Yes. Did your experience there match your preconception of the US before you got there through television and movies, or was it different? Uh, no, it matched my perception. Yes Yes Yes. And everything, yes, more or less. Yes Yes Yes. Everyone was very friendly. Uhhuh, um, and cozy, I think. Uh, but I, maybe New York isn't really a good representation of all of America. Yes. I'm not sure if that's correct, but yes. That's right and it's not because it has so many people there, but it's also very unique compared to the other cities. So it's like everyone is represented, but that's why it's very unique.

Yes. I used to live in Costa Rica, so I can relate what I really like is that it's diverse.
So I really like the beach, but I also like nature. Um, like the forest is more, uh, in the eastern, um, part of the country. Um, I like that it has many job possibilities. For example, my family lives here, so Harlem is a really good place for me where I have a little bit of both worlds. It's a little small, but I'm in Amsterdam in about 20 minutes and I'm at the beach in about 20 minutes. So yes. I like the diversity of the Netherlands. Yes. Yes. Is there anything you would change or want to improve about your country?
Oh, that's a good question. Um, I think it can be more egalitarian so that we're really welcoming everyone. Um, and that the amount of money that people earn is a little more equitable because we earn a lot of money in the Netherlands. I think it is a very rich country, but there are still many people living on the streets, for example, or small families with children who have many problems. And I think it's also good to pay a little more attention to those people. Yes. Yes. And one last question. Do you think it is possible for people from the US and other countries to fully integrate into Dutch society here?
Or do you think there's always a line between locals and Dutch speakers, um, and foreigners who speak English? I think it really depends on where you go, yeah. When you come to live here. But I think it's a little difficult at first. Yes. Many people in the Netherlands speak English or American. But I think really integrating it is a difficult thing. Yes. Yes. Because I think when I was traveling last year, I was in Central America and everyone was together, so it didn't really matter where you came from, everyone was together. And I think when you come to the Netherlands, you are a little bit further away from the Dutch.
Mm-Hmm. The Dutch are more united. Yes. They stick together. Yes. It's easier, you know, to speak your own language. Um, I can imagine, it might be a little difficult at first. Yes Yes. But once you meet the right people and get to the right places, I think especially in Amsterdam, everything will be fine. Yes, yes, I know.
