The carrots come in a packet, so if you want to make six of those, you'll need to pick up two packets now. I'm going to take my napkin and fold it into a triangle. These are some linen napkins that my daughter and I found at the thrift store for 15 cents each. It's a bargain, you'll get them out of the NAP pull. the napkin ring with the napkin through it and then add it to your beautiful tablescape. Now I used a Silver Dollar Tree charger, a white plate and then a white square plate for the nextel atti.

Why are we going to create a beautiful floral flower now? I have this big, long pot that I found at the thrift store for three

dollar

s, but if you don't have a pot, you can grab several gift boxes from Dollar Tree. I painted them gold and then added these white frames to the front. I also found them at Dollar Tree and have a link to the tutorial below. I'm going to use two bunches of hyacinths, two bunches of hydrangeas, both are the white green type, three bunches of ferns and all my flowers. I found at Dollar Tree Dollar Tree has some really beautiful flowers if you choose the right color combination I'm also using three bunches of lilacs one of these Emeritus and this one is the pinkish off white color and then I'm also going to use two little bundles here of wisteria which was also in creamy white.
I'm using two bags of floral moss to complete this. I also picked up one of those Dollar Tree candle holders in a white set on East 6000. Back to the top I made two of those holders and am using two of the target

dollar

bunnies. I'm also going in with my wife. Meyer's wood cleaner to clean this box very well. Now I'm going to take those little cake candle holders and I'm going to place them in the center of this arrangement because I want to create height for my bunnies to snuggle into them. In the arrangement for this arrangement I am also gluing some Styrofoam blocks.
I used three Styrofoam blocks and just cut them in half and now I'm adding the wisteria to the center part. This is the tallest part of the arrangement, so I added both in the center and then I'm adding some of those dollar

tree

ferns. I'm just adding one package, but you can also separate them if you want. Now I'm adding some of the taller white hyacinths. and those are going to come out and be pushed to the side a little bit, so I cut two off the stem and now I'm going to leave the three on the stem and grow them further on the back of the fern. now I'm adding some lilacs so really what I want it to look like is a really beautiful blooming garden that these little bunnies are playing in so continue adding some lilacs and you can separate them with some wire cutters pretty easily and now I'm adding my beautiful pink flower.
I love them. I think they are very high end for a great Dollar Tree job this year. I'm also filling it with some beautiful hydrangeas. I'm rebuilding a fern part to Make that loop out and back and then don't forget about the back of your arrangement, so you'll go in the back with some ferns and also some of those beautiful white hydrangeas. Hydrangeas are really pretty because they are a fuller flower so they will fill out your arrangement nicely, it will also add texture and dimension to this arrangement so we are creating even more visual interest going in and along the back and inside and around the front so this doesn't It doesn't have to be perfect, you guys play with this, make it feel like it's a garden in the spring blooming and if you look at my garden, I always like to plant a kind of English garden, where it's a little bit wild and a little colorful and simply.
It's a bit of fun, I hope it makes sense, so I'm going to go in with some taller flowers and then I'll also throw in some of those ferns again. I continue playing with your arrangement once I have my arrangement where I want it. come in with some of that moss so everyone can use the green dollar

tree

moss. They could use Excelsior grass. My Dollar Tree had some brown moss on hand, so that's what I'm using. I think it looks very pretty and it is a very spring garden. friendly, I'm also adding some moss on top where I have those cute little bunnies and I think this is turning out so beautiful, so perfect that it looks like something you could almost use for a wedding table.
I tried to keep some of the arrangement is a little low, but it got really tall, who knows, I may decide to move it, but I think it's really beautiful and honestly, it made me want to have a surprise Easter dinner. Next dilatory DIY we are going to create some. beautiful photos of small eggs with some of those dollar tree speckled eggs, so the speckled eggs come with a hole in the bottom. You can take a shish kebab stick and just add a little bit of hot glue and then stick the shish kebab stick in and instantly that creates an egg pick and you're going to pay several dollars for egg picks at Hobby Lobby or Michaels and with these You'll get quite a few selections for just $1.
I love them, they're great to use in floral arrangements, pretty much anything your heart desires. for Easter they fit perfectly in this beautiful arrangement. I only put a couple in this arrangement because I didn't want to take away from the blooming garden, but I wanted to make it very Eastery and spring-like. We had to have a couple of speckled eggs now for the next Dollar Tree DIY. I'm taking one of their LED candles and I bought this doll some black and white contact paper left over from Halloween and believe it or not, I've kept it for so long so I'm just adjusting it to make some sort of sleeve around it. sailing.
I noticed on the Pottery Barn website that they are using a lot of black and white even in their Easter decor, so I really wanted to incorporate some of that into my tablescape or some of my French farmhouse displays that are in my dining room, so now I'm just grabbing that sticky note. I removed the label from the back and it sticks very well directly to one of the LED candles from Dollar Tree. it's not a real candle definitely don't use a real candle for this I used an LED candle and then I decided to add something a little bit more touch, you all know me.
I love going extra and added some Dollar Tree jute twine and then I had a beautiful personalized candle. I feel like it looks very high-end and goes perfectly with a lot of the French farmhouse decor and DIYs I've been sharing with you all again. I'll link some of them below if you like. I'll need some inspiration, these are the Dollar Tree baskets they receive. I was very excited to create them. You all are amazing

crafts

men. I love it and it's a huge blessing to me, so here we go. Cute little candle. Tiny budget for your next DIY dollar. I want to share with you how to create an egg and a napkin ring. So you're going to take one of those little foam eggs from Dollar Tree, you add a little bit of hot glue to the front and then you take some of that Dollar Tree. I call it baby breath. I think it's technically called a chip, so you'll just get hot. glue to each side of your little egg.
I'm using this because I couldn't find my other carrot and only bought a package of Ella tree carrots, so I'll have to mix and match my napkin rings. Now this makes me a little crazy because I'm trying to make a matching tablescape, but in the end I was very pleased with it. I thought they turned out really adorable and it's just another cool little DIY if you want to do something different besides just the carrot. maybe you couldn't find the carrots, usually you can almost always find the little eggs, so here it is in the foreground, add that little bit of hot glue, the cute little egg ears and you'll have a beautiful and beautiful personalized table napkin holder, and It's really almost nothing because I think they come between six and ten foam eggs, so for two dollars and three dollars you have some beautiful napkin rings, so here are our adorable egg-shaped napkin rings.
I used the little orange ones that way. of coordinating and carrot napkin rings, but this is a great idea if you end up having some mismatched napkin rings but still want to make something personalized and adorable. I also used on some of those Target bullseye bunnies from the playground, they are terra cotta. I think they look really beautiful and blend in with some of those oranges I used in the tablescape. I think this is absolutely adorable, very stylish and very affordable for the next Adele Yugi DIY you are going to make. grab one of those peeps headbands and you'll simply cut out the little peep on top, hot glue it to a napkin ring, and then you'll have this really adorable personalized napkin ring for your kids' Easter brunch table.
You can also Make this for a whimsical adult table too, now we are putting together a Dollar Tree tablescape so I used a white tablecloth, we used these white Dollar Tree placemats, the Silver Dollar Tree Chargers white dinnerware with the round set and then I took that square. plate and turned it on its side and added in this beautiful floral my sweet little Dollar Tree candle. I think it turned out so elegant, so gorgeous, and then the Dollar Tree napkin, so beautiful, oh my gosh, this is too much. Dollar Tree really carries them too. adorable egg candles.
I added some Dollar Tree jelly beans in and around the candle just to give it a really festive touch and I added some pops of pastel color to tie the floral arrangement together and then the greens that are on the table runner and then the oranges. That's a great idea too, if you want to take and tie all your cakes together, you can do that with your food, whether it's candy or little inches of candle or even some extra touches of fresh flowers if you want to add some fresh flowers. and around some of his tablescapes.
I hope you all like this and I hope you are so inspired to create something beautiful. I think this is wonderful, it honestly made me want to have an impromptu Easter brunch. It was very festive even with mr. romantic came home and said: wow, what is this? So my daughter and I had a lot of fun planning this creating this. It has been such a blessing to have her home this week during spring break. I will definitely miss her when she returns in today's video. I'm so excited to share with you six DIY French farmhouse inspired craft decor projects, so we'll be using items from the Dollar Tree, where there are items that I've saved up or that you may even have in your home that you could reuse and recycle. .
I've always wanted to have one of these beautiful lanterns to decorate with, so I decided to create one using everything I had on hand and all the items from Dollar Tree. To get started, I went ahead and gathered up several Dollar Tree frames that I had left. From another project for this Lantern, I will use 4 8 by 10 frames and then four of these sliding mirrors from Dollar Tree. I'm going to go ahead and take everything out of the frame and also remove the little tabs. Now you can see that I removed them the wrong way and it broke the frame a little, so when you remove the tabs, remove them andPull them toward you, not away from the frame, which will prevent them from breaking.
I learned that the hard way, so anyway I'm going to go ahead and grab the little mirror frames from Dollar Tree originally. I thought I wanted to try to get the mirror off but it wasn't possible because they didn't come off very easily and I didn't want to end up cutting myself by breaking the mirror so I decided to go ahead and paint chalk over the mirror and the entire frame so I'm using chalk paint homemade that I mixed. I used a cup of regular latex paint and a half cup of baking soda and I went ahead and gave all of my mirrors a coat and then now I go in and give all four of my mirrors a coat.
I end up giving all the mirrors and frames two coats on the front and then one coat on the back. I definitely suggest going ahead and painting them ahead of time, although the drawing time made this project a little long, so now I'm going to use some e6000 glue and run it along the long edge of the frame. I like to use e6000 glue and hot glue them that way they will be more permanent and stay together better, but you can use hot glue, although if you really want your flashlight to last I definitely recommend it. using a stronger glue, but I like to mix them that way, the hot glue will hold them together while the e6000 glue has time to dry, so I went ahead, six tiles, glued the other side of my frame and then also added the glue hot and then continued this process until I glued all the frames together.
Once I had them all glued together, I let it dry for about an hour, and then decided to go ahead and add my little mirror parts. the top of my frame so they wouldn't stick so I decided to use a white pipe cleaner which blended in pretty well with the frames and I just wrapped it around the top of the mirror and then under each scroll piece and then just I twisted it two or three times to keep it in place. I did this same process on all four sides and that way my little pieces of Mir held up nicely now I'm just removing the excess pipe cleaner on the end. and that way it doesn't stick out now I'm using some of that dollar tree tin that comes on those welcome to our patch signs that come out for Easter and I'm going to take and I'm going to cut this piece of tin so it fits over the pipe cleaner because I didn't want the pipe cleaner to show this is just a little added detail and since I'm trying to use all the Dollar Tree items I thought it would be really cute so I'm I just took some hot glue and hot glued this extra bit of tin and then cut another piece to place on top.
I found it was easier to hot glue the top piece of tin first and then make the second piece and I brush painted tin with a little bit of white chalk paint just to help it blend and I am absolutely in love with this palace lantern French foreigner. I think it turned out super beautiful now. I didn't leave any glass in the frames, these were actually mirrors from Dollar Tree, so I wanted it to stay where there was nothing around it. That way I can put a really pretty floral coming out of it, but for now I'm using really romantic beautiful candles and I thought they gave a really nice glow to my entryway table.
I feel like it looks very French farmhouse, very shabby chic and very sweet, and I'm absolutely beautiful and perfect, just what I've been dreaming of. and I had planned it in my head. I was so excited that everything could come together. I am so excited with how this project turned out and can't wait to decorate it for the different seasons to prepare for our next DIY. I'm just grabbing a basket from Dollar Tree and then this little basket I bought at the thrift store for $50. It came with this little fruit and a basket liner inside. I'm going to keep the other pieces in case I want to use them.
I'm going to use them for another project, but I'm going to take some of that chalk paint and chalk paint the entire basket, so I did one coat on the inside of my basket and then two coats on the outside and waited to chalk paint. from the end of the basket until I finished chalk painting the inside and then here is the Dollar Tree basket. It was originally green and I grabbed some pink spray paint. I thought I wanted to make it pink, but then I decided I wanted to make it more. neutral that way I could transition into summer and now I'm just using some black Apple Barrel craft paint.
I want to give it a little bit of that French farmhouse vibe so I'm adding a little bit of gray to the top of the basket and then weaving in and around the basket just to give it a little bit of dimension. I realize that at craft stores and specialty stores these baskets that are painted are a little expensive sometimes, so I thought why not create our own for a dollar and I knew it would look perfect in this French farm vignette that I'm creating in my entryway, so I turned the Dollar Tree basket on its side and then added a very cute little handmade basket. nest that I am going to share with you how to make a bunny that I had left over from years ago and that's it, we have a very cute and festive little French farm vignette that I can change the interior decoration and even put I have it in my kitchen or wherever I most like like so now I'm going to share with all of you how to create a bird's nest out of a roll of paper towels so I'm just going to take this roll of paper towels and cut it out. half and I'm folding it to make it a little bit flatter and then I'm going to cut it in half again and then I want to go ahead and work it a little bit with my hands so that it folds into a bird's nest shape.
Now I'm adding a little bit of hot glue and I'm just going to hot glue the two pieces of paper towel cardboard together. Look, you guys could use them pretty well. any cardboard you wanted, but it was nice that the paper towel roll or you could use a toilet paper roll came together naturally, so I hope that makes sense anyway now that I'm not in a big giant vat of hot glue and some of that excelsior grass from Dollar Tree, this one is rather pale in color. I wanted to make a lighter bird's nest to go with this white French farmhouse vignette I'm making, so I'll just go ahead and shape it up a bit. more and then I got some twigs from outside my house, these were just some old dead twigs that had dried out over the winter.
I cut them and am forming them in and around the nest. They formed quite well, but I went. Go ahead and hot glue them under the edges where I had glued the cardboard pieces, which helped them hold up a little more. You can also take a piece of twine and wrap it around it if that is something you felt needed to be done. I also took a look at the bottom and decided that my bird really needed to build a real nest, so we went ahead and hot glued and then added a little more verbiage that had fallen from the top to the bottom and well, I have a beautiful very festive nest, perfect for spring.
The bunny is nesting here and I love having the basket underneath because some of these spring bird nests are littering the tables for next time at Dollar Tree DIY. I wanted to reuse some. of those plastic eggs I had lying around so I decided to go ahead and cut paint on a couple of them to go ahead and add them to my little Easter basket and yet I think these are really cute for the style of the farm and to add. with the bunny and it's a great way to reuse those plastic eggs that we all have everywhere this time of year, so for the next doll, a tree, I'm also reusing some of those hearts that I had left over from some DIYs. during Valentine's Day I simply cut myself painting the front of the heart and ended up using two coats.
If you notice, I'm really trying to repurpose and repurpose items that I already have on hand, that way I can go in and Reorganize my craft stash once Easter hits and I know that I didn't really buy too many things, hopefully, but yeah, They're going to be perfect and I'm just using a little bit of that black Apple Barrel pay to mix and make type. of a little bit of gray, I just painted it in the middle part and then I used some Elmer's glue and I just crossed the heart with Elmer's glue and glued on this little French saying that says life is beautiful, so I was so excited about This just thought it would be perfect to add the little romantic touch of the heart with the sweet basket and really get festive with that cute egg bunny for the next DIY.
I want to share with all of you how to build a bird. nest in a cottage cheese container so we went through a lot of these and I've had my eye on them to make a bird's nest so I just cut the top off and now I'm hot gluing them in and around the side and I want to wrap the whole thing around container with this piece of burlap colored fabric that I have, so I'm going to continue gluing and wrapping the fabric around the entire container and now I'm just cutting off the excess part. The fabric that I made on view I also wanted to go ahead and put the brown fabric in and around the base so I'm just hot gluing it to make sure it doesn't get too wavy in and around the bottom of the container and then I went ahead and took another strip of fabric and hot glued some to the bottom and then just trimmed off the excess.
I really love the shape of this container. I guess it's spring and I keep thinking about birds' nests, so I wait anyway. you guys love this. I'm going around the edge and then I'm using the rest of that associated grass. I'm really happy to use the rest of this because it's been floating around in my craft stash and just getting everywhere, so I'm really excited to make another cute little bird nest here. This one is also similar to the one we made with the chicken can, but I'm just running around with some more of those old dead twigs and so on.
This one I went in with a piece of yarn that I had left over from another project and tied the edge of this one so that this made a different bird's nest shape from the last one, the last one was kind of a little flatter and wider, but really I like how unique they all look and how different they look using different sizes to me it seems a little more realistic so now I'm just adding my lovebirds and you guys saw me wearing these. in one of my last DIY nests, there they are, they are also from the Dollar Tree, they were actually from Christmas and they had shiny heads.
I just painted them with a little bit of crafting that you guys can definitely do and I know a lot of you had. I was wondering if that was possible and yes you can definitely add a little bit of paint to your birds to cover up any spots that you don't care about so for the next DIY dell'utri we're just going to take a little bit of that. Fruit I had from the Dollar Tree and I also had some that came in that little basket I bought at the thrift store, so I'm just taking and painting the fruit with some white chalk paint.
I also did a similar DIY on this over Christmas where I added glitter to the fruit and some gold paint so that's just another idea once the holidays roll around if everyone needs some pieces of fruit to add to some of their flowers or whatever and they wanted it to be a little bit more muted in tone. I think I even went ahead and added a little bit of gray paint to the outside of this, but I definitely didn't want the fruit to be gray, so here it is, I added an apple. In the basket I added that lemon.
I might put it back in with some color once summer hits and maybe do some yellows anyway, but I wanted to keep this all completely neutral this week. I'm in the mood for white, so here it is. It's the entire exhibition. I am very in love with her. I think it looks really clean, really fresh, perfect for spring. I can go in and add some pastels for Easter, if I want to do something coastal for the summer, I can add some seashell looks and all that. So I really love this. I hope you like it. I really hope you are inspired.
It is a great blessing to have you here. I hope you have fun crafting with me and I just thank you and wish you everything. The best welcome to passersby. A thunderstorm, lightning while we hug each other. Bonjour, welcome to my YouTube channel of the time. The romantic home of Colombia. In today's video, I really wanted to be bright and romantic and just take you guys on a journey into a fun craft. adventure and just pretend we're in Paris, so get out your glue guns, get out your gear and paint and let's start crafting the first treaty.
That's why we're going to create a really beautiful shiny glass jar for you. I'm just going to grab a glass jar from the Dollar Tree. I'm actually using one of my old Bath and Body Works candle jars and you're going to apply a full coat of Mod Podge on the inside of the jar and you want to cover everything. inside the jar with avery thin layer of Mod Podge, don't make it too thick and sticky or it will get a little weird and gross, then you take your glitter and you just want to roll your glitter around the inside of your jar. because you want the entire jar to be covered in glitter and you're actually going to do this process two or three times depending on how full you want your glitter look to be, so once you have the first layer you want to let it dry. two hours between coats, you're going to shake off the excess glitter and then you're going to save that glitter because you're going to roll it into the jar again and then you're going to completely cover the inside of the jar again with more Mod Podge and then you're going to add glitter again.
I love making these stars and I usually do three coats to get good coverage and then at the end of this if you want to seal your glass jar inside so that you can store things in it. You want to add one more layer of Mod Podge on top so you can see. I'm really using my glitter. I'm reusing it so just have a little plate of glitter ready and you can reuse your glitter and continue adding your coats these are all on the inside of your glass jar and then you can add makeup brushes inside of this you could add some Coco Chanel lyrics on the outside of that comment, let me know if you want to see me. i make one of these but i just added some beautiful pearls and roses and i think it comes out so beautiful very feminine and so glamorous so i got this so quickly i got it again.this from my mom she stored dice in one place and it's pretty trashed but I think picnic baskets are really versatile, if you find them at a flea market or thrift store definitely grab them because they are great for extra storage.
I'm going to paint this one, we're going to Paris with these DIYs, so I hope you grab your berets and a nice Paris suit and let's start creating Dean. I'm also starting this DIY with my homemade chalk paint now I'm going. Call it French gray because we go to Paris and of course in Paris we have to have French style colors. I ended up adding two coats of my Frenchie Paris and gray top paint to the outside and inside of the basket and worked it over a few times to dry, now I'm just going to use some of my Dollar Tree letters and add the words Paris to the inside of my basket My idea for this is to create a Paris inspired basket. that I can store things and I want to be able to leave the inside of the picnic basket lid covered so you can see the cute Paris letters and I think that turned out really adorable.
I threw that thrift store jacket that The kids saw me wear into my trash to treasure the ruffled basket project, which was a couple of videos. Check it out if you get a chance and here are some of the magazines that some of my work has appeared in and where creating a vintage charm was one. one of the first ones that really touched my heart because I got the cover of that one and it made me believe in my art more, so now for the next adultery DIY I'm going to wear one of those Halloween hats, this is one of those tinsel ones. decor pieces and I just want to remove all the tinsel so basically what I want to create is a floral umbrella and I don't have an umbrella on hand for this and I've had this DIY in my head for a while. so I knew that hopefully we could try this and give it a try so I'll cut the end off if you guys end up wearing one of these hats or just grab an umbrella if you have one believe me it would probably be easier.
I'm also using one of those tablecloths from Dollar Tree. Now these tablecloths are very thin, so I'm just using a very thin layer of glue and I'm hot gluing the tablecloth to each side in a sort of downward pointing triangle shape. I left extra fabric in the front so I could stuff my umbrella in the center and just grabbed a couple of paper towels to put things in there and then decided I needed an extra piece of the tablecloth in the back to tidy up. contains this entire project, so I'm hot gluing another little piece and this is actually on the back of my tablecloth accent piece, so now I'm just putting some of those paper towel pieces on.
I think I used four or five paper towels, just fold them and push them in and then I'm using a napkin ring from Dollar Tree that I had hot glued one of those cute little Dollar Tree bows on the front. I'm just adding it to the base to shape it. of giving it like the end of what an umbrella would look like, sorting it out and then I also had some of those bamboo sticks on hand so I just hot glued two of them together and I'm just pushing them on. at the end and then I hot glued them to the front of this cute little umbrella decorative piece because I wanted it to look like they were kind of the little spokes of the umbrella that are coming closer now that I have my sticks. glued to the front I wanted to take a flap of the tablecloth and just drop it and glue it down and then I also glued a piece of burlap ribbon around the top and then I'm just putting one of those dollar tree styrofoam pieces on cone shape to fit in there you could probably use any styrofoam shape but this is what I had on hand and then I'm using a lot of flowers from Dollar Tree with these beautiful hydrangeas and these beautiful roses and then I had two larger roses that I think I bought at Michael's craft store last season.
He used two of those fluffier types of roses, but I keep adding greenery. This is just some greenery that I had left over from another one. In the project I used a chenille pipe cleaner stem on top for my umbrella handle and then added some sort of loop ties again, some ribbon I already had on hand. I added some looped hum to the base of this and also to the top. I really admire this beautiful floral umbrella and knew I could make it or create it somehow. I think it came out very, very sweet. It definitely can never be used as an umbrella because it's not the strongest in the world, but it absolutely is. adorable and very happy and very French inspired, I definitely think so.
I hope you do too. I think it looks beautiful in this space and I can't wait to share more of these DIYs with you, so for the next dollar treatise, why? I'm just going to cover some old books I had with Dollar Tree Brown craft paper, so you're just going to take the book, place it inside the piece of craft paper, and cut two inches off each side. of the craft paper and then you will find the edge and you will just fold it and then you will remove the book and this is really an old way of covering books, comment and let me know.
Did you guys use to cover your books with brown paper bags that your mom had at the supermarket? We actually did it when I was in school. Either way, they will put your book back inside once they have made both folds. You're going to fold it and take those little indentations there and slide them over your book. Now be very careful because the Kraft paper from Dollar Tree is very thin and it's actually a little piece of my book, but the corner got torn a little bit, but it's not the end of the world, you can always tape it up or, like me you just go ahead and keep going and once you're done with that site you can go ahead and fold it. and I put the other side and I also decided that my book needed something extra and romantic because I'm dreaming about Paris and I always think that Paris is very romantic inside I decided to add this cute little Dollar Tree Julie Lee you can find them in the wedding section at a Huge package, you can do tons of

crafts

with these mats, but I'm gluing them very lightly to the front of my book.
I really feel like it gives us some interest in some fantasy just gently gluing each side together. I just made the top edges in and around and then put them back in and you guys can get really creative with this. They could use Julie Lee in different colors. You could add some stamps or stickers to the front or sides of these and So what I wanted to do is make two books with the mats, one on top and one in the center, and then just a simple book to give it a little bit of visual interest and to that it wasn't so staged and so now I'm just adding a really beautiful silk ribbon that my lovely friend and subscriber here Lisa sent me, thanks again.
I love all this beautiful ribbon you sent me and I'm tying it into this really sweet ribbon. a little laced bow and what she likes is just a boat like you're tying your shoelaces and I think it looks really beautiful of course I had to go a little further into this and just used a swatch of painting that was kind. about the same shade of pink and then I had these French letters that I wanted to cut out and this one says I think life is beautiful or life is beautiful or something like that in French, it was French fault that I had printed on my computer, so I just pasted this on top of this little pink tag with a little bit of Elmer's glue and then I also ended up adding a little piece of Dollar Tree Rose contact paper to the top of this again, you guys can be super creative.
With this part I love making homemade labels and I tied them with some jute twine that you find in the automotive section of Dollar Tree. OMG I am so in love with these soft pastel colors. I think they are really beautiful. For spring I also think they are the perfect colors to add, as a vanity, maybe among your special favorites, but if you are decorating shabby chic or just a girly glam, I think they are very soft and beautiful, and this little set just really touched my heart, really brought me a lot of joy. I actually put it in a little corner of my living room and I'll probably end up moving this type of thing back into my beauty space, it's really what I had in mind for it. but for now, since it's still spring, I'll leave it outside, it's so beautiful and so whimsical and it just transports me to a different time and place and I hope it transports you to Paris too, so next time a tree spins.
I'm looking at this cute little 5 by 7 frame and it was actually a birthday card that mr. romantic had given me and that's why I didn't want the birthday part to be seen. I keep some of my really nice cards and feel like this is a great way to reuse them, so I'm just cutting out a piece. of that pink dollar tree contact paper, I feel like it goes with the French farmhouse 5 kind of glamor as far as tying in those blocks and whites with the black letters and also with the little books that we just created, so I'm just putting the frame back together and how beautiful this is, voila, we have this beautiful piece of French style art, we're just whimsical art.
I think it looks perfect in this setting. I love the pink and white stripes on this beautiful plate that I actually bought. the set and t.j.maxx a couple of seasons ago and then that beautiful Dollar Tree candle and I'm still in love with this space, it's so gorgeous, these big roses make my heart melt. I can't wait to share them with you. In fact, I have some. tea roses that will be blooming in my backyard this season, I hope fingers crossed my roses are doing well and they are very similar to what these roses look like so I think that's what made my heart smile so for the next adultery, why am I just going to Grab these gift boxes from Dollar Tree and you can see they've already been painted once or twice, but I want to paint them this beautiful French gray that we used on the picnic basket.
My idea for this is to create some really cute storage containers. So for the first one, I know I need a storage container to hold my remotes, so I wanted to go ahead and make this one for my remotes and then I'll come up with a couple more DIYs with the other one. two now, if you remember, from my junk projects to hoard, I also found these striped ones, the striped pantsuit that was in bad shape, but I was able to cut the pant leg off and it was folded and lo and behold it fit perfectly on top of this box that The pant leg looked at this, you guys pulled this out.
I'm really excited because I still have some of that fabric left over, so I left my remotes here now, there's a little line to basket, it kind of covers up the yuck. I have already made that box and we have a beautiful new remote control holder. I'm in love, let's go to Paris, are you ready, pack your bags, let's go? Anyway, I'm so ready for a vacation. I love this, it's so fun. so adorable and the other thing I have to share with you all is this beautiful purplish pink tree that is blooming outside in my front yard and for the life of me I have forgotten what this tree is called.
I have two in my backyard like Well, this is one of my favorite times of spring when this tree blooms. I feel like I'm in a wonderland. I love it, it's a blessing to have it. It turns green in the summer, but I wanted to share all that with you too. Growth collaboration offers everyonemy viewers a free five-piece gift set. I'll link it below in the description box, that's what they buy for twenty dollars, but now is the best time to buy because they have their spring fragrances with their peony. lilac and look at these bottles guys, they are so beautiful.
I know you'll love them, so for these Dollar Tree DIYs I really want to share with all of you how you can give your home some spring touches on a tiny budget. so to get you ready for these dollar tree diys, we're going to create a really adorable little potting bench. You'll need two Dollar Tree signs, some of those falling tower blocks, two of these Dollar Tree garden decoration type planters with hot stakes. glue, a craft knife and some paint, so now I'm just going to remove the little hangers from these two signs. What I want to do is create some for my garden bench, so I'll grab my two. nice signs and I'm going to line them up all the way and I want to make them as long as the yard decor piece.
There are little indentations on the end of each piece of garden decor that I know I can put a pipe cleaner through. Place the signs on each end because the signs also have holes, so when you cut the ends, make sure you cut the ends that don't have holes. Now I'm just using a tape measure to draw a straight line. line and then I'm going to take a craft knife and I'm just going to mark out the sign. It takes about three times. You don't have to cut these signs all the way through, they're pretty thin so we're just going to score it about three times and then you should be able to fold it in half and that will give you a nice clean edge and if your edge gets a little delicate, that too you can take some sandpaper and just make the ends with the sandpaper a little nicer, which is what I did with this.
I also used sandpaper to remove the rest of the little sticker on the back of the Dollar Tree signature and then walked in with my favorite lady. Meyer's Cleaners and I like to try to clean as I go when I'm crafting, especially when it comes to sandpaper dust. Now I'm just lining this up and unfortunately I realized I cut them a little too short, not sure how that happened, probably because I should have measured any hills better. Now we're going to take some e6000 glue and a little bit of hot glue and I'm going to add some e6000 glue and a little bit of hot glue to the bottom. of this falling tower block and I'm working from the part of the sign that has the little sign because I'm going to turn it over once I create these legs so I'm using two of the template tower block sets and just the I'm gluing and I'm going to do this on all four sides.
The other thing I suggest after I was done with this project I thought I could see it a little better than before but some of my legs were a little uneven so you might want to take and draw a straight line down so you can work them and place them evenly. Just a little tip from what I learned from this experiment, so once I have all of this, I decided to stabilize it a little more and add a block to the top of each of these legs. You may even want to stabilize it more and add blocks to each side which is what I did as well and that just gives it that extra stability and I feel like the e6000 glue will also help it hold up much longer.
It was a really nice day so I decided to take my project outside and do some spray painting on the outside. I had originally painted these Dollar Tree. little accent pieces and aqua blue, but I decided to take it back to a dark brown color because my idea was to use dark brown with the whole project and then go over it with this really pretty antique white cream paint that my aunt gave me. I'm just going to go under this a little bit of the table legs and in and around the bottom piece of the sign with a dark walnut.
It's oleum 2x doll spray paint. I really love that spray paint if they have some extra. I think it's about four dollars a bottle, so now I'm going to use some of that old white paint and mix it with homemade chalk paint. Many of you ask me how to mix homemade chalk paint. one cup of paint to half a cup of baking soda, it's great for craft projects but I would buy regular furniture chalk paint, just FYI, I gave everything two coats of antique white paint and then used a little bit of that Black Apple Barrel.
Craft paint from Walmart and I did this while the paint was wet. I just added it to give it a slightly aged look. I added it in and around the edges and then in just a couple stripes in the center. now I'm going to add my garden gate to the little legs of the bench so that there's a little place on the side of each garden gate that you can put the pipe cleaner through and then you'll just attach it to the little hole it lives in. at the top of your sign, where the sign hanger was, then you could just put those pipe cleaners together and voila, you have your garden bench attached and then I just took some wire cutters and cut off the excess.
I decided to make one for my garden bench. long piece so I added an extra piece of the sign that I had originally cut out at the end because I had it too short and I just hot glued it under this and then I also hot glued a small block to the back of the decoration. piece where the bench and the decor piece came together and I painted them and they were all ready to go and then I just cut part of that sign in half and hot glued it to the bottom to give it a little extra home, now I would.
I suggest when hot gluing them I would also add the e6000 glue because they weren't as strong as they should be so I'm going to go back and add some of those e cigarette cells and glue because I want this cute little garden bench. to be something that will last and now I'm just adding some of these darling little DIY plants that look, they're super cute for the next DIY, we're just going to grab some of that chalk paint that we mixed and chalk. I painted the outside of these cute clay pots, so I bought two of these at the thrift store and the other one is the Dollar Tree size, but be creative guys, I think these are about a dollar at Walmart too, so i did it. two coats of chalk paint and then go a little bit towards the inside edge if I know I'm going to use them for interior purposes.
I'm hoping to have a little herb garden once the season gets a little closer, though it's true. now it's still very cold at night, it's nice during the day, but it's very cold at night, so it's not the time to put up plants. You guys comment and let me know if it's still too cold where everyone is and when. Do you place your plants? I usually put them up in May, so now I'm just adding some Styrofoam from Dollar Tree. This is the next part of the Dollar Tree DIY so you can pick up some Styrofoam from Dollar Tree and I can't.
I don't even have to hot glue the styrofoam, it just fits perfectly in these pots and now I'm also using some really pretty flowers from Dollar Tree. Except these were leftover flowers from another project, so definitely check your stash and see who has some pretty flowers. there are hydrangeas and they look like some lilac twigs, also some cherry blossoms, for the life of me I don't remember what the pink flowers are called, but anyway, and now I'm just adding some cute little daisies, I also had a very pretty pink one I used it and so I got creative.
I really wanted this to feel like it was a spring garden, so I wanted the flowers to look like they were blooming naturally, so I try not to place them too perfectly, but just have them be a little wild. I love that wild English garden feeling when they placed all my flowers and where I wanted them. I took some of this dollar tree moss and put it in and around the top of the flower arrangement. I had different things mixed in, but I thought that gave a natural feel again to English gardens, so gather whatever you have that's kind of natural and if you have some moss, throw some moss in there and now I'm just adding. this cute little decorative garden bed and I think it is absolutely adorable, it only cost us a couple of dollars and while it is legal, we have brought spring inside our homes, now for the next dollar tree we are going to create super cute little wreath so I had this wreath that I had added some leftover moss from another project and then this is the bird's nest that we made out of a tuna can from one of my other DIY projects that I will link next.
I'm just adding two pipe cleaners. on the back and then a strip of felt over those pipe cleaners. You can also use a piece of ribbon or any fabric you have on hand, but I wanted to give it some little arms to adhere to this wreath and so on. the hot glue had dried. I just took the little twisted bows, twisted them, and then cut them off. I like to use the tuna can because I actually had a chicken can, but we made a bird's nest out of a chicken can. and basically just a little group of birds nesting things around that canyon wallah you got it ready to go so anyway now I'm just adding a cute little dollar bow I made again this was from another project that he had disarmed.
A while ago I added that on top with a pipe cleaner and then I decided my nest needed some stuff so I added a dollar tree moss rock and then this dollar tree egg and a couple more eggs because it's spring and That's why our birds are nesting and have many beautiful eggs. These are also some of those two or three eggs that I just painted with some pastel colors and you can hang this wreath very easily just by adding a little twist tied to the top or a piece of fabric, but I decided to place this in front of my cute photo bunny I thought it was really adorable.
This is another DIY we did. I have the fairy graphics link below where you can find that fun image and there are several different vintage fun ones too. images that you might want to choose from, so for the next Dollar Tree DIY we're going to take a Dollar Tree frame and they're going to remove the glass from the frame and what we want to create is a cute little doily tree fairy garden. picture sign so you're going to take one of those garden figures and this was just the packaging that it came in that I had saved so I'm just going to hot glue the packaging to the front of the frame and that will create the little backdrop background for my little fairy garden photo and you could also use some pretty scrapbooking paper.
I think they have blue sky scrapbook paper at Michael's for about 97 cents so just trim off the excess and then you'll take some extra moss from the dollar tree or you could also use celsior grass or whatever kind of stuff you have by hand because fairies use all kinds of details, so now I'm taking one of those little dollar tree figures and I'm just going to stick it where it says ferry crossing right there and then of course this figure has to have some beautiful sunflowers and a pretty pink pedal to top it off and there it is.
I went in with a little bit of that Apple Barrel black craft paint and then I applied it with a brush, I just dry brushed it and then I also applied some antique white paint that I wanted to match the little garden bench, so it's quite a little indoor garden set I thought it looked very cute and so perfect for this small space now Dollar Tree has many of the favorite things little gardens. I will check the areas in the craft section again, they also have them on the end caps. I'm adding a gnome from Dollar Tree and then for the next Dollar Tree DIY we'll be making a custom fairy garden.
I know my daughters really love it so I'm using this foam sticker from Dollar Tree and hot gluing it on. the moss stone I want to surprise my daughter, this will be her little fairy garden corner so just add this little butterfly chair and then the cute moss stone and the cute gnome and that will make this a fairy garden really special. Now I had a whole DIY video on how to create a really cool fairy garden, but if you just want a little fairy garden space, I think this is a really sweet and a fun little place to create and whatever little one it is. in your house would really enjoy playing with it, so here it is all with the beautiful wreath, the DIY garden bench, the sweet bunny shaped shirt and the beautiful little flowers in our sweet fairy garden.
WaitMay everyone like it and be super inspired. I just wanted to share with you all the little yellow jungles that are blooming in my front yard, my cat Tinky playing in the beds, how the greenery is getting knocked around a bit and here is my little outdoor bike that I created this DIY floral with. Guys, during Valentine's Day DIYs, my arch needs a little fluffing and it's been really windy lately, so everything has been taking a bit of a beating now in my backyard too. I had this beautiful little purple ground cover that I planted years ago and I planted it because I have a lot of rock foundation in my backyard and it's really hard to get anything to grow so I thought a really beautiful ground cover would be nice and I love it how violet flowers are so green in spring.
Hello and welcome to my Olivia Beach Cabin at Olivia's Romantic House. Any of you love decorating in coastal beach style, whether it's in a smaller bathroom or throughout your entire home, this definitely fits well with the spring and summer season because all the projects are light and fun colors. and whimsical and definitely gets you in the mood for some summer with beach vibes, so who's ready for some sun and some beach dreaming of today's DIYs? We're going to use items from the Dollar Tree to create a beautiful coastal beach vacation in five of these DIYs, you'll see our Pottery Barn inspired.
I love seeing what they are making, including this beautiful blue piece of art we created using supplies from Dollar Tree on their website. $600, but we'll do it for just a couple of dollars, okay guys, so we're going to grab a piece of dollar tree cardstock and I just have some water, a paintbrush, a plate of paint and a few different colors. . Now these are the aquamarine acrylic paints from Walmart. I have cool blue and Key West and I had a company called artisans and I had some acrylic colors, they are both blue, so we are going to create this beautiful piece of wall art.
I'm just taking this. Thrift store frame and I'm marking it now. I will tell you before you paint your picture. Definitely cut your cardstock to fit the size of your frame. I learned it the hard way and it almost became a disaster. but what I want to do for this Pottery Barn inspired piece is I pulled out the Pottery Barn art to have something for reference and I'm just making some beautiful clouds so basically the words in this scene were clouds in the sky and then It's a really whimsical beach space so I'm just using circular motions and some of the aqua and blue paints mixed in with some of the whites so get creative with this, it doesn't have to be like that.
Perfect, once I painted a bunch of swirly clouds in the sky, I just want to draw a darker blue line on the bottom of my cardstock, so this is just cardstock from the Dollar Tree and some acrylic paints, and to In the clouds I was doing a circular motion so I'm going to use a little bit of blue and then mix it with some whites and again this doesn't have to be perfect because the clouds aren't perfect and they're constantly changing. so just use some blues and some whites and mix in a circular motion and then for our part of the ocean or sea or lake or whatever body of water you prefer, we'll just go ahead and make that blue line darker and then taking some white and I'm kind of blending under that blue line, then I'm going to apply a little bit of that Key West Apple Barrel paint under that and then a little bit of the darker blue over that again.
I'm just layering the entire portion to just give that wavey feel and again this doesn't have to be perfect so I dip my brush in a little bit of water as well to blend those acrylic paints if they get a little sticky and I don't want to mix them so much. and I like a really whimsical and dreamy look to my art, so you guys could be more precise and whatever suits your tastes, just do it now. I'm mixing a darker blue on this side and went ahead. and added some sand to this side I washed my brush, mixed some white paint and some Apple Barrel Espresso Craft Paint from Walmart and here is my beautiful beach wall art piece that went into this frame after a bit complicated so definitely cut your piece of cardstock before you start painting and make sure it fits in your frame so I hope you like it this is a really fun way to redecorate your home and if you go to Walmart the paintings Apple Barrel crafts are only about 37 cents each now for the next le-tree DIY you will need one of those willow wreaths from Dollar Tree and two nautical rope bows so I just hot glued the first one on. piece of nautical rope and then I'm going to re-apply hot glue, so basically I'm looking for little gaps in the willow wreath to use hot glue.
I really wanted this to be a little sporadic, so as I worked I just found different spots on the willow wreath and then added some hot glue and another piece of nautical rope, so continue gluing your nautical rope in and around your wreath again. I wanted it to look like a very relaxed beach vibe. Beach decor is very casual, very relaxed, so I tried to do it in a bit of a crazy style, you know, just put it together, roll it up, hot glue it and then put it together some more, so this project was really inexpensive.
I can go ahead and glue on starfish or seashells. I found a few seashells for 50 cents at the thrift store, but Dollar Tree also sells seashells, so you're just going to hot glue them onto the non-Karev nautical rope, it was helpful because I gave my seashells something to stick to, so there you have it, you have a really beautiful beachy wreath, of course I had to go in and add a bow, you know me. I love my buns, but keep sticking those cute Beatties on. themed items on your wreath and you are having a very cute, very relaxed and as natural beach wreath as I promised.
I couldn't resist Athena Bo. I'm just going to go in with some of that boring colored tree wire burlap ribbon and I'm making a loop. it's at the top and I want to make this one a little bit longer. I'm just going to cut it out and then hot glue those two pieces together and of course you guys know I had to go a little further, I couldn't. resist, I tied a bow with a shoelace, which is a very simple bow, very easy, and then Deb is following those ends to give that boutique a gorgeous finish and then I'm going to hot glue it to the top of my small hanger again.
I saw a wreath similar to this on the Pottery Barn website, it was about $89, of course I didn't have a lot of other seashells, but I'm just using what I have for this project. I think it would be beautiful to add some starfish or more seashells or like I said before you can leave it very relaxed and very simple and I think it looks so cute and so perfect and with a starling beach theme it gets me ready to go on vacation. I need to leave tomorrow, right? I really want to come, wouldn't it be fun to go to the beach?
I'm actually going to the beach this summer so I'm getting even more excited making these DIYs and I hope you guys like them so for the next stellar DIY gift we're going to grab some of this cute little Dollar Tree, they are just little statues, decorative pieces and they had a gold base, so what I wanted to do was mix just a little bit of white paint with a little bit of brown paint, you can also use gray paint, but basically I just wanted to apply them with a brush dry, so to apply it with a dry brush, I just put a little bit of paint on my brush and then lightly went over the top. and then I took a piece of paper towel and wiped off a lot of the paint.
I liked the gold paint and I wanted it to show up but I wanted it to be a little more beachy like maybe. It was a bit leathery and had been exposed to the sun, so it wasn't hard to do with this. I just applied that white paint over these painted ones very easily and voila, I had a really cute little piece of decor and it didn't show. so new and shiny now, if you're going for a glamorous theme, you can also add, you know, some pretty rhinestones or, if you're going farmhouse, you can personalize this with a gray base paint or just whatever suits you best. like, maybe doing shabby chic Beach and you want to do a little aquamarine on the base of these.
I also took one of them and put them on top of one of those Dollar Tree candle holders to give it some height, so I didn't glue it on, but you could definitely do that as another part of this DIY to give these decor pieces some height. , so I fixed them once I was done and let them dry. I arranged them in this cute little beach vibe scene on a cute little tray with some candles from Dollar Tree and I really love this, it came out so beautiful and it's so perfect and so beachy. I love this guys, I don't know, I guess just something for a change, something to give me something to look at.
I'm looking forward to summer too, so for the next adultery DIY we're going to be creating a really cute little beach sign, so I'm just grabbing some of these cute polka dot letters that are in the teachers section and they're like a kind of heavy cardboard. I guess you'd say they're not even that sturdy, but they already have letters made, so I thought, sure, yeah, anyway, I'm just grabbing a piece of cardstock from Dollar Tree. and I'm cutting it to fit where I feel my letters will go. I wanted a larger sized beach sign and I wanted it to also look like it was some kind of rough wood, so I'm just taking it and cutting little triangles out of the end of my piece of cardstock to hopefully create that rough G sign that you would see, you know, in a home decor store, you would see like a really cool wooden sign that says Beach on Well, this one will be cool and beachy and fake, but it will be a fraction of the cost, so now that I have my little things of beach wood trimmed off the end, I'll grab some of that wood from Dollar Tree. contact paper and I'm just cutting it to fit and then I cut it a little longer on each end that way I could go back in and cut the contact paper away from the little ends on my side.
I mix it like this. just smoothing it out and also with the contact paper if it gets a bubble you can just pull it up and down and then smooth it out so now I'm just taking a hot glue gun and I'm hot. Gluing my little beach letters back on, you can find these letters in the teachers section. I know they are used for teacher boards, but I thought they were cool. I'm not good at making lyrics where you guys could definitely still feel something really cool. this, but this made this project go really quick, so now I'm punching some holes in the top of my beach sign because I want to hang it and I'm going to go over the top and this is just that Dollar Tree. nautical rope I'm going to tie a knot at the end and that way it will look really coastal, beachy, casual and cool.
It also has a neat little hanger to hang from the wall. I think this would be great art for a teenage girl's bedroom. or even in a boy's bedroom, you could use different colored letters. I know they had some navy letters and really all different colors on there, so here it is hanging on my beach style door with the aqua color. I think it looks very nice. I was excited. actually having this pop of yellow color and with this beach theme I feel like these citrus lemons that I added with the Dollar Tree DIYs will also bring some of that pop of color so for the next le-tree DIY we're going Solo I'm going to grab an LED candle from Dollar Tree and again I'm going to go in with some nautical rope and I'm just hot gluing the nautical rope around this sail.
I didn't actually hot glue it to the candle because I could just make a loop. I wrapped it about halfway and then cut it again and then I just hot glued that piece on top so that there was one side of the candle that had a little bit of an uneven and rough edge, which again didn't bother me because I want let this be very casual and very beachy and Allah, there we have a very beautiful beach candle now for the next dell'utri DIY I'm going to share with all of you how I made this tall glass candle holder.
This is also a Pottery Barn inspired piece. I've been admiring this tall glass chandelier for a while but I think they're there for about $39 we're just grabbing one of those tall cylinder vases from Dollar Tree and I'm using a little bit of e6000 glue and then you can see I'm going in too with a little hot glue and I'm taking one of my old ones and bath. and Bodyworks candles that I had cleaned. I showed you that in the last DIY how to clean those candles, I'm going to continue this part of the DIY with some sand fromDollar Tree after you've given it time to cure and This really guys the sky is the limit on what kind of little vignette you want to set up with this of course I wanted to add that candle the Dollar Tree candle fits perfectly in the bathroom and in the old Bodyworks bottle, just FYI guys.
I have any of those bath, body, and candle jars lying around now for the next Dollar Tree DIY. This one is super simple. All I'm doing is going with a white bowl from Dollar Tree and some of those Dollar Tree lemons and whatever it takes. They have a very summery, beachy vibe and these little Dollar Tree DIYs here. I just used a little bit of that sand from Dollar Tree and a dollar a real candle from Dollar Tree to give it a beachy feel again and then the little marble glass from Dollar Tree. candles that they're showing right now that they have available grab some because they smell delicious so here's a little close up of all my glitter.
I love having a little place with candles. I think this would be a great place. coastal centerpiece I also think it would be great to put a coffee table and a side table or table niche just to give it a little bit of the summer beach and coastal vibe, so I really like this one, I hope you guys have it. I enjoyed it so much and I'm so grateful that you guys have been asking me to do this because it made me want to redecorate my entire house in a coastal chic style, who knows if it could happen.
I love you guys and I am very grateful, Buster, for the first doll and tree that I want to share with you. Oh hello, I created this beautiful oversized outdoor planter Easter basket using a Dollar Tree laundry basket, so the first step was to enlist the help of Mr. It's romantic to transport this giant planter. I had leftover from last season over the summer and I had planted fresh flowers in it and I knew I wanted to liven up the outside so he was wondering what I was doing with us so he moved it inside for me and I realized that the Laundry hamper wasn't going to sit inside the pot like I expected, so I had to trim the bottom of the hamper for you to cut. the entire bottom of the laundry basket and for reference the size of my gardening pot was about eighteen inches wide so I decided to cut the top row too including the top of the laundry basket handle .
I knew I wanted to just dip that in. From there and then use the top handle to create my Easter basket handle, so just grab your scissors and start cutting out all those pesky little rungs and get into the top of what will become your basket handle of Easter. I decided to move on. and I cut this spot on the basket hoping that that would make these little tabs come off easier and it really did, it definitely did that first if I removed these tabs and then I cut about nine inches off the handle to make it fit. better in my basket and now I'm just painting this white pot with homemade chalk paint.
I use a cup of regular latex paint and a half cup of baking soda. It is a great homemade chalk paint to use for craft projects. Now this pot probably will. be under a covered porch area, so I didn't worry about sealing it and I also don't mind if my planters chipped a little. Now I'm just taking it and I'm running a pipe cleaner through my handle and tying it I put it in that first row in my little bottom of my laundry basket and then I went ahead and put it inside the pot to make the second handle to see really how far down I had to reach with my handle and I was holding it worked pretty well with just a pipe cleaner on the bottom of the pot but then I decided to go ahead and use one more pipe cleaner and just wrap it around the top layer or the top row of that plastic part of the basket like that.
I made it a little safer. I didn't want the handle on my Easter basket to fall off so it worked perfectly again. You can adapt this to any planter you have. I know Dollar Tree sells small planters that are not quite small. this big you will definitely want to shorten the handle on your basket but for an oversized outdoor planter this actually worked perfectly and look how adorable this is you guys I'm so excited I wanted to make one of these oversized Easter baskets forever and was definitely feeling some spring vibes. I had this leftover soil from last season and from some of my petunias I went ahead and used real soil because this is going to come outside and hopefully once spring comes. here and the temperatures are not dropping, even though they are freezing.
I can put some real flowers and greenery in these pots, but right now I just want to do something really cheerful for my front entrance. I want it to look really high end like this was something that you know I bought at a floral florist so you think right now it looks really nice. I love white on white, very fresh and festive for spring, so for the nextel, a DIY gift, I want to create some egg selections. Thinking I'm going to use them in my planter so I'm just grabbing some of those shiny eggs from Dollar Tree, they have foam on the inside so you can easily stick some shish kabob skewers in the bottom and I did. on the other side of where the small holes already were and you can also reinforce them with a little glue if you want them to stay now.
I'm always changing things up, so now I stick them in the Styrofoam over the weekend, my dear. and I looked at a thrift store and bought this greenery for $2.50. I was very excited to find it, so I stuck it in the side of my planter. Dollar Tree also has some really pretty greenery and then I'm using the Dollar Tree Easter Greetings Banner. I just cut off the top part that had a little perch on it and then placed it in the center of the greenery that way it would stand up. I ended up going back inside and putting the bottom of the laundry basket. under the Easter greetings sign and that made it rise above the ground to where it wasn't inside the ground and now I'm adding some of these shiny Easter eggs.
I just played with it. I don't want to cover up the Easter greetings sign, so I moved the green one to the side and then decided to fill in the holes at the top with these little push pins. These are some old tacks I had in the garage. The holes are fine. be there, but I'm thinking that would dress up this top of the sign and make it look less like a sign that had the hanger cut off, so I'm just hot gluing the little vintage tack to the top, you guys could too add a button they sell buttons at Dollar Tree or just any little details you want or you could just leave it as is or even add a bow to the top and I thought this turned out really adorable and then I'm using some raffia from Dollar Tree and I tied a bow on it and then I'm using a green ribbon to tie it to the side of my basket.
I really love adding bows, but since this is going to be outside and we still have a lot of wind and weather. I decided to use this raffia. I think once spring starts to come and I find a really pretty ribbon, I would like to add an even bigger, fluffier bow, but for now this is what I had on hand and then I decided to go a little further and add this cute and little Dollar Tree Daisy and this taller little white Dollar Tree flower. I also had a couple @ly locks from Dollar Tree, now they're all left over from that.
Easter wreath I made and will have it linked below if you want to see it. I had a little more of that greenery from the thrift store, so I added it to the front of the basket and went in. the back of the basket and add some greenery soil from the thrift store as well. I felt like that really filled it out and this vegetation was quite realistic. I think you can find greenery like this at Dollar Tree or it might be more cost effective to look for it at Hobby Lobby or Michaels and then use that coupon code correctly.
You can get like a little package so here it is on my front porch if you can see it there it's where I added at the bottom of the little laundry basket to sign the Easter greetings and you guys comment and let me know if you have any questions about this, but look how adorable it is, oh my goodness, and then remember those Dollar Tree eggs that have the little stakes at the bottom, I went ahead and added that to the back of the Easter greetings sign. I simply pushed the stake into the ground, added one facing outward, and then added another facing the other direction so they were both together. for the nextel, a diy gift, i'm just going to create a cute vignette and my little bunny planter here.
I wanted to use some of those Dollar Tree eggs and I went ahead and left them with their little ribbons there. I want to see them, hopefully. They'll hold up to some of the weather out here, otherwise I need to figure out how to tie them to the bunny. I added some of those moth stones from Dollar Tree and then some small stones. I hope the rocks hold. all down but again, if not, I may have to think of something else because we've been getting a very strong wind. In fact, I even had to take everything off my little bike in the front and carry it inside because it was definitely about to blow up, so Hopefully this is a little closer, although it's under my porch and a little more sheltered , so I hope everything stays in place.
I'm really very excited. I've never tried this before, but I feel like it looks very, very. high-end and we did this on a tiny budget. I just wanted to let you know that I've seen large planters at Walmart for very cheap prices, so I hope you can recreate this. It brought me a lot of joy. having this by my front door and then Tinky, had to get into the video here, he has his little food bowl under the pot area so he's having a little snack, I think he has food bowls scattered about in and around all our little places but here it is I hope you like this so for the next DIY I found this beautiful bunny art on the Pottery Barn website it cost eight hundred dollars it was a piece of wall art oversized so I decided to create something in a smaller size. scale using Dollar Tree products.
I have this 8 for $10 tree frame that I'm going to get the glass image out of and then I went to Graphics Fairy. It's a website I'll link to below. They have free printables and a vintage bunny, so if you need some really cute little printables, head over to the graphics fairy again and I'll leave that link down below, but I'm just taking and painting my frame white. I painted in and around the entire frame with my homemade chalk paint and I wanted to make all the sides very nice on the front, now they did one coat, but you could definitely do two, I didn't care, although in reality it was going to look a little bit worn and then I'm taking some Apple Barrel black craft paint and I'm dry brushing in and around the entire frame to give it that worn vintage look and then I'm taking my very artistic little printable graphics that I printed out.
I just printed this on regular computer paper and I'm going to go ahead and replace the glass and put it back inside the frame. I also let it dry for about an hour to make sure it was nice and dry and then I just replaced the backing and pushed the taps in and I'm really excited about this now obviously it's not as fancy as the Pottery Barn picture but I'm having a hard time about a dollar, guys, I already had the paint on hand, so I guess. It looks really lovely with that blessing sign we DIYed and I love it.
I did a lot of French farmhouse in my dining room and living room area, so not only did this bunny turn out absolutely adorable. I was so excited about it. and I love how affordable it is and I also completely respect the beautiful art that's on the Pottery Barn website, but I love showing you how we can recreate this on a tiny budget for the next election. I want to create a very cute, small and elegant Easter bunny. Hi, I'm just using one of those crown shapes from Dollar Tree and I'm going to trace around the entire bunny shape to get my pillow shape, so I'm just tracing and around the entire bunny on this old shirt that I already It wasn't used and it had a couple of stains and then I'm going to cut it.
I opted for pink on the front of my bunny pillow and then saved part of that curtain that We used that DIY project to hoard junk into another project and cut this same shape to use on the back of my bunny pillow. Now I'm just gluing the edges of the bunny pillow to the pink part of the fabric and to the linen. part of the fabric so I'm gluing very close to the edges trying to make sure it sticks but leaving enough room to stuff my bunny pillow. Now there are two ways you guys can do this: you can rotate itinto. to give it a clean edge or you can just leave it like that and stuff it and it won't have as clean a stitched edge but you will have a bigger bunny and it will probably be less work not to turn it. inside out so I'm just gluing in and around the bunny pillow but I left the bottom open so I have room to stuff the bunny with some fluff so I went ahead and turned the bunny pillow inside out , the ears were quite complicated. to work with so I had to use a pen to push the little ear part back in, this is where you might want to leave it rougher around the edges and now I'm just pushing the filling in and I had to.
Use the same pen to place the filling on the tips of the ears. Now, this was a bit of a shabby-chic bunny and it's my first time trying this so bear with me, but I didn't want to do it. create a really cute little festive Easter pillow. I had to make a little pair there on the neck, but anyway zdz, so once I had enough stuffing I just tucked the edges under the bunny and hot glued them on. I'm grabbing some of that ribbon from Dollar Tree, you can find this pink polka dot ribbon in the baby section and I'm just making a tiny Olivia bow with two loops, so I just folded the ribbon over itself, took a pipe cleaner and I turned it.
I put it on and then I'm going to go ahead and add a little bit of hot glue and then I used some of that thread from Dollar Tree and reinforced the bite of the bow by tying some thread and then I had some pieces of another ribbon. leftover that I added to the center part of my little bow and then I added one of those pink buttons from Dollar Tree and I think it turned out really adorable, it's definitely a shabby-chic bunny, it reminds me a little bit maybe of the Velveteen Rabbit maybe it's Worn with lots of love, it's not the perfect bunny pillow, guys, it's still pretty adorable.
I added some embellishments to the bottom because my bottom border wasn't that great and I think it came out absolutely perfect, it goes perfectly like Well, with that little heart shaped pillow that we made on one of those last DIYs, so for our next three DIY, I will make a beautiful pipe cleaner flower, so I will start by twisting it from the middle and then start forming. Bingham petals one more time and then back to the middle and I'm going to do that four times and I'm just shaping them to be circular and round and the shape that I want and then once I've done that The last loop I just do it back down to the bottom and I'm hot gluing the pipe cleaner in the middle so it's really secure and making sure that when you hot glue, you hot glue from the back whichever side you want. it's going to be from the back so you can't see it from the front and I'm just hot gluing the stem to the back of the flower and then I'm going to twist the stem like it's a little loop and make it the size I want and then I have a marker pink, a yellow marker and a green marker so I can color my pipe cleaner.
You can color it any colors you want, but I would choose to do pink, yellow and green. now we're taking a picture frame and taking it out of the frame and hot gluing a piece of fabric to the front of the side of the picture frame and I'm just doing that on all four sides by lifting up the fabric with hot glue and then we put it back on and now we put the frame back and we're going to stick these cute little flowers on it and I'm just trying to figure out where I want them and then I just take them from the back.
I hot glue a little bit in the middle and then I press it and I do it with each one as I go and I'm angling the ones on the outside so it looks like this so the one in the center is fancy so here it is . the beautiful floral art, I love it, I love this, it goes right into my kitchen sink to brighten my day and then we decided to go ahead and bake these Betty Crocker Supreme Fudge Brownies. I'm going to pour the dry mixture, right? We started with the dry mixture and we added the dry mixture and then we added 1/3 1/4 cup 1/4 cup water we used 1 egg and I think it was 1/3 cup vegetable oil but I used butter because what we had at hand and we think butter makes everything better, so Alyssa is stirring the brownie mix really well and then we add it to our brownie pan.
These brownies came with a small packet of fudge which we also used. a very large brownie pan so the brownies are a little big but they came out so delicious we made it about two hours ago and I think half the pan is already more than half because the kids came home dad and the kids came home home and then I've been eating a lot of brownies and here it is super delicious. I definitely highly recommend it. We'll have to go shopping now. I could share with all of you how to create a beautiful and elegant table using whatever Dollar Tree items we can.
Create a beautiful home on a tiny budget, it doesn't have to cost a lot of entertaining to make your family feel like there's a holiday brunch, lunch or dinner, it's so much fun to bring some really fun whimsical items into your home, especially the first spring, so for this tablescape I really did a lot of pastel decorating. I think it's a really fun way to approach spring Easter. You can apply this to bridal showers, baby showers, whatever you like or maybe. You're just in the mood to have fun, so without further ado, play with those glue guns, get out your glitter and paint and let's start creating the first Dollar Tree IT.
We're going to create a really cute little burlap basket that I'm going to use a sort of hostess basket for my table as a napkin, so I saw these really cute burlap baskets on the Pottery Barn website. They start at about twenty-nine dollars and I knew we could create one for a fraction of the cost, so I'm going to grab one of those little black wire baskets from Dollar Tree and I'm just going to push this piece of burlap fabric in. Now I had this on hand. I think I bought it made of burlap fabric. Don't worry, I have five. dollar off coupon if you want a discount on their little website and wanted to order from them but you can find burlap at Dollar Tree you can find it at Walmart so they will just cut it to fit your basket now No I wanted this to look perfect because the one from Pottery Barn was very rustic, so I'm just taking the hot glue and going under the basket and just adding a few dabs of hot glue to the wire.
Be careful not to burn your fingers again in the process. This doesn't have to be perfect. I think I hot glued about five or six spots and got a little impatient, so I definitely held it down long enough to where it was. it doesn't come back so once I cut it out completely I decided I needed to do a little more and I used some of that nautical rope from Dollar Tree and just hot glued the piece of nautical rope to the base. of my basket and my idea was to give it a little more custom edge so I just wrap it around the handle of the basket about three or four times and then hot glue it as I go so I roll it up. and then you hot glue it to the basket handle and you have to hang on the rope the whole time as you go so you don't let it fall apart, but that's why I went ahead and hot glued about three or four. times as I roll it up once I got to the other side of my basket I just cut the extra rope and wrapped it around the base and then in my last video that I shared with you on Dollar Tree Haul, Dollar Tree has some very nice napkins cute ones, I found some in the wedding section, some in the spring Easter section, so I just wanted to have some on hand.
I added them to the basket and then some of those really cute straws from Dollar Tree pick them up, they have them in the bin organization section in my store and they come 24 to a pack which is an awesome deal if you're having any events spring or summer coming soon and, in addition, it is very fun to decorate them. I know my kids love them. and my niece loves them when they come over, she likes to use them in her hot chocolate, so anyway, for the next adultery DIY, I'm also really excited to share with you something from my latest haul and that was this amazing Dollar Tree marble . place, so let's create a beautiful two-tier marble cake stand.
Now you guys can use this as jewelry, you can use it for cakes, whatever you like, but they're super inexpensive and fun to play with, so I'm going to need three dollar tree candle holders and two of the faux marble plates, a little bit of e6000 glue and a little bit of patience, so I'm going to go in with my e6000 glue and I'm going to go in and go around the top of the candle. stick and I'm about to finish this glue this 6000, so it took a little bit of maneuvering, but just keep in mind that you should always put the six mil glue in between uses because it has a tendency to come off anyway.
Long story short, keep going. I added a little bit of hot glue in and around this as well and you just want to hot glue your candlesticks on each end to each other and then I'm going to add a little bit more to the top base of this because Then I'm going to flip this over to make the base of my support. I played with different things besides the candle holders and really in my opinion the candle holders will be the sturdiest but let me know if you have found anything else to make these little cake stands that you like too so now I'm going to the last step and this it's the e6000 glue again on top.
I added some hot glue to go ahead and dry while I was working because the e6000 glue takes time to set up and you also have to keep in mind that you need to peel off the stickers before you start your projects so now I'm looking for the center of the base of my little chandelier and then I went in and went ahead and added one more on top. I didn't glue this one in because I want to do something different if I want to change this, but I added this little crystal, it's for chandeliers. I don't remember what they're called, but I'm going to try to look it up on my Amazon and link them in my Amazon store so you can find them, but basically they're like they have these little crystals that hang down and make things look really pretty, so I just I added that. all the way to the top to finish it off and then of course my favorite popular cakes from Rhonda's Rose Cottage designs.
I couldn't resist them, but you guys could use any candy you like for the next cashier tree DIY we're making. Decoupage some of those LED candles from Dollar Tree. I love their LED candles, they're so fun to play with, they're super affordable and easy to use, so I'm just grabbing that napkin from Dollar Tree and cutting off the top. there were four layers on this and you want to go down to just one layer, that's how I did my decoupage for this project, so I'm finding the last layer and I'm cutting it out and I used the whole part of that. napkin and I just wrapped it and then I'll take out the glue and start gluing so I usually go down with a layer of glue first and then I start wrapping my napkin in and around where the glue is and then add a little bit of glue on top like this which I love using Dollar Tree Mod Podge.
It's super affordable, a lot of fun to use, and just great for some really cute little craft projects. Be careful when placing your Mod Podge with napkins? There's a Pro Mod Podge out there, you guys know that, but it's so easy to tear the napkin. I did tear the bottom of my project a little, but don't worry, that's nothing, just a little glitter and a little tape can't fix it. Go ahead and Mod Podge your candle and your napkin to the top and then once I got to the top I just trimmed off the excess with my scissors and then added a little more glue to get the napkin. to move over to where that rough edge was, I hope that makes sense and then once I put a good layer of glue on there, I went in with my favorite sparkles and glitter and shined it and polished it to town, so this is just a slightly larger. type of chunky glitter.
I think my aunt sent me this and they have this at Walmart. It was in a different package. I actually have this mixed with other glitter. Anyway, I'm a glitter protector, so there it is all sparkly and absolutely fabulous. For the next dollar to DIY, I'm just using some tape I thought of at the thrift store and this is another one of those LED candles. I only glue things to the LED candles in case there are kids watching this. A normal candle. Don't glue things on yourself, just leave it as is anyway, so I just took the ribbon and wrapped it around the base and then where the ribbon was, on the other end of the ribbon, I just hot glued it on and Then I came in with a little bit of that pink satin ribbon, more opaque, it had little polka dots.great, but look at your craft stash, you might have a really pretty spring ribbon.
I bought the lime green ribbon at the thrift store for 15 cents, so check your thrift stores too. for the tape, I know mine always has a couple nice ones here and there, if I look long enough I'm also finishing this off where my little edges were where you could see the cuts. This part is optional and you can just take one. piece of fabric and glue it on top and that way you won't have a rough edge and there it is. I wanted it to match my decoupage candle but not match perfectly if that makes sense, so I also wrapped my decoupage candle with the ribbon. on the base and then that pink ribbon on top, remember I had a little mess on the bottom of my candles so I have nothing a little glitter can't fix.
Now I want to make some custom napkin rings, so this is the next le-tree DIY and we're going to grab some of those dollar napkin rings, they come in packs of six and then these little paper bows come in the party section, like this that you are just going to hot glue your paper bow. Your napkin ring, be careful when removing those paper bows because they are hot glued to the cardboard and tend to break if you remove them too hard, so very carefully remove the little paper bow and then just heat it up. glue it on and then I also hot glued the little edges of the tape, so about three little places anyway.
I also want you to know that you can grab some of that kind of jeweled ribbon from Dollar Tree, like you can see this gold and personalize it. This napkin ring even more so if you want to look super stunning and glamorous for a bridal shower or baby shower and you want to accessorize it with whatever color is at your wedding or your baby shower, that's another fun thing you can do for this one. I wanted to leave it white just to keep it a little simple so it doesn't compete with my floral napkin, so I'm setting the table with a placemat from Dollar Tree, this one is from Dollar Tree on the Dollar Tree charger, that faux marble set from Dollar Tree.
I ended up putting another white plate on top of the one they have on the tree, white plates, and then I just grabbed my napkin ring. I took out this linen napkin. I found these linen napkins at my thrift store for 15 cents, so look around. at your thrift stores for napkins and then I pulled out that really cute little spring decorative napkin and I think this is the point if you guys are decorating an elegant table. I think we're nailing it on this one, guys, really. I'm so excited to share this with you, so for the next Dollar Tree DIY, we're just going to create a really super easy bunny photo frame.
They'll just grab a 4x6 picture frame from Dollar Tree and frame it in one of those. frames that already have the mat. I think this was actually supposed to be a money holder, but Lala, we have a beautiful, custom piece of art for the next dollar to DIY. I want to make some beautiful custom flower arrangements so I just took these old candle bases and put them in the freezer and if you let them freeze for a day or so the candle wax will come out great and then I'll just use my favorite from Mrs. .Meyers dish soap.
I have a coupon below if you need some delicious smelling cleaners, so I cleaned my little candle bases because why waste money on flower faces if you don't have to? I'm also using some of this nonsense. to get the rest of that yucky stuff off so now I'm just going to use my Dollar Tree ribbon and I'm hot glueing a little dab and I just want to create a really elegant and classy little short bouquet arrangement so I want to do this because I like to have a shorter arrangement when I'm actually entertaining my assumptions, so a lot of times I create really big, beautiful tall arrangements and those are really pretty until you can't see over your tall arrangements. see your guests so I wanted to create some shorter ones to have a little more atmosphere at my table anyway I'm just tying a shoelace bow which is a shoelace bow it's the way you dress your shoes with your pretty ribbon and then you go to Hot glue it to the front of your little candle base and then I take some of those hydrangeas from Dollar Tree and I just cut them off and leave them a little long so they hang down. so I have about six six on each stem and then I had this really big beautiful fluffy rose.
I think I bought them at Michaels, they cost a couple bucks, but they're a nice little splurge to keep your table as minimal as possible. extra wow factor or you could use some of the pretty roses from Dollar Tree, whatever you like best and what you have on hand. I love this. I think it looks so beautiful, so elegant, so soft and so ready for Easter dinner, okay, next time. Dollar Tree DIY I'm going to take one of those dell'utri chocolate bunnies and I just want to personalize it with a very simple tie around the neck with a ribbon.
I saw this in a magazine and thought how easy and sweet. and how simple, you just tie your pretty bow and then you can display it. You could use it in the center of the table with your plates. You could use it on your little charger there. You could use it as a nameplate, whatever suits your needs. elegant again, but I think it turned out so adorable, so customizable again for whatever color you're wearing. I have to share with all of you how excited my daughter was when she came home to see this little display. I gave him permission to nibble. on that chocolate bunny so my chocolate bunny no longer has ears so for the next le-tree DIY this is something really fun and easy that you can make as a table display.
I just put in some of those little pastel dollar jelly beans. the bottom of their Dollar Tree champagne flutes have fake champagne flutes, they come two for a dollar, they are plastic but they look really cute, they are fun, easy to use and disposable if you just need to throw them away and don't have much storage space . or you are entertaining to a lot of people and you don't want to go out and buy a ton but the little jelly beans look so adorable there and then a couple of little straws you can add some punch and voila you are ready for a fabulous Easter if your guest doesn't it does.
If you want the jelly beans in there, you could just put them out on a little side plate and I also gave you a little sneak peek of my cabinet. My mom blessed me with this set of Limoge white plates. These are beautiful. They are old. Their parts do not match. some of them are a little worn but you can't really tell I was excited and delighted to have something new and beautiful just to display in my cabinet so I changed some of my plates and moved my pretty bunny plates to my kitchen so I'm working on redoing some spaces in my kitchen.
I can't wait to show you guys I have so many crafts coming out of my head this week guys I'm so excited I hope you do. They're excited. I hope you have a crafty spirit and feel inspired. It's a blessing to have you here and I hope you have as much fun too. Well, here's my outfit for the day. I just had this one. pink tunic shirt with some comfy black leggings and my comfy scarf, some earrings from Walmart and I'm ready to be a crafty oversized mom and my idea is to separate it and turn it into a garland.
I also have three of these pieces from Dollar Tree Creamery. and some Dollar Tree lemons so they can get expensive ones at Walmart. I found this for free. It was at my mom's house. I think I'm getting ready to have a baby, so what I want to do is use my wire cutters and take this wreath apart. I'm just removing the piece of garland that's holding it together so basically you have to take that big piece and wrap it around it and remove that part and then once you remove that part you can take the garland and or take the wreath and just separate the pieces with Be careful, this required a bit of maneuvering.
I've also been told that if you soak it in water overnight, that makes it a lot easier now I'm just cleaning the surface on this cabinet. because I know those garlands are going to cause a bit of a mess, so here is the inspiration for my garland: this beautiful lemon garland that I saw and wanted to recreate, so I took my long piece of garland and wines in and around this top of my cabinet and I just gently pushed it to each side and then now I'm taking those Dollar Tree pieces and garlands, these were three of the green Dollar Tree pieces and I just wrapped them around. in and around the garland, if you want to secure it, you can always use wire to hold it down.
Plus, lemons from Dollar Tree are perfect for this project. You can just pop the end out and there's a little bit of Styrofoam on that end and you just Take a piece of wood from your garland and I re-poked mine. If you want it to be more secure you'll probably want to add a little glue, but this garland goes anywhere and it's not a very large high traffic area. I'll only have the luxury of decorating the court, so I think it'll be fine. I continued by adding several more lemons and then I also had some white dollar tree flowers that I wanted to add in and around the garland as well.
I am so excited about how this garland turned out, it brings a fresh pop of color to my kitchen for the next le-tree DIY, we are going to create some wall art using some foam board from Dulli Tree, so I had a frame on a second hand store. I had hand painted it white so I'm just cutting this piece of foam board to fit inside my frame and I'm using a sharp craft knife and I'll tell you guys if you use a cutting level while you're cutting your board of foam, that helps it not be rough, the foam board doesn't wrinkle and now I'm taking one of those checkered tablecloths from Dollar Tree and I'm just tracing the piece of foam board to fit the size once I have the tablecloth. traced, I'm just going to cut out the piece of tablecloth and what I want to do with this tablecloth is hot glue it on top of the foam board and that way I have a background for my little sign.
I noticed Joanna Gaines was on the Anthropology website and she had made a really pretty plaid wall decor, so this is my inspiration. Now I'm just hot gluing the placemat onto the foam board but I suggest going and finishing instead of all the way because I made it a little complicated now I'm just measuring to see the right size to put my placemat on so this is a Dollar Tree placemat that says live, love, eat. I thought it would be perfect for my kitchen. a little yellow head and that cute french farmhouse gray so I'm just gluing a little touch from end to end and then it's there and I was so excited for this piece of wall art that it basically cost us about three dollars and then of course the cost of a frame, but I'm really a thrift store hunter when it comes to frames.
I'm really excited about how this project is turning out, so for the next DIY I wanted to create. this bakery sign I saw at Michael's craft store, so it was one of those ten type antique enamel reproduction signs, so I'm just taking the other part of our telephone board, always recycling and reusing as much as possible possible and I love doing that. You guys know I love it so I'm just taking some Apple Barrel black craft paint and one of those brushes from Dollar Tree and I'm just going around the edges with the brush now that this brush was even in bad shape. so it even left some rough edges, but if you've ever seen any of those old enamel signs, they're a little rough, so I was okay with it looking a little rough and a little aged, so I just went. around the edge of the foam board and then I also kind of made a curve on each end and then I grabbed some of those dell'utri leathers that we found, which are next to the cardstock section, they're already made I'm so in love with these I they went right to my little sign here and I had to put them back up because I got the letters a little bit and even, but they weren't that hard to get back up.
I just used a pair of tweezers to gently lift them up so as not to break the letters, so I just want to sell the bakery. I thought it would be really cute for my kitchen and it fits perfectly here and you guys if you wanted you can even go in and paint more details like around the back and the sides. I wasn't too worried about it, I didn't think you would notice it much, but I think it turned out perfect and very cute. Regarding kitchen decor, the next thing I saw on the Anthropology website were also these cute baskets.
They're kind of a two tone ombre style basket so I just wanted to take this wire basket from Dollar Tree and I take the handle off and then I'm taking some of that Dollar Tree and the nautical rope and what I'm doing is I'm just gluingHot glue the nautical rope to the base and then wrap it along the wire basket and then make a pop as you go, so just continue hot gluing the nautical rope in and around the wire basket. Now I will tell you that if you are using the wire basket, the hot glue will come through.
I was using this basket to display on top of my shelf, so I knew it wasn't going to be seen in it, but if I decide to take it down I'll probably line it with some of that cute little doily, so that's just a note for you , thanks for this project if you didn't do it. If you want it to go through, you may want to choose a different style of basket, so once I got to the top, I was actually out of nautical rope, but I had this burlap wire ribbon from Dollar Tree on hand, so I'm just going to take it and I'm hot gluing it around that top to give the basket a more finished edge.
I really wanted it to be finished all over the top so it's nice and smooth, so you're going to continue to hot glue that on. I even hot glued it over where the little handle parts were. You can also wrap the handles and reattach them if you want to have handles on your basket, so now I'm just cutting this out and then I'm hot glueing it. That last little piece and this part of the basket will be finished, so once I finished this, I got out some white paint and what I wanted to do was go ahead and start painting on the base of the basket.
I also went. Put it back on with a little bit of hot glue and make sure those little edges are tucked down, so now I'm just adding a little bit of white paint to the base of the basket and it took about two coats. I didn't tape the basket. It was good. I followed the lines of the rope so I just worked in and around the sides and then I ended up putting a paper towel down and to make sure I didn't get completely paid off everywhere I continued working the paint over and over again. It wasn't actually that difficult to paint on the Navajo.
I'd never actually done this type of project before, but I thought it turned out really cute and only cost a couple of dollars. I think on the Anthropology website these baskets were like thirty to forty dollars and we went for a lot deeper. I love that you know that I would love to keep a book. Also, I left this basket out in the sun and it dried for a couple of hours before using it. to my cute little display but it fit perfectly on top it just fit right under that darling little piece of lemon garland and I thought it turned out really cool guys I was so excited about this I think it looks very in fashion. and it's perfect for this space for the next WGI, so we're going to create an inspirational faux wood cutting board sign, so I'm going to grab two of the dry erase boards from Dollar Tree, you'll find them in the teacher section and then Cutting off the end of one of the boards because I only want the top to have the handle.
I want to create this type of faux wood cutting board. The next thing I'm going to do is take a piece of sandpaper and sand it lightly. the raw edge on the end of my faux wood cutting board and now I'm taking a popsicle stick and I'm just grabbing a couple of these, whatever size is fine and I'm just hot gluing them to the back of my cutting board to stabilize them. this piece so I glued three on top and bottom and then one on the back for support and then once that was done I cut out some contact paper.
This is the Dollar Tree wood on contact paper and I'm adjusting it to the size of the My Cutting Board piece, this was a pretty easy part, now there was a little line where the seams of the cutting boards met but You couldn't really see much and I'm also going to add one of those decals to the front. So I chose this love is patient, love is kind. I really love this saying. I showed this to everyone in my hallway last Friday and it wasn't very difficult to work with either of them. You can see I put it in a place where it was.
It wasn't the first year I really wanted it, so I was just maneuvering it and putting that on Donegan, so I felt like it was very easy to maneuver and it also covered up the bubbles that were on the contact paper a little bit. I try not to be too perfectionist with my crafts because it might take away the joy of my crafts, but anyway now I'm adding the other part of this sign and this would be really beautiful too. on just a piece of framed clear window or, you know, just a clear frame, but I knew what I wanted for this space, so I tried it with this faux cutting board and I feel like it turned out really pretty, so now just adding a small piece of nautical rope on top and of course I couldn't resist adding one of those dollar tree wire bows.
I simply tied it like a shoelace bow. Now this was a trash to treasure project where I painted Amir with this frame. Kind of a chalkboard paint on the bottom and I just added it to the little top of this and I thought it was really sweet, so this is the space next to my coffee maker. This is where I need this reminder every day. Love is patient. Love is. kind, doesn't boast, doesn't envy and love never fails, that's why I love that saying. These are in the Dollar Tree wall art area if you need that saying or want to look for it there, but I felt like it fit perfectly and I wanted to add just a little touch of wood to my kitchen because as you can see there's a lot of white in here.
I felt like that was the perfect cut for the nextel, a DIY tree, let's create a mole. alipian bow, so to create a livia bow you will take your wired ribbon and just wrap it around itself so you can see. I keep wrapping the ribbon around itself and I do it until I get three loops so you can just look there and see so just take the ribbon wrap it around itself and then find the center and fold it over so you know where your center is and then take your scissors and simply cut two small ones. notches on each side of the ribbon once you have cut the notches and be careful don't cut them bigger than just small notches you can take a piece of wire or rope or whatever you prefer and tie it in a small place on the center of your bow so you just want to tie that bow in the center and then take your loops and pull them out and give them a little fluff and then I always go through my end so you just take the ribbon in the middle and then I cut a little notch on the end and that gives it that really beautiful boutique finish.
I wanted to give this little bow to the edge of my display here. I thought it would add some whimsy and fun and you know how much I like it. I love bows and it was all I could do and not go crazy with a floral up here, but I feel like this is really great for the kitchen, it's so simple, elegant, fun and spring chic. Frenchie cottage, we're ready to go to the bakery, we're ready to eat some food and all that fun stuff, so now I'm just grabbing two of those dollar target bunnies, these were three dollars each and they were in the terra cotta and I'm taking some white paint and I'm just brushing them with a coat of white paint and I wanted to give them the look of being a concrete bunny so I took some of that Apple Barrel craft paint. which I had left over from the beginning of these projects and I'm just applying a little bit of black craft paint while the wet paint was still wet and then I added a little bit of white paint and here they are.
They are so sweet and so cute and this was such a simple thing to make. I knew I would be happy with them if they blended in a little more with this decor, but they are perfect ready for Easter and I think this is so gorgeous. I added my little deli grace cross in the corner here next to our fruit with that little Dollar Tree tea light candle and then I found this really cute sign at the Dollar Tree. This gratitude is the best attitude. I love that view. I think it would be a lot more in a fancier store, but here it is.
I feel like this is a sweet spot. I was very excited about this and I hope you like this so please comment and let me know what your favorite project is with these DIYs and which ones you might be recreating. I'd love to hear your thoughts and what you're thinking about these, okay, okay, here's my outfit of the day. I just have this lace top over a tank top and some skinny jeans they're like jeggings I guess I found this protector this sweater at a garage sale. I was very excited. I also knotted the ends in today's video.
I am going to share with you a step by step. tutorial on how to create this adorable wheelbarrow garden planter using items from the Dollar Tree. After creating the wheelbarrow, our garden planter, I will also share with all of you how to create this beautiful spring Easter flower arrangement, you can also change the seasonal one. decoration, so this will be a great wheelbarrow garden planter, especially if you love to decorate in that farmhouse style. I'm going to create a sort of French farmhouse floral for the interior, of course you guys can customize this to fit whatever. type of decor you love and however you're decorating for spring or Easter or the rest of the holidays, so get ready, plug in those glue guns, this is going to be fun, the supplies for this project are one of those garden pots shaped like a dollar tree.
I went ahead and painted mine white in advance for this project so you guys can use dollar tree craft paint or you can use spray paint whatever floats your boat and whatever you have on hand and then also i'm using an empty tear and roll and this "someone loves you" sign this part is optional also your hot glue gun a craft knife and also some popsicle sticks so to start you're going to take your plant pot and cut two small notches on the back. part of the pot, you're going to cut them the size of a popsicle stick, so these are the smaller popsicle sticks that come in a package at Dollar Tree and I'm just using my craft knife to make a hole in the bottom. from the planner now you can see that it takes a couple of tries to make the hole and then I also go ahead and turn it over and continue cutting and moving that craft knife now yes kids, if you are doing this, please make it have your parents help you with this part because the little part that you're poking around where the metal is can be a little sharp so be very careful so you're going to go ahead and make two holes in this.
It will be where the back of the popsicle sticks of our wheelbarrow will pass again. I had to move it to cut it but it wasn't too difficult and then you can try it to see. If your popsicle sticks are sticking out now, we're going to go to the front of our planter, so this is the other side, this is going to be the front of a wheelbarrow and you're going to cut two little notches in the front of this. and I separated them a little bit because this is where we're going to connect our wheel.
Now I cut mine on the side but I advise you to cut upwards if you can because this gave a little extra step where I had an extra popsicle sticks to hold in there so once I cut the holes to the back end and the popsicle sticks for the front end, you'll take your empty little spool, pour in the wheel and cut. I just removed the tape there should already be a hole in the center that you can feel so you will just have to take your craft knife or You can use scissors for this and then cut the hole so I just moved it and kept cutting until I felt which had a decent little hole and I did this on the front and then I turned it around and did it. on the other side, so I might as well make myself a wheel now.
I will suggest it after finishing this project. It might help if you reinforced your wheel by cutting another strip of cardboard to go around it. I realized that my will was a little flimsy so if you want to make it a little sturdier definitely try reinforcing it with a little more cardboard and then my daughter will help me with this craft project so let's just pay all these popsicle sticks with the Apple Barrel craft paint, this is just black, you can also make it brown if you want your handles to look more wooden, which is what I did in the end, I'll show you that later, so I'm painting the wheel with handmade black opal barrel paint.
I painted completely on the front of the wheel and then on the inside of the cardboard and then I went ahead and helped her paint the craft sticks as well. It was a bit of a tedious product process and I thought I was going to make two of these but it took me all day to make one so I only picked two and you can see she helped me her hands got painted and then I love it . she gave her thumbs up she had no idea how she did this but it was really cute okay so once you have your craft sticks painted and thenyou let them dry a little bit, you can go ahead and put them in and this is what the back will do. part of the wheel arch so you're pushing and two on each side so we push two on one side and then we turn it and push two on the other side so they're stuck in about the same length. because you want it to be even and then you're going to take your hot glue gun and you're just going to glue your craft sticks together so you're going to add hot glue and then I held mine up. for just a minute or two and they seemed to stick pretty well, if you wanted to reinforce it even more you could use a little e6000, but I only use hot glue for mine and again I felt like they held on pretty well, so once I had the Legs on the back of my wheelbarrow are stuck together.
I'm just going to go in with the little handles for the front and push them out the front and then I take two popsicle sticks that I cut in half and I'm making spokes for my wheels, you guys could definitely be more detailed and get creative with this part. I wanted the microphone radii to be large so the popsicle sticks could fit in there and they could see where the paint was showing. I didn't put on my second coat of paint until I had everything put together because I didn't want it to rub off while I was putting that piece back together, you guys could go ahead and do this however you choose and now I'm just adding a little bit of glue to each end of the popsicle stick. and then when I glue the center spoke of my wheel, I just add a little ball of glue to the center and now I have my darling little wheel, I think this one comes out really pretty, it looks a little rough at the moment, but I promise you that this it's going to look really adorable so now that I've done that I went ahead and pushed my popsicle sticks down further because it looks like my wheel was a little too far out and then I have the popsicle sticks on each end that I glued in the direction opposite because I had to glue them on because of the way I attached the original popsicle handle sticks, I hope that does Anyway, basically glue your popsicle sticks to the front of your wheel.
Now I'm going to go in and drill holes in the back of my planter and this will be for the handles of my wheelbarrow. Now I wish I had done this. at first, so if you can remember to make the holes for the wheel, there are handles ahead of time, go ahead and do that. I just pushed them in on the end, as you can see, because I wanted my handles to stick out like that. it was a real wheelbarrow and now I'm cutting out this little ten piece of that funny Dollar Tree sign because I wanted to add some tin to the legs of my little wheelbarrow because I noticed that a real wheelbarrow would have like metal legs here again, this part is definitely optional.
I just chose this extra step because I had that extra can of that sign on hand, so I was just hot gluing it to my popsicle sticks at the base and then decided to move on. and add some black paint to this. I didn't want to completely cover the paint, so I go back and wipe off some of the paint with a paper towel. I'm just going to use that black craft paint again. I wanted this. to make it look like some kind of old farmhouse, like it was actually being used outside. I know how she'll hold up to hugs, then she looks a little aged, so I wanted some of that metal to show through and then I'll move on too. the bottom of my wheelbarrow and I make a pretty thick line here because if you had a normal wheelbarrow, this part would also be metal along the bottom, depending on the type of wheelbarrow you have, there are actually a lot of different ones. types of wheelbarrows, whether it's a metal wheelbarrow or a wooden wheelbarrow, whatever floats your boat, have fun making a beautiful garden and now I'm going to go over my wheels with some black paint.
I went in and walked around the outside to the front. part and on the back and then I also touched up the little dots in and around the top of my planner, so I just take my brush with just a little bit of black craft paint and go in and along the top . This doesn't have to be perfect because a wheelbarrow that is in use and a little aged doesn't have to be perfect. I had originally painted this white and then distressed the front with some sandpaper. I decided to replace my wheelbarrow. handle the black ones with some wooden ones so I'm using some of that Dollar Tree contact paper that I had left over from another project and I'm wrapping two popsicle sticks with the brown craft paper or contact paper and I'm sorry and because I wanted to tip them here like I have wooden handles on my wheelbarrow, this is definitely an optional step and I was actually just going to use some brown craft paint, but I remembered I had saved a small craft order.
I had saved some wood contact paper so I'm just using that and now I'm trimming the edges so now I'm just replacing the black handles with the wooden ones, they bunched up a little where I pushed the handles in and I still thought that It came out quite adorable. Now I'm taking one of those brown wooden blocks and hot gluing it to the front of my wheelbarrow. This part is also optional. I had these blocks left over from another project. I just thought it made him look. type of more wheelbarrow II that's definitely another word, but it's fine anyway, so if you're like me and you're usually hauling weeds and weeds in your wheelbarrow, that's what you'll want it to look like if you're not going to do an overhaul - the top floral, of course you guys know me and I have to do a lot more so I'm definitely going to go for a floral.
Now I tried to make part of this flower arrangement out of my wheelbarrow because I didn't want to be. constantly pressing down with my little front wheel being a little touchy let's just say that so anyway I went ahead and added some greenery and our tree has some really nice greenery this time of year and I'm adding in some of those little ones dollar trees. gerbera daisies and I think this is coming out super adorable again, you guys couldn't stop here. I wanted to add a little color to this, making it a very French farmhouse piece.
I'm using it as my centerpiece, so I'm adding in some lilacs from Dollar Tree and also some lavender from Dollar Tree. Now I'm going to use one of those Easter signs from Dollar Tree and cut out the little Easter Bunny part. I'm using three skewers and a piece of green felt, what I want to do is make a floral selection with this Easter Bunny sign to put inside my Dollar Tree floral garden cart, so I'm adding hot glue to the back. I added those three shish kebabs to the base and then I'm gluing a generous amount with hot glue and then adding my little green felt on the back and that will create a really pretty floral selection and this is just a little tip, if you're making an arrangement floral, this is a really great way. to choose a wooden sign or just whatever your heart desires to add to your floral.
I'm adding that little vintage stud detail to the top again. This step is completely optional. I hadn't actually planned on adding this Easter sign, but I was able to. I couldn't resist getting super extra so I also went to the thrift store and found this really adorable ribbon for a quarter each and I'm using some of that wired ribbon from Dollar Tree, this is the pattern of chevron with the burlap and me. I'm creating an Olivia bow, so you just take the loops and wrap it over itself. I'm making two loops for the base loop and then you fold it in the center.
You will take your scissors and cut a small notch. Now remember. just a very small notch and this is what we are going to use to attach the bows together with the pipe cleaner, so take a pipe cleaner, place the bow and give it a good twist. Now you can go ahead and fluff the bun if you wish. I love using wired ribbon because it really helps you fluff your bun and then I'm going to do a three layer Olivia bun right here, you guys use whatever you have on hand and customize it with whatever colors you like, but you're just going to roll it up. on himself again.
Once I made three loops and then again they will fold it in half and then cut a small notch in the center. Remember a small notch, otherwise your bow will fall apart. The notches help them fluff their arches and then I added. A little bit of that lime green ribbon with another Olivia bow on the back and a little bit of lime green ribbon on the front. My camera died, so I apologize. I didn't show you that part and the way I put the bow on the bunny sign was just with a pipe cleaner and then I put that bunny sign on top of my floral and voila, here it is, it's so fantastic my mom came and she really praised this project, she was really impressed, she really loves garden things, so I thought this was super adorable and very creative and I was actually very excited too.
I really wanted something fantastic for my table centerpiece that described spring and Easter together and I think this little project definitely achieved that. Comment and let me know. If you're inspired to try something like this, I really love how it turned out and also remember that you can keep it minimal with brown grass or green grass, you can go with a couple of flowers or you can go crazy. and I make a giant arrangement on top. The next thing I'm going to do is make a pipe cleaner bunny, so first I wrap it around my ear and then I twist it to make it secure.
I'll just repeat it, repeat it, and then. Once I'm done with that, I'm going to go over it and I'm going to bring it back down and then I'm going to make a little circle for the head, this one will be a little bit smaller than the body and then we're going to run the pipe cleaner through the circle twice so that come back down at the bottom so we can do the body, so now I'm going to wrap the end of the pipe cleaner around the head and wrap it around. around the bottom of the head now we're going to make two little bows for the bunnies, so the first one I'm going to hot glue and stick between the ears and the head so it looks like it has a cute bow. on the top of his head and an exhibit that I'm going to paste and between the head and the body and it's a cute little boy, yeah, and then I'm going to paste them on that next to the pastels.
It was a great thank you. to my daughter for joining me today for this craft session by helping me paint and also create these adorable bunnies to use with my faux cakes and speaking of faux cakes, if you want to know where I buy my faux cakes, I buy them at Rhonda's. Rose Cottage Designs she makes the most amazing designs her prices are really reasonable her work is so detailed and perfect I know you are going to love it and I hope you all have fun with spring crafts again. I have a lot of spring and Easter.
The DIY's I will link below, you guys are amazing, thank you for all your love and support. I read all your comments for the first DIY. We are going to create a beautiful garland using strips of old fabric and ribbons left over from other projects. So I simply cut these strips of fabric into strips of about 10 to 16 inches. It didn't really matter that they weren't the perfect length because sometimes when you make a bow you have extra ribbons left over that are different links. I just tried it. to cut them so they were about the same length and they also ended up a little worn.
Now I'm just taking a piece of that jute thread from Dollar Tree and I'm putting it through a really giant big needle and then I'm going to take it, I'm just going to put it through the end of this piece of fabric and that way the fabrics that are a little bit thicker ones, like some of those burlap lace I had left over from Dollar Tree that has wire in them. I couldn't really tie that to a garland, so I just want to take it and I want to pass it through, so I'm going to take every piece of leftover fabric.
There's that burlap lace I was talking about so I just take that piece of thread and push it in and then the jute thread fits perfectly through the cords and the different fabrics and if it was a little difficult I just pushed it down and it was fine, this is a piece of old Tape left over from another project I had. This is a great way to recycle your really nice fabrics or maybe you have a favorite shirt that has this beautiful pattern on it, but it has a huge thing on it that you can't cut out. put it up and then use it and make a beautiful shabby chic garland or any type of garland you want so maybe decorate and sign the black and whites around the house you guys could use some of your old scarves or anything that suits your likes, it's great too. way to recycle and reuse maybe a loved one's shirt or blanket, so I made a fairly large garland, this took a bit of time mainly with the cutting part and then I tied my jute twine to the end of a chair and I said: me and my couch just took some needle and thread and just threaded each strip that way, if it was a different link, it wasn't a big deal or it was a different thickness, I didn't have totie it up, I hope.
That makes sense and that's how it turned out now. I hung it on this curtain in my dining room so the light shines through it and the colors aren't completely true to how it looks, it's a little more pastel II, but these are also really great for birthday parties, baby showers. I've seen people use long strips and make wedding garland backdrops, so get creative. I hope you like this and it's a really fun way to upcycle and repurpose some of your old fabrics and cords. Cut out leftovers from other projects. I can also do that if I want to make it shorter.
I can trim it, but again I want it to look a little shabby chic, so I left it long and fun and also left some space at the end. of your twine to tie it up and leave those tails a little long that way, if you want to space out your garland and make it a little bigger, it slides around because it's not tied, so I hope it makes sense now for the next one at Dell. 'utri DIY I'm going to take four rolls of these decorative meshes, two pink, white and purple, and I'm going to cut ten inch strips so they don't have to be perfect and the decorative mesh can be used for a little bit of Dollar Tree, if you want one best quality, you can always go to the craft stores, but I'm going to cut 10 inches long on each piece of decorative mesh and then I'm going to put them together into a three-pack, so I'm going to take the mesh, I'm going to pull it up and bring it together so that it makes a small arc again, this doesn't have to be perfect, you guys I'm using it too. a clothespin, you can also use a clip to hold the mesh, so just put it back together and then cut it all the way to the end and I'm going to make three little gathers and then this is what I'm going to call a bundle. and then once I have my whole package, I'm going to take a piece of pipe cleaner and I'm going to clean those two, these three together, so just take your pipe cleaner and you're going to spin it twice. on the back and that will give you a packet and this is what we're going to use to create our beautiful Easter egg wreath, so here's the packet.
I have purple, white and pink. I also made a couple that were just pink and white, so be creative, it doesn't have to be perfect again. I created 30 of these three packs, so there are three little ruffled bows that are tied together and I created 30 of these to fill an entire hanger that I wanted mine. be nice and full and this required four rolls of decorative mesh from Dollar Tree so what I like to do is cut all my decorative mesh strips then make my bundles and then stack them all together that's the easiest way to do it.
You definitely have a show or something on hand to entertain yourself. Now I'm just taking a wire hanger and pulling it out to create my egg shape, so I pulled it out from the bottom and then pushed it in. At one point this took a little bit of maneuvering but it really wasn't that difficult now that I have my hanger with a long oblong shape, I'm taking my package and I'm going to twist it so I'm going to the end of my little shape of hanger and I'm taking the pipe cleaner and I'm twisting it twice to the bottom of the hanger.
You can also start from the top. I simply chose to start from the bottom. Since I thought it would be easier to slide them together, I'm also alternating the pink packets with the pink, white, and purple packets since I didn't have as many purple packets that way. a little bit more, there will be so many packages in here that you won't really fully notice how perfect it is, so this is a great easy project again, the hardest part of this really is just making the packages, but then once you've accomplished that, ready you will have this big beautiful fluffy easter egg wreath to which you can add any kind of lovely decoration you want so continue working on both sides of the hanger tying your bundles so take your bundle and turn it sideways the back with two loops on the pipe cleaner and then you'll have a bunch of pipe cleaners left over on the back and you can go ahead and cut them off now that I'm on top.
I'm just going to add a bundle to the top where the hanger is and leave the hanger there that way I can hang it on the wreath and I don't have to have any kind of hanger, so I made that. Add two bundles to the top of my wreath too, now that I have all my little decorative mesh bundles tied up I'm playing around with what type of sign I want to put here so I decided to go really festive. and use this Dollar Tree sign that says Happy Easter. I'm just going to use the bunny head for this part and then I'm going to add some ribbon and a couple of eggs, so I'm going to take two pipe cleaners and underneath where that bow is.
At the top of the bunny's ears, I'm going to add two twists of the pipe cleaners to each side of the ears and then I'm going to use those pipe cleaners to tie the bunny in the center of my wreath, so once I have the pipe cleaners on, I'm just going to push the packets to the side and this is towards the center part of the wreath and then I'm going to find where the hanger is and I'm just going to twist those little pipe cleaners and that's it. I'm going to hold your bunny head pretty easily now.
You can still see kind of a pipe cleaner where the bow is, but I'm going to redo that bow on top to where you can't see it and there she is super adorable and absolutely smart, of course you could stop here, but you know me, I have to get some more. I really decided that this bunny would be really cute with a pink nose too, so I used some of that super cheap craft paint from Walmart that's in the pink peony is from Apple Barrel and I'm just painting my bunny's little nose pink just to give her a little girly touch and glam her up and make her perfect for this super adorable decorative mesh egg crown and then she has her nose. all painted pink and ready for a fabulous Easter.
I painted those carrots on the side, but decided not to use them. I'm taking one of those pink ribbons from Dollar Tree and making an Olivia bow. There are two ties for Toriel that bind him. Below you also just take your tape and roll it over itself. I made two loops and then folded it in half. I'm finding the center. I'm going to take my scissors and I'm going to cut a little notch in Each side of the tape remember a very, very small notch, especially with the clear tape because it tends to tear very easily and then I take my pipe cleaner and I'm just going to paint the cleaner, we turn it back twice and then I'm going to make two more bows to place on top of this larger bow so that the clear bow is at the bottom of the ribbon and then I'm going to use this Dollar Tree Chevron that was left over from my wheelbarrow project, which Thank you all so much for the love on that one, so I also made two loops with this ribbon and now I'm notching it in the center and notching it just a little bit again, don't cut all the way through. ribbon or it will break, so I'm going to take the pipe cleaner and add two more twists and place this black and burlap Chevron on top of the pink clear ribbon.
I'm using what I have on hand, so I think it's been nice to have had some purple, but I'm at it again. I'm using what I have, so the pink and white ribbon you can also find at Dollar Tree. It's in her baby section, just FYI, I'm making one now. more Olivia bow, except I'm not going to make a notch in the center of this one, this ribbon was a little difficult to work with because it had broken, it could have been me, it could have been Dollar Tree. I don't know, anyway, I did it. Three loops in that one and then I tie it to the loop and then I'm going to fan them out again.
The ribbon wasn't the best quality, but we're using what we have and I'm going to try it, so now I just put the bow with the pipe cleaner holding the whole bow together, it would be the right side if you're looking at the wreath, so I did that . off center, you could place the bow in the center, whatever floats your boat, it really looks adorable there and so festive. with its cute bow now I had a couple pieces left over with that ribbon, so I just made a quick, messy, tight tie again. There are no tutorials below, but I'm adding that kind of offset at the top. on the left, you guys could also put this in the center, top and bottom, but I thought it looked really cute and then of course, don't forget the most important part: fluffing your buns for the crowning glory of our beloved bunny.
I added a pink. bow at the top I also tied some of that jute twine into a big bow and added it on top of the pink and white bow and then I also added a cute little duller pink button but it looks adorable and then I had to get yet more because this bunny needs some eggs to hide in, so I'm going to use some of those speckled eggs from Dollar Tree. I had a couple of pink eggs and a couple of aqua ones lying around so I'm going to use them and then I even found a little piece of blue ribbon that I added to the side of the bottom bow and here she is looking so pretty, ready for a hippity hoppity Easter .
I hope you like this and again, don't forget that you can do this. customize this with any decoration you like so you can use all the different colors of decorative mesh. You could opt for a more carrot green. I thought this egg is very sweet and perfect to mix in with my French farmhouse decor. In fact, I'm going to use this one outside because I feel like the decorative mesh holds up really well outside and we've been having some crazy wind lately, so here it is. I hope you all like it and feel very inspired. I added a few of those too. small antique tacks on the top of his ears where the holes for the hanger part of the sign were.
I had them on hand guys, you could also use little buttons or whatever bubbles you have in your craft stash for the next dollar tree. I'm going to use one of their little canvas signs now. I didn't actually use my new market sign, but I showed you that one because that's the size I used, this was one of the Paris ones and it didn't quite fit. my decor and I really wanted a bunny decor for my kitchen so I painted over the sign with some white homemade chalk paint to make my chalk paint. I use a cup of regular paint to a half cup of baking soda, it's great for craft projects, so Now I'm just using a little touch of Apple Barrel black craft paint and I'm creating sort of little black stripes over here.
I want to give this that farmhouse feel just by mixing it up a little bit. for my kitchen because in my kitchen I normally have the Farm Fresh Market sign, but that's going to go away because I'm decorating for Easter and comment and let me know if you want me to do an Easter home tour so now just Taking that little graphic of bunny, I showed you this in another project, this graphic is one of the very calm graphics and I will link your site below. It has a lot of really cool old images that you guys can print for free, so now.
I'm taking a little bit of Mod Podge and I'm just Mod Podge on the back of this. I had also abraded the edges of this using a lighter. I didn't show that part because I wasn't sure that if a kid saw that, he wouldn't do it. I don't want you to play with a lighter, but just take a lighter and run it along the edge of the paper to give it that kind of worn look. You can also stain it with coffee or you can use a little paint or marker. around the edge of that, so now I'm going in and surrounding the whole bunny with a little bit of Mod Podge and I applied two coats of Mod Podge to make sure it was really nice and there it is, I think it looks absolutely. adorable, perfect for my little French farmhouse, kitchen, hippity-hoppity.
