Okay, a lot of things affect our blood sugar, but if you eat differently than normal, that will obviously adjust. your blood sugar changes it, so you'll have to learn to dose differently, maybe you have larger meals, you'll have to dose differently, maybe you have smaller meals, you'll have to dose differently.

True, I teach this in detail in my course. I'm a big fan of what I call microdosing, so microdosing is actually taking the dose of insulin for the meal and distributing it, and you really need to become an expert at that in order to become an expert at type one, um, but if you're eating differently, I hope you already know that you need less or more microdoses of insulin is more like the advanced step, just figuring out your first dose is pretty difficult. For most people, that's true, but I work with microdosing with patients to really understand that they know our meals aren't suddenly digested all at once and our blood sugar doesn't go up all at once, sometimes is slow.
Spike constant over time, so make sure you learn how to make adjustments to your different meals right now, that's tip number one. Okay, you have to adjust differently when you eat different foods. I'd love to help you learn more about it. Number two is what is your stress level like? We all know that stress can raise blood sugar, so if you have a lot of anxiety and who knows what else is going on in your life, you know that greed is not the only stressful thing in people's lives. worlds today um I certainly know that it's not just in mine too so I realize that the stress that I just noticed the other day I was running probably 10 or 20 points higher all morning when I was dealing with something very stressful um sometimes it's like a mild spike, but other times it's a really intense spike, you get the phone call, you're scared and you get the spike, so it's true, it's not just foods that spike our blood sugar. blood, our own emotions can raise our blood sugar level, so please.
Check out my page to see my feed of all the other videos I've been making. I have many videos explaining ways you can reduce your stress, which is very important right now. Okay, but that's step number two or thing number. Two, that always step that may be changing your blood sugar levels right now. Well, of course, the third thing is your activity level. Know? Are you being more active right now? You will need less insulin. Are you being less active right now? You're going to need more insulin. I really encourage you to stay active. It is key to keeping our immune system strong, but you need to learn to adjust your insulin, not only at meal times, but also to your environment if you are more or less active.
I'd love to help you with that if you don't know how to do that and then of course step number four that you might be changing right now is your sleep patterns. Will you stay up later? Do you sleep less? Do you sleep more? Getting good sleep really affects our blood sugar levels. Lack of sleep can cause a level of stress that lasts all day and that can create a need for more background insulin, or maybe you're less stressed because you're not at work. maybe all those stress chemicals aren't pulsing through your blood and then maybe you need less insulin, so those are the four things I wanted to leave you with today, although I want you to think about whether your blood sugar levels are unstable, TRUE? eat differently, do you need to dose differently? do you exercise differently, more or less? do you sleep differently?
And what is your stress level more or less? So those are four areas, interestingly enough, they correlate to my four pillars of health that I often talk about about how to sleep well. good diet, good exercise and good mental health, so I really want you to think about those four things, how they might affect your blood sugar.
