fit, you know, nine to ten. boxes comfortably, this is more long term storage, it's not daily use, okay, so we will have winter clothes during the summer in there and then summer clothes in there, we will change them depending on the season and also our batches of fabrics for sewing . of different things, this is the diesel that fills 700 liters or 192 gallons.
You can imagine that it is very expensive to fill it recently. I filled it up for five dollars a gallon, so I spent five hundred dollars for a hundred gallons of diesel. This is the battery for the bus and this is the last storage compartment, it's the storage, but it's also where our fresh water tank and our gray water tank are kept. Hopefully you can see this at the top is the gray, it's the kitchen, it's the shower, it's a gray waist and also our urine. as I explained earlier with the urine diverter, that's the plumbing, the first one is the washing machine, the first trap, the second trap is the shower and the last one is the toilet, so they all connect and fall into the gray tank and the sewer. the bottom is fresh water so when we don't have hookups to the RV park we can use that fresh water tank with the pump which is another filter so we have an additional filter so we have that filter and we also make our water drinking in the berkey also here we put our bicycles our sports equipment hockey sticks baseball bats bicycles my golf clubs everything that fits there I will show you the other side and I will show you the water connection and also the drain hose it is hot here I am I just stowed an extra seat outside the van, we needed it to have room for groceries and we just needed more room in the van, but anyway, that's the gray tank again on top, it comes out here and we just slide on.
The RV drain hose is homemade. I ordered the tanks and then connected the fittings myself with the help of a friend to shut off the flow. It is not a lock like a motor home. This entire bus was homemade. I built it myself with the help of my dad and friends, this is how we decided to do it: it's a 220 liter (gallon) tank which is probably like 80 gallons, I think 80 or so and the fresh water fill is right here, We simply remove that fitting, take our water hose and fill it. So if we get RV hookups back up, that hose goes through the floor and gets to that hookup, and we have city water pressure, so that's it, the power goes under the bus, I should say the wire power supply and also that one goes through the floor and straight to the switch panel, well, thanks for watching, like it, comment, share with your friends and
