They come two in a package, so I'm going to use two packages. I'm using hot glue to attach them. Weird, I'll spray paint. I also used a cylinder vase and will paint it with my white glitter and spray paint the inside to add some details to my vase. I use my gold paint pen and I'm just going to go around that edge and we make a centerpiece, you can use it for your home or for an event abroad, now we have our dry pieces. I'm going to add some popsicle sticks and I'm going to cut one in half and I'm using two popsicle sticks and that will be part of our base.
I glue the two sets of garlands together and place a second popsicle stick on the opposite side just to hold them together and this part will sit on the base which is an adulterous wooden board. I used this one before, but it's a wood panel from Dollar Tree. just paint it gold I paint it gold, you can use any color you want. I use my hot glue in a generous amount. Just place the frame on top of the base. Place the vase inside and just like that, guys, I hope you like it. let's move on to our fourth project, we're making a wall decor and I'm using these plastic plates from the Dollar Tree and I'm using the small set for this project.
The small set comes in a set of six sheets. I use five plates. Use yours. welder to cut the edge for two of them I will leave the rims solid and for the other three I will cut the edge into one third and two thirds in the same way I have three two thirds and three one third not of one of those larger pieces we are going to cut a quarter a third. and we are going to throw away the other piece, I hope you understand that you can ask me any question you want, I am always here to answer you, so now we should have two solid circles, four small sections and two large sections. there is a smooth side and there is a textured side the textured side is the side we are going to use for the top of our design just to see how I place them nicely the two circles go on top of that big one first and then I place the second big one underneath of the two circles I put it together first before gluing them and I use my hot glue to glue them I just put a small amount after it's all together now you can reinforce our little pieces that we are I'm going to put it on all four sides and the edges go down , just make sure the openings are even on each odd side, now it's all together and you can turn it over and reinforce the back.
I already spray painted my design and used my gold oxide. -Strange oleum to hook to the wall. I only use some adhesives because they are very light. It's okay, you can use velcro strips if that's what you have and that's how this project turned out. I hope you like it. Now we are going to move on to our fifth project. I'm making a leaf sculpture that you can use for a shelf or coffee table and I'm using a shelf liner. I'm journaling with a piece of foam board and I'm going to make it a little bigger and I'm using my exact one.
Knife to cut the piece removes the outer layer from both sides. I'll use a round paperweight and press that foam board into the center area until it's weirdly curved and use my tacky glue to add my shelf liner, then cut out the piece and do this for both sides. If you want, go ahead and wait until it's dry. I didn't wait until it was completely dry so as you can see I add a layer of glue and it swells so it's not as clean as it's supposed to be so make sure you let the glue dry first.
I just add veins with my hot glue and start big and then I'll release the trigger to make it thinner. Thanks and I'm just trying to line up the veins with the edges of my leaf and I'll do that. for the opposite side and I'll do the same for the back, now I just trim the edges so it's nice and neat. I put a peg in the center of my sheet and this peg is six inches long. I spray painted my leaf with Rust-Oleum Gold and planned to add Gold Leaf but couldn't locate my gold leaf so I went a little hotter. glue on the edges so you can seal it and then just give it a second coat of spray paint that dries.
I'm going to make my base and I'm using tower blocks. Dollar Tree has wooden blocks you can use for the base. but I use my tower blocks just to make my square. I connect four tower blocks and then I will glue them all together to make my square. Now I have four pieces and I'm just going to glue them together and try to place them three inches apart. each side because I'm going to use my mirrors and my mirrors are three inches. No, I will add my mirrors, all the elements that I use. I'll have the link in the description box below, just press more under the title to find the description box, it's not perfect. for now, but when I'm done it'll be perfect okay so I'm going to add a fifth mirror to the top outside, I'm going to use a piece of foam board, so I'm just marking that piece with my pencil and then I'm going to use my exact knife to cut that one out. piece and I'll hot glue it to cover that base and make it look a little neater.
I use some felt from the Dollar Tree and I just stick it with my hot glue on all the corners where I'm going to use mirror tiles and I use two rows of my mirror tiles in the corners. I leave enough room for two more rows at the bottom and now do this for all sides of the top. I do the same and add two rows below the base. I'll add some bumpers. I only use hot glue to make bumpers. I make the base so it doesn't scratch the table to attach the frame to the base.
I use a golf ball and cut it in half, then use my Exacta knife to make a hole in the top stitch that is big enough to fit. my skewer to hold my golf ball I use my strong adhesive and then I'll fill the bag with my hot glue. I'll give it a few minutes to get tacky and then place my frame inside. I'll be sure to hold it down with something to keep it in line while it dries. That's how this project turned out, guys. I hope you like this one now. We are moving on to our sixth project.
I am using an old container. I'm simply cutting the edge of that container to make a vase and I'm going to use the same concept as the previous project. I'm also using a flower piece from the Dollar Tree and I'm going to put those flowers right on top of that old container and I'm going to go ahead and paint my vase with my white glitter, so for this vase I'm going to make leaves with the lining of my shelf and cut out random sizes, cut out rectangles and then cut out the shape of the leaves. I'm just drawing veins like I did in the previous project.
I'm working on a silicone surface. You can use parchment paper and you can cut several pieces at once. Spray paint your leaves and I'm using gold for my color. All dry, so I'm going to go ahead and place them in my vase and place my leaves. I use my tacky glue right when I apply the glue, give it about 30 seconds to get tacky and now stick it to your vase to add some details. Can you add contact paper? I have gold contact paper, what can I add? ribbon but I have this hoop and it's the perfect size it's five inches and I think it makes the vase look really nice so I'm going to use i and this hoop and I'm spray painting it gold and then I'm just going to put it on. up and I'll push it into place while I use my hot glue to secure it.
I just poke holes in the top of my floral foam and then I'll add my flowers and that's how this project turned out guys. I hope you like this one, please let me know which project was your favorite this week and if any of them. you're going to recreate if you missed last week's video, here it is on the screen, just click on the rectangular box to watch it.
